Recently purchased a car from Tyler at Sheehy of Springfield. He was great to work with, guided us through the process and answered all the questions we had. He made sure we had the opportunity to test out any car that we wanted to consider. He also patiently waited for us as we completed the process, which went well past the time the shop closed. In the weeks after he also followed up with me to check-in and make sure everything was going well. I highly recommend Sheehy, as this is the second car weve bought from them, and strongly recommend working with Tyler when you stop in.
Bought a car from them in November 2020. Was a fine experience. I called their service advisor on the phone and asked about getting the safety and emissions checks done and I have a busted rear-view mirror. He said they would be able to fix it and pass the checks after they fixed the mirror. I set up the appointment on their website. I take the car in to the appointment and the guy at the service desk asks if I’m bringing it in for an oil change. I informed him of the conversation I had with the service coordinator and of the appointment information. He suggested I take it to a Nissan dealership to fix the mirror because they only have Ford certified mechanics. He refused to accept the car for the repair. It’s well past its warranty, I don’t care who does the work on it, and I made the appointment and the service advisor said they would be able to fix it.I left. I had planned my whole day around getting my car down there and organizing a ride just to be turned away from an appointment I was ensured would be what I needed.On a previous visit for an oil change I brought my car and informed the service people I would wait for the car. I waited almost two hours and when I inquired again they found my keys on the desk of the service rep that I had originally spoken to who had since left for the day.Overall, terrible place. If you buy a car here let it be the last interaction you have with them.
Ive been going here for a while out of convenience, but today was the last straw. Each time we receive the car back from service its absolutely filthy. Most dealers will give you a complimentary wash at least, but definitely not worse than when you dropped it off. Last time there was a huge smear of heavy black grease across the back that took serious cleaner to remove. This time they returned the car covered in dirt, and with ONE mile of gas left in the tank (see pic). We barely made it to the station to refill! They had our car for more than a week and wouldnt provide a loaner. Im done with this location.
Poor VIP Detail Service at Sheehy Ford in SpringfieldI recently took my 2017 Ford F250 in for recall service and as a VIP member I had the Detail Service for $99. I was disappointed with the Detail service. There were numerous spots that they did not even try to address. It would have been just as good to use the local car wash and pay less. I was hoping that this was a real Detailing service when they actually clean the vehicle completely first before applying any kind of wax, and it it takes a small effort to remove scratches or spots in the clearcoat, then they would actually attempt to do that. I used my fingernail in some places and easily removed spots. I did have a scratch on one side, and I used turtlewax scratch remover and that took about 5 minutes or less and it looks perfect. Why wouldnt the Detail Service actually try to do this or if needed call the customer and let them know?
My husband and stepson purchased a used truck from this dealership just a week ago. According to them there was nothing wrong with this vehicle. They got an approval from the bank and the check was sent to the dealership before they arrived to pick up the truck. Once they arrived they noticed two dents that they were not made aware of, it had an exhaust leak, which they did fix. We’ll when they left with the truck it was cool weather. Now it’s warm and the air conditioner in the truck doesn’t work. Probably never did. We will not purchase from here again. The hidden issues and dishonesty from this dealership is just wrong. Lesson learned. An expensive one.
I would like to say I appreciate the hospitality of the workers at Sheehy Ford. They went above and beyond what was expected. This is my first experience buying a car. I am from Richmond VA. It is a shame I had to drive almost 2 hours away to get treated with respect and honesty. I felt at ease through the whole buying experience before they even saw my face. If I ever have to buy a car again I will be coming to Sheehy Ford of Springfield VA first. When you treat people right you will always get there business.
Ive bought a Legacy and an Ascent. Purchase was easy and I appreciate the use of technology to facilitate sales. I also liked the Sheehy direct option - that was very helpful during the pandemic. I hope that feature stays. Getting my car serviced was efficient and the team even gave my son a toy car to play with while we waited. Dul is great. Hes helpful and professional. I plan to keep my business here.
I received great service from Michael Norkus. He is deeply knowledgeable and helped me find a new F-150 in this current hard-to-find market. I highly recommend him if youre looking for a new vehicle.
