Five stars, as always! I love going to this location any time I need to rent a trailer, which is about every other month. The staff is fantastic! Very friendly, informative and hard-working!

I rent a trailer fir 6 hours they charged me two days and almost 100.00$ For something that was supposed to cost 30.00 dollars. I called to find out why and they said even though I brought it back the same day, and it was there when they arrived the next morning, they charged me a second day because I never checked it on online. Which I was never told I was supposed to do and had never done before and have rented numerous uhauls. I will never rent from this location again, as they are crooks!

No one answers the phone in a timely manner. Local numbers dont go to the stores; they get transferred to a national call center. Wait time is nearly an hour. Roadside service is a joke! Its more than an hour wait for the phone, which says for immediate service, go online.... Going online is a longer wait than the phone call. I tried calling the local store, got the call center, asked to be transferred to the actual store, and they transferred me back to the contact center. WHAT?!

I gave you one star because it wouldnt let me write a review without a rating. I received the worst customer service of my life today from a young woman on 3rd Ave. Spokane facility. I made my reservation on line, completed online check-in, and called the number in the text I received to verify. While checking in I realized all of their hidden charges increased the cost of my rental of less than 24 hours by $130.00! When I got this person on the phone I attempted to address this issue and the pick up/drop off location change. Never even got that far. This woman was so rude and condescending I told her directly her customer service skills sucked, and if she didnt start treating me better I would hang up and cancel my order. SHE HUNG UP ON ME AND CANCELLED MY RESERVATION. I have spent thousands of dollars with U-haul over the years, but they will never receive one more penny from me.

Always busy with less stuff to help you. If you are willing to wait more than 45 mins just to get the key of the truck even when you already check in online, then this is the place for you! Also they dont respect the line and start accepting people who are cutting the line. I would not be going here anymore!!

The manager was totally awesome helped me out in everyway even wired me up after noticing my wiring wouldnt work with their wires. Went to pay him for his time to rewire he refused. So told him to go to lunch on me gave him 20$. Good kid just got promoted and great customer service all around even with other customers coming in behind me... People person will always rent from midtown... U have a team leader running the show for sure dont let this one go for any reason... He is an asset to theU-haul company.... There was only one person working in the facility on a busy summer Saturday. There needed to be at least four to handle the volume. When I got the vehicle home they key they provided wouldn’t unlock the padlock on the back. This forced me to drive back to the understaffed facility to get the to open the padlock. I was charged time and mileage for their inoperative lock. When I returned the vehicle after three hours, there were nine people in line ahead of me, and still one employee. In disgust I just tossed the keys on the counter and left. When I got the bill I had been charged almost $100 for a three-hour rental. The service was terrible, and the bill unjust.

GM William was great and worked with me when I needed a rental extension and when there was undocumented damage, would recommend renting from this location. Looks like its in good hands.

I work here and I agree we do want to serve everyone,we need more parking. Our staff is very friendly and helpful.

I never had such a bad experience I had today to use u-haul rental. Customer service is terrible. Employees has total lack of communication. I will never use u haul and not recommend to my friends.

Personnel was great but the van was kind of slow. I recommend putting in an 80 mm 12 PSI turbo in it.

Very helpful location with plenty of stock to choose from should you need anything from a cross country move to a 2 hour in town one. Only gripe is that the staff is very limited and the manager helping me was stretched very thin between everyone. But other than that I had no issue at all

I have to rate atleast 1 star or I wouldnt. Absolute shady place. I rented a 10 box with a total milage route of 14.7 miles. They charged me 50 miles. That was insane, they didnt do thier job correctly and i paid the price. Odometer is all jacked up. Be diligent and check milage using GPS to verify odometer reading. Another gal in front of me was charged $75 more than quoted. I am not done fighting this. DO NOT DO BUSINESS AT THIS LOCATION... Unless you have money to line some shady dudes pockets....

A reservation is no guarantee. Paid for a truck in advance only to be informed that we could pick it up in Moses Lake, while getting charged additional miles. Customer service is also trash.

