Ive brought my vehicle here several times for small things like headlight replacements and oil changes. Ive also sent friends and family here for some more in depth repairs as well. The service has always been excellent and the staff friendly. I always feel like I can trust them to take care of me and my vehicle. 100% would recommend

Fast and helpful. This location helped me with my truck ODR for registration. Another company blew me off and didn’t bother to investigate whether I needed a safety inspection or ODR. Meineke took care of me in 15 minutes.

The lobby area was nice and warm and clean. The location is very convenient to both eating establishments as well as near bass pro in case youre wanting to spend some time doing something other than just waiting. Really professional services and wouldnt dream of using anyone else.

The starter on my truck went out yesterday, and I was at lunch break. Long story short my regular mechanic couldnt get to it for about three or four maybe even five days and said, and the other two places I called wanted more money then I was willing to spend. Josh at Meineke said he could get me in that day gave me a area of price between what it would cost oh, and let me know that he wouldnt know for sure until he was able to know all the information about the truck which I didnt know. They got me in, I dropped my truck off, and I went back to work. About an hour later just called said my truck was done and it was going to be about $100 less than the most it could have been and not much more than the least it could have been. Im pretty sure I found a new shop to take my truck to.

Makes me wonder what other shortcuts they take to be quick when I have to pull over on the highway because my hood wasnt shut! Talk to your employees. Luckily hoods have safety latches nowdays but still carelessness.

My previous cars transmission went out and I towed it to Meineke. They inspected it and let me keep my car there as long as I needed while finding a replacement. They gave me names of companies who would pay for my car and were helpful and kind in every way possible. Going back to them for anything I need in the future for my new car.

These guys are absolutely great! Evan, the guy who worked on my car, was incredibly helpful. He quickly figured out what was wrong with my vehicle, explained it to me in a way that I could understand, and fixed the problem. They are all very friendly and polite, which has not been my experience at other places (Im a bit different so to speak). Also, they have never taken advantage of my lack of automobile knowledge in order to sell me extra parts, services, etc.... I highly recommend these guys and will certainly use them for any repairs in the future.

I was able to schedule an appointment for an IDOD the day after I called! The availability was perfect and when I got to the store Josh was super nice and efficient. Didn’t waste any time and I was out by my appointment time (since I arrived early) Will be going their for any car needs!

Very friendly and very helpful. Worked with my budget to make sure i was back on the road and safe. Also they have a really comfy couch to sleep on while you wait.

I am happy to share the exceptional experience and HIGHLY recommend Meineke for anything. My day began hearing an awful braking noise and I went to the nearest service center (Sears Auto Center) and asked for a free brake inspection. I was told my brake pads and rotors needed replaced ASAP. I was quoted almost $400. I quickly called Meineke and spoke with Adam who was very relatable and understanding. I advised of the issues and was told almost $100 less due to a current brake special WITH a lifetime warranty on the brake pads and a warranty in the rotors. The Sears Auto center got upset that I contacted Meineke and charged me for the free brake inspection and had me in tears when I left. Upon arriving to Meineke, Tim greeted me and they got my vehicle taken back immediately. They could clearly tell I was upset and frustrated however assured me that my vehicle was in the best hands. Upon paying and leaving an employee named Chris was also present at the counter and also treated me with utmost respect. Ive been to Meineke before and always had good experiences but this was the best experience Ive ever had! I will always be a loyal customer to Meineke! The amount of reassurance and respect that each of the employees expressed was truly exceptional. Thank you Adam, Tim and Chris!

Not here at Meineke I told them my concerns I was told I needed a muffler I didnt my exhaust needed a adjustment thats all. Called to get a vehicle inspection and spoke with Josh who got me in that day even though the online schedule showed they didnt have anything available until the next week. Service was fast, friendly and honest. You guys have a great employee in Josh and if I owned a car repair shop I would try to poach him from you. I did not see any other employees while I was there That doesnt mean they werent there or that they werent doing their job, I just didnt see them. What I did see was Josh answering the phone, settling invoices, speaking with other customers about their vehicle and the work that was done AND working on cars in the garage. He was efficient, friendly and it was impressive to watch someone juggle so many tasks while maintaining a calm demeanor. This Meineke is not my neighborhood Meineke. In fact its a 25 minute drive from my home and I passed several auto shops on my way to this one. I chose this location because it was convenient to my schedule that day. I will be returning as a customer and recommending because this location to friends because of this stand out employee. It is worth noting that when I was leaving an older woman had just stopped in to say hello because she hadnt had car issues in awhile and just missed the crew. Was it the best time for someone to pop in just to say hello? No. Was she still greeted with a warm smile and a joke? Absolutely. If you have employees that impact a customer in ways like this you should feel proud.So basically, Meineke is great. Your employee Josh is a valuable asset to your brand. I hope he is recognized for this and that he is compensated well for his dedication to the company. I would hire someone like him in a heartbeat!

