Was a great experience, as a first time customer you never kno what to expect. Was presented with great customer service. And being a tire shop we wasnt waiting long at all. The staff is honest and upfront in the way youd would want them to be, will be the only tire shop I will ever go to again just based off of the honesty.

I came in very very close to closing time. I was traveling from out of state when it had started raining. Knowing the tread on my rear tires was pretty grim, I wanted to get my tires rotated so i would not risk hydroplaning. The staff were very considerate and accommodating even so close to the end of the day. I did not have to wait long, and the fee was more than reasonable. They did not try to pressure me into purchasing anything other than what I asked for, which I really appreciate. They will be getting my business in the future.

Took an hour and a half to install 2 tires from time of pulling it in the shop. They were supposed to rotate tires and did not. One new tire had 33 PSI the other has 62 PSI. My aftermarket valve stem caps were not reinstalled and the TPMS was out of order.Edit: I called the store and they were more than happy to correct the issues and got me right in.

One of the worst auto shops I’ve ever been too. It seems like they almost get enjoyment out of wasting your time and regardless of what you bring your vehicle in for they WILL tell you that you need new tires. Shocking I know. Disrespectful, pompous and genuinely lacking in any type of professionalism I would rather take the public transit system than ever use this place for repairs or oil changes again.

These guys have been awesome in my visit for tire maintenance having to due with trouble with sensors. And what we thought was going to be an easy job, turned out to take a few hours of waiting time. They made up for the wait with a free alignment and oil change. And changed all the old sensors with the new free of charge!!! 5/5 stars would highly recommend.

Even with an appointment it took 2 hours to get an oil change and an allignment. Then after getting the car back there were dirty footprints on the floorboards. Dustin who works there has awesome customer service. I didnt mention the wait but he gave me a discount for it and when I showed him the floorboards he cleaned them for me. That made the experience go from a 2 star to a 4 star!

We woke up the morning of our big Florida trip with a flat. Not the ideal way to start a vacation.We planned on leaving at six so we immediately started seeing who was open the earliest. We ended up at a competitor (who opened at 7). They could have cared less about how stressed we were and the urgency to get on the road.We ended up calling the N Glenstone site and we explained to Dustin the situation. He said I can get you in now so head our way.When we arrived the staff was incredibly friendly and got us in and out in a timely manner with a patch on the tire.We are so thankful to the staff at Big O Tire for helping us out in a very stressful situation. I just wanted to say my grandson and I had a wonderful experience at Big O the N Glenstone location. Big Jim that works there was wonderful. The bolt that is used to make adjustments on the front end alignment broke off, and the mechanic had gone for the night. Big Jim went above and beyond what he was required to do and drove us all the way to Fordland because we could not drive the car home. And we had no one to come and pick us up. So incredibly mismanaged. I showed up 10min early for a 9am appointment to learn that the tires I ordered still hadnt been delivered to the location. Its a VERY long story, but 3 hours and 40 minutes later I finally left with my new tires. Im not sure if well ever go back, but if we do it will only be out of necessity.

Completely new staff. I used to be a regular here, but Im never going again. Got charged $65 for an oil change that used to cost $45. Never going back again.

I needed special tires for my motor home - no problem! I needed after market tire pressure monitors - Aaron offered to do the research and find what worked best for my situation. Great customer service!

Had a appointment at 1030. Got there 945. Got out at 1. 20. Truck pulls real hard to right. Took it back at 245 sitting here looking at my truck. All day for alignment. Never again.

Very quick and easy. I had a flat when traveling through Springfield, decided to come here and within 45 minutes, I was back in the road. Honest and fair pricing for the tires, and quick and honest service. Would recommend for their tire changes.

Absolutely amazing service and crew! Fantastic. We are moving from the West coast to the East coast so putting a lot of miles on the truck, towing a full toyhauler to boot. Coming up from a stopover in Branson had issues with the truck and called these guys right away. They took us in immediately and let us drop our trailer and go grab some breakfast. They were so quick and got us safely back on the road faster than I ever expected. Sean was above and beyond great customer service. So glad we happend to look up big o and happen upon this location. I dont live there but if I did this would be my regular shop. Thanks again guys😊

I expected a long wait and it was less of a wait than I’ve had at other places. Still they apologized and Dustin gave great customer service. It’s hard for everyone with such a huge staffing shortage and they did 100% amazing.

