Great place and staff! Im glad they enforce masks, I sometimes forget to put my mask on and they always remind me! I love their shop and the bead shop, they have amazing things to look at! I also enjoy the staff and glad they help me find what I need. Their very helpful and always watch their cameras no matter what, thank you guys ❤

This place has always been my favorite as a kid and its still my favorite as an adult. I spend an hour here even when Im trying to hurry. They have an amazing crystal selection for whatever price range. They have Greek, Roman, Norse and Egyptian god and goddess statues. Their jewelry selection is very well priced too. They also have fossils, glass butterflies and all sorts of bugs.

I visited this store for the first time on Friday with my sister. Unfortunately, we spent no more than 10 minutes there because the cashier made us feel uncomfortable. She did not greet us when we first walked in, though she did acknowledge us by coldly announcing that we could let her know if we needed anything. I started browsing through the bead section which wasn’t easy because there was a table, stacked with supplies, close to it. When I tried to get around the table, I almost tripped and when I looked up the cashier was staring at me with a very judgmental expression. That was when I knew that I was being profiled, and yes, it was racially biased because the other 2 shoppers were both Caucasian and she engaged with them differently. And going based off their conversation- they were not regulars. I then stopped shopping for myself and joined my sister, but I felt obligated to keep my hands open and visible. My phone rang twice, but I chose to not to answer it to avoid reaching inside my purse. When I happened to glance in the cashiers direction- we made eye contact which only proved that she WAS watching me.I wanted to leave so I asked my sister for the time- her response was “My phone is in my purse and I don’t feel comfortable grabbing it.” After that, I told her we were leaving and she asked me if we should “just buy something.” In other words, the cashier’s behavior influenced her to want to buy something that she did not 100% want and that is what upset me the most.UPDATE: Fortunately when I searched the stores website I came across a picture of the cashier. Her name is Kendall and her picture is attached, but it might not show because of copyright. So if you’re curious as to what she looks like- visit their “about us” section on the company’s website. Honestly, she looks like a very nice person, but looks can be deceiving.Update; Reply to Owner’s Response:Cheers to you for trying to implement a diverse and all inclusive shopping environment. Unfortunately that was not the impression I received when visiting your bead store (especially) because of this employee’s behavior. To be ‘fair,’ 10 minutes is more than enough time to draw a conclusion on an unsettling situation as it is relatively easy to group minorities together based on stereotypes, statistics and probability factors. If she REALLY was watching me to see if I needed help then she would have reacted differently to me nearly falling. I did not judge your business in it’s entirety. Instead, I rated my shopping experience with ONE of your employees who made me feel less than welcome in your bead store. Though it is interesting that earlier reviewers expressed feeling judged; poorly treated; followed and even profiled yet my rating prompted a response.However, you responding with your “mission statement” in an effort to discredit my review, as well as providing excuses for your employee’s behavior does not change my experience with her. I personally absolutely love the staff here! They have Always been so sweet and attentive. I’ve even had amazing stimulating conversations with several of the employee’s. I’ve never felt uncomfortable there being a part of the lgbtq+ community, I’ve always had just very welcoming experiences. Sure they can be unbelievably busy there but that’s because they’re on demand and do treat their customers with appreciation and respect. Prices are legit considering they travel to gem shows to supply the best inventory possible, I’m never concerned about fake or dyed merchandise which is always a plus:) if you’re looking for a local loving establishment that sells high quality inventory and dishes out some amazing energy this is the spot:)

The employees gave off a snooty, standoffish vibe. They watched me walk in and then turned away without greeting. I love browsing this store, but unfortunately they made it a very uncomfortable experience this time. Not sure if Ill return.

I will never patron this establishment. Two of my daughters were racially profiled when browsing this shop. They were greeted coldly. When my daughter gave a review of the store they dismissed it as being too sensitive. Others have had the same greeting from this establishment. Feeling profiled. Keep your stuff. I’ll go elsewhere.

Spent 120 dollars in less than 45 minutes and hadnt even looked at more than a quarter of the store! 😆 AWESOME place! Super cool stuff that anybody would dig! Something cool for everyone of all kinds of tastes! The rocks and crystals are a big part of the breathtakingly awesome aesthetic that make this place live up to its name! Love it! My daughter and i went a little bracelet crazy, but hey, we had fun and a girl can never have too many bracelets!

