I recently purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn from Springfield Buick GMC. After shopping around at several locations, I returned to Springfield Buick GMC because of the fantastic customer service and attention I received from salesman, James Talbot. James went above and beyond to ensure that all of my questions and concerns were addressed. Without being pushy or aggressive with the sale, James made sure that this truck was the right one for me.
The process was different in regards to the paperwork to complete the purchase. I would prefer to have everything done at the dealership the day of the purchase instead of setting up a zoom meeting to sign documents online. Also the refund for the trade in has taken longer than a week to receive the check. Someone that had the same process trading in a car received their check within two days of purchase from another dealership.

My husband Zach and I purchased a GMC Terrain last week from Sam. Both Sam and the manager were incredibly nice. They weren’t pushy and we appreciated that! Once we decided we loved the car, we sat down to talk numbers. My husband and I both agreed the price of the car was already very good so there wasn’t much to negotiate. We had a small back and forth when negotiating the car. The car didn’t come with all weather mats and it was something that I really wanted. After a while the manager agreed to give us WeatherTec all weather mats. I expressed how I wanted the actual GMC brand mats when negotiating but understood and we ended up agreeing on a price with the inclusions of the weathertec mats. They said they would ship them to us the next day. We had a great talk with both Sam and the manager after and drove off in our new car! A few days later we not only received the all weather mats but we received the GMC brand all weather mats just as I had originally wanted. Something like that will not be forgotten by us and we can’t express how wonderful this dealership is. I would highly recommend!

I bought my first new Car Here back in 2008 and they took very good care of me and my Torrent if I had a problem I just had to take it there and they looked into the problem right then. And it was taken care of Right away. When I was ready to by my Truck I went right back there because I knew they would take good care of me. I took it home that day and discovered something was wrong with the tires I took it back and they ordered Four new tires and put them on the same week. Ill never go any where Else. We can always count on Springfield Buick GMC to take care of us. Within a span of 20 years, we have purchased 6 new vehicles (back to the Foreman-Blair days) and they are our first stop. When considering this GMC Acadia Denali, we looked at other dealers, for the first time; however, prefer to keep our business locally for economic value. Separate from the dealership, we have some deep concerns relative to the vehicle as within 3,000 miles, the transmission went out and had to be replaced. Now, a few days after replacement, it seems to be exhibiting some of the same issues the past transmission started to have, so we will keep an eye on it. Despite this concern, we are a GM family and have been very pleased with the product, which improves year-over-year.
On a scale of one to five, salesperson Jim Ream and Springfield Buick GMC, deserve a six!!! I knew from my first contact when calling and speaking to Jim that this was not going to be like any other experience that Ive ever had when buying a car. Jim was not only knowledgeable and courteous, but he was straightforward and patient with all of my questions. It is easy to tell that he is a good, honest person. I also met and spoke with Scott, his General Sales Manager, and with Mark, the Finance Manager, when finalizing my purchase, and my experience was great working with both of them. There were no extra charges or attempts to add items that I didnt want and they explained everything that made up my invoice. Good repair service that I have ever dealt with amounts other dealerships and shops. Never felt like they over priced me on repairs. When I arrive and drop my car off I know my car is in good hands. Tim and all the other service man were always respectful and kind,nevertheless very patient and understanding of me and my car problems. Definitely worth the drive to purchase a vehicle if you’re not from Springfield. Every one in the pre-owned part of the dealership were extremely friendly and just genuine people. We worked directly with James Talbot as our salesmen but every person we came in contact with were awesome! They are not pushy salesmen and seem to care about what works for you. The also came in 2,000 dollars more on the trade in then any other dealer or car buying service around. They also ran the numbers with us multiple times to make sure we were getting the best loan option available. We absolutely loved our experience there. Definitely head over there if you’re looking for a new to you car!

