Country Homes was the second place I contacted for a quote on a gas fireplace insert. They were about the same but I have enjoyed dealing with the people at CH so much more!Soft skills is a real thing and Gerryβs phone skills are great! I think in 15 minutes we were able to discuss my options and pricing and benefits of add ons (he answered all of my questions willingly)PLUS we still had time to discuss classic rock and remakes!!! Just like talking with a friend or someone you have done business with many times before.Gerry had Nate come out to my house to take measurements and Nate was extremely professional and calm. He came with a mask on which is very much appreciated! He was skilled at going from A to B taking measurements and explaining how he would connect to my existing gas line in the basement and then go outside to tap into the fireplace that way and the different pipe materials that would be used. He was very patient with my questions and was very polite and fun to meet.I am looking forward to having a gas fireplace that will work in a power outage and I wonβt have to worry about chopping logs πͺ΅
These guys are absolutely amazing at sales (you will have purchased some thing before you know it!). However, donβt expect the same treatment at all if you need a repair.I called them before I was going to leave in the winter for four months and asked if they suggested draining my hot tub. They said yes, itβs very easy. I said the minute someone says that I know itβs not, so I kept them on the phone with me while I drained the hot tub and used a ShopVac to suction all of the jets. Lo and behold one of the horizontal pipes mustβve had some water left in it because it cracked. When we returned home and I called them, the long story short is that it took me over three months of emails and phone calls to get them out here to do the repair. Then I get a bill for over $1200.!To pay over $10,000 for a hot tub, use it for three months, and then get an additional bill for over $1200 just seems ludicrous.Hereβs my suggestion: First of all, I would suggest never trying to drain your hot tub yourself, and secondly, if you need any repairs donβt go back to Country Homes Power. (The chances of a warranty covering your repair, even on a brand new high end (Marquis) hot tub, slim to nothing.Hoping no one else has to go through what I did ;o(

We had been waiting to get a hot tub for over a year. We went to a vast majority of the hot tub retailers in Spokane and came back to Country Homes. Sam was great. Unlike the other places we looked at, we didnt have to wait 6-12 months. We had our hot tub quickly delivered. James and Nick were top notch, very friendly and helpful. I have been shopping at Country Homes Power in the valley as well as on the north side for years. But, I recently purchased a smoker and I have to tell you!! The price, the service and the knowledgeable staff made the experience an amazing process. I have been waiting for the new smoker / grille to be delivered! I picked it up on Tuesday and have never been so impressed with such a device. One of the best things about CHP is they have the best price on pellets of anywhere I looked. Most places charge 10-15 per 20lb bag. I even saw Yokes had them for 17.99 per bag. CHP sells them 3 for 15! (Might be 16, I forget). Thatβs like buying one at 15 and getting 2 free!The controls offered for the grille are insane! Most folks think a grille and smoker are 2 different devices. Not this bad boy. Itβs one that does both. Heats up to 670 degrees. Iβm in love! The other nice thingβ¦ is my wife is not a grille user. Which means she can call me and say, I want to cook brats!!! I simply open the app and set it for her! From anywhere! Since I travel a lot this will make her very happy!
Sam was extremely helpful and got our new hot tub delivered within the week. The great service didnβt stop there there. After the sale he helped get us connected with a great electrician who squeezed us into their schedule and then walked me through the chemicals when we powered it up the first timeWhen delivery day came Nick and James arrived on time and worked quickly to get us all set up. They gave great tips for filling the hot tub in preparation for the electrician. And even came back out the following week when we had some voltage issues . It was quickly checked and verified to have breaker problem in the house panel.
Brian and Nate were both super helpful and answered all my questions when I came in to shop for a new snowblower. They have a great service plan, complete set-up, and delivery to my home - nobody else came close to the product quality and customer service offered here.
Our hot tub cover was blown off and broken. Couldnβt find one for 4 months anywhere. Winter is coming. They found me one of their used ones and sold it to me for a great deal. Garth and James rock. And got mineral cartridge for hot tub that is very helpful woth bacteria. Check put their enormous swim spa! Cool!

