Straight up crack *house* dont go here unless youre one of them. wife was coked up and Styx kept falling onto his table with his eyes slow. We spent 3 hours waiting for him to bring back a printed piece of paper with a design that wasnt even mine he thought was cooler and argued with me about what tattoo I was getting. we have no ink done and were tired of them so we try to leave but they kept $100 for a deposit fee for the work he did. he demands payment before work!!! he spent more time talking about fishing than anything. showing us pictures and his hands were so shaky.

I went in to get my tongue pierced and it went amazing. Called at about 6:30 pm and he was able to get me in at 7:30 pm. Staff was very welcoming and there was no wait time at all. Piercing was quick, sterile, center, and painless. Gave me very clear aftercare instructions. Overall was a great experience. Will go again.

Made a last minute appointment for a large tattoo, they were very professional, i called the day of to confirm the appointment and went in i was nervous and did not know exactly what i wanted they helped me with everything the tattoo took 2 hours they kept me calm and responsive even though i forgot to tell him to add the nose it still looks fantastic :) will go back for any future tattoos

Quick, clean and informative piercing. Call ahead during restrictions.

So I only had one tattoo on my forearm that I wanted covered up. Went to styx and he said he needed the money upfront, first red flag. Then he said he needed some time to come up with a design. Went back and he printed off the web some basic designs and said which of these do you want and proceeded to argue with me about one design that I wanted, second red flag, when it came time for the tattoo his car was in the shop and he asked me to take him there, third red flag. Then when he tattoo me it went fine for the first session but he became a flake on me, fourth red flag. two tattoo sessions later the receptionist asked me to go over to dollar general and get her a soda, fifth red flag. I definitely would not recommend at all. If it was possible to give zero stars I would. He was horrible at canceling appointments at the last moment, making me wait hours on end, taking breaks every fifteen minutes for at least a half an hour, and all the extra stuff I wouldnt go here ever.

Styx is the only person I trust to tattoo for me. Styx is the man for a truly work of art. Truly genuine in his work and attention to the customers needs.

I really feel like it could have been cleaner and they need to specify that it’s in a house there were cats running around the man was not even set up yet the lights were still off I also think if I will be needing to take my ask off for my piercing then they need to have one on it was a baby’s car seat on the floor and over all I feel like I could have been cleaner and they need to specify a little more Details about there set up!

I am from out of state, I called for a walk in 4 hours in advance. They said call back 30mins before. I did. They then said they couldn’t do it until 9:30pm... I was like okay that’s fine. We get there and they said they are closed and we can come back in the morning. If you are trying to run a business, don’t say you can take a client and then last minute change your mind. You stuff says 24hrs so how are you closed? Honestly worse tattoo and worse business experience ever!!! Will not ever go since they go back on their word. It wasn’t even a big tattoo and we told them that it was no bigger than a nickel! They said we can come back tomorrow. I leave tomorrow morning. I told them that too. I was only here for the weekend. Very unprofessional and very inconsiderate and very rude and go back on there word. Don’t say 24hrs when you are going to close at 9:15pm. Come on.

Went with a my friends to get cartilage piercings. My hoop was too small for my ear instead of putting a bigger one in the guy forced it in my ear. A few days letter my earring got stuck half in and half out on top of that the piercing got infected Went back had it extracted and had to get re pierced. Its been half a year my ear still hasnt healed properly and all my friends had the same exact issues.

They told me to come in at 3:45 but didn’t do my piercing until 4:45 after I said I was about to leave and I wanted my money back. Got a belly piercing & its not even completely straight .

I called to get my triple piercing redone, and was able to get in two hours later on the same day. They had some cats there, the place was relatively clean, and the lady who handed me the paperwork was friendly. I had to wait because the guy who was going to pierce me was tattooing someone, but that wasnt a big deal or a problem at all. He was nice, and did a great job.Anyone who goes to Claires or Piercing Pagonda for their ear piercings, please go to a tattoo/piercing shop instead. The whole process was better. No piercing guns or anything, either. Ive had my ears pierced three times at Claires (basic piercing done when I was six - redone when I was about twelve - then my doubles when I was fourteen.) The pain didnt go away for about five days or so with those.I had an awful experience with Piercing Pagonda for my original triples...I left a review there if whoever is reading this cares, but the pain stuck around for about five days after as well.I have no idea if it had to do with the method used to pierce my ears here or not, but I had them pierced yesterday and theyre barely sore today. Hardly any pain, I can sleep on my side without my new piercing hurting like hell...its just better.Get your piercings at an actual piercing shop, yall.