The online check-in process didn’t work at all and instead I had to do it all over again at the very busy counter. The employees there are doing the best they can because I don’t think they’re given the tools/technology to do any better.

Terrible service. I called the day before committing to the rental to make sure I knew the process and was assured yes the truck would be available and someone would be onsite 24 hours. Despite the reassurance, when I arrived the next day at 7:30 PM to pick up the van (they close at 8) NO ONE WAS THERE. I even attempted to do the mobile pick up and it was directing me to go inside to pick up keys. I wasted a night putting my trust in this place. Luckily the customer service line was able to cancel my order the next day and I did receive a refund. Recommendation for your business: Dont lie to people!

The website is confusing but i don’t blame this location for that, both boys there were very helpful in helping me get my truck and the keys even though i signed up to do it myself and got confused. unprofessional of me to ask for their numbers so i didn’t

I found this locations to be top notch for Storage. I was working in Spokane for about 9 months, and had a storage unit at this location. Fantastic experience!

BEWARE OF SURPRISE CHARGES! Made a reservation online for Friday morning thru Sunday afternoon, was quoted a price of ~$193 before add-ons. Didnt learn until Friday morning AFTER pickup that we had to return it by 8am on Sunday to avoid the fee for the extra day. We didnt have time to go look elsewhere so we kept using the van. Tried to resolve the issue at the drop-off Uhaul but they refused. Ended up paying an extra $60 because they didnt disclose their cut-off time online. Had I known ahead of time I might have gone with another company, which is probably why they werent up-front about it. Location is also in a sketchy part of town & looks pretty run-down.

Mobile app is a total waste. I did the check in on my phone. Approval process once info was submitted took 4 minutes. Then the app told me to go inside, skip the line and pick up my key. I’m not a Neanderthal, so of course I didn’t walk past everyone waiting in line, and was stuck waiting for 20 minutes to pick up the key, WHICH WAS NOT INSIDE AT ALL, but in a lockbox on the truck window. Why didn’t the app just give me the code to the lock box?!? Totally inefficient. Very unsatisfied.

I came in to get my hitch on my vehicle fixed that another uhaul installed incorrectly. Very happy with the service, and would recommend.

Wow... where do I even start. Management is terrible, Eric Nicklas, the manager, has absolutely no morals whatsoever. Not only is the customer not right, but they are wrong until proven innocent. They dinged me for multiple fees and damages that were completely unnecessary. Charged me over $400 for damage I did not do and never provided me pictures showing the condition of the truck before or after the damage I did. When I called to ask questions about this said damage, he said you can call and complain but I will not be giving a refund before I even had a chance to ask about the charges. Dont use these guys if possible, they will do everything they can to get every penny out of you.

I have always had great experiences here. In the past year I have rented a 15-foot truck twice and have yet to run into any issues. I recommend this U-haul location and I would use their services again if needed.

It took an hour and 15 minutes to rent the truck. Your system would not accept payment. I had to go to my bank and withdraw $100.00. The truck was filthy. The interior had something that covered the windshield with a film that made it hard to see the road in sunlight. The contract said that there was 3/4 of a tank of gas. I drove a 1/4 mile and 50 miles to empty warning appeared. The back interior of the truck was covered in dirt. I notified the lot attendant who offered to mop it out. I refused since I had already wasted an hour and 15 minutes trying to rent the truck. The location did not have anything in place to handle the situation caused by your system being down. Somebody went to get forms from another location. This is not the first time that I have a bad experience with your company. Its sad to see a company with such a rich history being ran in such a way. I will no longer be renting from your company.

Trust the reviews when they say to not come here. I didn’t. This place is awful. Objected to my payments and charges because they were not accurate and didn’t show my military discount. General manger Eric wanted to refund me $20 in exchange for the over $100 I got charged extra. Horrible service and hidden fees everywhere.

1/2 hr to check in online. Then an hour to get out of the store. Extremly slow service. I checked in online but, that did speed up service here. This guy is so slow. I hope I never have to come back here. Maybe you need to hire some people to work here. Theres a line going out the door now and no associates even in the store. No, never coming back to this location.Turns out the beat up cargo trailer break and turn lights were not working. So they send me 7 miles to another location who didnt even have a cargo trailer. This location is like being in the ghetto. Very bad vehicles and service. They took my money and havent returned it yet. Corporate gave me a 15$ gift card for their very bad service but, this whole fiasco cost me $450.00. I will never use them again for my business. They are undepenable.