I love the products here. They really cater to the things I like, namely rocks and bones.They carry a variety of fossils, stones, minerals, crystals, carvings, singing bowls, simple kids games and some really nice adult options like solitaire, included in a photo.They have a great selection but a small location so expect a slower, careful browsing experience. Walkways are essentially one person wide. Many shelves are exposed so Im sure they appreciate peripheral and body awareness in guests. Bouncing children may not be the best choice if you dont want to knock something expensive off a shelf.Ive had them honor a trivial replacement on a fossil item with zero issue as well. Even though the fault was my own for not inspecting properly before buying. I highly recommend this shop to any hobbyist or tourist looking for a unique storefront.Covid measures are properly implemented. While stone handling is allowed, they provide hand sanitizer for guests. As well as this, masks are required to enter and there is a customer capacity limit that is enforced by lock.

So..many...lovely...things. This is a wonderful place for presents for loved ones, unique gifts, gems and minerals, ephemera, jewelry and more. They also have a bead shop for all of your beading interests.

Nice and very unique shop. Friendly staff. You can find a little of something from many different cultures from around the world. It may seem a bit pricey, but then again youre probably not going to find many of the items they sell at too many places in town if at all.

Excellent shoppe for all of your metaphysical needs. There is a bead shoppe on the left with knowledgable staff and the widest selection of stones polished to beads ive seen. On the right is a larger crystal, statues, jewelry, incense, and more. Their variety included all religions and all ranges of those religions. And if youre impartial to spiritual practice, you may find yourself intrigued by their selection of fossils and stones. Also they have replica fossils strategically scattered about as well to keep your eyes keen! Again, very knowledgable staff. Both sides of this shoppe were wonderful. Go find something nifty!

I come here often with my family. My kids enjoy all the different things they have but I will no longer give my business to a place that stereotypes people by their skin color. They racially profiled my cousins and one of them is pregnant! I strongly suggest you guys train your employees how to treat everyone fairly. As BIPOC they did not deserve this treatment! DO BETTER!

The people here are SUPER knowledgeable and great at recommending things for whatever you’re looking for.Any time I leave this shop I leave with a small treasure I know I’ll have for a long time. Wonders of the World and the Wonders Bead Shop are always a delight to visit. The staff are nice, helpful, and kind. They always have my favorite incense and I love looking at the crystals they carry. Their jewlery and statuary are lovely as well. Truly, there is always so much to see and we enjoy every trip.

Overpriced, yes. But this store has monopolized the new age market in spokane so we cant expect competitive pricing. Yet. And we may never, stores like this are dying. This is because you can buy a 1000 gram quarts of any color and composition for $20 on WISH.com. But when you buy online you cant touch it and feel its energy, or really make out its shape. This make wonders of the world so special. The diversity and inclusiveness of the products at Wonders cater to all. I also like the section of leather-bound journals. I wish they werent $50. I mean really... a notebook costs $2 at Walmart. When I mess up what I write in my $50 leather bound notebook Im like crud! I just ruined a $3 piece of paper! I bring my relatives here from out of town because its fun to browse. They dont buy much... Id like to see those prices drop by 20%. Youd make more money selling at discount than you do selling barely anything at all.

The employees were very helpful to me with finding a gift for my girlfriend and when I found something they actually made it into a necklace for here and added a chain and everything happily with no hesitation. Ill come here again most likely.

They treat almost every single customer like a potential thief. If youre that terrified of the possibility of theft that you will whisper to each other They might be stealing, yet loud enough for other customers to hear, you should maybe be an online-only retailer. Especially the older lady with the grey hair, I think shes a manager but shes one of the rudest people Ive ever come across in there and she will make it obvious that she thinks youre stealing. Overpriced, they sell a lot of cheap knock-offs as legit (the majority of their citrine is heated amethyst), the store literally has giant dusty cobwebs.

From wiccan, earth spirits, buhddism, Judaism, greek mythology, egyptian etc. Spirituality like you have never seen!!!!! To top it off a crystal and jewlery selection like nowhere else around. This store is like gods hobby shop/ testimony on Earth. They also have a ton of jewlery and even a jewlery making shop right next door. Trust me when I say youve never seen anything like this!!!! Go Go Go . Its a must see in Spokane and so worth the travel time from Seattle.

This is always a fun shop to stop in. So many unique finds that you arent likely to find anywhere else locally.From unique rocks and minerals to crystals large and small, Tibetan or crystal singing bowls, statuettes, Buddha figurines, wind chimes and even an amazing jewellery selection...its hard to not find something to call your own. Combine that with a fantastic, as long as you need layaway plan if what you want doesnt fit in your budget, and you have a great place to shop for a gift or something for yourself.Whether you are looking to buy or just looking, this shop is highly recommended. The friendly and professional staff will answer all your questions and help you find that one of a kind item youre looking for.

