Don’t show up for parts. The senior gentleman in the parts department is rude. He talked down about the company I’ve worked for 19 years. I was trying to be courteous to see if their technicians have a service log to leave notes about a warranty issue I was having on a washer we purchased through them. We (had) an appointment for them to come fix our washer. The response I got. “When our guy gets there they troubleshoot the issue, put in the work order, and make their own decision. There’s been at least 3 of you guys over the years (insinuating I don’t know what I’m talking about.) We aren’t going to take your word for it.” All over a broken start button… Good luck to anyone that has to endure that older gentleman’s poor attitude.

Ordered a range in February 2021 and after months of waiting and multiple promises that it would be delivered I finally cancelled the order in October 2021. Still waiting to get our money back. If they dont have it in stock at their location, dont expect to get it. They were nice and professional, but promises can only go so far.
Do not recommend. They advertise about the warranty they offer and how great it is, but in reality once the purchase is made you are just a financial liability to them. Our dryer quit heating less than 2 years after it was purchased. It took them 10 days to assess the problem. Then an additional 12 days once the parts were received to come back out to make the final repairs. Long story short we are without a clothes dryer for a MONTH! If I constantly wanted to go to the laundromat I would have saved the $2700 I gave them for our washer dryer set.
My fridge failed so I came here for a replacement. This is my second time buying an appliance here but it will definitely be my last. After selecting my account and running my card, the salesperson handed the receipt to be signed to my male friend who gave me a ride to the showroom, which was super disrespectful. They squeezed my delivery in later that same week, which I appreciated, but on the day of delivery some sort of scheduling error meant they didn’t have me on the list for the day. I had to call to make sure they were really coming that day, and initially they tried to push my delivery to the following day. When they finally made it to my home, they scratched my wall getting the old fridge out the front door. Upon delivery, both bottom crisper drawers in the new fridge were damaged. The delivery man assured me they would be replaced and dropped off at my home free of charge, and had me sign off on some paperwork. There was no followup from the company about this until I called the following week. I was told I would need to pay an additional $67 to have the replacement drawers delivered to my home or call the manufacturer directly for replacements.
Excellent customer service. Gary took the time to show us, explain and answer all our questions about the washing machine we bought. They worked with us on pick up time. We with reference them to anyone who is in search of an appliance. And we will definitely return when we need an appliance again.

I got a great Beko dishwasher very quickly. The delivery guys were fantastic and we’re very helpful given that the previous owners at my house installed the flooring wrong and that had to be fixed.
Very knowledgeable salesperson (Brandon H.) helped us make a great selection for our new washer and dryer. He listened to our needs and did not try to push us into something we did not want. He was upfront with potential delivery delays given the limited production caused by the pandemic. He explained warranty information and what to expect from their delivery and installation team. Travis patiently explained features of kitchen appliances we were interested in purchasing, back in late January, & then again 3+ months later when we decided to fully replace & upgrade as needed. He was transparent in explaining all COVID-related delays in delivery, & setting-up installation & removal dates cognizant of our schedules. He was eminently professional, knowledgeable, & personable.
We ordered a dishwasher on January 29 and were told it would be around 6 weeks for delivery. In June, we got a call saying that it would be July, possibly August before the dishwasher would arrive. On September 7, we canceled our order and went to another store and bought a dishwasher. It will be installed on September 14.
I went in and knew the general manufacturer and size of the freezer I wanted to buy. The salesman was helpful, but didn’t know the product to answer questions I had. Specifically whether the hinges could be moved to the left, vs the right. It appeared so, but I couldn’t get a definitive answer. The parts department was extremely helpful

I ordered a dishwasher over the phone and Lyle our salesman was excellent. I told him what I was wanting, they had one in the store and he saved me a trip to Springfield. The problem came when it was delivered. The installers refused to install because of no green ground wire. We could not install the ground wire ourselves because we didnt have the green wire they were requesting so we called an electrician who would install it for us but they wouldnt wait 5 to 10 minutes for it to be done. The installers told us they are only allowed 15 minutes for an dishwasher install and they left. The paperwork was sent to my phone and it said the store allows 45 minutes for installation. So they lied to us. Luckily they left their cordless drill and had to return to pick it up after I called the store to report it. They did install it then, leveled the dishwasher but couldnt get the countertop to be level and left with the countertop higher on the left side. I joked with them in regards to leaving their drill under the sink, they might need it for their next call and they said I was their only call in the afternoon. What was their big hurry then? The salesman called the next day to check up on everything that had happened and I told him never to send those installers to my home again. He then said they are allowed up to 3 hours for dishwasher installs. Not happy with install department at all 🙁
Overall my opinion: SHOP IN THE STORE, NOT ON THE INTERNET!My electric stove arrived finally, a few weeks from the time i bought it. I took photos of the huge dent it arrived with and decided to not bother calling to wait for another having got rid of the old stove. Id review the washing machine i bought the same day, but, ive yet to receive it though i see a delivery date set on the invoice (will update accordingly.). Have not been able to wash laundry inside my home for over a month (ill add, only a few weeks since i purchased a machine). The delivery guys took photos of the stove as well in the crate wrapped in plastic. Just so happens the dent is in the rear on a wall side, so its easily hidden, FOR ME. DVD had the last piece to my custom whirlpool stainless kitchen or so i assumed, i figured i would get it faster since theyre only a few miles from my home than the few days it would have taken to order it from a big box hardware store. I only bought the washing machine here because it was cheaper than other places who had it and i already had my wife here shopping a stove, 2 birds, 1 stone etc etc. If you shop here, i recommend doing so in the store. Most of my discomfort seems to have been caused by using their website to shop and having my wife take in the model numbers to retrieve what the website showed as available at my location. I have zero complaints about the pricing. My wife says the salesperson was friendly, the 2 delivery guys were courteous that i encountered.