I brought in my car for a service appointment made in advance. I dropped it off at 10 am and they said they’d call me when it was ready the same day. By 5 pm I had called and texted them to see if it was ready and got put on hold and hung up on. By 6 pm I just showed up in person. After EIGHT HOURS they couldn’t tell me what was wrong or when it would be ready, the just said to leave it with them overnight and they’d *maybe* have it done the next day. This happened once before when I brought it in for a factory recall issue. After two bad experiences I’ll find somewhere that will fix my car when I make an appointment and answer my calls.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!! I Will never purchase anything from here again! At the beginning everything is great, everyone is nice just to get a sale! 3 months of having my car it started shutting down took it in to get fixed in sheehy since I purchased warranty! Taking it in thinking they would work on my car little did I know, NOTHING WAS DONE! I called over and over to see what was going on with my car and all I got was I don’t know., it wasn’t me or you will get a call back! Finally I called back once again after being told I would receive a call which I did not and was told to take my car some where else because it couldn’t be fixed there! With out a car for two weeks just to be told nothing was done is very disappointing! Very quick to get my money but not quick to get things fixed.
I just purchase a new 2021 F-150 about 2 days ago. My salesman was Michael Anderson. The buying process was completely great, and I will explain further. I first started my truck buying process with Ted Britt Ford in Chantilly, VA. I had a pretty good reasonable sales person who took everything that I was looking for and attempted to locate a vehicle for me since they didnt have one on their lot. I worked with them for several weeks and they did find a truck matching what I was looking for. I brought my wife with me to the dealership, and we worked the numbers on the truck. They had sent a message to the other dealership inquiring about trading their vehicle for the located one. When it came down to numbers, they offered a discount called TBFL of $1400 and $600 in rebates. I had not purchased a truck before, but know that there should have been a little bit bigger discount and the FORD website had larger rebates. I knew i would be giving some up since i would not be using FORD credit financing. So, long story short they were not able to get the vehicle from the other dealer. I went back and forth for weeks to this dealership in an attempt to buy a truck, with the options that I needed and wanted. I just happened to be in the Springfield area and saw Sheehy Ford of Springfield. Not wanting to spend another 3 hours,, i decided to call and speak to a sales person. I was greeted by Michael Anderson on the phone who was sympathetic to my frustration on finding a vehicle and he was willing to try and search as well. I think that he really wanted me as a customer, and i was happy to have someone who didnt wanna just waist my time. Michael was able to take the information I gave him, and within 45 min,, called me back. They actually had the truck on their lot. I decided that it was worth my time to go in an look at the truck. When there, yes it had exactly everything that I requested. EVERYTHING i requested! So, since i didnt want to pass up on the opportunity, i decided to work some numbers with them. To my surprise, the discount from Sheehy Ford in Springfield was $5500 and the rebates were $1850. Talk about a huge change in price as compared to Ted Britt in Chantilly. For sure, Michael Anderson and Sheehy Ford of Springfield wanted to earn my business. I explained that I had my own financing and that I would need a purchase order to be able to send to my bank for the loan. They provided the information, and 2 days later, I brought them a check for the vehicle. While in the finance office, they also were able to discount a service agreement, 7 year extended warranty, and wheel and tire warranty, which is important when you drive and park in the NOVA/DC area. Overall, Michael and the team at Sheehy Ford of Springfield wanted to earn my business. They wanted a customer for life,, which is what they have now. I feel insulted by Ted Britt Ford of Chantilly, and will be leaving a review for them as well. I want to personally thank Michael Anderson, the Sales Manager, the Finance Woman, and all the rest of the Sheehy team for making this the best vehicle buying experience.
Abysmal service. Go in for an oil change guaranteed 5 hour wait. Management simply does not care about you. DO NOT get VIP package or any service plan. It sounds great. But you will waste your life waiting. Also they provide no shuttle service (maybe if you live within walking distance they may acquiesce). Disaster. Considering my Ford has had several issues in first three years. I’ve wasted a ton of time here. Truly truly a disaster of an organization
Although we werent able to find something that fit, our salesperson, Max, was awesome. We test drove a car and he was personable the entire time. He wasnt pushy or cold like a lot of car salesmen can be. I wish we could have made a deal work, because my husband and I really enjoyed his demeanor.