Dont rent from this location. Even if you book in advance they wont have your vehicle available and youll be stuck either getting a different model or waiting forever for one to become available. In my case, my phone app even identified the specific vehicle that I had registered for in the lot ... but the teller approached me with the keys and said it was for someone else, got in, and drove off.Then, they will also sneak or extra charges (like additional insurance that I denied TWICE during the process), that they still managed to tack onto my rental.... Normally when a company tries to scam me with extra charges like that, I stand my ground and take the time to fight and get it removed ---- but moving is exhausting and I didnt have the energy for the battle..... I suspect they know that and prey on people. Stay away.

The agents were very nice however I arrived for my appointment at 10am waited 2hrs to come back and see my car hasn’t been touched to find out they did not have the right part. I would have appreciated if they had checked their inventory before my appointment so I’m not waiting around with 2 babies for no reason.

We made an appointment online. the day of comes around and we’re told the part isn’t in. schedule for the following day at 12p. get a message in the morning that we missed our 9:30a appointment and that the installer left. reschedule again for the following day at 9a and are told after we got there that the installer called out sick. reschedule AGAIN for the following day and they begin to work on installing the hitch and that it should take about 2 hrs. it’s been 5 hrs. when we go to check in we are given vague excuses about the wiring and how we may have to take it to a dealer. they said they would let us know in five minutes what we would need to do and it’s been 20 minutes...AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

With snow coming down and me in a panic to tow a disabled car. The two guys on duty were friendly and very helpful to get me a car dolly out the door safely before the snow got worse. Thank you!

I rented a 15-foot U-Haul truck in Portland and dropped it off in Spokane at this location around 10 AM, mid-June on a Wednesday. There were a lot of people picking up their reserved trucks, trailers, etc. so I had to wait a bit to get someone to help me complete the check-in process, but I wasnt in a hurry and didnt mind waiting. The gentleman that checked in my vehicle was kind and gave me a discount for having more fuel in the tank than necessary, which I appreciated since I had gone over the amount of miles designated in my reservation. The check-in process was quick and there were no issues.

Ive had 3 interactions with staff just in one weekend and I must say I was impressed with their customer service. Each person I spoke with were equally helpful, personable, and had good attitudes. It really helped especially during this stressful time of moving and finding a place for storage in such a short amount of time. Though I ended up cancelling my reservation, I thought I should write them a review for the excellent service I received, regardless if I did business or not. I would recommend them :)

All things considered, they are not worth it. I had an 11.30 am appointment to install a basic trailer hitch. Got there at 11.00. Then had to wait until 3.30 pm before they could actually get to it. They did offer a 20% discount on the labor portion of the bill... a whopping $13.00 discount! Then got the bill and realized that they charged me $4.00 for a lifetime warranty. WTF, what business charges for a lifetime warranty?

Been waiting 40 min just to get some propane, just to b told they cant operate the pumpYour sign & website says propane 7 days a week thanks so much now I have to propane to heat my home till sat as everyone is closed now & next 2 days for Christmas.

Used a truck for 5 hours. Got charged $100 cleaning fee despite leaving the truck clean. This was my first time using u-haul and the only person I got to talk to had an earbud in the whole time. The parking lot is NOT easy to get in and out of when the place is busy. Wont be using uhaul again.

Their customer service is exceptional! The two guys on staff at the time were very friendly and willing to help; a lady was a bit more matter-of-fact and seemed in a rush, but was still courteous about the matter. After I got the right size of ball on my truck, I found out my electrical hookup was damaged and corroded! They found me a new connector, let me hang out in their lot while I installed it, and even lent me a couple tools I needed to get it wired! After about an hour of them patiently waiting for me to finish, they got me hooked up and ready to go quickly!

