Phenomenal experience! I was having trouble finding someone who would do good quality work and still be trustworthy with myself. These guys do it the right way. Couldnt be more happy with the quality of service or the price range they were able to get me out the door with. I will be using B&J Automotive for my future automotive visits.
I want to thank you for the great work you have done on my vehicles. This is not my first time going through you guys and every time you have found the problem and fixed the issue. You do amazing work and have kept me in the loop and I greatly appreciate the time. Look forward to working with you guys in the future trustworthy and honesty goes a long way.
B&J saved my car! Had it repaired at a chain place in Franklin, and the insurance company came back to tell me my car was totaled out.B&J took care of correspondence with the insurance company and got my car repaired and paid for by the insurance company without having to total out and buy back my car.Really happy with the excellent repair work done on my car. Springfield is not close for me, but they drove me back to Nashville after I dropped off the car. Glad I’ve found a car repair place I can trust!
Worst shop Ive EVER dealt with!!! They overcharged me for a used engine, they broke other parts while trying to fix the main issue and then told me it would be an additional charge to replace the parts HE broke. He proceeded to tell me...the struts were weak because you have an older car(2012), they were bound to break at any moment. The point was that my struts were NOT broken before you got my car, so I should have received my car with the struts in the same condition. After my engine was replaced, my oil was a white milky/creamy substance and he said this was normal and all I needed was an oil change. I do not recommend this place, not even for a simple oil change. Please go elsewhere!!! Oh yeah and he is not a part of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) because he claims he doesnt want to pay the fee. I believe the real reason is because he doesnt want legitimate bad feedback/complaints posted or investigations done on his company.
I called several places asking for an estimate price to fix what I believed was wrong with my car, most places just quoted a price and then suggested I bring it in, and for a fee, they would look at it... Mr John, asked me questions, made some suggestions, and also offered to look at it (FREE) just bring it in when I had time... Being a woman, and not knowing anything about cars, I was a little nervous, hed have me talked into all kinds of repairs.. But he set my nerves at ease with his kind personality, and took time away from his paying customers to check out my car theres nothing at all wrong with what I thought needed replaced... I was shocked.. He even showed me how to tell when that part does go out.. Mr John has been in business in this town for decades, and believe me, if he was anything less then a curtious and honest businessman, it wouldnt be hard to find out.. Thank you sir, Ill be bringing my car in for all is needs!
Went there some time ago and had work done to my truck. The paint job was horrible with paint running down the side and pillar. I brought it to John burdges attention and he attempted to fix it. Not only was the paint job lousy and unprofessional but there was a ton of overspray into my bedliner. If you look at where he painted the door the clear coat has come off and the paint has bubbled and chipped leaving rust. As if the paint wasnt bad enough he broke the inside of my door in 2 different places, promised to fix it but never did. Stay away from this place and the owner hes a bridge burner.
Great Service, friendly service Tech.
Im very familiar with this shop.Ive personally seen the owner John pull an alternator off a car, rebuild it with his parts, paint it, and put it back in the customers car and charges them as though it came from NAPA.Not an isolated incident! He would drive customers cars for personal use ALL THE TIME.And yes as others have stated, he shorts his employees.I saw this behavior over 10 years ago, sad to see he is still up to his evil dishonesty while claiming to be mister hi and mighty Christian.
I have known John Burdge for almost 20 years. I met him when I was looking for a job in Springfield. I worked for him along with my husband who worked as a mechanic for him for five years. Never once did Mr. Burdge EVER short us on pay. We were paid every Friday...most of the time he paid more than was agreed upon because thats just how he is. He always puts the customers first, making sure they are satisfied with all work performed. He is VERY respectful of women because he is a good God-fearing man. Everyone should take theirvehicles to John and see what respect, and top-notch service is all about.
Some friends of mine were seriously taken advantage of and had money taken from them. Employees not getting paid, bill money being pocketed. For a good Christian to steal is unfathomable. Its quite sad my friends were out in this position.
The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They will absolutely be able to handle any issues you may have with your vehicle at a reasonable price!
My new go to shop. They helped me get the best price and did amazing work. Thank you B & J!
John Burge does not pay his employees at all. This man said he would pay me $16 HOURLY. WE shook on it and I started the next day. Come pay day, he sould only pay anywhere from $25-50 for the whole week of working 40 hours. He is a two face liar all around. He also does harass women quite a bit. If I had known all this before hand, I would not have worked for him at all.
As a woman, it can be a challenge to find a mechanic who is honest and treats you with respect and dignity. With this in mind, I think any potential female customer should know exactly what the owner, John Burdge, thinks of women.Following a political discussion/disagreement on mutual friends page, Mr. Burdge saw fit to privately message me advising me that I have no common sense and maybe you need a husband to help you view some points and relieve some inner stress. Unfortunately, the message went to a filtered folder and I just discovered it today.Let me be very clear - I do not know Mr. Burdge personally nor did I seek him out to continue the conversation beyond the mutual friends wall.I have no problem with differing political opinions but when an individual goes beyond an open discussion to sexually harrass someone via private message then a line has been crossed.Take your business elsewhere ladies.
