Great service. Fixed my flat tire in a hurry. Highly recommend! I was visiting my mom in Springfield and got a flat tire. Left it at Firestone on an entire Sunday and they failed to get to it citing they were too busy to work it in. Took the vehicle to Mitchem on Monday morning and they worked me in recognizing I was from out of town and had to drive back home out of state later that afternoon. Very friendly and professional service. They even put the spare tire back in my Odyssey (no small feat).Mom regularly buys tires from them. I highly recommend them and they will be my first choice when in Springfield.

Probably the most expensive alignment. Took 20 minutes. They did an amazing job but at 20 minutes I paid 300 an hour

Great service and great people. I had them mount and balance 4 tires plus do an alignment. They were slammed busy the whole time i was there and were even 2 people short on staff. Still got me in and out quicker than i was expecting. Definitely recommend them.

The only reason that I gave 4 stars is because we had a couple issues. I dont feel we need to name the problems we had but I am so thankful the team at Mitchem took care of them right away! I understand it has been difficult to get new employees trained and up and running on their own. When one made a mistake it was fixed without issue. The other issue, not employee or service related, was something a Manger needed to address and Corey did a great job. No one ever wants have to speak with a manager but he handled the situation really well and took care of us. We have purchased tires here multiple times and will continue to go back.

I went to get my oil changed in my car. The crew there are professional and friendly. The prices are reasonable AND they even checked my tire pressure and other things in my car. As I was dreading going to get it done, they made the experience so good that I will never take my car anyplace else but to Mitchem. ❤ I highly recommend this place. 💕

Arrived at 12:45. They close at 3. Had a bolt in front tire. The bolt was 2 inches in from the sidewall. They tried to convince me it couldnt be repaired. Then they said they didnt have time to look at it. Took it to another tire shop and the didnt hesitate to fix it without replacing the tire.

$20 for a 25 cent plug. I could have done that myself. I was expecting a patch on the inside because its such a new tire, but thats what i get for not saying it. Not only that, but I took the wheel off myself, AND, they had me come back later to pick it up! It took more time to check in than it did to plug it. You could have done that while I was there. And a discount would have been nice since they didnt take it off the car, or the wheel, or spin balanced it. Thanks, but Not going back. This is the second time they got to me. The first time was on a car I needed inspected.

I took my car in for a leaking tire and one with a screw. Was treated with kindness, honesty and professionalism. Upon inspection, was told I may be looking at a set of 4 new tires. When I came back to pick up my car their team had been able to fix my 2 tires and save me the unplanned purchase of a set of tires. They said, we could have sold you a set of tires, but that wouldnt have been the right thing to do. As a customer lacking car knowledge, I appreciate the honesty in their business. I will return when the tire purchase is needed.

Went in to get my wifes car checked for a shimmey in the steering wheel. They pulled the front tires off, checked the balances, put them back on and checked everything they could. They could not quite figure out what the issue was, but had some ideas that were beyond their shop capabilities. They didnt charge me a thing, and said I like to solve problems, and we didnt solve your problem. Ive driven from Rogersville for a while to have them do whatever tire and wheel work I need, and I will keep coming.

I have to say, I am a bit disappointed with Mitchem Tire on Kerney. I took my car in to have an oil change done and they put in a different oil than what is recommended for my vehicle. My car calls for 5W30, but they put in 5W20. I doubt it makes too much of a difference, however I do not want to take any chances with a thinner oil especially on a higher-mileage engine.

Their shop on Kearney is where i have all my tire work done. Also where i get my vehicles inspected. When feeling lazy i have them do mechanical work to.. like ball joint replacement. Great alignment service to.

Got us in quickly, friendly, and very inexpensive!4/25/19 - went to get an oil change today and found out the two of three tires were showing cords and third tire is really thin. They got me in immediately and had us out of there in 2 hours. Very friendly and efficient. Will continue to use Mitchem on Kearney St. and would definitely recommend it.

I have used Mitchem tire and wheel for years and today I was reminded why. I had a slow leak in one of my tires and because I have an all wheel drive vehicle was faced with replacing all of my tires when they still had plenty of life left in the tread. After talking to the manager and some of the technicians, we had a great solution to get most of the rest of the life out of my current tires and also got a great deal ordering The Replacements at the same time. There are Never Enough good things to say about these guys so Ill just leave it with thank you Mitchem tire and wheel for always doing a perfect job

For a place that calls themselves an auto shop they cant even replace a compressor. On top of not being much of an auto shop, the employees are rude as all hell, especially the short guy with the pony tail. To finish it all off they charge outrageous prices for even the most basic of things.

I had several phone conversations before my first visit. They were very helpful with my repairs. The repairs were done quickly and Robert was friendly. As a former mechanic myself, I am pleased in every way, with these people.My truck drives great after the repairs to the front end.Thanks for the great work!

