Best experience I have had at a bridal salon! We didn’t pay for any of the fancy packages (although if I went back, I definitely would) and we were still treated like queens. The boutique is small, very clean, with a larger selection of dresses than I expected. I had a one on one appointment with the shop owner. She was extremely knowledgeable about each dress and the alterations that would be made. She made me feel comfortable and confident in every gown! The dress and veil selection is unique, and you will definitely find something there that no other bride will have!

I absolutely loved my experience with Hannah. She made it a very special day of finding my dream dress with my mom and sister. Her selection of dresses are so dreamy and I was so fortunate to fall in love with one of the off-the-rack dresses. I would recommend 1000% that any bride, near or far, go to Springfield and visit Hannah and her store.

Very rude people work here. If you are willing to take a chance on your wedding give it a shot or opt for a more reputable place for your wedding dress.

I shopped at 2 or 3 other places and this was 110% the best experience I had. She made sure that I didnt feel rushed even though we only had an hour and answered all questions my friends and family had. I still got to try on quite a few dresses and even found my one! She read my face like a book and knew that all the others werent me. She knew by the way my face lit up that I found my one. Its such a relief that I found it and Im so happy that I could find it with Hannah.

I went dress shopping at three different places and The Dress showed a superior customer service experience. It is apparent that the owner and staff have produced a very intentional experience for brides and their family. (e.g., they had a robe and specific garments to safeguard brides privacy while changing into various dresses). I worked with a young woman named Cassie who was both warm and personal. I highly recommend The Dress for any bride who wants a tailored experience shopping for her dress.

This bridal boutique is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been in. From the minute you step into the door till the moment you leave, you experience a beautiful bridal aesthetic. Literally the store smells amazing, I kept raving about the smell. The consultants and owner were so kind and helpful our entire time. Every dress they have is beautiful. I found literally my dream dress, and I can’t wait to walk down the isle in it!

I went to The Dress after having little luck at other Bridal Boutiques and was met immediately with Debra. She was kind, professional, and personable. I found three dresses that I absolutely loved and was convinced one of these three would be my wedding dress. While I was waiting for my second appointment (so mom and sister could be in attendance as I found my dress), I--somewhat unexpectedly--found my dress elsewhere and called to cancel my appointment with 15 minutes notice. Debra immediately congratulated me and expressed her happiness that I found my dress. She was not upset with me or rude about the short-notice cancellation. Rather, she reminded me of their in-house seamstress if I needed any help with alterations. Even though I didnt purchase my wedding here, I still HIGHLY recommend The Dress. Thank you Debra, for being an awesome human being. Your kind heartedness is still appreciated!

I had made an appointment with them; they were my first pick to shop for my wedding dress. I had heard good things so I was excited. The consultant (if you can call her that) asked me a few questions about my style and my budget. She then proceeds to show me two small racks of dresses. She literally told me a little bit of info about the sections and then just left me there. All the dresses that were on display were 2-3x my budget that I told her about, she didn’t help me find anything in my budget or my style at all. She also wouldn’t allow me to have my bridesmaids or my mom who was with me try on dresses at all and told me they were not allowed to touch anything, “only point at things”. They were not allowed to even assist me in getting the dress on. I felt very uncomfortable like I was just left to figure everything out on my own, she also was aware that it was my first time shopping for a dress so this was all brand new toMe. What’s the point of being a “consultant” if you’re not going to consult the bride to be on a very important moment? I left and went to Gracie’s Bridal where they were more than happy enough to actually help me find what I was looking for. Would not recommend The Dress to anyone.

I had great experience. Hannah was amazing a truthful and I trusted her from the start. She didn’t waste anytime by putting me in dresses I didn’t like. She made me feel comfortable and confident. I’m definitely going to send people to this shop.

I did not buy a dress here myself, just attending an appointment with a friend of mine. As many other people have stated, the owner and the employees are exceptionally rude. One girl in particular seemed somewhat friendly, but also very intimidated by the owner, who routinely under-minded her or barked orders at her. When my friends mother was simply looking at the rack of dresses, the owner yelled out Youre not allowed to touch the dresses! Oh, also my friend had 15 minutes left in her appointment, but we were told there was not enough time to try on anymore dresses. We promptly went to another bridal shop (Gracies Bridal), and had a FANTASTIC experience. I recently got engaged, and I will NOT be going to The Dress.