Easily the best car maintenance experience Ive ever had. Ive been going here for the past three years about every other month for an oil change, due to the high number of miles I cover. Every visit has been fantastic. Theyve always let me know about any possible issues that may crop up in the next few months and every visit has been quick and courteous. I will always recommend these guys!

I took my car to Meineke after another Springfield shop couldnt figure out what was wrong with it. While the other shop spent over two hours test driving and looking at it only to tell me they couldnt find anything, the guys at Meineke knew almost immediately. When they were ready to do the repair, the man at the front desk said it could take around two hours, but it was finished in about 45 minutes. I was extremely impressed by how kind and knowledgeable they were and by how quickly they worked, and I will definitely be going back anytime my car needs service.

Went in for a state inspection while I was in town and was waiting for my daughters appointment. I was a walk-in and asked how long a state inspection would take. They said 45 minutes so I asked if they had an opening and they said they could fit me in right then. 30 minutes later I was on the way to my daughters appointment and the inspection was free. The mechanic that helped me was training the front desk woman and he was not only polite to us but he showed none of the annoyance that most people have training a new person. You could tell that everyone there enjoyed their jobs and it showed in their work.

I cant begin to tell everybody what I awesome experience I have had any time that I have an issue with my car. 100% professional also the way that they treat people is really great. I recommended going there first so you dont have to waist time looking elewhwre.

Went in for a check engine light on and it wound up being my catalytic converter. They did a fantastic job. They actually knocked the price down 10% because they went over the expected time only because they wanted to make sure everything was welded correctly. The whole time they kept bringing me into the garage just so I knew what was going on. Will definitely be going back. Awesome service all around.

I was extremely anxious when my wheels were making a weird scraping noise for a day or so. I thought my brakes were messed up. I dropped my car off and within 10 minutes, they had found a black walnut caught in my wheels/brake. They were able to get it out and had me back out the road. They were friendly and great for my nervous self when it comes to car problems.

Meineke on sunshine has provided me with the strongest and most reliable auto care experience consistently for all of my car needs in Springfield. I have dealt with many sketchy auto centers throughout my years in college, but these guys/gals came through every time.The team is always friendly, knowledgeable, and quick with service. They are also very genuine & trustworthy, which is very rare to come by these days.I didnt have anywhere else to go when my car broke down, and they got it in the very next day for an alternator/battery replacement at a reasonable rate. They also gave me the quickest oil change and car inspection Ive ever had, with a helpful student discount. These services were both much cheaper than I experienced with competitors.Thank you guys for everything, continue doing what you do!!!

We have come to truly trust these guys. They tell us if something is NOT needed and they spend time to explain the things we should consider. These guys know how to run a business! They have won ours with commitment to doing the job right and in making sure we get what we have paid for and only giving us what is needed. Mechanics and techs were great, friendly, and knowledgeable plus the service was thorough and quick (and I didn’t have an appt). They made me feel like my business was valuable and appreciated. This was my very first visit....I’ll definitely be coming back!!!

I highly reccomend this shop. I went here for brakes. I had already received a quote from another shop and it was way too much. Meineke did it for FAR cheaper, the brakes have a lifetime warranty, and the inspection was free. They also showed me exactly what was wrong so I was able to see with my own two eyes what needed to be replaced. Super friendly staff. I will be back.

Great customer service from the sunshine location in springfield, mo. The gentleman running the front desk was super friendly and got my inspection appointment started right away. I didnt have to sit there waiting for very long. And he fixed a running light for me.

I have taken my car into Meineke on Sunshine several times and Dennis in particular is always so helpful and everyone that works there is extremely friendly AND knowledgeable. Took my car into be checked out because it was trying to over heat. Adam and Dave (?) took their time to properly diagnose the problem and offered me multiple options on how to fix it. They came in multiple times to give me updates. I will never ever take my car any place else. You can tell that they genuinely care about the customers and their safety!

By far my favorite auto shop in town. They were able to get me in for a quick oil change and then let me know other issues with my car, but didnt press on me that I get it fixed. Super friendly guys.

I went in with the intention of getting new pads, rotors, AND calipers. These guys ensured me I in fact did NOT need new calipers. Saved me a ton of money. Super friendly and FAST. Decided to have them change the oil too, 35 bucks with a free tire rotation! Excellent price on the brake work as well. Will bring all my vehicles here now.

I took my car in because my sun roof was stuck open. It was a little late when they got the chance to look at it and unfortunately couldnt shut it before closing. However, they taped it shut for me and didnt charge me anything even after they put in some labor! Ive come back to this place every time my car needs service. The guys there are super nice and personable each time!

If there ever is an issue after a service is performed, they will make it right, free of charge. The staff at this location is always professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. It somehow looked like sludge. They worked out a deal with me where I only paid for the coolant change.They always will come out and give me updates on my car as they are working on it if theres any issues.They have always been very nice and a pleasure to have work on my car.

