I visited Springfield for a vacation and my car began to over heat I took my car to hootens to have it looked at and they said they don’t have openings until two weeks but I had to be back in Wisconsin by Monday night the owner ordered me a new radiator and got it installed first thing Monday morning I was very thankful that they were able to help me despite being over booked definitely a go to place for mechanic work and when I visit if I need car work again it will definitely be the shop I return to thank you Brad for helping me get me and my daughter home

Got my car fixed fast and got me on my way.

I took my car in on a Saturday morning hoping they could find out what was wrong with it and fix it so that I wouldnt miss any work. They saved the day. The cost was fair and I cant thank them enough. Great job.

They were able to take our car in and fix it within 2 days. They went above and beyond in the repair by notifying us that our air filter needed replacing. They also offer a free shuttle service or will drive the car to your house. By no means the cheapest repair shop, but you get what you pay for.

I highly recommend this shop. The quality of work is good and the pricing is fair. The guys there are very customer service oriented and treated me like my business was important to them. I would definitely come back again if needed. Exceptional customer service is the name of their game!

Took a 07chevy truck for steering problem fixed it and reassemble price so decided to take my 200 chrisley down having heat problem and AC problem will see how it goes keep you posted.

We only take our vehicles here. The service is great. We have had anything from the normal check lights, the we have no idea whats wrong with it, rebuilt transmission, breaks, belt replacements, vehicle pick up, to oil change... The list goes on.

My car broke down while on a road trip to visit a friend 3 hours from my home. AAA had it towed to Hooten Automotive on a Friday evening, after hours. The owner called me Saturday morning, went over the details, and got the car fixed for me that day! This saved me a lot of hassle trying to find a rental car and travel back and forth if my car had to remain in Springfield for any length of time. The owner was a knowledgeable, honest guy who went above and beyond for me. Thanks!

So thankful we listened to neighbors and went with Hootens! After calling around to two dealerships, and two other private mechanics, Hootens was the most reasonable and responsive! Our car needed a labor-intensive repair done, and Hootens was upfront regarding the cost and time it would take. Very thankful for their business. Well be using them again! (But hopefully not anytime soon. Haha!)

The staff here is very impressive. I have received the best customer service here. Specifically J.R. and Brad. They were both very friendly, answered any questions I had very thoroughly, and not to mention had my car up and running again within the hour. Best auto care shop around!

Bard and Jr are great hard working guys. Every time I take one of my cars in for one problem or another they dont give up til they figure it out. So very please with the work that was done. I got a “new” used car, took it there to have it looked at to see what all I needed to have done after I already purchased the vehicle. They looked it over, drove it, and told me only what was wrong with it. They didn’t add in a bunch of nonsense to it as that tends to happen when women drop off cars at the shop. Will definitely recommend this place and will be returning!

I dropped my vehicle off for an oil change and loud noise. Like turn your radio up cause you don’t want to deal with it noise. After driving my vehicle around the block, they determined it was my wheel bearings and gave me a price to repair. I googled average repair cost and the estimate given was well below that. My car runs great!

Break caliper went out on me the morning of visiting and they had it fixed in less than 2 hours along side of a general check up and oil change. They seemed thoughtful that i was alittle tight on time also. Im new to springfield and was pleased with the service i received. Ill return if anything else comes up and for regular oil changes. They got the job done and the staff/ mechanics were thorough with me when i had questions. I didnt leave feeling like my car was going to fall apart going down the highway.

A Rare Find!!!!!!These people saved my bacon on a road trip from Colorado to NJ. They were a referral from Dans Towing..also good people and extremely helpful. Oh and this all went down Friday afternoon at almost 5....quitting time. These great guys (and girls in office) went the extra mile at quitting time and got my Subaru back on the road!!!! Im in NJ right now writing this review....I made it thanks to Hootens. Highly..HIGHLY recommended!!!!!!