I’ve been going to Sheehy Ford Springfield since 2012 when I purchased my Focus. I love the service and commitment to excellence that I always receive when I come here. On March 19, I went in for something super simple and Mike Best was lifesaver!!! Not only did he show me which brake light bulb was out, but he also helped me to purchase the part and changed it on the spot. Mike Best gave me a basic lesson on the lights and future services, which was super helpful and unexpected! If you have a Ford, take it here - you won’t be disappointed!
Great place . I already write review on Yelp for this business before . They were quick with getting new keys for my Ford box truck .Now i come back to them again to buy a ford F-150 . I were lucky to work with Minho, our transaction went were quick and smooth . After test drive i felt that this car for me . On the morning of July 23 2021, I went online to this dealerships website to see if they were buying cars without a trade. Their website indicated they were, so I proceeded with their We Buy Cars link.After accurately answering all the questions about my car, it displayed a Trade-in Value of $30,887. The follow-up email showed the lower range was $28,460. So a few hours later after multiple texts and calls from a salesman named Min, I took my car in.They offered me $25,000 for my car! The excuse was that the market is really changing. I asked how it changed since this morning?! The manager came over saying the same thing and there was no way they were honoring the price range they emailed to me. He claimed that was just KBB value. I told him it showed trade-in value and he admitted maybe it shouldnt have shown that figure.This dealership clearly wasnt acting in good faith by offering me $3,460 LESS THAN the lower price range they email to me! They wasted my time and insulted my intelligence. As a mature woman I have learned to be cautious when dealing with car salesmen - for good reason. But the blatant show of a lack of integrity by this dealership, is a real low. I had a horrible experience and would NEVER advise anyone to go to this dealership!
I’m so grateful for the service department at Ford Sheehy. Mike Best is the most helpful and is possibly the kindest service consultant I’ve dealt with here or anywhere for that matter. He helped me get my tire fixed and understood my time restraint and for that I’m very appreciative! His customer service skills are top notch! This place is lucky to have someone like Mike. Terrible experience with the service department. They dont care about your car or the customer just or your time. All they care about is the money they will charge you. Rude mechanics full of attitude. My car was there for 3 days and nothing was done. I took it back and they wanted to charge me more to fix something that was supposed to be fixed already. DO NOT trust the service department and avoid going there if possible.

I could write a long review for the list off issues, but the service department is lacking in a lot of areas. Customer service, efficiency and communication. From a simple oil change and tire rotation please see the lug nut picture as to how we got the truck back - should tell you the quality of service that we received.Ive been told there is new management in the service department so maybe in months time itll be better, but as of now spent the extra time and visit a better dealership. Similar to a lot of other 1-star reviews. I have, reluctantly, been coming here for a few years now. My most recent “VIP” service was for an oil change and tire rotation. Just like every other time. On average, and with being the first appointment of the day, it takes around two hours to complete, sometimes more than that. Each time, however, a service rep will come out and tell me I need to change my air filter, cabin filter, and list off other services like “oil additives, oil flush” and so on. I happen to change my air filter after every oil change and cabin air filter every other. They tell me it costs $99 to change the air filter. Anyway, after about two hours has passed, the service rep (with the arm full of tattoos) tells me that every single one of my lug nuts is “swollen” and that they couldn’t do the tire rotation. So, in 5,000 miles my lug nuts went from fine to unserviceable. Ok. Then, proceeds to tell horror stories of when he work at Toyota and Honda and saw it all the time. To top it all off, he put on my service paper work that the tire rotation was completed, after telling me they didn’t do it. AND subtracted about 8,000 miles from my odometer. Sadly, I will continue to come here, as a VIP oil change is free for me. If you can avoid Sheehy Ford of Springfield, do yourself a favor, save time, and go elsewhere. Certainly won’t be purchasing brand new vehicles from here anymore.

