Nice people, but incredibly understaffed. I waited 3 hours for 2 new tires. I didnt realize it until I got home, but they also did not rotate my tires like I asked them too and I still got charged.
I had to go in and change my battery but in the middle of the process they broke a piece off that went to my negative terminal. Wish they did not inform me so that broken piece which led to a faulty alternator $350. and then I had to pay out-of-pocket expenses for the parts they broke. $275 for the battery temperature sensor that they broke.
I ordered a tire they did not have in stock, went in to my appointment, and the tire was never ordered. There was no manager on duty meaning I have to wait until tomorrow to order the tire if I choose to go through this Walmart again (I won’t). This isn’t the first time something like this has happened here.The person at the front desk was extremely kind and it wasn’t his fault at all. He had a long beard and slicked back hair. Maybe he should be the manager instead.
Walmart generally has the best prices. They generall do a decent job, but not the place to go for expertise.
Very nice and helpful staff! I had a blowout and needed my car to be towed. Make sure you call them before going to verify they have the right tire for your vehicle.
So I’ll never go back to this wal mart auto center, I bought a new tire, the guy scuffed the tire against my white car, 2 of my lug nuts had to be replaced because they rounded them off, I paid for disposal and the guy placed the dirty tire in my back leather seats, 2 hours to change one tire and there was no other customers in the auto center

Worst experience ever. They told me it would be a 20-30 minute wait for my car to be inspected. Over three hours later, they finally got my car in and it took them over 45 mins just to do the initial inspection. After they were done, they didnt inform me. I had to go up to the counter (after waiting 15 mins for someone to actually get to the counter) and ask if my car was ready. After telling me that it wasnt ready yet, I asked why, and they said they didnt know. At this point it had already been pulled out of the garage and I was looking at the keys and inspection report on the counter. I paid for my report, and they didnt even tell me if my car had passed it not. When they told me why it didnt pass inspection, I was shocked at the reasoning. I then went to an auto shop around the corner and told them what happened, they looked at it and said there was absolutely no safety issue. Im very upset and disappointed with how this went. I will not be going back.
Quick, efficient service. Staff very knowledgeable about what my vehicle needed. And it is very difficult to beat Walmart prices. Plus, Walmart doesnt try to sell me things I dont need. I cant say that about all of Walmarts competitors.
Ive had my oil changed here 3 or 4 times now and every time the staff is friendly and gets the work done pretty quickly. I have noticed a bunch of customers being incredibly rude toward the staff though. Ive also noticed a lot of one star reviews on here. Must just be the entitled people living in North Springfield though because Ive never had a problem.
The customer service at this location is not very good. The shelves were completely in the auto care center. Then the service Tech said they had no wheel weights... kinda concerning considering they have to have the different weights for all kinds of wheels. He also mentioned the balance machine is never calibrated correctly. Pay attention to the work being done on your vehicle.
Usually people are nice and the pricing is great. One downside I had that took a star off was me servicing my car for oil change. I pulled out and my tire was flat. I figure maybe bad luck but on the report they marked they had checked my tires and the pressure was okay. Not sure how thats possible but either way I pulled back in and had tire replaced. Ive been here a few other times with no issue.
The folks were very nice. They did as I asked and told me about a couple of things but were at no time pushy. Prices were great too. My only complaint is that there was a big greasy handprint on my door, grease on the inside on the interior and both fenders. Steering wheel too. Gross.
Arrived at 7:45 for an oil change and tire rotation! The service was really bad! Waiting more than 2 hours! Never again I will bring to do the service here! I dont recommended this site to nobody! The workers really unprofessional! Dont bring your car to this Walmart auto care! Go to different shop to do your oil or tire rotation!This site is a rubbish service!
Took over 2 hours for them to patch a tire. One of the workers went over to the supervisor and said, “Can you go out there and talk to them (other workers)? All they want to do is stand around and not do the things they need do.” Would definitely not recommend this place.
For the second time I have had to wait an exceptionally long time. I was told the car inspector was leaving for an hour break when I got there. Ok an hour,long but I decided to wait. An hour and a half later the guy finally comes back from break. App6they could take longer breaks. Thats fine, but I was not informed of this. I would have come back later rather than waste my time. I will never use this walmart auto center again. I also dont recommend anyone does unless you have hours to waste.
The CSR rep was amazingly patient helping people & defusing hostile customers. I was truly amazed w/ his patience & his ability to impart understanding to overly raught people. Allowing them to leave in a better state of mind.