This was the worst auto repair shop ever. I got all new tries from them back in February and two of them where defective and popped in the following two months. I got the warranty for free replacement and they still charged me both times. And I had to pay to get the new tire under warranty. They where rude and even though they sold me defective tiers they didn’t care and made me pay full price. It’s very obvious they don’t know what they are doing and all they care about is money.

From the Prochaska family. Although they do great work they over price and change prices. Should have only been $700 but picking truck up today it was nearly $1300. And last time was quoted $2000 but at pickup cost nearly $4000. So although I love that they are easy to find in most large cities they definitely make you pay a hefty bill. So thanks for breaking our bank ever time we think we have things figured out financially for repairs. Good work, abusive labor prices.

Went here for a repair last week and they put a regular valve stem in instead of a monitoring one. Took it back today and they replaced it and made it right. Great business practice

Look they really need to make 0 star options. Got there at 9:45 for my 10a appointment. Got out of there at 12:15. All I had done was an oil change and a patch. No excuse for it to take that long, with an appointment, and their equipment. Im never going back there.

Like many other diesel owners in Springfield, a friend of mine had a diesel truck with gelled fuel lines and filters due to the extreme cold temperatures. He was needing to leave town asap to get back to work in northern Illinois. Every shop in town that works on diesel trucks was totally booked with trucks having the same issues. Aaron got him right in as soon as we could tow it over and did everything he could to get her running as soon as possible and get him back on his way out of town. The service was top notch, responsive and Aaron was very respectful not to charge us or do any more work than was necessary to get the job done. The mechanics were patient, effective and honest the whole way. This is a shop with integrity for sure. Ive never had a bad experience here and Ill surely be back!

This is the only place I would take my truck my I had a bad experience today went in to get tires put on and an alignment my appointment was at 3pm I got the at 2 the truck went in fast but it wasnt done till 6pm which is fine but to top it off after four hour I leave and the truck pulls hard now then when I took it in I dont plan on getting any work done there anymore

Got 2 tires for the front of my car. $70 each. Total. $240? Over a 3 hour wait in the lobby as well?Smh...I would not recommend this location atleast. Let alone not a big advocate of Big O Tires.

I went in for the tire rotation and then left their shop with a vibration in my tires. I returned a couple days later and they tried to balance the tires being that i had no pre-existing issues and there was still a vibration after I left. I returned again for the last time they said and still have a vibration. So they are unwilling to fix an issue now on my vehicle that they caused. They said this is the last time they try to balance the tires. I worked in a service department for 8 years of my life.. and I just did a 750 mile trip from Colorado with absolutely no vibrations, and they did a tire rotation and cant seem to balance tires at this branch.. Extremely disappointed in this shop. Planning to call their corporate headquarters. Maybe another big o has their machines calibrated correctly to properly balance tires. Maybe I got the new technician and not a seasoned tech that knows how to properly balance. Cause I watched the guy balance the tires the first time and he looked like he was having a hard time. Im not one to pick on the new guy, but if you have an issue you caused with a vehicle, maybe put a better technician on it. Just a wild guess. I guess they can afford not taking care of issues they cause on their customer cars and dealing with bad reviews. But im no manager there, and thats why they have poor service and thats why theyre getting a bad review.

Ive been going to Big O Tires for years the main reason is Aaron the manager up there is his customer skills are awesome. Always putting the customer first I take all my personal cars there and I also take my company vehicles up there I only trust Aaron and his team to touch my vehicles

I waited in a very crowded lobby for 2 hours to get an inspection. The paper I got back showed my inspection ended at 11:30am but they didnt bother to come get me until 12:30pm. I failed the inspection but had to ask for details on what was wrong because they wrote down one word on the defective parts area. I felt like the staff was condescending when I know very well whats going on with my car. Took it somewhere else and got it fixed and passed.