There was 4 guys standing out front smokeing ciggerates ALL the bays were open, I stopped cause there was the loud clanking noise comein from the rear brakes. I was tryin to be a paying customer, An it would have taken 5min of there time...an the RUDE guy behind the counter...So a stranger passin buy helped me in there parkin lot... I REALLY WISH EVERYONE LIVED BY Treat others the way you want to be treated! They just LOST sum EXTREMELY LOYAL BUSINESS, SHAME ON YOU.

I had 2 flats after going through some construction recently. These guys went above and beyond to get me up and running again. They got my low profile 22s in quickly and did a great job with my custom wheels. This is the best tire shop around. I really appreciated Roberts help with getting the whole thing fixed at the construction companys expense. Way to go guys!!!

I just came for a safety inspection. Staff was friendly and did the job in a timely manner. They have place where you can sit and watch TV while waiting.

From tire rotation, to pretty much no wait (first come first serve) oil changes, I’m greeted with a smile and any help or assistance needed. I love how I can ask a question without feeling “dumbed down” all my vehicles come here. Great, friendly staff and comfortable waiting area. J.C.

I called at 8:30 am about a set of tires, the one I wanted they had to get out of the warehouse, I was told they would be there at 1:00 PM, i arrived at 1:10, they hadnt even ordered them, was told they would hotshot someone to get them, be there on 30 minutes, at 2:00 still no tire, we have got several sets of tires and had good service. I left, probably wont go back!!

I would not recommend this place to anyone not only did they not put the right amount of oil back in the car after an oil change they got the inside of the car dirty didnt check the tire pressure all because the guy servicing it wanted to go home

Fantastic, family run business. These guys are competitive on price and selection, but the outstanding customer service sets them apart. Ive been doing business with them for years, as have most of the people I know. Time and time again they go out of the way to make sure you get what you need, done right, the first time.If you dont need something, they tell you that too, which is rare for other shops. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could, the integrity of Mitchem over many, many years is unsurpassed by anyone in the area.

Very friendly and helpful service staff...I had driven from St. Louis to Springfield to visit my daughter this past weekend and found a nail in my tire on Friday night. I called several places on Saturday morning. Many shops were actually closed, but Mitchem was open and encouraged me to come by anytime that day to fix my tire. I was on a tight schedule since we had several things planned for Saturday and they were very accommodating. They removed the nail and patched the tire quickly and had me on my way. They charged me less than $20 and did not try to sell me a new tire or upcharge me for anything. I very much appreciated their kindness and good service! :)

These guys are polite and professional. I have come here several times with questions on tires and my suspension. They have answered my questions and quickly evaluated and repaired my vehicles, even a 2015 silverado a couple of months outside of warranty :(. They have even passed on the chance for free money by telling me I didnt need an oil change I came in for. I found out my mother had recently had it done without my knowledge elsewhere. 10/10 I will never return to Firestone but I will return to Mitchem Tire.

The guys here are outstanding they go out of the way to help you and do there best to fix your issue, purchased new set of tires for my truck and when I picked up my truck the even went beyond and shined my rims, How cool is that!! Have earned my business from here on out!!!

Robert is awesome. Other guy thought I was crazy cause I said tire was low. I had aired up before coming to see them. Just needed them checked for something in it. Not told they were fine with out you doing anything. Robert has always been a big help.

The staff went out of their way to help me with putting my tube in my tire wheel that I purchased elsewhere. Most shops wouldnt touch something they didnt sell you. These guys, Mitchem tire, get top marks, I will go back for tire needs.

We love this place for our oil changes and tire needs. They never try to upsell us, so when they suggest something needs to be done, we know it is really something that should be done. And when they spot something that they cant handle, they let us know we need to go see our mechanic. I seriously cant say enough good things about this place!

My car was making an awful hissing sound and I pulled into Mitchem to have them take a look. Obviously, I didn’t have any idea what the noise was and had to rely on their expertise. It turns out that it was just a hose that came loose. The mechanic cut off the frayed end and reattached the hose. The best part: he didn’t charge me a thing! They earned my trust and I will be back.

Was in a pinch, from out of town, had busted sidewall told them what i needed, (235-40-ZR18 99Y Load/speed rating and AA/A traction & temp) they said no problem only to find out I got 235-40-R18 92W - A/A and they said that these were better then what I had on it. Cost of tires $155 ea. vs tirerack.coms $106 ea. Guess Its my fault for trusting professionals.

I didnt have enough money on my card, but had money at my house. They had my tires off, so one of the guys drove me to my house, and he was very pleasant, and kept me updated on my back brakes.

Took a tire in to have a leaking valve stem replaced that had a sensor asked if they replaced with a sensor and they said yes after I left the tire little was still on I took to a different shop they putbin a regular valve stem with no sensor after the other shop put sensor in Ive had no problems. I wouldnt recommend if that is the way they do business.

Brought in a car with a nail in the tire to have it patched. I just had the tire off but felt like it was too big of a hole to plug, so I put it back on and drove the car up to have it patched. They cut off all the lugnuts because they said it was rounded off and put a new tire on anyway! Be very careful when using these guys, very crooked business!
