The place has a good vibe overall; however, their couch chairs are incredibly worn out. And not in a cool way. The leather is cracked and bottoms worn down to the wood base. Not a comfy place to relax at all.Regarding the food, I was disappointed. I ordered a 3 meat sandwich. When I got it, the spinach and tomato was served to the side. Note the singular in tomato. I was served exactly six spinach leaves and one small tomato slice for a full sized sandwich. The spinach was enough to barely cover the surface area of the sandwich with one layer and the tomato barely half. I went to ask for some more veggies and was promptly told that it would be a 60 cent upcharge for what they should have given me anyway. I find it ridiculous that they be so stingy with the cheapest ingredients in their kitchen.To add insult to injury, they never gave us the scone we ordered so we had to go ask for it again.I would not recommend this place.

Travellers is great atmosphere whether youre working alone or for a business meeting. The staff are always friendly and go out of the way to take care of you. Im never disappointed whenever I visit.

Terrible because the owner takes thing extremely personal. If you have an issue with an order, hell look at you in disgust, and laugh you off as if you were a joke. I would highly recommend taking your business else where, simply down the street. It is sad that a Christian coffee shop has made me so distraught to write a negative review but I do hope that one day it changes or the owners attitude is toned down a notch. This was an outrageous experience time out with my friends and I do highly recommend not giving them your precious time and business. Thank you.

Great little spot for a cup of coffee and fellowship.This wonderful establishment has generously allowed our Life group to hold a bible study in their private room on Tuesday nights for the past several weeks. Shame on me for not checking in every Tuesday night that Ive spent there and provided a review before now.If you take your kids to the fieldhouse or work nearby stop in and give them some love. 💕

I am visiting family and have stopped by Travellers three times in a week! I was worries the third time because I was in a hurry and it was packed but they managed to get my food, a smoothie, and a latte to me in under 10 minutes. Tasty food, good coffee, and great service!

The coffee here is amazing and the customer service is always great too. Theres such a calm and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for reading a book or catching up with an old friend.

I have been here a few times now. Each trip has been great. The staff is kind and efficient and knowledgeable. The prices are maybe slightly higher than average but the coffee is worth the price. I like the environment. I signed up for the rewards and I exercise right down the street so Ill definitely keep coming.

The coffee tastes great and their staff were so sweet! It was my first time there, and they were very patient with me! I worked on homework for a couple hours there and the atmosphere was perfect to knock out assignment!

This is hands-down my favorite coffee shop in Springfield! Not only is there coffee in credible but they have a fantastic menu. The barista‘s are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly! Besides coffee they have smoothies and tea. Nick who works there as well as being A part of the family that owns it is a TEA WIZARD! A lot of times I have no idea what to get so I just walk up and ask them what’s good today and they never fail to give me something new and tastes incredible!The atmosphere is great! When it’s cold they crank up the fireplace and they have a back room that you can reserve for private group events. On Wednesday nights the young adults group that I attend meets at 8 PM At their other location by MSU. That’s right the goodness has two locations in Springfield! If you’re looking for incredible tea, smoothies, or coffee and a great community I’ll see you at the boomer location at 8pm!

I was going to use the Travels House as a vendor at my wedding. I have given the owner the courtesy and opportunity to return my calls or emails at his convenience. I even drove up from Texas to meet with him and try to establish contact to see if the opportunity did exist for us to use their business. However, he has not attempted to return the calls. He has not even acknowledged that we have tried to contact him. Based on the lack of customer service I rate him poorly.

Travellers is right near a basketball venue I spend TONS of time at. Its convenient but Id honestly go out of my way to stop by anyway. BEST tasting sugar free options in town, always nice customer service. Theyre quick even when they are busy and my kids love their smoothies also!

Their coffee has really come along since switching their coffee from The Roasterie to No Coast Coffee. Baristas are friendly, and love the quiet environment.

Outstanding and modern coffee shop, they have a great selection of coffee and tea as well as hot chocolate and a few soda choices which is great because the big shop competition seems to forget that a coffee lover may travel with a non-coffee lover on occasion. I would recommend to anyone looking for coffee, tea, or a quick drink anywhere near Republic Road.

Love this place. Had a Bible study every Monday night for the last 8 weeks. Always a great iced coffee and snack of some kind. Lemon Bar was amazing but the last night I had a Pumpkin Muffin and oh so yummy! Conference room was nice and always clean. Great place a for a small group to meet.

Good selection of syrups, and sugar free syrup. Try the sugar free almond syrup in a latte. Large selection of loose tea.

Great atmosphere and service, people working there are friendly and helpful. Would have given 5 stars but NO employees, including the owner, were wearing masks. Masks are a must to protect your customers and prevent spread of disease.

Always a comforting and welcoming atmosphere. Great for sitting down with the laptop to get work completed and/or hanging with the family for a snack. The coffee and food selection is diverse and the staff is courteous and relatable. Classy without a hint of pretentiousness. The cinnamon rolls are worth the trip alone! Highest recommendation!

I love Travellers! Its a great place to study, work, meet up with a friend. Lots of options for drinks from coffee to tea to smoothies. The food menu is concise and well rounded and the food itself has always been tasty. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Very happy they are open on Sunday! You can find so many variations of lattes here its hard to recommend - just go see for yourself!