I’d recommend Jim at the Big O for any tire needs. Above and beyond every time.

They failed my inspection saying my vehicle meeded new tie rods and ball joints. I had two other mechanics look at it and said there was no play. Someone obviously hadnt met their sales quota this month.

They’re nice talking people. But I wouldn’t let them do anything other than change my tires. Maybe it’s a new staff since I been, but they were super shady on the low. Also I got a oil change that took 6 hours, and when I picked my car up the check engine light was on. I haven’t had one car problem until then. Of course they said it wasn’t their fault, and tried to charge me $1200 to keep it another day to work on something completely irrelevant. They really try to push the loan program on me every purchase too. I finally just took my car somewhere else for services.

Great service! They looked up my daughters account and let us know the tire (completely flat tire) was still under warranty, without us even asking. Turned out it was a simple repair. They had us back on the road in no time, at no cost. Definitely recommend this shop!

Alright so while Ive always had a semi-decent experience with this company in the past I can definitively say that this business has tried to trick me into buying tires I did not need for a high price. I came in with a tire that should have been simple to repair only to find out it was beyond repair and I needed a replacement. Okay sure, thats all fine I guess but then they ALSO took a tire which was broken out of my trunk and replace it with a perfectly good one already on my car in a effort to get me to buy yet another tire. Not gonna lie that is some shady business practices. Time to find a better business that actually cares about their clients and their wallets to go for car repairs.

Great business! Never had any issues at Big O. I bought 4 new tires there last week, and after leaving I noticed a slight shake. I put about 150 miles on, and the shake never left, so I went back to Big O. They checked their machine, said it needed a slight recalibration, then checked my tires again. Left front was off about 3/4 ounce, which they promptly remedied for zero cost.I have taken my vehicles there for service and tires for several years, and have never been disappointed.

Too expensive for tires, dont repair or offer used.

Replaced two tires for us and was handled professionally and politely.

I came in for an oil change on Friday 4/30/2021.Jim at the counter was great!

I called ahead to make sure they had the tires I need, a set of 4. I asked if he needed my info to hold them, I was on my way. He said no, hed do that after I arrived. 15 minutes later when I got there the computers were down. He told me he couldnt do anything for me without the computer. Id have to wait, could be 10 minutes or 2 hours he didnt know. Is he not capable of writing down the tire info? Does he not own a pencil? What did he do before the age of computers?? What a knucklehead!I went home and called another shop in Lebanon, an hour away from me. He was curtious and offered to hold the tires for me, I was glad to make the drive for great employees and service.

The guy at the counter was cool and helpful if a little slow but it was a bit of a wait other then that it was great

I have dealt with Jim Keck on several routine maintenance issues on my work truck. He is very knowledgeable and gives me great advice on things that I should be doing to help keep my vehicle running longer. I would strongly suggest going and seeing Jim at the North Glenstone location. Their prices are extremely competitive.

They broke one of my wheels and broke my lug nut key off in the lug nut and acted like it was my problem. They changed my tires with the wheels still on the car. Not sure if I even want the free oil change

This is the best location to go to, yes they are very busy at times but they make sure to take care of you . They always have a smile on no matter how stressed out they might be. Went to get an alignment on my 2003 passat W8. I picked my vehicle and drove it about 8 miles, highway and in town. Steering shakes now and pulls to the right..They couldnt adjust my rear toe but said it wasnt that bad. Was told tire balance could be the issue but I recently had them balanced..3 weeks out.. I asked what I was paying for since this made it pull. Was told to take it back to where I got it balanced instead of offering to check this since I now have an issue after their services were done..I believe this was very unprofessional and unsafe..I now cannot go over 50 because shake and pull is so bad. One would think they would try what is needed to satisfy the customer. Instead they said they say they did what I paid for and maybe it will fix itself..Thank another Big O..