The service department needs a serious overhaul. The employees are overworked. They need more help working with customers and managing work orders. Customers who create an appt should be put first over people who just come in without one. I had created an appt for an oil change two days prior and when I came in I was told it would take 3 hours because it was so busy. One service rep blamed the schedule on a communication issue with there scheduling service that went down over the weekend but that didnt make sense since I scheduled my service appt after that outage on a Tuesday. Another rep worked with me to reschedule on the weekend and also gave me his business card so I can contact him when I got there. My service appt still took over 2 hrs since my vehicle was moved to a parking spot for over an hour until I asked about the work status. Again your service reps are professional and very courteous but they need more help. Maybe the problem lies with your mechanics. I dont know. They may be overworked too. In short the dealership is taking on too much work for itself and providing mediocre service to its customers.
Got the new Ford Bronco, and love it!. Maxxx Manu was easy to work with, and was flexible with my schedule, which can be hectic at times. No pressure and felt everyone was respectful. The finance lady did a great job with my title transfer and setting up the paperwork! Kudos! This review is for sale department, no experience with the service department yet.

We purchased a 2020 Ford Escape on March 6, 2020. Minho Kong was so helpful! We were looking for the right suv to accommodate our growing family as we have a baby now. He showed us all the great features, let us try the car seat, test drive, and got us a good price given our budget. He even helped install the car seat when we were about to leave. Customer service is so bad. I went there to sell my car and salesperson treated me like I was desperate for money and offered low ball. I said to this guy, I had a better offer and he didn’t believe it. So he called to the dealer to confirm that the offer that I had was true 😳😳😳
I had bought a car on line everything went good till after I picked up the car. The sales men would not return my multiple emails for a part that was missing from the car. They had originally told me that on used cars sometimes parts are missing. This car was over 33 thousand dollars and on top of there blue book profit they charged me another $799.00 processing fee. Not very happy with there disregard of the customer after the sale.Be sure you check the car for 6issing parts before you pay them.Disappointed

They cant answer simple questions . If you ask them if your car is going to be ready they cant give you a answer . They dont even try to help .
I brought my 2018 Ford Eco Sport in for an issue while still under warranty. the Advisor called me initially to let me know they could not recreate the issue. I left it overnight to feel it out...they apparently did a software update and gave me the car back. It is now worse and when I call for loaner or appointment, I am ignored by my Advisor or told a loaner is at least a month out. I need to fix it sooner since I am the one paying the payment and driving it everyday. I called 2 other dealers and loaner appointments are 2 weeks away so I will now wait 2 weeks and drive 40 minutes during rush hour to Sterling to try and figure out the issue. Please do not contact me, I just feel this should be something customers should be aware of.

Ten stars. Ten. I brought my vehicle here to be repaired after it began frequently breaking down shortly after I had purchased it from a different (and extremely difficult and evasive) dealership. I’d simply grown tired of trying to get answers from a place I knew I just could not trust. My husband also has a Ford and had been continuously raving about his Sheehy service experiences, so after the fourth breakdown in under two months, I brought my car to Sheehy, but more importantly, to Aimee Depugh. This has got to be the best car servicing experience I have ever had. She and Ally patiently listened as I explained the whole story detailing my nightmare series of breakdowns and then immediately got to work trying to figure out the correct diagnosis. I was blown away by their patience, kindness, and empathy for my situation. Long story short, they eventually determine that my coolant temperature sensor was bad, causing the engine to falsely read that it was overheating and thus shutting the car down and triggering the check engine light. This is where I begin to internally panic, as I realize I will need to leave my car there, Uber home, and figure out a way to get to work throughout the weekend. Without prompting, Aimee offers me a loner vehicle, but then realizes they are out of loners, so places a phone call to a nearby rental agency, where she rents me a car and has me shuttled there!!!!!! Seriously?! I’d never been here before and these people owed me nothing. I hadn’t even purchased my vehicle from them! Absolutely incredible customer service. In addition, Aimee kept me informed throughout the entire process and gave me a beautiful loner vehicle full of gas as soon as it was available. She even suggested I keep it an additional day just so they could test drive my vehicle a bit further just to make absolute sure they’d fully repaired it and that my temp needle stayed put under different conditions throughout the day. Fabulous. And they didn’t charge me for labor. Unbelievable. I cannot thank Aimee, Ally, Tabitha, and Erica enough. Absolutely lovely humans, the lot of them. Aimee is someone who is extremely knowledgeable AND patient AND kind AND genuinely wants to take care of her customers. Thank you so much!!!! It means everything that I can finally trust my vehicle. You guys are the BEST.