I recently purchased a Valor brand fireplace gas insert from Country Homes Power. The sales rep for their stove department, Gerry, was patient, knowledgeable, friendly and low key. He always took the time to answer my questions, and didnβt grouse when asking him for quotes on different configurations. I wanted a heat source that would keep me warm the next time a storm knocked out power and that would work without electricity. The Valor 3.5 is a beautiful solution, with flexible design elements to suit most any decor. If you want a good shopping experience with a proven company, then head on up to Country Homes Power.
I just moved to the area and wanted to get a hot tub. I visited several stores (some had no supply and only showed videos) and others had a lot but salespeople were not knowledgeable. This is my second hot tub and I knew from my first experience, I wanted to buy local. Sam from Country Homes - knows his hot tubs! They have a lot of different models on the floor to look at and he took the time to help me make the right purchase. I highly recommend them -Nick and James delivered on time and set it up perfectly as well as giving an awesome tutorial!

I bought a snowblower, lawn mower, chainsaw and a weedeater from them over the years. I will never buy another thing from them again! I had an extra service plan with my snowblower and last year I took it in and was told it would be done in three weeks. When I called to see if it was done they hadnβt even started it and they had no idea how long it would be, I told him I was leaving and wouldnβt be home for over a month. One week later I get a phone call that it was done and they literally left it outside until I got back. This morning I called because Iβve been gone since April and just got back on September 29th, and they wouldnβt honor the service plan because it was only for July and August, the manager Ray literally hung up the phone on me. I wouldnβt do business if he was the only place in Spokane wa. Iβm going to tell everybody that I know and I know a lot of people about the service I got from him!!!!!

Took my $4,500 mower in this month - purchased from them in summer 2020 - for the βcourtesyβ service they do in Januaryβs. I gladly upgraded the service for an additional $95.00 and pointed out a malfunctioning drive arm that needed work. Got the call that it was all done and I specifically confirmed that the issue was fixed because I live south of town and have to drive 30-40 minutes each way. Well, they must not have cared to test it because when they went to load it they found that it was not fixed. People make mistakes and I know equipment doesnβt show itβs problems on every use. Whatβs irritating is that nothing was offered to satisfy the inconvenience of traveling across town with a trailer for no reason on a Saturday. No delivery offered, no waiving of any labor, no store discount, nothing. Only that the part they now say they need to order will be covered under warranty. No kidding?! Customer lost. A personal and commercial customer...lost.

This year I picked out a Husqvarna zero-turn to replace the Cadet--found out that it wasnt the right mowing solution for the size, slope and configuration of my yard; Country Homes (Brian, Ray) without hesitation let me exchange it for a tractor model. I bought a high end Harman pellet stove from Country Homes about 30 days ago. I paid over $5,000 for the stove. After the sale, I asked to have the maintenance procedures demonstrated to me. I was told youtube is the best place to learn how to perform maintenance on the pellet stove. I brought up that the lower ash pan door would not stay closed on itβs own. The latch did not work properly. I was told to make sure the ash pan was properly placed in the stove. It was. I finally had a heavier closing lever fabricated At my expense to solve the problem. While Country Homes has a good sales department, they are very deficient in service after the sale. I am very disappointed in my experience with Country Homes Supply.
Country Homes Power is the worst. Their products have proven to be substandard. And their customer service is beyond awful. When they have done installation work their people are difficult to deal with and their work is at best substandard. There has never been anything that Ive done with them where they have done it quickly and correctly the first time. And when they do get something done it always requires a major hassle. Once theyre finished showing you an item and giving you a hard time about your purchase and finally getting it installed then you have to deal with their customer service as their products are substandard. There has never been a point at which they have been anything but rude. They are generally unavailable to take phone calls and when they do they never follow through. Avoid Country Homes Power at all costs if you value your hard-earned money and your sanity.

