The was good but Mike the manger is always gone on vacation it seem like or in a other part of store and be talking to the people that works out there they said it hard to get him to approve vacation time for them

Everyone I spoke to was so friendly. I asked to keep one of my tires for a tire swing for my little boy. They took off the disposal fee, but then said my tires were too bad, with wires visible. So they found me a safer (and bigger) used tire and put that in the trunk for me! That was really thoughtful and kind, as well as being great service.

One of my tires is bad, and wal mart will not pro rate it even after I had a shop verify that my car is not the problem, but I have a bad tire.

Quick service depending on how many people are there in front of you because it is first come first serve. I usually come here because the basic oil change is only $20 and hard to beat that price. That oil change is just for the oil and not any other fluid checks but I dont mind because I check then myself. Overall a good shop and I would recommend to anyone needing a cheap oil change.

I had 4 tires changed along with an oil change and was was done within an hour and a half. They were extremely busy, but the staff was very professional.

Can not enter the auto center for auto repair, must walk to the front because they can’t figure out how to count back there. They are mostly unable to think for themselves and cannot say anything that someone has not told them to say.

Just dont do it. Your standard story if they cant fix it because theyve got some kind of liability issue. Especially with tires. I had a bad valve stem a perfectly good Tire they said they couldnt fix it because the tire had too much wear on it tire was almost brand new. They didnt want to do it cuz it wasnt enough money in it.

I needed my tires rotated and was quoted $36.00 by one dealer but Walmart at the Independence location did it for $10.00 and took only a few minutes! Saved money and time! Excellent desk leaders.

Zero Stars!! We came in with a simple flat tire...a tire we had previously purchased at Walmart. 1 1/2 hours later...they cant fix our tire, we need a new one. Same thing as the other 3 or 4 times weve tried to get a flat fixed at Walmart. So well drive the 60 miles back home on our flat tire that now theyve made so that we can actually hear the air leaking out, and well get it fixed at our tire shop at home.

Im in walmart so often I dont typically need assistance. Today I was looking for some oil and I didnt see it on the shelf. Before I could start looking somewhere else an associate asked if they could help. I told him what I was looking for and he took me straight to it. They only had 2 quarts and I needed 3. He found a new case and got one more for me. As we were leaving one of the gentlemen in the tire side told us to have a nice day. Just when I thought customer service was a thing of the past these 2 associates renewed my faith.

I stood in line to buy a single item for close to 10 minutes before finally leaving. There was only one person ahead of me and they were also buying a single item. The associate was more concerned about convincing the man on the phone to return to the store to pay for his oil change because they mischarged him.....Not only did they lose my business( I went to O Reilly and paid double) but also the two people behind me decided to leave as well. I have gone to this location many times. It has been about a year since I have purchased a new set of tires and have now had to replace one twice. I usually have to take my paperwork in with me, because they have trouble finding my information. I recently visited this location to get my tire replaced for a second time and spoke to a gentleman named Ryan. He was able to answer all my questions and give me an estimated price. He was very understanding to my time schedule and assured me that I would be notified when my tire would arrive. Unfortunately, not everyone is as concerned about their customers like Ryan. 4:00 came around and I finally decided to call, to find out that it had arrived awhile ago. Willing to over-look this, I drove in so I could get this over with. After handing over my keys, I strolled around Walmart until I was informed that my car was ready. The man at the counter told me the price; which was not what was estimated. I asked what all I was being charged for, only to get the response: Youre service. This is not any way to treat a customer. I asked if my road hazard discount had been applied and if so, why the price was so high. Needless to say, it took 2 other people to figure out if I did or didnt have it. I was informed that because of the damage on my tire, that road hazard would not have covered it anyways. They ended up discounting me for the road hazard in the end, but I still feel like no one was on the same page.The next morning, Ryan called me to ask if I had been taken care of. He had noticed that my original receipt had not been discounted and wanted to follow up and make sure that I had gotten everything I needed. This is above and beyond what I expected. Ryan is the best experience Ive had coming to this Walmart. I would not recommend Walmart Tire & Lube, but I WOULD recommend Ryan. BEST customer service Ive had in years. Thanks Ryan!

Cant get the balance correct on my tires. Its not overly complicated. The machine tells you where to place the wheel weights.

Went inside, told us the inspector was on vacation, which is fine. Called two days later and was told they were doing inspections. Go there hours later and though the inspector is there, he is not doing inspections for like 4 days. Would have been nice to be told, would have just gone somewhere else. Told him it would have been nice to know when we called and he said they probably didnt know. Terrible communication, terrible service.

They overfilled my oil which could of been a disaster but they took responsibility for thier actions and drained and fill to the correct amount without an additional charge. So well give them 3 stars because they should of done it correctly the first time and saved me the gas to drive back over there.

I have purchased a few tires from them and have always been happy with their prices and the employees that helped my while in store. Ive never had a tire go bad prematurely nor have I had one that wasnt balanced.

Mournful, but what do you expect for economy services? They claim that they use a torque wrench for oil changes, but Im quite certain theyre twisting it afterwards. Long story short, they threaded my oil plug and claimed that they didnt.Well, guess what, fellas? Youre the only one to use that stupid blue paint and it was on there when I went to change my own oil. I had to get it professionally removed when the goal was to save money in my driveway.I should have made you all do it and get all uppity while I had to wait, but Im not that type--Ill just not give you any more of my money.

They were very friendly and courteous but a little slow. Didnt have the tire I needed so it is being ordered now.

They put on the wrong side tire. Seriously. I bought 4 new tires and one of them was a completely different size than the rest. How did I figure this out? I drove to Colorado and my low tire light was on. The walmart employee in Colorado immediately said he knew what the problem is. I had a differebt sized tire on. This place is negligent to the point they need to be shut down. Luckily the walmart out here replaced the tire for free. But their employees are so poorly trained they didnt even realize they grabbed the wrong tire and installed it.

I dont usually do this but they are despicable.theyve left tools in my engine, made me wait hours only to tell me the cant do the work, and the jobs they have done do not last. Go somewhere else its not worth it.

Justin in the automotive department at Walmart supercenter Springfield mo on Independence Refused to install a car battery unless I upgraded to one that was more expensive. Even though Walmart claims to have free automotive battery installation. Justin said it was Company Policy but refused to show me where the policy was listed. 2 different priced batteries, same series and in fact had them on the shelf side by side. SO anyone who knows a little about cars knows that as long as the CCA meet or exceed factory specs (Value power battery does) than its ok to install in your vehicle. Nice to see that Wal Mart enjoys financially screwing their customers. Ill be telling everyone I work with (And its VERY close by) not to use Walmart for anything. We have a competitor fairly close that Im sure would welcome the business.

I normally wouldnt go to walmart for this kind of service. But Jessie took care of me today and was one of the best experinces ive had dealing with tires at a walmart. Went there to get a light bulb replacement for my car. The information in the kiosk is inaccurate.

So every experience with Michael the automotive manager has been very negative for me and my husband, he acts like he is annoyed by the questions we ask him and butts himself in the conversation we are having with the other technicians, we are spending our hard earned money here, we have got whole new sets of tires for 2 vehicles !! Walmart needs to wake up and teach Michael customer service or Replace him, just because your in the back in automotive does not give you a pass on CUSTOMER SERVICE !!

Cheap oil change but HORRABLE service.

I have a warranty on all my tires. So if I have an issue I just go in there and have them check my tires and for free. Might take a little bit to get it done but I can always shop and browse around while Im waiting.