He turned a few negative experiences into a really positive one, including a negative experience from an affiliate dealership. Minh demonstrated first class service by listening to my needs, paying attention to details and providing a stellar level of communication. Was planning on buying had my financial company working on loan. Even had the bill of sale sent to the loan company. As I was ready to make a 2 1/2 hr trip to sign papers. I was told too wait because they had someone coming in to look at the vehicle. My salesman told me it was a manger over his head. So I would need to wait to see if someone else bought first. Was very unhappy told them to forgot it.
Some great, but some very terrible employees. Went in to look at some of their trucks a few weeks ago. One of the salesman was fantastic, very nice, and explained everything well. He handed us off to another salesman because he need to talk to another customer. The next salesman was the rudest possible person Ive met; very short with responses, self-centered, and disagreed with every statement we made about the vehicle we were interested in. He topped it off with Why look online when you have me? as we were about to leave. Even if I buy a Ford, there is no chance it will be from here. Poor poor poor customer service.
Hands down my favorite car dealership. My first ever vehicle purchase (Ford fusion 2016) was from salesman, Michael Anderson. Everything in this transaction was smooth and easy because of him. Michael is so down to earth and wanted the best pick for me and not just the profit from his side. With the credit score I had, he landed the same car that is still running smooth today. Aside from Michael, everytime I visiting the Springfield shop for a oil check or anything, the workers take time check on me and my experiences on the vehicle. And by the time im enjoying my 2nd coffee in the waiting room- theyre all done. Id recommend this place to anyone!
I took my car to get serviced 2 weeks ago and when I received it back, it had 2 huge scratches on the side door that were not there before. I told one of the service representatives and she called the manager Bob to check it out. He saw it and said that he was going to check the camera footage of my car arriving at the dealership to check my claim. The main manager of the dealership contacted me personally after awhile and he set it up for my car to be taken and get fixed. As a customer I appreciate that they rectified the situation.

I purchased a vehicle from Sheehy Ford Springfield yesterday. I first went in on Tuesday, and had Minhaj help me find a vehicle that meet both my transportation and financial needs. Not pushy at all, very very matter of fact and practical. He had great knowledge of the vehicle and is very patient. I had the Manager Whitney help me with my trade in and financing and he was great and not pushy. I mention pushy a lot becuase that has been my past experience with previous dealerships. Sarah was my finance person, she was lovely and fast! I was out in 30 minutes. Great experience and love my Car! Also, the dealership was clean and adheres to Covid safety requirements. Very important to me since I am not eligible for a vaccine yet. I highly recommend this dealership. They have a great line of new and pre-owned vehicles.
Blanco was truly one of the best salesman that I have worked with. He was very understanding of what I was looking for and he ensured that my buying experience was hasel free. Yesterday me and my husband eduardo went to sheehy Ford to look around for a potential car and we weren’t sure we would walk away with something but are sales guy Mazzaro Blanco was excellent and professional and got us into something we’re really happy with!!! He was really patient with us especially cause I play hard ball but he got the deal done and we’re happy!!! I would recommend sheehy to anyone!!!
Had a service appointment 😌 had the Sheehy IVIP SERVICE however it dint feel the vipMore like a catle drive this is my second time in Sheehy Ford of Springfield when you encounter in service department it set the mood swings already maybe it depends on time or day but they should think them self as Ambassadors they are the first to interact with the customer i must need some retraining in customers service 😀 with a smile I think Sheehy forgot no customers no service..Requested car to be washed didnt happen disappointing in that service manager Aimee she should learn better customers service and understand follow up with a customer as u promised and fail to do so will go along way and not have the customer follow up with youAnother Emplyee is Tabitha in Cashier explain you the proces quite well 😉 5 Star 🌟 to her.