The personnel were friendly and helpful, but disappointed that it took 45 minutes longer than necessary out of my busy morning because of lack of communication. Mechanics dropped the ball somehow, as additional repairs were approved but not begun for 45-60 minutes. I would come here again, though, as I suspect this is not normal.

They put a tire on my car. Said, I need a tie rod and sway bar. I put this engine in with a friend. It needs no such thing. When I told them no. I can do it. There was resistance on me taking my car home. I inspected the sway bar and tie rod. It was not like they said it was.

I have been to this location quite a few times since they are close to my house. The guys up at the desk are all helpful and seem very nice but Ive been failed twice for inspections are today. The first one on a 2004 STR-4 because he said there was no muffler on it. The exhaust was 100% factory, and if you know the cars, they do not have a muffler from factory. He argued, I took it somewhere else and it passed. Today I took my 2006 Dodge Ram in. They said they could get to it at about 11:30 am. I left too go to lunch with a friend around 11:45 and they hadnt gotten the truck in yet. No big deal. I come back about 12:40ish and the truck is in the shop. I went and set down in the lobby, watched half of a movie on the TV, got up and walked around outside, came back in and say down. About 1:45 came around and finally done, but failed because of a bad wheel bearing. It has never made noise so I went home and jacked it up to test it myself. It moved just enough to feel any slack. Not bad enough to fail, not even if the actual measurement was performed. Ive been there a couple more times and out of the 5 times, Ive had 3 bad experiences, 1 neutral, 1 good. I will plan ahead a little better just to keep from going back.

Great customer service, clean shop and great deals.. I wont go to any other shop but this one in the future. I will make sure to tell everyone i know that this is the place to go for all your tire needs. These guys were great to deal with..

*updated to 4 stars* The people here seem awesome. At first impression, I was excited and thought that I would definitely be back here. I mentioned that I was concerned about how long it would take and I was told about an hour (though they weren’t 100 percent sure). I thought that would be fine because I am supposed to be working and and hour would get me home right around my shift start time. They finally got my car in after an hour and 40 minutes. Which is understandable for a walk in. But I called the previous night to schedule an appointment. At first I was just slightly annoyed but after a couple hours of sitting here, I found that they have a shuttle.... Likewise I could have been home working and just waiting for them to finish my car on their time.Oh yeah, I just needed my oil changed too.Definitely could have done better planning on my part. But this is just my experience there. I may go back but will have to keep in mind that its probably going to be a while.

I work around the corner from this shop and i’ts very convenient to drop my work truck off for Oil Changes, etc and then head to the office. Work is done quickly and thoroughly. Highly recommend

I was on a camping trip from out of state and my van began to give much resistance when attempting to put it in gear. I took it here because I used to live here and have had good experience in the past. Regarding this experience, the guys at Big O were top notch. They spent nearly one hour of their time debugging the codes they scanned and researching. When finally they discovered the exact problem, I decided it was something I could get at the auto store myself and install. I asked what I owe them and they let me go without needing to pay. Fantastic service. By the way, later that day I bought the part and installed it in less than 10 minutes. They were correct on their diagnosis. Thanks Big O. Keep up the good customer service. Oh, in case you are curious, the part was a brake switch. It was malfunctioning and thus making it difficult to force out of park.

The service was fine, but I was shocked that the employees were not wearing masks, even though our town has a mask ordinance in place. Also the employee that drove the car out was not wearing gloves. This lack of care for the safety of the customers and employees was appallingly. We will go somewhere that cares next time.

These guys are great. I got shafted on a couple of used tiresat a different place and was able to get in here and have them swap out my tires with new ones in no time. Big O always treats me well and I would definitely recommend them. Good service on tires and wheels. They also do oild changes, alignments and other suspension services. If you need tires give them a call.

I went to the North Glenstone location to have my car worked on. Cody Jackson was super nice and such great help, he even gave me advice on how to make this the best price and experience for me. They had a giant bin of toys for my daughter to play with which was great! They even had to run to replace a part that wasn’t made correctly! Best part was it didn’t take my whole day away from me being at the shop, 3 hours tops!