Decided to shop here for a snowblower based on some recommendations from friends and family. Products are great and its a one stop shop for purchasing and service. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The friendliness and urgency to help support customers can be hit and miss depending on who you talk to but overall I am happy with my experience.
This place is pretty terrible. Customer service is lacking, Ray at the service counter is extremely rude and blames the customer if anything is ever wrong with any piece of equipment. The mechanics they have there seem to always cut corners or do half a job, nothing ever comes back completely repaired. We spend a lot of money here and have over the years. We will be looking for another place to do business where we are treated with respect and the service rendered on equipment is up to par. I would recommend passing this place and going somewhere else.UPDATE: I do not purchase here personally, I never would after the service I get dealing with this place through the company I work for, which is Rudeen Racing Development and Management. I have brought in, picked up and purchased equipment here as well as signed multiple receipts and dealt with Ray and his poor customer service way too much. My managers are disgusted with the service we get here and are actively looking for someone else. The only frustrating thing is dealing with the incompetence of your establishment. Take a closer look into your system before YOU make false statements next time.
I purchased a very nice Honda walk-behind in 2015. Since then, Ive had them service the mower each spring because you receive 4 coupons for the first 4 years for free servicing of the mower. Once those ran out, you get a discount on a Silver-Service package, which I did. Then this year, I brought it in and had to pay $80 for a Basic service, which consists of steam cleaning the top, sharpening the blades (my model has 2 blades) and an oil change. Now looking back on my experience I feel pretty gullible in believing I was entrusting my mower to the people I bought it from. Maybe I rely too much on the idea that most people are good, honest people. This time for some reason I decided to take a quick peek just at the blades. WOW! They did THE WORST sharpening job I have seen in my LIFE!!! Out of 4 cutting edges they sharpened 1! I put that in quotes because the edge was completely rolled over and producing a metal burr the length of the cutting surface. My guess is they didnt bother to change the oil either, but i dont know for sure.Moral to the story: If you want it done right, do it yourself! Also, thank you Country Homes.for the valuable lesson that I must had forgotten over the years. I rated 5 stars because in the past there was a salesman making verbal agreements in order to close deals. Apparently that salesman no longer works there and now they are working to repair the damage heβs done to their reputation. After speaking with the manager I decided to do a review because he was so nice and kind about my service issue, and worked through the problem quickly and to my benefit.
Put a deposit on a hottub they sold it to someone else they decided to make it up to me by delivering a used tub that leaks said it was brand new and a better model for the same price it was a 5 person tub instead of the 7 and a basic model compared to the fully loaded one that I had a deposit on
My experience is through a family friend. Based off her and her families experience. I personally will not do business with Country Home spas. The spa she ordered was damaged prior to delivery and the company delivered it any way. The service not given to repair the damage has been a nightmare. Now she would just like to return the spa and get her money back and the company is not willing to work with her. Not the type of company I would want to do business with based off her experience.
Took care of my issue with the mower; quoted the initial cost incorrectly by came in under the second quote. Wish they wouldve taken care of my issue with my snow blower but because I didnt buy that particular machine there (bought another snowblower from them), they wouldnt work on it making me have to go to another shop for that. Otherwise, good job.
I always try and source items locally first rather than go directly to Amazon. I called Country Homes Power to see if they had repair parts in-stock for my snow blower. i have the manufacturers part numbers i stated. They asked if i purchased my snowblower from them.... No Direct Buy... Sorry we cant help you due to Covid-19, we are only looking up parts for customers that purchased from us. Granted I have purchased chain saws, edgers, leaf blowers, etc from them over the years yet the snowblower in question was not. Sorry cant help you was the answer from the manager after i called back dumbfounded AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS!!!! Looking through their reviews, it seems commonplace for lack of customer service.