Very friendly staff and beautiful dress! However- after my dress was out for 3 months for alterations, it came back and barely ANYTHING that needed altering had been altered! The straps were falling off my shoulders by at least 5 inches, had not been shortened in length at all. The whole top of the dress was gaping at least 3 sizes too large, had not been altered at all. The waste was possibly altered slightly, but was still 3 sizes too large. The hem had not been altered AT ALL, and was still just as long as when I went in 3 months ago to try it on. They only have one day in the week to come in for final alterations, so I had to take my dress somewhere else, which is now going to cost me $205 additional because there was SO much additional alterations needing to be done! Im not sure what they were doing with my dress for the past 3 months, but I guarantee it wasnt being altered. It is frustrating I paid this amount for a wedding dress to be fitted for me, had it sent away for 3 MONTHS to be taken care of, then returned the exact same as when I tried it on, UNALTERED.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience here! Came to this shop after another rather disappointing appointment, where I found the dress I wanted but 6 sizes too big! and I was Greeted very warmly by the attendant (for the life of me I can’t remember her name but she called me sweetheart at least 10 times. It was so adorable!) I unfortunately could not find a dress here I liked as much as the one I had tried on at the other shop, but she was willing to help me find the EXACT dress I wanted even if it meant sending me to a different boutique! She gave us great advice and helped us in finding the perfect dress. Would recommend for anyone trying to have a special experience! If I could have bought my dress here I absolutely would have!

I read a lot of reviews and can only comment on my experience, which was amazing! Sarah was my consultant and she was extremely helpful. I tried on probably 7 dresses and liked all of them. I ended up only choosing one, of course! The prices were great, the selection was plentiful, and the staff was exceptional. My wedding is in September and I cannot wait to wear my dress!

We won both of our civil court hearings against The Dress.Since making our initial post about Hannah Diemer aka Hannah Moreno and The Dress, we have been contacted by multiple individuals who have had to file civil suits or are considering legal action against this business and/or owner. I wasn’t even going to bother making this post, but those interactions have convinced me to do so in the hopes that others might avoid such entanglements.Long story short - my dress disappeared within the consignment contract period. I inquired about it before the contract ended and was given various evolving stories about what happened to it, and my contract was not honored. The courts decided in our favor.The store owner (Hannah) delayed the case, appealed, complained to the judge that my husband’s online review was unfairly hurting her business, and threatened to accuse us of defamation if we spoke about the case. The facts of the case are public information available on MO Casenet.DM me if you would like to see the evidence we brought to court, which includes photos, our recorded phone conversation with Hannah, receipts, contract, and email correspondence.Before you enter into a contract with any person or business, it’s a good idea to search the business name and the various legal names of the owner on your state’s Casenet database to see if they are frequently engaged in legal battles.

I had a wonderful experience finding my wedding dress at this boutique! The girl that helped me out the whole time was not only kind and gentle through a process that can be overwhelming, she also encouraged me to try on styles that I hadn’t thought about before! I ended up choosing a dress that I wouldn’t have in the first place! Both women that were there that day were helpful, fun and so encouraging! And they had a wide range of dresses to choose from, so you can’t go wrong finding a style that suits you there!

I’ll start off by saying that the lady that helped me try on dresses was very sweet, hints the reason for 2 stars instead of 1. My overall experience was poor from the start. I made an appointment in advance and was treated as if the staff did not have the time or the day for me. There were several instances where I was given a back seat to other customers. For example, another staff member came into my dressing room in the middle of me trying on the first dress to ask if the lady that was helping me could go take pictures for another customer. Not to mention, I overheard one of the staff members complain and apologize to another customer about suddenly being overcrowded when my group and I began looking over the dresses after we were told that we could. It was so bad that no one was there to help me out of the last dress that I tried on. My sister ended up helping me out of it. I was left high and dry. After about 5-10 minutes of no staff helping me or asking me which dresses I liked, I left. Perhaps they overbooked appointments for the day or did a poor job managing their appointment times, either way, there was no excuse for the way that I was treated. I hope that other customers have and/or will have a better experience than I did.