I arrived early, waited in line due to there only being one employee on a Saturday morning. The new operator was curtious, however by the time my trailer was connected and ready to go it was an hour after my reservation 0900. He said he would adjust the start time of the rental but argued that it should be 0845.On my return date I recieved a text that the trailer was due at 0800, I called the return location, told him about my rental delay, and that I should be due at 0900, he stated that the check out employee never changed the time and it would be 0845 because thats when it showed the first employee registered me in the computer.I have rented trailers for this exact trip about half a dozen times, never have I had difficulty like this with either location the previous owner/manager in Spokane was always friendly and never hassled me when it came to times due to delays at the location.I arrived 48 hours later, 0900 at the drop off location there was no one outside, the lot was completely full of equipment. I went in, stood and waited a few minutes and until one of three employees relized I was just returning a trailer and could check me in, 0910. I was then charged an extra day rental. $22 bucks

Workers weren’t very helpful. Grabbing the truck took an hour and they forgot to put in a dolly which extended our move out time.

Uhaul costs a bit more than budget but the quality is much better! For 1 you can tow a car trailer with a much smaller truck. 2 the trucks are much cleaner. 3 the trucks are much more comfortable. And 4 better options for drop off. All in all great experience

I scheduled an appointment two weeks in advanced to install a hitch on my car. When I arrived for my appointment, two weeks later, the employee working at the counter told me the part for my hitch wasnt at the store yet and he explained that he didnt notify me because he wasnt sure if it would arrive that day or not. He then said to leave my car there and I would receive a call in a couple of hours to let me know if the shipment arrived. I never got the call. I called four times and wasnt able to reach the store. Someone from U-Haul called back 7 hours after my appointment and 30 min before closing. He apologized and assured me he would personally keep track of the order and call as soon as it arrived . He never called. I called a few weeks later and was told they had no record of my appointment and they must of canceled it. This was one of the weirdest and most unprofessional encounters I have ever had with a business.

I reserved a truck for Saturday when I went to pick it up they didnt have it. Matthew sent me to another uhaul store the wanted a credit card when Matthew said I needed a bank card. Went back to uhaul on 3rd and division to get a van and I had to get a truck too big for what I needed and pay more for it. Just because they messed up.

First try: no employee showed up for their morning shift. We waited nearly an hour before just leaving. Next weekend: no $50 given despite the reservation guarantee from the week before AND was overcharged on gas even after having an employee verify and write on my contract that the tank was only 7/8 full when received. I brought it back with MORE gas than I started with, but was charged for it not being full. Manager did not respond to multiple messages last week, so I am forced to leave a negative review. All employees I did talk to were very nice and seemed to want to be helpful, but so far no one has actually been able to help. Actual employee in the store when I went there the second time said he couldnt do anything but I needed to call when the manager is working. Calling the store connects me to a call center, and they can only direct me to customer service or message the store. Customer service says they can write notes in my file, but the manager of the store is responsible for resolving my issues... these breakdowns in management and service are unacceptable. I would rather buy a truck than use u-Haul again.

I reserved a truck and when I showed up it had a flat tire. They switched me into a different truck which I discovered there was no dolly in this one. I was charged for one though. And I was charged a 50$ gas fee after filling the truck up with more gas than when I received the truck. I called the manager to dispute it and he said he would take care of it and refund me the money. After days of no activity on my credit card I called and talked to the manager again and he said there was an issue with my card and bank that wasn’t letting him refund me. After a few more days of hearing nothing I went into the store and got my 50$ refund. I am still waiting to be refunded for my dolly. This has been a very frustrating process and I know the manager had no intention of refunding me but instead hoping I would forget about it or just give up. Terrible business.... and feels very understaffed. I will not go back to this location

DO NOT LET UHAUL INSTALL HITCHES AND WIRING ON YOUR VEHICLES! They do not know a lick about the towing world and they manufacture garbage wiring. The staff is not trained to even possibly know what actually should be installed wiring wise on different rigs. They maybe cheaper but there is a reason. Spend an extra $150-200 and get wiring that actually matches your vehicle and hitches that actually fit and function under your rig.

