I do a bunch of different crafts including wire wrapping, knitting and crochet. They have an ok selection of yarn but the wire selection is sorely lacking. The younger staff members are unhelpful. It’s sad that this is the only craft store in the area and I’d rather drive 20 minutes to find somewhere else with a better selection. They could do much more business considering they have the market cornered up here so I guess this location is just poorly managed.

Remember if 7 things are in the clearance section and you give someone a problem when you are in the wrong, a 1 star review is what you deserve. Rude manager.

This Michaels location’s staff was so helpful! I went in the other day looking for a frame for a picture of me and that blonde chick from One Direction that i took when I was in Austin for my court hearing (for the record- I DIDNT hit that old woman with my car on purpose). team member, Kat, helped me find one that matched the picture perfectly with the aesthetic I was looking for. thank you Kat!

Can be a bit overpriced even with the coupons sometimes. Floral selections and seasonal items are usually on sale near the end of the season.

Unfortunately Michaels took over A Moore. It is too large for their inventory so it looks empty. The staff, when you can find someone, is extremely unhelpful and cashiers can be very nasty to younger customers. Definitely a thumbs down!!!!younger

Staff is absolutely brain dead!!! Michaels is a joke compared to what AC Moore use to be…. No one here can answer a single question. Hands down the worst arts and crafts store I’ve ever been in.

As the only remaining big brand art store in Rockland, their stock is pathetic. The new store is so poorly designed. It’s a shame that art students and college students can’t even find basic materials here. Go to Blick Art instead.

Very surprised at how well this place is run! Lots of costomers. 5 cashiers to handle the volume & keep people spaced. Great products. Did a perfect job of framing my artwork. A little expensive but worth every penny. Ill go back.

Its easy to save money here. Get the app and a store loyalty card and also any coupons you can find. The store is pretty inspiring to me too. Just take a walk around and especially if youre a creative like me, youll be inspired to try other craft projects.

This place is great it has everything you need for any project in your home craft needs. Paint paper pencils frames. It has everything.

Good store to pick up any little things you may need, from buttons to model cars and planes. Glues, paints, canvases, brushes, sewing supplies, and all sorts of little things you may need for different houshold repairs that come up. They also have all sorts of models and building activities for kids of all ages. They now have drive up also if you need.

I always like Michaels. I am by no means artistic. But I always find something useful there. And the prices are good.

Needed to have a simple poster dry mounted at a reasonable fee and a reasonable time. The frame department was able to accommodate me. very reasonably and in a short period of time. Would definitely recommend them and will be using them again.

Im a traveling electrician. I brought my dremel tool and my cricuit maker to keep me occupied while at the hotel room. And they have plenty of supplies and other crafts to help keep me busy.

This Michaels unlike other locations did not have the basic baking supplies. They did not even have a candy thermometer or a simple round silicone mold. Also the line was very short for this kind of store. There were only 2 people in front of me, but it took at least 20 minutes and when I went to check out the young woman was decently (at the least) rude. Also the Michael’s at Interstate Shopping center has much better quality products and like 3 baking isles.

Michaels is a place you can find just about anything for your arts and crafts projects.They have a nice selection of all types of things. However since they do cover so many areas theres a limit to the variety within each category of items.So while they all types of items are available, they arent specializing in every field of arts and crafts, so your selection may be limited.Theres ample parking and the staff is nice.

Every time Ive gone there lately, they never have anything Im looking for. Seed beads and safety pins are hard to find!!;

Truly an amazing place to shop for arts and crafts while we found the item it had a slight damage on it so we ask for the manager if she can check in the back and see if they possibly have a replacement and sure enough she went in the back and looked all over until she found a replacement it just shows how they will go the extra mile to make the customer happy.

Visited a few times, usually has the items I need. Some of the staff have a little attitude, but overall okay to say the least. Large location to go to with plenty of stock that is in great condition. I got a planner and florals to make my hair pieces (great selection on flowers). Each visit, there was usually one register open and waited in line, but not for too long.

Arlene in the custom framing shop does great work. I recommend her if you are getting something framed.This is a large Michaels with good variety; the silk flowers, paper craft, and scrapbooking sections are robust. Usually there are long checkout lines here.

Had what my wife needed and the line was short. As an added bonus they let her stack coupons which makes her over the moon excited.

Its a large store. I went in for frames and they had an extensive collection which was great! Dont forget to look up coupons on their website while youre on line

Great craft store, they offer nice classes. You can buy most of your cake decorating baking goods there. Also, you can buy all kinds of scrapbooking stuff. Before the holidays they update and have holiday related decor and stuff

The place is very clean and well lighted. The goods can be unreasonably priced but there are clearance items for good deals. The staff there are not always present or available. It is not usually very busy. There is a wide variety of things to buy that are suitable for everyone, including children and professional artists. They sell sports and other recreational goods. There are very neat rows and aisles that make shopping for specific things and browsing easy and quick. A suitable amount of cashiers is always present so lines do not usually take too long.

The customer service at Michaels in Spring Valley is horrendous. They are understaffed and often have only one person in the store while the other(s) eat lunch or presumably work in the back. Good luck finding anything or getting in-and-out quickly. The lines can be long and slow. Their selection is good, but again, the service is extremely unpleasant and therefore I try to avoid it whenever possible.

Clean, friendly staff. Great variety of craft materials. I actually bought my Christmas tree last year from here. A most go for any one that loves arts and crafts.

They had what I needed,but I went after dark and they need to fix their parking lot lights. No lights is unsafe!

Love Michaels! They always have coupons so make sure that you check before you go. You can also go online and show the coupon on your phone (they will even text you to coupon).The people at this location are very nice and have always been very helpful!

I brought in a piece of art to be framed 2 weeks ago, spent about $500 on the framing. Didnt get a call, so I reached out to them and they told me my print was ready. When I went to pick it up, 3 of the 4 corners of my print were damaged, along with a side. Im guessing whoever handled it didnt know it was going to be floating so they werent careful with it, but its completely unacceptable either way. The piece is a PP from 2011, and when you can find them for sale, they go for several thousand dollars. I have taken several pieces from this artist to other Micheals without incident so I didnt think much of taking it here...but Im beside myself at this point. I left it and the person working said they would see what they could do. Not sure how to proceed with them on this if they cant fix it.