Country Homes Power & Supply seemed to have the highest quality spa and the salesman we worked with was more than helpful. Sam walked us through every step, from finding the right tub, to financing, to delivery and he even calls weekly to make sure we understand how to adjust the chemicals. He refused to sell us a tub until we physically sat in the ones we were interested in. He wanted us to be certain that this purchase was the right one for our family. We have big and small people in our family and he made sure our tub had seating for everyone. We were very impressed with his attention to detail, the quality of service he provided and the ease of use of our new tub. Recently purchased a spa from Country Homes. There were some initial specification issues with the spa that were noticed upon delivery. Gig from the North Division store was great to work with in getting these issues quickly resolved. He stepped in and immediately went out of his way for us. Including making a visit to our home on his day off just to make sure everything was corrected. He seemed very conscientious and committed to high customer service levels required to make a satisfied customer out of us.
Recommended from Jeff at Freds Appliance especially since they are local. Sam saw me and my fiance as looky loos on a mower about a week prior. I am a big review guy-- it starts with a lot of one star reviews on google and was initially reluctant to go back, until I took the the time to read managements/owners responses to these reviews. A lot of them were user error and it was a buyers emotive vent. Sam was there when I came my second time and remembered me and that I had my fiance with me last time. The honest truth is no other local store felt right between Lowes, Ace, and Home Depot since our first visit despite carrying the same product at the same price. I had specific questions from my own homework that I relied on his expertise to navigate. I ended up buying a more expensive model based this feedback- it wasnt an up sell. I can tell they know their products and trust their system, so I do too. Do your own homework, try them, and then compare--there is a difference in expertise and locally based service. I hope this helps as a consumer!

We recently purchased a hot tub from Country Homes Power. Our experience was outstanding in both service and quality of the Marquis spa we selected. We recently moved here from Denver and have owned 4 Hot Springs spas in the past. We were almost ready to buy our 5 Hot Springs when we saw the Marquis Spirit tub. It was outstanding and the reviews were at the top of spas today. However, we still werent quite sure if we wanted to switch to Marquis until we met the salesperson at Country Homes Power on North Division Street in Spokane, Washington. Sam was an outstanding representative of his company and did a wonderful job of explaining the spa and everything associated with it such as power hookup, placement, and after sale care. He made the sale for us!! Good spas are a must nowadays, but excellent salespeople who care about you and know their products well are hard to find. You will find those qualities in Sam and an excellent spa in Marquis.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Country Homes Power. I knew nothing about lawnmowers when I called the store to get some information about them. I spoke to Sam and he was so helpful and kind. He told me to come by the store and he would tell me everything that I needed to know. I met with him at the store and he spent a lot of time answering all of my questions and making sure that I felt comfortable before purchasing anything. There was no sales pressure, he is just a genuine guy who really knows about the products that he sells. I purchased a zero-turn lawnmower from Sam and he continues to make himself available to answer any questions that I have had since receiving it. I was so pleased with his service that I just bought a wheeled string trimmer from him as well. Go to Country Homes Power and make sure to ask for Sam β you will get outstanding customer service!
Sam was the best! I called looking for a particular chainsaw and they happened to have two in stock...I asked if hed hold one and Id be right down to buy it. He said he would. When I got there, not only did he have the saw ready but HE PUT THE CHAIN ON IT FOR ME! And...he put fuel and oil in the saw, and fired it up for me AND made sure the chain wasnt too tight/loose. Ive never recieved that level of service from a big box store, EVER! Garth, the owner, really goes the 2nd mile as well. The service was second to none. No one acted like a salesman, more like a guide...they just wanted to help if they could.I liked working with them so much, I went back and bought an electric weed-wacker too! The charge lasts longer than I thought it would. As an FYI, the electric models take a thinner string that gas powered and they arent as powerful, but they are lighter and quieter so it depends on what job you need to do.Their price was lower than the big boxes too and I feel good that Im buying local!
Repair was made on my chain saw to fix pull cord last April. I did not use my saw after the repair until April of this year. Upon trying to start it, the pull cord again stuck. When I took it back and explained the situation there was no attempt to work with me. I was told I signed the work order and therefore I should pay full price for the repair. I would never dream of treating my customers with such indifference. Poor customer service Iβm my opinion.

On 04/25/20 @ 9:05am. I made a phone call interested in locating and purchasing a 4-stroke backpack/shoulder leaf blower; however the sales associate I was talking to was extremely rude and hung up on me when I asked for a specific blower which they did not have in their inventory. I will never walk into and do business with any Country Homes Power store again.If I could have rated this store lower than one star, I would have! Extremely POOR customer service.
Sam and Gig were both great! I called and Sam answered all of my questions and made good suggestions. When I got there Sam was tied up so Gig helped me. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable making my decision. I never felt pressured at any point. Everything was prepared and provided as promised.
Bought a Honda lawnmower and got some bad gas causing surging and shortly thereafter mower wouldnt start. They fixed it free of charge. But FYI if youre thinking of bringing items for repair, they will only work on items bought from their store.

