I am terribly overdue to give these ladies my highest recommendation. They altered my wedding dress and did a fantastic job. The dress was expensive and beaded, so not an easy job. I was SO pleased with the outcome, and the customer service in general. Plus, it’s fun to shop their lovely, unique boutique while you’re there.

I cant say enough about this place! Wendy made my wedding dress. It was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. The fit and quality were impeccable. All the personal attention from Wendy and her daughter Erin make you feel like family. Wendy also came to the rescue by altering a dress I purchased online for my first dance. It was way too short and Wendy made it perfect. If that is not enough, the boutique has one of a kind treasures.

Took a bridesmaids dress to get altered here and had the absolute best experience. My dress looks perfect and Erin, who did my alterations, was so kind and helpful. Cant recommend enough!

Wendy is a master of her craft. She did alterations for two bridesmaids dresses for me and did so perfectly. Wendy is good company and great conversation and the appointments and fittings are efficient and pleasant. On both occasions I was able to find GORGEOUS fair trade jewelry to go with my gowns that I am still complimented on to this day! It was especially easy to bond with Wendy since we share Rockford roots. Although I’m no longer in the area, I still find myself recommending her services to others. Thank you Wendy!

Wendy does an amazing job at reasonable prices. She saved the day for my daughter and made her dress look amazing on her. Fantastic alteration service. Would give more stars if possible.Plus theres a lovely retail shop you should definitely visit in the Red School Mall.

I was extremely pleased with the alterations by SBW for my Mother of the Groom dress. The dress basically had to be taken in a whole size and had a couple of layers to it. They requested that I come in a couple of times. First for the fitting to take the dress in, then for shortening the dress. The final result was a perfectly fit dress. I was also intrigued by their unique boutique and purchased a couple of items.

Wendy did a phenomenal job of taking up and letting out a bridesmaid dress I needed for wedding. She has a great personality and was very friendly! Not only did she do a phenomenal job, she also worked quickly and had me come in for more than one fitting to make sure the dress was working for me or if any changes needed to be made. I would absolutely recommend her!!

Amazing place! I walked into the store needing an alteration done within 4 days and I had already been turned away by different local shop. This place had my alteration done THE NEXT DAY! I could not have been more pleased with the work that was done. The staff and owner were very personable and professional. I highly recommend!