I bought a 2019 Buick Encore. Lamar gave me a great deal and made sure I was happy with the deal and the car. They did such a great job my grandson bought a 2015 Cadillac ATS off the Pre Owned lot.
While the sales person was completely respectful, kind and helpful. Once it came down to looking at the numbers, I did not love their sales strategies. While in the dealership, yes the numbers on the quote were reflective of ticketed price on the car as listed, on the lot.It just didn’t feel right.I think I even texted my husband at one point while in the dealership and said, “I feel uncomfortable here.” There was this odd back and forth with the manager on “this and that”.I have had better experience with different car dealerships before in the past. For example when looking at the price of a car, or the trade in, they have the ability to bring up comparable vehicles. In the past car dealerships have show this to us directly, other dealerships give their employees the empowerment to help their customers at a standard that is well know to the salesman and the customer. The back and forth with the manager about what they can do felt yuck, and with a variable on how they could assist use based on an unknown number of things.I have left other dealerships walking away assured that on both ends, us as a consumer is getting the best we can, and the dealership is also getting what they can.I did not have this sense of security after leaving here.I could have left it at that. Walked away and been okay with knowing maybe this just wasn’t the car/dealership for us and that’s okay.But I think the part that has left me to this review, is that my husband called once again and give an fair offer on the vehicle, because well, it seemed to us that this dealership was more into the haggling sales the back and forth, so we made an offer. I mean heck, we did like the vehicle and we already had this much time invested in it. I mean the least you can do in these situations is ask right?The response was that the car was increasing in price on Monday with an almost $9,000 price increase. As IF that would pressure us into making fast decision.(((( Monday came and the price online DID NOT increase )))So was it increasing JUST for us ?! Because they knew I wanted the car and had the means to increase my budget ??OR was it increasing to push us into making a fast decision??Or was the value of the car actually I increasing: a quick research told me it was NOT the latter.Yes, it confirmed the yuck feeling I had while in the dealership about the way they present themselves in the sales department.The price was going to increase on a car that has sat on their lot for the past month? Not likely, right?Next, my husband received a notification that they would basically counter offer with a decrease in price from the ticketed price.THIS is the unknown variable that I mentioned before when it comes down to the price of the vehicle.I will say yes, everyone was kind and nice, but I really just don’t love this type of sales.
Rob was great. He answered my questions and made himself available to get everything lined up so that I felt confident driving the 4 hours to complete the sale. I feel like we were treated fairly with our trade and the whole process worked smoothly. It was a unique situation and we got a beautiful vehicle at a very good price. A wonderful experience and I wouldnt hesitate to do business with you again.

I had a wonderful experience at Springfield Buick. I was looking for a Cascada. A very hard car to find since the car’s manufacturer no longer make them for the US. One was in Cincinnati, the other was in Springfield. The dealership in Cincinnati would not “deal” with me, so I headed to Springfield.Right away, I knew I was on the right place. James Talbot, the Sales rep greeted me right away. I had talked with James the day before and He provided me with the vehicle specifications and a Car Fax on the vehicle well before I arrived.After test driving the car, I knew it was for me. So we started our discussion. It was refreshing to be able to deal with him and Scott, the Sales Manager. They gave me a deal that I couldn’t refuse.I had a great experience at Springfield Buick Cadillac and I highly recommend the whether you’re buying a new or used car.

I purchased 4 new tires for my 2017 GMC Yukon. They look great. Had a problem with one that developed a slow leak. But Ken got it taken care of, said they had to polish out the rim to remove some corrosion so it would seal. Holding fine now. Thanks Ken.

I just bought a Buick Regal at Springfield Buick GMC. The Regals get high reliability ratings from sources including Consumer Reports. The professional salesmanship, knowledge and friendliness I received was excellent. Both JR and ERIC treated my as an important customer. They showed patience, were knowledgeable and took their time - to give me detailed information. They researched and found a lower interest rate than I could. The price was reasonable and so I didn’t have to waste time haggling. The car looks great & so far, so good.

What a great dealership. I called the day before about a specific truck. When I arrived Thomas Thatcher and Jordan had it ready for me to inspect. Then Thomas took on a test drive that covered both city and highway driving and gave me ample time to check out the performance and all the amenities.I did my research up front and was prepared for the negotiations. Most people hate this, but it easy. I showed them the info I had gathered and compared it to their offer, plus provided detailed service records for the last 6 years on my trade in. They reviewed all that and we shook hands and made a deal. No high pressure or low balling. Honest fair deal.This is why I drove 90 miles from Columbus. It seems like small town car dealerships just treat you better.

He addressed all my concerns and set up a time for a test drive. When I arrived at the dealership, I was taken care of by Jordan Holt. Jordan was so easy to work with. He made me feel at ease. Thomas Thatcher did an excellent job orchestrating our car purchase. Most of the process was completed over the phone with zero pressure. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable financing options and we spent less than 30 minutes signing paperwork to complete the sale!
Ive mentioned three times that the entertainment system is not always working and that the trailer light system acts up when its raining. The reply I usually get is a shrug of the shoulders with no resolution. The sticker price on this truck is $60,000.00 and I can guarantee you with that attitude ill never buy another GM product. I would think someone would care but you apparently do not.