Beautiful dresses. Great prices. Great service and even better alterations. Their alterations person can work magic!Just be warned if you decide to list your dress as a consignment after the wedding. If you dont renew your listing on the day it expires you will forfeit your dress. They will not contact you and tell you the consignment needs renewal. The contract doesnt spell that out very clearly so be sure to mark your calendar and call and check on your dress when the consignment period is over. Our dress sold and we didnt even know it.. they then tried to challenge us on the renewal date. Thankfully we had a paperwork trail.

The staff at The Dress is so friendly and accommodating. You feel beautiful as soon as you walk into their store. They have a variety of dresses (new and consignment) for you to try on and shop through! I would highly recommend working with Hannah and her team!

Scheduled an appointment via online. They failed to explain they were not even taking appointments nor did they reach out to cancel the appointment. In fact sent an email and text confirming the appointment the day before. They were condescending and rude. We are all struggling right now but a little professionalism would be appreciated!

Had a wonderful experience here! My consultant, Lauren, was so helpful and actually found the dress I ended up choosing! As I was preparing to leave for another appointment she told me there was one dress she thought I might like and when I tried it on I felt like a bride for the first time. The Dress also has an alterations lady available that can help with any alterations. This is a place that I would recommend to any new bride. I had the best experience selling my dress at The Dress Bridal Boutique. I took my dress in, we ran through the contract, I decided on a selling price and that was it! Raven was very professional and personable and I felt like she was working with me to make a profitable business decision.It is crazy to me that other reviewers are so upset about policies that were CLEARLY written in the contract. Not only could I read them, but Raven made sure to verbally explain them to me. The contract doesnt include anything unreasonable and she definitely isnt trying to take advantage. She even looked up the retail price of the gown online to make sure I was making as much profit as possible.My dress sold in the first month. Thank you, The Dress!

My wife bought her wedding dress through The Dress, and could not have been happier about her experience. She told me that the owner was who helped her and that she made her feel like she was priority number one, and never once pushed her to spend more than her budget. After our wedding, she decided to take her dress back and list it to sell. The owner once again helped her, and this time I was there as well. Raven was very polite and explained everything in the process in great detail. The dress sold quickly, and we had some extra cash in our pockets. I normally dont leave reviews, but seeing these reviews that people are leaving with one star do not reflect this store. We couldnt have been happier with our experience.

Let me first start by saying I have never left a google review for a business before as I am not one to usually complain, but this experience was a joke. My sister and I decided to stop by The Dress yesterday. She had tried to call twice earlier in the day with no answer each time. We were wanting to go in and check out the different styles that they carry and compare prices to other bridal shops in town.When we arrived the door had a sign that said Walk ins Welcome. When we entered we were never welcomed to the store. We were only acknowledged by an employee because we were in their way when looking at a dress. I worked in retail through high school and college so I know that even on the busiest days it does not take much to simply say welcome in.There were two or three employees working the floor with brides who had made an appointment. Rightfully so, they booked their time slot and deserved to be a priority. I had found 3 different dresses I liked and wanted to try on, but was waiting for a dressing room. There are rules posted saying to not pick up the dresses off the rack and to let an associate handle them for you. While waiting for the associate, another bride had picked up one of the dresses I wanted to try on. Whatever she had an appointment.HERES THE KICKER.A blonde haired associate stopped to help me (not Sarah) and I picked out one of the dresses I wanted to try on. She told me she would get me a dressing room ready and put that dress in there for me and let me know when she was done. Well time goes by and I cannot find this girl. Sarah, another associate, was working with another bride and started to help me as well. She was very kind and got me a dressing room. When we went to look for the dress IT WAS GONE.I told Sarah about the other blonde lady and how she was supposed to put it in a room for me. Well here comes the bride this other associate was working with, walking out of her dressing room in the dress that was supposed to be held back for me.I had seen this blonde associate walking around with this bride picking out dresses to wear earlier while I was waiting for my room. We had pulled the dress I wanted out of the rack and set it on display so SHE KNEW this was a dress that she had already told me was going to be in a room for me.To top it all off, the bride who walked out with my dress on LOVED it. It was a used dress too so there was only one in stock. Tell me, what would they have done if we BOTH wanted that dress??? Appointment or not this is absolutely ridiculous and poor business management. I never received an apology or an explanation for the mix up.TO ADD TO THE STORYAs this bride walked out in my dress, Sarah grabbed the other dress I had wanted to try on out of this brides dressing room. It was a dress she had already ruled out. Sarah comes and gets me with the dress in hand and takes me back to the dressing room. According to my sister, this brides family pitched a hissy fit because I had taken one of HER dresses. My sister is sitting on the couch next to this family listening to everything. Apparently the associate, who had just came back to check on me while I was getting dressed, told the family that she told me that the dress was not for me, but for the other bride.Now I wasnt there to hear the conversation, but by this point I was done.The Dress was a horrible experience and I will not be spending my money at such a shady business. BEWARE!!!

