This is a small place with a hip vibe. The walls and ceiling are covered with stickers from all kinds of other breweries. They have about a dozen beers on tap, and everyone of them I tried was really good. Ive had their porter, stout, and last night I tried their guava shandy. I ended up bringing a growler of the shandy home. My only irritation was that their swag always seems low. Id love to get a tee-shirt and tin-tacker!

An awesome low key beer bar. Most their own beers with a few guest taps. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good local beer selection as well as those traveling through town. It definitely tops my list as one of the better beer bars I’ve been to in Illinois. With certified cicerone bartenders they know their stuff! Come check this out! No food on site; but plenty around within a few blocks to grab after.

I really like this place and sure miss it...havent been in since COVID. Orange whip is a great beer as well as barfight brown...sure hope they age it in bourbon barrels again this year. Staff is always friendly and willing to chat and answer questions

Great beers! Did a flight of Barefoot brown ale, Bampots export scottish, imperial milkman chocolate stout, and kings demise stout. All were really really good. Also cool vibe and friendly staff

Great selection of beer and ciders. They taste excellent, have a high content, and there is something for all tastes. Would like to see something for non beer drinkers though, besides soda & water. Perhaps the old timey sodas instead of fountain? mexican coke? Or other liquor?I agree with some of the other comments on here about their employees; it is hit or miss. I have gotten some perfectly friendly tenders with recommendations and they will follow up and ask how I liked something, and will have a conversation. Others could care less and their attitude shows it. I did go a few times this past week & weekend, and it seemed the staff was more interested in talking amongst themselves. They also were not keeping up on wiping the outside tables between customers. I imagine that is hard if you are short staffed, but they had quite the crowd acting like they were working there this particular evening. I counted at least 6.The bathrooms and the place are both usually clean other than that.Decent pricing.They have a lot of events so that is always fun to attend!

The beer is generally pretty good and often adventurous. They always seem to have at least a couple sours and plenty of other niche styles in addition to the standard IPAs, APAs, and Pilsners. In normal times, the bar can get a little cramped but you can always go upstairs. During the pandemic, theyve done a great job utilizing the Adams St outdoor space.

I like: their beer; outdoor seating; sometimes attitude. Dont like: sometimes attitude is soooo dismissive of me, cuz Im old I guess. I know we old folks remind you of an unfortunate future, but a smile goes a long way to make our present more pleasant.

I dont generally like beer. I came here for an event and tried the Orange Whip. I really liked it! The atmosphere is nice and comfortable. There are knowledgeable people handy to tell you about the different craft beers and its reasonably priced. We will be back!

Love every beer Ive tried. Especially thrilled with the different pour options (taster, half pours and pints) because I like to sample before I commit to a full pint.Board games and books upstairs! Definitely take a look around to enjoy the craftsmanship!

This place is pretty unique for Springfield. The beer they make is consistently good and with a lot of range in style and flavors. The staff and their service are excellent. The place is clean and well appointed. I particularly like the very DIY feel of the decor, they put a lot of thought and effort into just about everything. They also have a fun selection of board games and other things to give you and a friend or a group of friends a good time. About the only complaint I hear other people make is the lack of music or a jukebox. I personally dont mind that but I have heard many people say they didnt care for that.

Awesome beer! Great staff and atmosphere! We had a really great time the beer is good and the staff are the ones making your beer. They host a lot of events like video games tournaments and bands. Highly recommend this place!

Quaint little brewing co that has a bar on each of its 2 floors. I visited during a local stand up comic event an it was a bit crowded but a good time. Small events hosting recommended!

They have a great variety of beer in an amazing atmosphere. I love the variety of seating and that they are dog friendly. This is the perfect location for a brewery in Springfield, I cant wait to go back!

Nice little brewery with a great aroma. Lovely beer selection - of course, porters, IPAs, and so on. The maple vanilla porter is delicious.

Ive been to there twice and the beer has been great. Theyre constantly swapping out their beer for different beer. Just a cool feel to the environment.

Was not a fan of the pilsner or the chocolate stout. I attended the Oktoberfest party this year and only received one beer with entry.Im sure it was just my experience and not an oberwhelming public dislike for this place, but I will not be returning

Great staff that is helpful and knowledgeable about their beers! Some great choices from Stay Golden to the Barfight Brown (a seriously strong pour) however the space is small and gets overcrowded quickly.