I will never buy anything from you ever again or have anything repaired by you. Whole experience was aggravating on a dryer that is only a year and a half old. If I could give you negative stars I would have.
My husband and I have been loyal customers for nearly 20 years. In August we bought all new kitchen appliances. We were told the dishwasher was on back order and we wouldnt get it until April. Then we find out they just cancelled the order with no phone call or notice at all. Cant ever get a manager to speak with you. Constantly given excuses with no answers and no real attempt to make it right. After being such loyal customers for so long, to be treated this way is a true sign to their lack of customer care and satisfaction.
If you buy from here expect to have to call and have another technician come back to fix their first failed installation attempt.The sales team is very knowledgeable and friendly. The service and install team is abysmal. I have purchased a washer dryer and a dishwasher from here and both were not set up correctly. My dishwasher is currently completely unusable and has parts falling off of it. The technicians were friendly but not careful with my appliance or its install.Update 2/9/2021: My dishwasher is still broken, more parts are ordered, but I have a leaking dishwasher that doesnt work, was installed wrong, and now will not be fixed for at least 1 more week.Save yourself money, time, and sanity and just avoid this place for installations. They arent careful and will try to blame you as the user for any failed installs. The entire process of working with the Service department is insulting and they have no interest in making a customer satisfied.
The young man who helped me choose my dishwasher was very knowledgeable and showed me different ones. I told him what I was looking for. He told me the difference between them and how soon they would be available. Very pleased. I bought it that day and it’ll be delivered in a couple weeks.
DONT EVER BUY HERE. THEY INSTALLED A BROKEN WASHING MACHINE. THEN SENT A TECH OUT TO FIX IT INSTEAD OF JUST GIVING ME A NEW ONE. THEN THE TECH BROKE MY PLUMBING AND COULDNT FIX IT. Salesman knew his products. Helpful and informative. Installation promptly done as scheduled. Installer friendly and did a good job. Overall good experience. No complaints. Would return for other major appliance purchase. This purchase was for a dishwasher.
As a first time appliance purchaser, it was very intimidating even just looking around. Thankfully the salesman we talked to, David R. Good was very professional and extremely nice, he didnt try to sell us on anything crazy and he laid out all the important information quite skillfully. Although we have to wait for our stove to arrive for a bit, getting all that we could taken care of then and there was amazing and still within our slightly limited budget. I would 100% reccomend going here for your appliance needs, we are already looking at something else from them for the future, thanks again David!

You told us it would cost to return the damaged dryer even though you delivered it damaged.Bad service, sent us a broken dryer that we paid $300 extra to get here sooner then didnt arrive for two more months past the date they told us. The one they sent us came broken, and now we have to wait 7-10 more business days for them to get the part in, then wait to repair it. for this $1000 dryer that got here months late. Told us they could do a refund but we would have to pay over $150 to restock it. Even though this brand new expensive dryer doesnt work.I’m glad they showed us their true colors on our second appliance from them before we re did all of our kitchen appliances. now our friends/family know not to replace any of their appliance with dvd.

My order was to be delivered 9/17/21; no show. Called DVD and was told the order was cancelled which was news to me. Up to 4 week to get a refund. If it was canalled earlier why wasnt the refund sent then. Total waste of time.

Purchased a new dishwasher, got 10 years out of the old one (also purchased at DVD in 2011). The delivery/installers were friendly, courteous, and on-time. They had the old one removed, new one installed and old one loaded for takeaway, probably took no more than an hour. Very pleased! Almost all of our major appliances have come from DVD, hard to beat their extended warranty.

Tremendous customer service—David was amazing. We were looking for a new washing machine, and he went out of his way to help us make the right decision. He even took us to the back area to show us the same model that had a slight dent in it so that we could save some money.