Drove 3 hrs to get a thigh tat as well as my boyfriend get an existing tattoo fixed and a new forearm tattoo. I called about a week ahead Styx gave me his cell and I sent photos of what we were looking for. Requested 5pm Saturday but he said he only had 8pm....i agreed. We showed up about 15 mins ahead. Were told he was an hour behind we could wait outside or come back. We waited 2.5 hrs in the car. Approached multiple times by a girl there seemingly on drugs asking if we wanted to buy EBT then if we wanted weed and repeatedly telling us how she needed money and asking to use our phones. At 10:30 after being told by another woman 3x that he was almost ready we left as we both have to work Monday and not wanting to be up all night to get a tattoo i text Styx as I hadnt seen him to let him know we werent getting them and why. He responded apologizing. Idk if he is aware of the unprofessional behavior of those around as he was working on someone but i was extremely disappointed. I wasted a great deal of time and money to come

Just recently got a side piece and overall I’m very pleased with how it turned out. Very friendly / welcoming environment, was offered drinks and made sure I was comfortable during the whole process. Definitely would refer this place for anyone’s next tattoo or piercing. 5/5 stars no doubt!

I called about getting a piercing and went in immediately after I called, because they said they had immediate openings. I waited 30 minutes in the waiting room only to be welcomed by a woman obviously on drugs. She couldn’t walk straight and was shaking so bad. No discrimination, but very unprofessional and I refused to let her pierce me. $50, cash only, for a piercing that I wasn’t comfortable getting was a no from me.

Great experience!I went in with my friend 9/29/19 and the experience was awesome. Super friendly guys am very cozy and chill atmosphere. Lots of good conversation and the piercing was quick, in and out. You’ll love these guys, very relatable, and good, sterile work.

We asked how long the wait was and she said I don’t know I’m not the piercer. They both look like they are on drugs and his mask was around his neck. Stay away from there.

I got my first tattoo from here in August 2013. It was a fun experience and I couldnt wait to get another. Yesterday, they started the Halloween special and decided to get another tattoo. I called ahead and the receptionist said that there were three artists and I should be in a chair in about an hour. I got there and the receptionist was pushy and rude. My friends and I played on our phones for about an hour before going into one of the side rooms to watch a movie. People who came in after me were getting into the chair before me. We finished the Evil Dead and I got up and asked when I would be getting a tattoo. The receptionist said that I should be about 15 minutes. A half hour later I was finally able to get my tattoo. The artists were great and looked like they were having fun.We had minimal interactions with the staff during our three hour wait. I later found out that other people were being offered refreshments. Four people who came in after me got their tattoos done while I was still waiting. Im not sure that I will go back for another tattoo.

I went in for a nose piercing and standard ear piercings. After discussing a special the shop was running on piercings, I was offered $50 for everything, then Killion lowered it to $45. I went to the shop the next day, as discussed, and after waiting almost half an hour for him to even come out and greet us (the shop was empty with no other clients at this time), we explained the message and he acted like he didn’t understand it or remember sending it. He is the only worker at the shop at this time and the only one who sends the messages so it was already strange.He asked for money upfront, which was understandable. However, he did not explain clearly the process of paying with a card and the entire process took a long time. He charged the $50 instead of $45 and then took another 10-15 minutes to come back and get me seated for the piercings.The piercing process was confusing and unfriendly for so many reasons, a few being: The placement was off, even after placing the stencil dots correctly. He wanted to charge more for the ear piercings, stating he thought I only wanted one done. I had already explained I wanted both and showed him where prior to sitting in the piercing chair. I mentioned that I had a picture to show exactly how I wanted my nose done and he did not look at it. Aftercare instructions were nearly nonexistent (if I hadn’t gotten pierced before, I would’ve been lost). We ended up paying $70 for everything and it was NOT worth it. I had to remove my nose piercing to get it redone at a different establishment.Styx used to be good by all stories I’ve heard prior. But after my experience, and after sharing it and hearing others bad experiences in recent times, I’ll never go back. The shop was cluttered, crowded, and the overall environment was unfriendly. Killion seemed out of it and was unclear and not personable. I’ve now found a new place that’s open, friendly, transparent, and kind and that’s where I’ll be taking my business from now on.

Got my lip pierced. Quick and easy for a decent price. The guy that did it had a great personality and was very funny. They make you very comfortable and relaxed. He provided instructions, both verbally and on paper, to properly take care of the piercing and when tto change it. This was one of the best piercing experiences ive had. Thinking about havong them do my next tattoo as well.