I was looking for a gas powered leaf blower and Sam said lets just start a couple up and see what you like best. Took the guess work out of it because I could see exactly what I was buying. Sam did the same thing with me when I bought my chainsaw last year. Only place Id go for my gas powered tools.
Ive never been here before, but I came in shopping for air conditioners apparently ahead of the usual shoppers. We had a bit of a challenge, since the first one I was sold wasnt quite right. Garth made it right, and did a great job of solving the issue. We are cool this summer, and I so appreciate the genuine service we were provided. Thank you for making this right and turning what could have been a very negative experience into a great one.
Great experience here. No pushy salespeople. Only knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. Explained the differences between the many different products and helped me to choose the right one for me. Not the one that would make them the most money. I will be giving them more business without a doubt.
Today I went into the north Division store to see about getting a Husqvarna chainsaw worked on and was told that you only work on products or items that they sell at the store. I was told it was the store policy for the past 20 years. Really poor customer service. Iβve purchased from your store before, but Iβll drive out of my way to buy somewhere else from now on. This is 2020 I think Iβd review my service policies and if you carry and sell a product you should service it. You lost another customer in me for your future.
Just bought a Honda power mower from country homes power equipment gig debacker was my salesperson he was excellent. answered all my questions. full product knowledge. no questions left unanswered. took his time very professional highly recommend.

Absolute worst place to deal with ever. The only reason it got one star is I cannot rate any worse!! I bought a $5,000 stove and when I got it the control panel didnt work! When I try to resolve the issue Ray hung up on me two different times. After a couple months of still not having a running stove I went to visit the store. They said they would not talk to me and Sam walked off and basically to me to get out of the store. To make matters even worse when I finally got a hold of the owner he defended Ray and Sams actions and worse yet he was in the store and saw me being told to leave and never bothered to see what the problem was. In the end i was to blame and never resolved my issue I ended up getting others to fix it. Dont step foot in the door because they are the nicest people until it comes to dealing with an issue
Ive been a customer for a very long time, bought alot of equipment and thats both professional and personal. Get them to provide repair on site is not going to happen. Very disappointed. But usually have the parts to do repair as needed. DYI. Service is good, service people are nice.
You really dont want to buy from this place. They dont stand behind there product at all. Really bad customer service. Really friendly when your purchase. If you have a problem there really rude. Seriously dont purchase from this place
Worst service ever! This place is a joke. If you are the owner and you read this, Fire the Service Manager / GM for your customerβs sake. I bought mower here in 2017 (overpriced, but they were local and offered βserviceβ). Mower pull string and auto choke quit working in May of 2019. Brought it in for service here on June 11. They called 3 days later, said repairs were done. Showed up to pay $121 in service fees, just to find out before I even left, that A) they used βused parts from another mowerβ to βfixβ mine. B) my mower wasnβt actually βfixedβ. They checked it back in, and 2 days later I got another call βyour mower is doneβ... I show up to pick up mower, have them test, and it sounds ok. I go home, wait a few days, and go to mow my lawn. The mower starts up.... and then idles odd and proceeds to die. Didnβt so much as add gas (they had added some at service). Brought mower back to Country Homes, again, less than two weeks after initial appointment, and the βServiceβ manager / GM / whatever his title is, tells me that βeven though his notes clearly show that his technicians worked directly on the parts in question, I have to agree to possibly pay for an assessment of what the issue may be.β He implies that maybe βI added something to the gas, and if I wonβt agree to a possible charge, I could leave. Then he shoved my mower out into their driveway and told me not to come back. Do Not Give this guy your money or business. I will certainly never shop here again, and plan on telling others my experience so they donβt experience the same terrible βserviceβ. Avoid the scam at Country Homes Power Equipment!!

Worst place i have ever been to. Terrible customer service, very shady sales happening here. I bought a chainsaw new, it turned out to be used and returned twice for not working properly. They would not give me my money back even with receipt, only in store credit. I purchased a nicer saw and still have issues with it hoping it was a fluke but it was not. Thanks country homes for stealing my hard earned money.
