I worked five years at a convience store/gas station identical to KumnGo (specifically in the food prep and service area (subs, pizzas, salads, etc) in a different state, so perhaps the policy/standards are different here, but, the food prep needs an overhaul and team members need a few training sessions. Ive witnessed, multiple times, team members not wearing hats or allowing their hair to flow freely without restraint, food prep people wearing gloves but touching door handles, handles to the oven, and/or wiping sweat from their face without changing gloves, and two instances of trainees leaning with their elbows on food prep surfaces (skin to food prep area contact). Prepared items like pizza slices and hotdogs are left cooking too long before they are replaced, tongs for grabbing said hot dogs and rancheros are not consistently cleaned so grease coagulates on the end, and employees not washing their hands when returning from the back of the store. I have also seen employees eating in this area while preparing food. Some of the cashiers prefer to continue their conversations rather than address the customer, and constantly eat at the registers. Their greatest strength is the friendliness of their entire staff. Never had an issue with a rude cashier, and they work as quickly as they can. All in all, its a good store but effort /training is definitely needed to make it an excellent store.

I went into the store this evening and asked the manager if they was completely out of pizza for the night and the manager Joyce bit my head of for no reason it was very rude and uncalled for I will not be going back to this kum and go ever

I had a very unpleasant experience with a staff member Joy she was very rude during our entire interaction. When I apologized if I upset her and asked what was wrong she blamed it on being sick. My thoughts, If youre sick during a pandemic why are you working? As a server I know what expectations should be had when dealing with customers and her behaviour was down right disrespectful and uncalled for. She should not be in the retail industry.

Despite the silly name. Kum and go offers a wide array of drinks, coffee and snacks. The service was friendly and quick. I’ve never been to one of these before but this location is definitely on the newer side (2018) then the others in the area.

Usually I like kum n go but today a female whale was working at the register and rudely told me I was not next in line when I was clearly waiting for 5 minutes. While I was still waiting she waddled away while a nice guy checked out 2 people at the same time.

This is the only gas station I go to in Springfield. It’s SO clean, they keep it extremely nice. Nearly every time I come in there is someone there mopping or wiping down the soda station.They are really fast and efficient to get people checked out quickly, which is much appreciated!!

I was in last evening and again first thing this morning (very early) and Drew was the associate that helped me. Wonderful customer service. Very attentive to me as a customer and got me a rewards card after learning that I work at Cox South, knowing that Id be in quite often. It has been a long time since Ive experienced this exceptional customer service and support. I want to send out a huge thank you to this associate and the team that brought her on board.

This location was recently completely remodeled and has a food counter with made to order sandwiches as well as pizza slices. You can order an entire pizza and they have fresh produce.

This is a very nice store. Its clean with nice customer service. There was a wide variety of fountain drinks, slushies and coffees. Also, there were sandwichs, burritos, cookies along with the typical gas station fare. The restrooms were nice and clean.

I really like this place given its location, accessibility and easy in and it style ( like most kum & go locations. The batteries are very clean as well, however the cashier Ive been seeing lately just has very poor customer service skills. I get that small talk is annoying after so many times, but a smile and ahi goes a long way. Not what do you need followed by the total and then my receipt, all monotobe and Im sure never actually looked at me even. I know its her not the business but I think for now Im only getting gas via pump here. I will go somewhere else nearby for face to face stuff.

Expensive as all hell, even for a gas station. The shaved street ape behind the counter was all attitude, not good attitude but community attitude. Quality of the food was sub-par, even for a gas station. Wont be back. Overall cant really stand K&G, way overpriced all the time.