Sent my husband there for an oil change on our Escape and he came home with a new Mustang. I was upset, but upon meeting the salesman I can truly say that he earned our business. Even after learning that my husband was only there for service, Mazaro still put in the effort and spent time showing my husband the car he’s wanted since childhood.After selling us the Mustang, Mazaro stayed and waited for Alex to finish and even drove the Escape so we didn’t need to come back for the 2nd car. Today he called just to say happy birthday to our 6 year old. If you want a great buying experience with a sincere salesman that cares, look for Mazaro.
Terrible service department. Avoid this dealership for any kind of service. You wont get a return phone call, you wont get a quote, and after talking to the manager, I still never got anything she promised. I was literally trying to give them money to fix my car and couldnt get any customer service.
I’ve been going back and forth and finally decided to do a review. A year ago my car broke down and I had it towed here. They told me they couldn’t look at it till Monday but helped me out with a rental down the street. So that was nice. I had it for a week because I had to drive back to Michigan. Well I decided to trade in my car and get a new one. When I drove back down to sign everything I told my sales man and Finacing guy that my father works for Ford and I get the discount. There reply was that what they were running was better than the employee discount. They had me in a tough spot and they knew that. Horrible people

Ford dealership in Springfield is exceptional. I particularly dealt with Tina. I believe she is the one you see when you have a heavy duty vehicle. First purchase was a great experience. Ive been using the maintenance package i purchased. This will be the second time. Tina allows a personal touch to the experience. Anytime i need service, i text her. She gets back to me without dropping the ball. My recent experience is why i am leaving a review. Dropped my vehicle off. She was pleasant and kept me posted in duration. July 8, I went for my routine VIP oil change and was greeted friendly and service fast. My visit was under 2 hours. When their car wash was backed up, they offered me a free car wash at a nearby car wash instead of waiting. This was my 1st visit and the staff was great and professionally. A++++ I will definitely be back. I normally visit Sheehy Marlow Heights (where I purchased my vehicle) for the same service and would wait 5 hours WITHOUT my VIP carwash. On my last visit at Marlow Heights location while my car was being service someone stole something out my car so I decided to visit a different location even though its out of my state. Thank you Sheehy Springfield!
My salesperson Maxx was awesome. He was very nice and attentive. However, I did have two issues with the purchase of my 2020 Ranger. The first was with the amount given for my trade-in. Instead of giving me anything close to even the average Kelley Blue Book amount, The sales manager gave me some speech about how the market wasnt dictating the amount stated in Kelley. He also told me that they wouldnt be able to make any money off my trade after they spent the money to prepare it and advertise it. I have purchased many vehicles in my lifetime. One thing I am certain of is that the trade-in rarely stays on the dealership lot. Im sure my trade-in was sold at auction or to a wholesaler. In any event, I dont buy the explanation. In fact, I was ready to leave and not purchase the Ranger before my salesman said they could probably beat the loan rate of the pre-approved loan I came in with. That kept me in the game. The second issue I have is that the truck that I bought had to be brought to the dealership a couple of days later. To my surprise, the brand new truck already had 1,200 miles on it. My issue with this is that I now have 1,200 miles less on my warranty. I dont know the reason, but suspect that the truck was being used somewhere else as a staff members drive around vehicle. No explanation was given as to where it came from, The other suspicious thing now that I think of it is that the truck only had one key. I did go in a week later after reminding the dealership about the one key to have another made. Sorry, just a little shady in my estimation.

I just bought a beautiful f150 from Sheehy. I worked with Maxx, he was fantastic and made it an easy and comfortable process. I also worked with Lance who is a down to earth guy who gave me all the facts that I needed to know. Finally, I worked with Tina F with financing and she was wonderful and answered all of my questions! They were a great team that wasn’t looking to rip you off.
I wanted to thank Min and Sarah for making my purchase a wonderful experience. I had been to some dealers and havent had the best of luck. They both answered all my and my Moms questions about the car. I will be sending my family and friends to see them when theyre in the market.
Absolutely worst customer service in the maintenance department. I will never go back to this dealership again.
The service dept is horrible. I called three times to get a price on service and was put on hold twice and both times after 10 mins was hung up on. I called the next day and the two different advisors I spoke to were clueless on vehicle repairs. I emailed the director twice but never got a response. Shop elsewhere for your car needs.
