I recently needed to purchase 2 new tires abd chose to go back to Smart buy tire. Early in 2020 I had an issue with my front end and they helped me out so I decided to return. I was wanting 2 tires, an alignment, and an inspection since I was needing to tag my van. I spent a little over 200 dollars there to be told that the alignment and inspection, would not be able to be done until more work was done to the front. The estimate was almost 600 dollars. I decided to purchase the parts listed and have a friend do the work and save the labor costs. Once he removed the tires he found absolutely nothing wrong with the 160 dollars worth of parts I had purchased luckily I was able to get my money back on those parts. It is a shame that just because I trusted them to do work necessary to my van. That they took advantage of or rather attempted to of a single female my money will not be returning to that business. Be aware the good ole boy network is alive and ladies bring a male friend with you if you want fair un sexist treatment.

Absolutely horrible, son took his car for oil change. Next day oil is pouring from the car with oil light on. They didnt change the oil filter didnt put the plug back in to make good seal and took clips out without replacing. Would not recommend to anyone.

I’ve been in multiple times to get some work done, and I’m always very pleased. It’s very quick and on time! Great place to get your vehicle to the doctor. They are really nice and straight with your vehicles needs. Come by and get a check up. Seems to me that they do everything. Listen to 99.9 on mondays for car info too.

Just got tires put on for my 2016 Hyundai car. Jeff was super helpful and recommended some great looking tires. Definitely satisfied! Found em on Google and the great reviews are definitely something of truth!One caution for the business though: may be careful with their machine to put tires on. Three of the rims have a circle scratched around the rim near the center. My rims arent great looking at the moment so I dont care. But if they get a nicer car, please be careful.

Smart Buy Tire is the best shop in Springfield, hands down. I have used them through 4 different vehicles for services from simple tire rotation/balances to brake/rotor replacements and more. They do good work in a timely manner for a fair price, which is about all a customer can ask for (in my opinion). I have taken a tire/wheel in that came off a bead and it was repaired at no cost. I have called last minute for an emergency repair and been worked in quickly. They have gone the extra mile time and again. I highly recommend them to anyone!

After being quoted almost $2000 to work on my car from another auto repair shop. I honestly was hesitant at first going to another repair shop. Today I brought my car in for an oil change, inspection, and to fix a non-working right windshield wiper. I made an appointment for 4pm, but I dropped my car off at 9am. It was done in an HOUR! They said a bolt was loose on the wiper mechanism and fixed it, and didnt charge me for a new motor like other shops may have. Super honest, fast working group over there with great personalities. They had a clean office and practiced social distancing. Looking to put some new tires on my Murano next week. This is the best place in town. They will only fix what is necessary and they DO NOT try to up sell you.Upon moving to Springfield, I had a bad experience at another auto shop and asked a friend for help. They referred me to Smart Buy Tire and I have been going there ever since.It seems that other auto shops tend to price oil changes super low and then try to sell you on necessary fixes once they get you in the door. Smart Buy Tire doesnt do this. You may have to pay a little more for an oil change, but they are honest and you cannot put a price tag on that.

These guys parched my tire in under 15 minutes. Very affordable. So impressed!

Smarter than Ford.... seriously... Ford asked for my VIN number and told me what alternate tire sizes would fit my car. The guys at Smart Buy said Sorry, not gonna work.... My mother has used Smart Buy Tire since 92 and myself since 01. They are honest about what work needs to be done, not about how they can rip you off. My windshield got broken once while sitting in there parking lot. I was asked if I knew anything about it, I didnt and was upset because I didnt have the money to pay for another. They completely replaced it with no cost to me, I was extremely grateful. They have warranties on tires with good prices, reasonable hourly rates and are knowledgeable. If I ever have an issue I take my car to Dougs. If its something his shop cant do he gives me a recommendation of who can do the work for me.

I have been going here for many many years and really trust Doug (the owner). He is knowledgeable and honest. The receptionist is very nice as well. The current shop manager, Brad is a really great guy that knows his stuff and will talk with you about repairs, etc.The reason I gave it 4 stars is, they have been through a couple shop managers over the years that were questionable. And for a while, Doug wasnt even around (vacation or attempted retirement...I dont know).But now that Doug is back and Brad is shop manager, I feel confident bringing my cars to them. Not just for tires but for all kinds of work!

Got a set of good used tires for a good price, and they put them on very quickly. 45 minutes in the lobby and i was paid and out the door.

This is the only place I buy tires in Springfield. They are usually the cheapest in town. Usually you have to pick between cheap and quality, not with Smart Buy! The staff is very friendly and do quality work at a reasonable price.

Just stopped in due to a flat tire. They had it patched and back on the road in less then 20 minutes. In addition the pricing was reasonable and the staff was polite and professional.

Theyre always helpful and hospitable. The work gets done quickly and correctly. The prices for the tires I get are always lower than other tire shops.

Customer service is give 5 stars but I paid $200 for lug nuts and my heat to get fixed... WASTE OF MONEY! my heat only works while I was driving down the HIGHWAY but now doesn’t work at all. And they stripped two of the five lug nuts I paid to get replaced. Got it fixed to come back to Tennessee, didn’t realize lug nuts were stripped until I got here. I got it all fixed Saturday and it’s currently Tuesday and everything I paid for isn’t fixed.

Ive given this place second and third chances since theyre close to where I work but I end up leaving frustrated every time. I called ten minutes before my appointment to make sure they werent running behind so I could get my oil changed during my lunch break. I asked to cancel after my truck sat outside for 30 minutes and their response was Yea, were a little backed up today.

They are friendly but shady! We bought two new tires for the rear went in a week later bc of a flat in the front he sold me on some used but new tires well after hubby looked at them they sold us our old tires the same ones we wanted changed a week prior bc they where cupped on the inside. They even put those on the back hopping we wepuldnt notice. I will say they refunded our money but there where customers in the store so they probably didnt want them to find out