Managers do not trust employees with cash/safe. Paying cash is frowned upon. A manager is required to rent the truck and to redeem deposit, which isn’t made clear at all. Terrible corporation. Penske on Sprague is sooooooooo much better.

The Employees here are courteous to customers in attendance but also ones incoming, they were helpful and even allowed me to pick the auto transport up a day early. The transport was in great condition for my needs. This U- Haul could use a bigger lot for parking and service, but the employees versatile abilities overcome any obstacle presented by all customers and I compliment them for their greatness.

Moving is such a stressful time.especially around the holidays.i probably wasnt the easiest customer to deal with I was extremely frustrated and thankfully Derrik was working.i talked with one employee who really had no interest in giving any kind of customer service but Derrik took over and even through my frustrations always had a smile on his face.his customer service is amazing.he needs some recognition.he sould be a manager because I promise you if he hadnt helped me.this review would be completely different and I would have never went back.but Derrik helped me through everything and my experience was saved because of him. He was so nice and understanding of the frustrations of moving. Some of the best customer service Ive ever had. Give this man a raise!

Went to this place on August 22 2019.. I went there to get my truck wired for a plug needed to pull my tent trailer. They took off and replaced it with the exact same plug that came with the truck and not the plug that I wanted for my Tent trailer charged me for the part and labor on it too. Lol. In the end I did get the part that I needed and installed. But got hung up on when ask for an explanation of the bill, and why I was being charged for them putting on the same working part that was already on the truck, and the part that I needed.

These guys were fantastic, especially Tyler! Helpful, knowledgeable and their customer service was top of the line. Going forward I wont rent from anyone else in Spokane.

The person who help us was great for her second day of work, but the general manager was horrible with us!.. customer service was giving us a promotional price and the manager Melissa said she will override it and charge us the full price!.. so we end up paying for the full price!..We dont mind paying for the full price but just the fact that she was so unhelpful and she threatened us to override if we get the promotional price from the corporate customer service make our experience very uncomfortable! Even the lady that was helping us apologize for the way the manager Melissa treated us!..I wont rent from this location anymore!..

U-haul is a weird business, Ive used a dozen or so around the country and Ive had small problems with each one, nothing detrimental tho.Ive rented a truck three times from this location now and have never had an issue. The first two times I made a reservation online a week or two in advance, truck was ready at specified time of pick up.This particular location is interesting; it epitomizes the grungy downtown scene. The workers have always been polite and on the ball, but yeah, at first glance youre not sure if theyre going to rent you a truck or steal your car.

TOOK OVER AN HOUR TO BE HELPED FOR AN ONLINE RESERVATION!! After I was checked in after an hour, I had to wait ANOTHER 20 minutes because my trailer was stuck behind this truck ...so because of lack of space i had to wait an additional 20 minutes to get hooked up to the trailer 10 feet from my truck...Then after getting it hooked up, I had to make 4 SEPARATE TRIPS BACK AND FORTH into the shop because they had to reenter my info that was done all online already, done at check in, and done at check out TWICE because of the system. VERY unprofessional and unorganized...their online Express check in wont load on the website and made absolutely no difference in wait time or process...needed to have a different drop off location and it wouldnt give me the option to change it. Only one person working front desk on a weekend morning?? 14 people in line, no where to park on site, people were literally parking in the street. Avoid this location at all costs. Watched others being totally ignored and misdirected..

I reserved a car hauler from this place at 9:47 am w confirmation. when i showed up at 1.30 pm to pick up .The new employees were as helpful as they were trained to be.They helped me find my reservation and hooked up the car hauler to my truck. However when it came down to payment and logistics the general manager lady reprimanded the new employees behind the till for F.....g up the reservation for approx 5 min. she then stated shes off the clock so? i asked what could be done about my trailer i reserved? she said i could get one from a different rental . when i showed my distaste for the situation and her un professionalism. she asked me aint i peachy? i said no more than her . So she kicked me out w the trailer still hooked up. So i had some words w her, unhooked the trailer and left. 00000000 stars

I rented an open trailer to haul a couch. I specifically told the agent that I only wanted it for 24 hours and that I did NOT want to return it to this location. When I went to return it to the other location it had been entered on the original contract to return to the downtown location. The agent at my chosen drop off was on hold with customer service for for 40min!! And hung up out of frustration. When I called the location that rented the trailer to me they said tough luck youre gonna get charged a wrong location fee and could not change it so I could drop it off locally. Isnt that the whole point of UHaul??? What if I had taken it to 500 miles away? When I told Uhaul corporate that I was NEVER going to rent from Uhaul again they said OK. If I could leave zero stars I would!!!!