Brought in the wrong stove and had it almost setup before I caught it, they did have the correct stove on the truck, just took extra time to change out. One of the guys only was wearing a mask that covered his mouth, not his nose. On the plus side, really happy with the new stove, sales person was very knowledgeable and the stove delivers what he said.
We had done our research, but the gentleman was helpful and answered the questions we did have. We have to wait for our purchase. Apparently covid is slowing down production. They do need to update their website. It said they had one on the floor.
Sales man at the store was patient and informative at first, but I was given some false information. Asked to speak with a manager and was told he is super busy. I left my information for a call back and still havent heard from him. The gentleman who did delivery and set-up was very friendly and polite. He is the reason I gave 2 stars instead of none.

Drove a 45 mins to the wearhouse after being told be there at 8am. Was there half hr early watched several people go in. About 10 til 8 some lady was staring had locked the door I was told to go in. So 8:15 I called, had me go to another door to walk back where I was to begin with and just to find out that exact same part i called about the day before was not in stock! Very rude people and terrible experience

The salesman seemed very knowledgeable. We assumed we would have to order the washer but it was in stock. Simple directions were given to the warehouse and the appliance was ready when we pulled in. Everyone wore masks. This is our second purchase at the Wabash store. We will go again.
Had bought from them for both home and rentals for years. Recently purchased stainless steel kitchen appliances for a rehab rental. An inoperative microwave that had been a floor model was delivered to us. When discovered when tenant moved in we were told by DVD serviceman that was not repairable. We presumed this would be made good. Instead they accused us of dropping it which we did not. We complained to BBB and also contacted an attorney. I am so disappointed in their lack of service and caring about a good PRIOR customer. Never again!
Bought a washer and dryer it took them three months to get a dryer they originally said would be here in a few weeks. Tried to return and buy a new set and said it would take 2 weeks to get back the cash I paid for the unit. Would not work with me at all. I felt like they had a nice showroom with a lot of options and sales person was easy to work with and I do like the included warranty so I gave 2 stars but My advice is to make sure they have something in stock or be prepared to be without your order for longer than they tell you.
Dave was awesome to work with. VERY knowledgeable about many of their products. The purchasing was easy and the price was great. Luckily they had what I wanted in stick and will have it installed in less than 2 weeks. The 5/10 warranty makes the purchase even easier.

Great experience from choosing all new kitchen appliance to many delays in my remodel due to the pandemic and other issues to months later finally having the appliances delivered as soon as the remodel allowed. Dishwasher couldn’t be installed due to island install delay. DVD install guy returned to complete the dishwasher install as soon as I called and now it all looks great. When refrigerator was delivered, delivery guy noticed a scratch. He reported it and the water tray was replaced quickly at no charge. Excellent experience in all aspects.

Communication or the lack of it, has made this experience awful. Voicemail is an effective way to communicate. Calling from an unknown number will be ignored by most people and most phones are now equipped with the option to send unknown callers directly to voicemail.Customer service call center records when they call you but they do not document when you call them. CS representatives argued with me that I did not call them back.They have now been here 4 times and the appliance still does not work.Don’t get me started about the lack of wearing a mask, using shoe covers...
I ordered a dryer and had a delivery date set. The day before delivery they call to tell me they dont have the dryer and they wouldnt have dryer till May!! I just asked for a refund to find something at another store not waiting that long
I needed to repair a broken ring inside the dryer that was cash hung and ruining my clothes. I scheduled appointment on the phone, technician called me 45 minutes before arriving to my house (exactly as I asked so I can run home from work).Technician was courteous, professional and came on time as we discussed. He had a part in his van. Dryer was fixed in under an hour for a reasonable price.If I have any problems with any of my appliances I know whom I am going to call

Good overall. However, why were the delivery men not wearing masks? I assumed that in the midst of a PANDEMIC, and seeing me in my mask (for their protection), they would have clued in to the state health guidelines of wearing masks. This is especially vexing as I was told by the sales associate that masks would be worn. How can the workers assume to understand the health situation of a personal residence? They did put on masks after I asked them to put them on. I’m just wondering why the customer has to ask. Shouldn’t we all be following the guidelines for public health?
Very good service. The repairman called when he was on his way to my house, just like I had been told he would. He was friendly and knowledgeable and he had the part to fix my oven when he came out on the service call.

Service technician was very capable and done a good job. I was displeased with not giving a timetable the day before the service. At least morning or afternoon. Something you should be able to do to better serve your customers and eliminate them waiting all day wondering what time they would be here.

We live in Decatur and had a HORRIBLE experience with the Decatur store. I called the Springfield store on Wabash. I spoke to Rachel, she was absolutely wonderful, apologized for Decatur’s rudeness and went way over the top to help us. I called to leave a compliment for her with the manager but it was to many loop holes to jump through just to leave her a good compliment. WAY TO GO RACHEL
This is the place to buy appliances. Ask for Travis and youre going to get the most personable and knowledgeable salesperson ever. He answered all of our questions and was able to match the price of one store and beat the price of another. Their warranty cant be beat, and the exceptional service they provide is refreshing. I walked out of the store feeling like I couldnt have gotten a better deal and my wife got exactly what she wanted.