Ive been coming here for awhile for my oil changes. Well i got my oil change August 21. During this oil change they rotated my tires because it was time. Well since then, i have been hearing a weird noise. So i went back September 9th so they could check into the noise. The two guys told me two different things. One said my tire lining was out of place and could be catching air and making noise. The other being the manager drove my car to figure it out. He told me my tires were wearing unevenly so they were going to rotate my tires again to even it out and after a couple weeks, the noise should go away. Well that Saturday after, the 14th, I drove from Southwest city to Neosho. Well right before i got to my destination in Neosho, my 7 year old sister and I heard a really loud noise and then my car was driving weird. Turns out, my front passenger tire went completely flat. I went and got another tire and changed it myself. Got on the road with my 7 year old sister and we heard the same noise, didnt even make it one exit. Went to Walmart and they checked the tires, balanced them, checked other things. Turns out, I had a bubble in my driver front tire. Walmart said that the bubble wouldve been noticed if they had paid attention. There was also a big piece of plastic from my wheel well that had come undone and was rubbing against my passenger tire. Then we found out that one of my fluids were low and my windshield wiper reservoir was broken. They told me two oil changes ago about the reservoir. I get my oil changed regularly and they never told me about it again during the future oil changes. I recently went back to Meineke to talk to the manager about it and he said they arent held responsible for the tires because there supposedly wasnt a bubble on the tires when they drove and looked at them. The best they could do is give me half off my next oil change. $170 dollars later, two front tires replaced, everything checked by a different place, and this is all they can do. Not accept responsibility and only offer half off the next oil change? Really? What if something worse wouldve happened with my 7 year old sister in the car going down the interstate? How am I suppose to believe the job will be done next time?

Excellent and fair service. Went in a week ago with a rattling exhaust expecting to pay at least $60 to fix it. After looking it over for 5 minutes the service professional came out and told me it was just a rusted heat shield. He didnt charge me a cent thats a type of honesty I thought had died out decades ago. I will recommend this place to everyone who needs work done. There need to be more places like this in the world.

Shortly after dropping off my car for a few things, I saw the technician hot rodding it down Campbell. When I called and talked to Tim Baker (manager) his solution was to have the tech call me and deny doing it. BEWARE if you have a fast car they will abuse it.

I got in near closing time for an inspection and they got it done really quick!

I just left the location on Campbell. I dropped my car off when it was 84 degrees outside and my a/c had stopped working. You can imagine the dread of what they would find. I was called 20 minutes later with a diagnosis...a wire that needed re connected. They did not charge me a dime, believe me I offered. These guys are kind and honest and I will be back.

Zero stars worth, Customer BewareThis company and these guys have many complaints on the BBB and CONSUMER AFFAIRS websites.Tim told me over the phone that they only go straight to the brand dealers to get actual OEM parts, as in same-day acquisition. This was in answer to my question on if they are able to repair cars with OEM parts, and that i was willing to wait for shipments. Believing Tims word on same-day repair, i let them service my vehicle after which i came to find that they used a non-OEM part for repair-replacement. The DURALAST brand DOES NOT have OEM authorization. Let alone, Tim/crew bought the non-oem part for $30 at an autozone store a few minutes up the road from their Autoshop location, and charged me $50 for it in the bill. I know cause i inquired of available parts at the same autozone a few days earlier, and that day Tim told me where he got the part from. The actual authorized OEM part is $50 online or at a dealer. And Tim nor any from that crew went to an authorized dealer in the area to gain it. If they werent able to acquire one, they should have told me before making the repair, but coerced the payment out of me for the repair without telling me they didnt have an OEM part. Now i have a piece of unauthorized thermostat installed in my car that i never asked for, or that i was initially promised against. Pretty sure thats gonna die in a few thousand miles. They not only lied over the phone to get me into their shop and to make a quick buck out of me, but they never once consulted me to use a part i NEVER AGREED TO. If i knew they could never get an OEM part, I would have just waited a few weeks to ship an OEM part in and serviced my own car at a friends garage.Not only was i out a few hours at work, i now dont know when that knock-off part will inevitably fail.I dont know if the good reviews for this place were made by people who dont know how repair anything in their own vehicles, let alone know how to use a screwdriver, But these mechanics were not honest with me from the beginning. Consider yourself Warned.Update: reported these people to BBB and they fabricated a false story against me. I do have a recorded phone call as evidence of their bullcrap, but i shouldve recorded a lot more. Not to mention their disingenuous response theyve given to Lindesy Bates and I to contact some goose-chase designed company email that 1-absolutely does not respond in any way, and 2-does not answer their phone lines and when they do, they say, dont call us, well call you. Why the heck do they even have contact info? I guess i can make it rich in todays America too if i falsely advertise, sell as bait and switch to as many dumb customers as i can harass, and tell complaining customers that illll call them back in 3 days but never do.Again, none of these clowns dared to take any responsibility whatsoever.