Take your business to Budget or Penske. Uhaul is a joke and not reliable. This particular location likes to add extra charges.

Probably the worst experience you can have. I dropped off my vehicle at noon for a hitch installment which takes two 1/2hrs. I parked my car on the street because there was no where to park. I walked to the nearest Starbucks waited two hours and called to check but got no answers. I decided to wait another hour and i walked over. My car was sitting in the exact place on the street where i left it with no hitch. I walked in and there’s a guy eating a sandwich, when he realized they forgot about my car they tried to make it up to me and said they would get it done in 45 mins. Well after finishing his sandwich in the back of my car and two hours later it was done. I spent 6 hours getting my car fixed. Stay far away from this place. It’s located in a convenient spot but it’s just dirty and unprofessional!

Staff was friendly and efficient. We were told our truck needed to be returned with a full tank of gas - standard practice. However, the truck we were given didnt have a full tank.That being said, the truck and other items were clean and in good repair.

So I was in a bind to get my wiring harness fixed on my trailer and even though they had many customers set up for today Jessica recognized I needed help and went above and beyond and got right to work on my trailer. She took great initiative on winning a customer for today and for the future.

I was charged for driving 300 miles when I only drove, at most,15 miles in town. I will probably never use U-hauls services again after this.

I requested a 15 foot U-Haul truck about a month before my expected moving date. I received a call from the corporate number confirming I had a truck at this location. When I arrived there I was told there was no truck for me and that there was no trucks available anywhere in the area. I was to drive to Moscow Idaho (3 hours or so round trip). The employee looked dumbfounded when I told him I do not want to do that. They were also extremely rude during the entire process on location and did not once apologize for the situation. At least budget had a truck I was able to get same day in order to complete the move.

I will never use U-Haul ever again, especially this specific location. They falsely charged me an extra day of rental. The fact is that I returned the rental truck the exact same day I rented it. I learned not to trust the after hours key dropbox. When I called them to challenge the charge, I got nowhere. I drove down to this specific location where I originally rented the truck from & calmly explained the issue in person. The worker said he was too busy & would review the video footage & call me back. He never did. I gave U-Haul plenty of business in the past, but never again.

I called to see if my order was ready and ended up with two people who answer the phones but werent at the store which really made me mad because how are you supposed to get any questions answered....was supposed to get a call back and never did. I go in and wait 20 minutes for help well people working ignore me walking around outside. They of course didnt have the order ready. Once I realized how big the boxes were I wanted to exchange them. This nice new girl tried to help and it ended up taking at least a half hour well the people with experience ignored the fact that she needed help and helped other people well I sat there. She was great but most of the people didnt look very professional and werent very nice or helpful. I personally wont go back and I think its smart to have just people to help inside then outside people so customers dont have to wait forever to pick up boxes...

Don’t bother to come here for propane as hard to say when they are able to sell you any.

Zachary Armstead and his assistant on Monday May 20th 2019 provided excellent service for us. Our Volvo XC90 required wiring to be installed so we could tow a closed trailer. We were short on time to move from Spokane to the Eastside. The store was well stocked with supplies. The staff was helpful, polite and friendly. Zachary explained everything to us. This place sucks. I made a reservation a month in advance and when I got there they didnt have the part I needed and told me well youre out of luck. After driving around to find the part I returned to find the trailer they moved up front for me, they had given away. And then I had the lovely experience of going through their broken trailers to find one that worked and then they blew the fuse in my truck. After they fixed that I was asked to go inside to finish the paperwork and found to my surprise there were no employees in side and a line of 10 people in front of me. 15 minutes later one employee came in and I spent another 40 minutes in line. They were also incredibly rude. DO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!

