Chris was a great help from the start. Went in for a Subaru Outback, test drive went great, and I was out the door within 15 minutes or so. Been taking it to the mountain pretty regularly and it’s performed like a champ. One thing I truly appreciated outside of the car and great service was the lack of up-sell pressure, which was a great change of pace from almost any other salesmen. Definitely suggest stopping in and checking the place out!

Wasnt here really...just parked there to ear my dinner before starting at work down the street from there.

Dont do business with them theyre shady. I looked at a Camry and was told that they would hold it for me until the work needed on the vehicle was done alignment. Offered to pay on the spot but they said they would hold it for me, instead they sold it next day. The car seemed to be in a wreck anyway and they said it wasnt. Laughable.

He has always been amazing and helpful. If you ever have an issue, communicate and he will accommodate your needs. Weve bought 4 cars now from here and will not go anywhere else for a car. We recommend them to everyone we know who needs a new car.

Bought a 2007 bmw 328xi test drive went awesome purchased the car and on my way home the car blew a waterpump I had the car towed to the shop they replaced the bump and thermostat I called Chris right up and he sent me a check in the mail to help cover repair costs he was incredibly fair and he was a honest person he had no clue the waterpump was close to death nobody did but he responded to me problem in a awesome professional way!!

Found them to be honest and fair pricing! We needed a good rig that had 8 seats. The first thing the dealer said was that it had very low miles and was a one owner rig with car fax pulled on it. He said he had a quick look over and the blinker wasnt working right and he would have that fixed before we buy it. And that if there was anything we notice wrong to bring it in and he will fix it. UNHEARD OF! The tires were even in good shape. Every dealership we stopped and looked the tires were bawled and the engine lights were on. Not on the suburban we bought. It runs like a champ and the tires I felt were in really good shape. Thank you to the guys who work there that make SURE they are putting cars on their lot that is SAFE TO DRIVE!!! Thank you!

I bought a subaru impreza from here and i was very disappointed. I am in kalispell and i hardly made the drive back after i bought the car. I bought this on July 27th and it’s been to the mechanic 3 times.. not even 2 months ago. He didn’t tell me some things that were wrong with the car including a leak in the transmission (that they filled up too much which could’ve resulted in a blown transmission), needed new brakes, etc. I wouldn’t recommend buying a car from here, very unreliable.

Got a very nice one owner Subaru that the mechanic Mark went through with new head gaskets, timing belt and water pump. Mark really knows Subarus and puts a lot of care and detail into thoroughly checking over the cars they sell. If you arent in the market for a car, Id recommend them for service as well. These guys are real auto enthusiasts with a lot of knowledge and were great to work with.

I spent the better part of a day shopping around to big dealers and other private dealers. Chris and River City was the only one who listened to what my budget was and stayed within that budget. He didn’t try to pressure me or badger me into something I didn’t want. He was flexible on the price and I walked out the door with a great deal. I recently purchased a car from Chris at River City. Great car, had lots of important work already done to it by Mark; Head gaskets, timing, water pump... all the important things you hope for when you buy a used Subie. And a really fair price. I applied for a loan and Chris even took an extra bit off the car so I could get into it with what I was approved for. Theyre the coolest guys and really know their Subarus. I would highly recommend buying a car from them. And would even go back when our son needs a car.

I purchased a Subaru Legacy from here almost a year ago and the car has been running rather flawlessly. Very recently it needed a brake job, so i took it to one of the hundreds of auto shops in town and they wanted almost $1000 for the repair. Chris at river city auto on the other hand did it for a quarter of the price. I could wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone interested in purchasing a car.

One of the best car buying experiences of my life. Bought my kid an affordable car, with low mileage. It was simple, and fast, with top notch friendly service.

Buyer beware this car lot likes to throw around “new head gaskets” on their Subaru’s when in fact they don’t have new head gaskets. Being a certified technician that I am I know exactly the in/out of these cars. Looked at a 2002 white forester with “new head gaskets” wrote on the window when I asked the sales person about paperwork backing his claim he had none. Any used car lot that says repair work has been done but doesn’t have paperwork on it should send red flags immediately. This car has an external head gasket leak, a leak that shouldn’t be there if “new head gaskets” where installed. When I brought that to the sales guys attention he stood by the car having work done even with pictures proving he was a lair. I

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. I bought a 2006 Ford Expedition from River City Auto in Spokane. I drove it a short distance on a test drive and everything seemed to be fine. I hauled it home to Montana on a trailer and a couple days later and had my mechanic put it on a lift to check things over. I found that this expedition had been in an accident and had hit something extremely solid. The front skid plate was gone and the front cross member was bent up into the oil pan damaging the pan also. When the front cross member was bent up it bent the frame causing the front control arms to be out of position. I called them and explained what was wrong they said they would order parts and pay to have it repaired. They did send the parts but started having issues when it was explained what it was going to cost to repair it. Labor and frame straightening do not come cheap even if my son does the work. The bill for parts replacement, alignment and frame straightening came to $691.25 they sent a check for 325.00. At this point I will be turning it over to the Washington Attrney General and my lawyer. The can come get the vehicle and refund the money. Do not buy from these people!!

Got a vehicle from them, lasted only a month, took it to a mechanic and they put brake fluid in the oil and other areas to hide the leaks it swells the seals, wont notice it for about a month, which it took a month for me. Now I have a vehicle I cant drive and still paying for it. Do not get vehicle from there...