UPDATE I used their party room to host a bridal shower and the food and service was AMAZING!! Cherie, the catering manager, took such good care of me!! She called me often checking my head count then added more food the day before! They set up the room beautifully and had all the plates and utensils laid out so nice! I ended up not being able to attend due to last minute Covid symptoms but my friend was able to step right in and host with such ease because of the great job the staff had done!! Oh, and they let me run a tab so my guests could order whatever drink they wanted. And when I got the final bill it was so much less than I thought!! HIGHLY, HUGELY RECOMMEND!!!🧡🧡🧡The arrive early and the arrive late are my favorite coffees!

I had a bridal shower here and it was just perfect! You cant bring in any outside food or drink, but their lemon bars are fantastic!

Excellent coffee, food, atmosphere, and service. Their drinks are very flavorful. Even their iced coffees still have a coffee flavor, unlike most coffee shops who assume you only want to taste pure sugar unless you order black coffee.

Super friendly staff! Fun and sharp people. You could come here in a T-shirt and Toms or an executive suit and feel that you belong there. The coffee is very good, not life changing or the best Ive ever had, but super solid brews. They have done great utilizing the pretty small space they are in, a private meeting room, a bar top section you are not awkward at if sitting by yourself, tables, and a couch seating area. The flow of the space and the atmosphere seals the deal!

My daughter and I ordered coffee and couple sandwiches. I wasnt paying attention to total and didnt get a receipt so when they called my name to pick up only 1 sandwich it was an oops on both our accounts, no big deal. The girl ran back to get another sandwich going. My daughter and I stood at the counter not knowing what to do about paying for it since no one was up there then and sandwich would probably take a little bit. So we decided to sit down and wait for them to call name to pay for it. The owner came out and looked over at us and started walking to back and my daughter stood up trying to mouth pay now? But he was gone. Couple minutes later he brought the sandwich to us, put it down, and said so are you just not going to pay for it? I thought he was joking around as I stood up to follow to register explaining we were waiting for someone to pay to. He rang us up looking pretty irritated about it all. This was very hurtful. I get that some people try to score free food however they can but to act in assumption like that to customers is uncalled for. A better way to make sure its paid for is to call name like did with 1st one and say Ill get you over here at register. It ruined my daughters and I one day a week breakfast. I did talk to him on phone and he apologized and offered a free sandwich but I again, was never out for free food. Just respect.

Went here for the first time ever and kid you not the environment was absolutely wonderful and super clean! Emily was absolutely amazing. A real person who was super excited to hear I was new! I asked her to surprise me with a drink that was sweet and iced. She picked me an amazing drink. I suggest seeing her if you have never been. Highly recommend this place for everyone.

Best coffee in town. When Im not even awake yet these people are sooo nice. I go to Krispy Kreme when I want a dessert coffee and come here for everything else. I still cant believe how much Expresso is in the frappes for how good they taste. Highly recommend.

Travellers House is a great combination of third wave coffee shop with the mainstream appeal of second wave coffee shop. If you dont know what that means, just go try it. They have good coffee, good service, good food, and a wide array of clientele. Its a great place to meet a friend or a business associate, and its also a great place to get alone and work on your project or homework. They offer solid breakfast, lunch, dinner menu items, both bakery style or produced in their kitchen, as well as a cooler of to-go items. They will serve all a wide spread of coffees and teas, and they will help you figure out what you like. You can even order online through Facebook or their website and pick it up. So many options. Its worth your time if you want coffee or tea or want to meet up with someone.

This is my favorite tea and coffee place. It is locally owned and as an avid tea drinker I love trying all of the types they offer. The staff is second to none when it comes to service. If you live in Springfield and havent been here you are missing out. If you come to visit stop by and stay a while by the cozy fire!

Passing through Springfield and stopped in for a Caramel Brulee. I know this is completely subjective, but it was the best cup of coffee Ive had in a long time. Really enjoyed it.

I love the atmosphere and the selection. I was excited to get the Toasted Mate herbal tea based on the online menu, but it was no longer available. The turmeric ginger was fine as an alternative. Location is reasonable. Not right in the middle of everything, but not too far off my usual path to prevent my going again.

I love the mission behind their concept. It seems like when I go in now they are always busy which is awesome to see for a local shop. Single origin or your more sugary variety, they have you covered for whatever your taste including tasty breakfast sandwiches and nabs!

Ive heard about this place from friends and family and finally got around to trying it out. Wish I came here sooner! Loved the cozy atmosphere, my husband and I spent over an hour here just enjoying the coffee and very delicious sandwiches. Overall the place was very great and the staff very friendly!

The only 5 star coffee shop (with a lot of reviews) in my city. So I thought Id try it out. It. Was. Wonderful. Its a great place that Id happily spend some time in to do some work or just run in and get a (wonderful, though more research is required) drink. Their reviews are definitely well earned.

Clean atmosphere, nice ambiance, neat side room. I ordered an Americano with two extra shots of espresso, and when I received my order it was a standard Americano. I looked at my receipt and wasnt charged for the two additional shots, but it still isnt what I ordered.Pleasant staff.

Ive been here twice and both times loved it. On my first visit I had a vanilla latte, and on my second visit I tried tea. The baristas were great at helping me to select a tea (Im usually a coffee drinker), and everyone was welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was nice -- there seemed to be an equal mix of conversation and studying happening. Ill definitely be back and maybe next time will try a pastry.