We rented a trailer to haul behind the truck while moving from Washington to Texas.They hooked it up wrong so half way through the trip a chain came disconnected and was dragging on the freeway creating sparks. They also told us they were going to add a couple of days to the truck rental for free. But when we got to Texas from Spokane we found out they hadnt. They never answer the phone when we call and were always rude when we came in. The downtown Spokane location is TERRIBLE!!! They should restaff the place. Go to any other location if possible.

The people seemed nice enough. But I bought a new ball and hitch while renting a trailer and dolly at this location for an interstate move. The worker installed the ball for me. I could hear the torque wrench while he was in the shop to doing it. So, I figured he knew what he was doing, and that the ball would be properly tightened. By the time I traveled 400 miles, the nut was almost off the ball shaft, and the situation was downright dangerous. Not only had he not properly tightened the ball nut, he installed it incorrectly with the washers in the wrong order and didn’t even use the cotter pin that Uhaul brags about coming with the ball. Not only could this have caused serious property damage, it could have led to a serious, potentially fatal accident. I will never trust Uhaul personnel again, and I would caution anyone else against doing so.

Slow, inefficient, and completely disrespectful to their customers. U-haul may be the cheapest, but its worth paying more for a different rental company

Called them to rent an auto transport and Thomas the idiot on the other end told me that their trailer couldn’t handle the weight of a 2006 Subaru Tribeca so decided I’d go into another location and guess what I got a auto transport. This guy is either missing a few screws in his head or someone needs to look into this location because I’ve towed heavier cars with their auto transport. And might I add I asked to speak with the manager and he said HE was the manager if he really is than he’s doing quite the pathetic job. I’d avoid this store if possible U-Haul is great but this guy is not.

The worst in my opinion. For decades I have hired U-Haul to install hitches and hitch wiring on my vehicles. NEVER again. After my last experience they removed and lost the battery cover and a rubber hood bumper on my car. The installer took them off for wiring but never put them back on. He also gouged the body of my car trying to remove the tail light assembly. General Manager Jaime Lopez promised to either find the lost parts or replace them and fix the gouge. He did neither. After many failed attempts to call Jaime, I stopped by the Third Avenue store again. Jaime requested that I purchase the lost parts from the dealer and he would reimburse me from the receipt. He didnt.After many more failed attempts to contact Jaime Lopez I attempted to speak with Regional Manager Cassie Schaub. Cassie Schaubs gatekeeper, Ginger promised me call-backs twice. They never happened.In my mind U-Haul has seemingly gone down the Great Swirly and I will never trust them to do anything for me again.

Great staff. Very friendly but they failed to reserve the right equipment and vehicle though the reservation was correctly in their system. Then I parked my vehicle in their parking lot and returned to find the engine vandalized and they rifled through everything ii my car, but the dumb criminals tried to remove the battery but failed. They also missed an envelope with lottery tickets and $70 cash. They made it undrivable by cutting the battery cables.

Whatever you do, don’t reserve a truck from this location. Staff is unhelpful and obstinate. Reserved a truck through 24/7. It wasn’t assigned when I got there that morning. Called and spoke with a Zach, who assigned a different bigger truck. That truck turned out to be parked in by another truck. After a rough truck pickup we got our stuff and loaded up. About halfway between Spokane and Seattle the truck needed gas so I pulled over and started to fill up, only to discover that the fuel line, brake line, and vacuum line had been cut while being stored at Uhual! We spent the day before Thanksgiving waiting on mechanics and finally a tow truck. The truck got towed to Seattle the next day but not in time for our move in reservation (tow truck driver said he overslept). With all of our dishes on the truck we couldn’t make Thanksgiving dinner either! So it had to be towed to a Uhual location and towed back the next day. Finally on Black Friday we got our stuff back and unpacked.Throughout the whole ordeal this Spokane location and Zach in particular was incredibly unhelpful to the point of being comical. Zach sounds and acts like he should be in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Beware, he will give you the run around and lie to your face. Do not use this Uhual location, however convenient it may be.