I found my dream dress! Beautiful boutique, the staff were wonderful and so helpful, I am VERY impressed! The dresses are all also very reasonably priced!

This place was absolutely amazing. Between the dress selection, the prices of everything, and how great the owner is, theres no way this place deserves any less than the 5 stars. I have been shopping at other bridal shops and this one is far the best one. Everyone else either has too many people that the employees cant help very much or the employees are just flat fake and rude or the dresses are too expensive. I definitely recommend any bride to go here first for her dress cause Im almost positive she wont want to go anywhere else after she meets the people, sees what kind of dress selection they have, and sees the prices. Raven, the owner, is one of the most kindest women and goes above and beyond to help people. I dont see how anyone else could hate this place because my friends and I have had nothing but great experiences every time weve walked through that shop door.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I cant even begin to tell you how awful the owner has treated me. To start I had a good experience she helped me find my dress for my beach elopement. It was a corset back dress. The owner laced the back of it up when I tried the dress on in store. I loved it and purchased it. I picked my dress up two weeks before I left for my elopement. The dresses here are purchased as is. So one would think everything would be exactly the way you purchase it. To my disappointment I am in Florida and my fiancé is about to help me put my dress on for our wedding and we untie the ribbon for the corset that they have undone and tied up to the side. It was TORE to SHREDS right in the middle of the ribbon. I called the owner in tears upset over this. She tells me its not her problem and I must have damaged after I left with it. She said I shouldnt have waited 15 mins before my wedding to look at it. If I purchase something from a business I expect what I purchased. Due to this incident we missed almost our entire ceremony time at sunset on the beach. Its irreplaceable. Its something I cant have back. To be treated like that on my wedding day is disgusting. For the owner to claim she loves making brides dreams come true is far from what I experienced. She didnt even offer a apology. To top it all off, I called this morning to talk to her. She has now changed her story claiming she told me the dress was damaged. Claiming she gave me $99 of because of it. If that were the case I would not have bought it or would have fixed it. My mother, sister and another family member were there and all said she never informed me of this. Clearly since her story has changed she knows she is at fault. I am heart broken over my experience here. To not only never apologize but to try and put blame on me is sad. I hope no other bride every experiences what I did. So thankful that I have such a loving now husband who helped fix it so I could at least get married in it. As for this business I will make sure to worn others not to do business here.

We are currently filing a lawsuit against Hannah Diemer and The Dress. She claims to have lost our dress (while posting pictures of it on Facebook) and offered us 25% of our final value price as compensation. If you look at her Facebook reviews you will see that ours is not the only dress that has disappeared. I strongly recommend against selling through The Dress.

The dress that I bought for around 700 dollars was DIRTY. They didnt even bother to clean it before I bought it. It had stains from the previous owner that apparently had a spray tan. The bottom of the dress was also dirty from it being worn. The owner of the shop didnt even tell me before I took the dress home that they didnt clean it and I got home, emailed Raven (owner) and she didnt make any effort to satisfy my concern for the DIRTY DRESS.

I sold my veil and dress with The Dress. It was very easy. They let me set the price, then they put it all in their showroom. My veil was sold within the first month, I believe. The dress was sold in less than four months. It was way easier than Craigslist. Im actually regretting not buying my dress here initially.

Expensive dresses made with low quality fabrics. Just as expensive as boutiques in dowtown springfield. The fits were never very good no matter what size/type i tried on and many alterations would have had to have been made.

The WORST customer service I have ever dealt with. They basically stole my dress. No communication on when I needed to make a payment to RELIST-- there was no response and they waited to contact me after the fact, so they could TAKE my dress and veil from me. I would not recommend selling your dress with them. I couldnt have had a worse experience.
