Best coffee in Springfield, no joke. They sell large delicious flavored drinks, and can prepare great traditional drinks as well. Nice short order food menu and friendly staff. This cafe is a great addition to Springfield!

Woke up in my new place without a coffee maker, and a craving for coffee. Decided to skip my normal coffee routine and try something new. As soon as I walked into The Black Lab I was extremely excited! The atmosphere was wicked inviting and laid back, and was super unique. I really liked how there were so many unique options for coffee/drinks. I ended up trying I think the Mountaindog coffee and was blown away. The barista was super friendly and helpful! Will 100% be making this my new go-to coffee spot! Plus they have a pinch card system.. who doesn’t love free coffee!?!?

This is a really unique setup and I loved it. The decor was cool! I thought it was really awesome. I got the Black Lab latte. Very rich, very tasty. My husband got one of the seasonal drinks. Both together were about $7 after tax, so I think its very affordable. The staff was kind and efficent and friendly. The barista answered all of our rambling questions and comments with grace. Ill definitely be back!

Loved it here! One of my favorite local coffee shops. Strongly recommend the coffee flights for anyone looking to try something different but does not want to order four 12oz coffees for yourself.

This is a great location and an outstanding company. The coffee is incredible, the environment is comfortable and spacious. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the owners are gracious and professional! Highly recommend!

Always enjoy a latte or frappe from Black Lab Coffee Co. They have a great selection and are always willing to make a suggestion. Seasonal are always fun to try as well!

Latte was good however; I asked for extra hot (thus is my usual wherever I go) it was at best Luke warm. Like I said coffee had good flavor just not hot enough.

Just moved downtown and was excited to try black lab. I’ve always been a Mudhouse regular. But Black lab has become my go to. Closer walking coffee and food are great.Wish there was a larger vegetarian selection and a neighbor discount for people living downtown like some other places around.

This place was a wonderful find on our road trip through Missouri. Every day we picked a new local coffee shop and during our trip picked this one as our favorite. My favorite drink was the hound dawg and the lady picked the mountain dog as her favorite.I wish we had this place in Mississippi.

We had a good experience trying the flight of coffee. Next time I want a frozen German Shepherd. Excellent service

We recently discovered Black Lab, and weve loved the quality of the coffee! They feature Copper Canyon coffee, and they do a great job with their drinks! I already loved CC coffee, and with Black Lab doing pour overs, etc. with it, the coffee is even tastier!

What a great coffee shop. Nice big tables, plus, more private bar seating areas. Lots of partitions so if youre studying or out with a friend you can find your own little corner to hunker down in. A good selection of delicious, and moderately priced, breakfast items. Plus, the coffee was delicious.

Love the decor! I got a latte and avocado toast and I was disappointed I know my lattes and this one was very milky, could hardly taste any coffee. The toast needs to be toasted more and my preference would be sliced cherry tomatoes, this had very pale hamburger tomatoes that had hard yellow centers. A bit of paprika would have been nice as well. My friend got a vanilla iced latte which she said was pretty good and a breakfast burrito that was good but didnt match up to other local coffee shops. IMO.

This was very good, the host that served us was incredibly polite, and the Smoothies and Coffee we got were amazing! Would rate 6 if possible!

This is a nice, quiet place for a delicious latte or coffee. Perfect for those who need a quiet place to ponder. Also has room for groups of 4 persons if you need a quick meeting.

Went here to try a new coffee place in the area. The goldendoodle frappuccino is a must try, very delicious! The atmosphere and customer service were also beyond friendly and inviting. The fact that they also allow dogs into their establishment is also a big plus given the fact that I can now bring my black lab to the black lab coffee company!!! How ironic!Thank you guys for such a great first time experience and we plan to be back soon!

We stopped by opening day and were not disappointed! This is a sister shop to the original Black Lab Coffee Company in Republic. The coffee and products are always fresh and delicious. My favorite is the Snoopy hot and the Scooby Doo Frappe (think a liquid reeses cup with caffeine...sooo good!) I havent had anything I dont like yet honestly. But the best reason to go is the staff are always so friendly and genuinely nice people. There are often events hosted, like game nightsThe owners Christa and Case give back to the, live music, etc. And they offer catering too! communities in both RepMo and Springfield, and all the baristas are great at what they do. You definitely wont be sorry you visited. My kids love the caramel frappes hold the coffee, or the rich hot chocolates! 🤤☕🍫