This place is always covered up with work.If you have a few hours to kill good place to get tires or battery or even a oil change but I dont like waiting that long maybe an hour or so but 4 hours? I cant shop that long

Carried in own tires to have mounted. Opened at 7am big pluss for me. Took them 30 min . paid 10 a tire for mount . that is standard price but it was 12 dollars a tire to ballance. That seemed a bit high. Over all standard tire store experience.
Arrived to get a new battery. Told me which battery I needed. 30 minutes later - we dont have that battery but if you want to go across town and pick one up we will put it in.

I usually get my oil changed at another shop but I was way overdue so I thought Id give this a try. It was a Sunday and they didnt look Maybe that should have told me something. After this experience they might want to rethink the name Express.I drove up waited at the bay nobody came out I went inside he told me I needed to wait in my car. I waited and waited while technicians walked by and just stared at me. Finally I made eye contact with one of them and he came up and said this other guy was the only one who could check me in, so I waited a little bit longer than the guy comes up and tells me theyre short on technicians today. I asked if he thought he could have me out in 30 to 45 minutes and he said I doubt it. There was only one other car in the bay. I said thanks but Ill have to try it again another time. There wont be another time Ill be going back to my other guy.
HORRIBLE = Service SHOP MANAGER SCREAMED AT ME.HE HAD NO CLUE WHAT HE WAS DOING ON A TIRE VALVE STEM Change Out.The SERVICE DEPARTMENT MANAGER had to do the work after I complained to the STORE MANAGER.I now UNDERSTAND why the customer service ratings are so terribly low.BE VERY CAREFUL & CHECK THEIR WORK.IT WILL BE SOME TIME BEFORE I GO BACK.NOTE:They have the lowest customer service ratings of all the Walmarts in Springfield. MO.I would have given a ZERO STAR rating, but, you are forced to give a single star as the lowest rating possible.
Hahaha. Waited like an hour and a half to do a simple oil change and then pop my hood a few days later cause something sounded off... the dumb***es couldnt be bothered to even put my oil cap back on. Had to go to a scrapyard to find one.
Went to the TLE counter to talk about getting an oil change. Young lady said the I needed to go outside and talk to Brenda. Went on to state that Brenda is the only one that can write up my oil change ticket. That if she tried to do it Brenda would get mad.So, outside I went... Walked all the way around TLE, no Brenda. Took 10 minutes of looking around and having all other TLE employees avoid eye contact when I looked their way, to be done. Unsafe to walk into the bays, so Id have to yell to get assistance.Very frustrating lack of customer service. Even to be asked what/who I was obviously looking for would have changed the experience.Wont return.

And was a little curious on seeing what other people had to say about this place,., to see if it was just me, or if they where just having a bad day, or what....so, looking at these reviews... it seems that they are consistently have bad days... and giving other people some of that bad day in return..........I am sorry for/to the people that had gone there and also had a horrible experienced....I so wish I would have came across these reviews first.......... so if you are reading this to check the reviews..THEY SUCK...... and if youve just been there...SORRY...
Went in to have new tires mounted left with a gas leak that cost me just short of 900.00. They wouldnt even come out to the parking lot to look at the van. Said a manager would call me Friday, 2 weeks and waiting. Dont go to Wal-Mart it will cost you more when you ate forced to go to a real shop to fix what they break
We needed a tire on our way back to Texas & they said it would take 3 hours to get one put on
They stripped my oil cap. Put the wrong oil filter on and stripped my oil drain plug!! Do NOT TRUST THEM
Was here today 3/17/19 it took them 2 hours to change a single tire. From 5-7. Will not be going here again.

Horrible and worst service i have ever recived. So unprofessional. I came to have 2 new tires but on and they ended up putting 4 new tires on after my car was there for 8 hours. I had dropped it off. Came back and after there screw up i had to wait another 2 hours for them to try and fix there mistakes. Very many other customers were upset at the staff. They had all messed up on theres to. Now a week later i am back because they forgot to put my tire emblems back on ALL my tires. So save your self a headache and DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE.
They were out of castor oil. And the Lights Went Out. Had a hard time getting out of the building.