You guys are doing a bad job of creating a welcoming environment by saying employees shopping is more important than other customers.I keep going back because I want to support local, then I usually force myself to buy something that is way overpriced. Today I got blown off, the shop owners made a point of shopping ahead of customers who were waiting in line due to covid restrictions on number or people allowed in. I spent 10 minutes ordering what I was going to get online before I left. To clarify, this is across at the bead shop

Spiritual people: please dont get any raw rose quartz from here. I bought a five dollar piece and later examined to find out it was glass and not genuine

I really use to enjoy visiting this shop, looking at all there unique merchandise... However over the last few years the energy in the two stores have become negative and very heavy .. the staff are snobs and will follow you around the store but when you ask for any assistance they magically seem to be suddenly busy 🤔. Theyre not friendly or helpful and just seem judgmental!!! Also the prices are absurd absolutely over prices for the quality. I saw a marble sized amethyst sphere for $40 i will never shop at this sad little store again . Spent hundreds over the years to be treated rudely . Dont waste you time or money.

Only 10 people are allowed in the store at a time. Had to wait outside while others got done shopping. I love to see what this store has. I think some things are a bit overpriced. They have tons of earings. Studs and long ones. Lots of stones and they have a section of dead bugs behind glass.

For a shop that is supposedly geared towards spiritual shoppers I have to say they hold well to the values of spiritually minded people. Like others have said they follow you around the store and are extremely overpriced. The staff are all pretty much snobs and the vibe there is filled with negativity. I wouldnt bother shopping here for the fact that they dont seem to follow through with the ideas of spirituality. There motives seem to be just in making profits. Also they are very judgmental it seems. And they have no value to long term customers. I wont be shopping here again and I strongly recommend you dont either.

I did originally rate 5 stars but have dropped that. I go in often to support local business, but over the years I’ve noticed the staff seems genuinely snooty to literally anyone and everyone who walks in through the door. As someone who is ALSO very spiritual and into the metaphysical world, I don’t see the purpose in giving off such standoffish, cold, unwelcoming energy to everyone who wants to learn (or is just there because they’re browsing). The only employee I’ve ever enjoyed being near is the gal who almost always works in the bead shop. After all the money I’ve spent here, I won’t be back.

I discovered this place and decided to take my mother. We had a great time the first time we went. We decided to go again the next day because my mind was still set on buying a couple more rocks I passed by the first time. Well when we walked in on the second day the guy working leaned over to the other employee saying ummmm... they were here yesterday then mean mugged us the whole time there. It was so awkward that I havent been back since. Thanks for ruining my experience for the both of us.

We visited Wonders of the World on a Monday afternoon, February 4, 2019. Going in we didnt know what to expect. We were blown away with the variety of stones and crystals they showcased. We found Awesome stuff! Beautiful crystals, pendulums, jewelry, wind chimes of all sizes. We were limited on time so we couldnt check out everything. Would definitely go back again. The people working there were very knowledgeable! Answered all our questions! It was a great experience at the Wonders of the World in Spokane Washington! Thank you!!

I was very shocked from the first time I ever shopped there till this last time I shopped here. Me and my two daughters were followed around and basically made us feel unwanted and rushed to shop what I was looking for.yeah my daughters had trouble for not touching anything but my values have never been to steal a d I make sure I tell my daughters no, theyre 2 and 5. The owner was very quiet and didnt talk. What made me feel most uncomfortable was a man followed us and took a picture of Myles bending down. Very uncomfortable and rude. Ive been shopping here for about a year and I dont think Ill feel comfortable to come back sad thing is iv spent hundreds of dollars here.

Were very rude to my parents over charged on some of the geodes. Would not recommend this place unless you want your things stolen and to be over charged at check out.

If you are looking for semi-precious gems/rocks this is definitely the place in spokane to make the trip. They have a very large selection of crafted jewelry and unfinished gems/rocks for purchase here and if this is your thing or you are looking for that unique gift this is the place. It also serves as a curiosity as well and I found it interesting just to browse around for about 20 minutes.They also have a very knowledgeable staff to explain all about the stones they carry in stock.Its located in the old Flour mill so its not a one-stop destination and you can occupy your time visiting the other shopping opportunities.

I have always enjoyed this place. They have an amazing selection of everything you are looking for. Gems, sculptures of dieties, fossils, and other interesting beautiful items. Their staff is always knowledgeable.Today I went through and recieved the same excellent service but Micaiah was a dream. Friendly, attractive, and I would highly recommend him.

This has been my favorite place to go when Im downtown ever since I was little and my mom took me in there for the first time. They always have interesting things and theyre a great place to get some gemstones and figures. I always try to make a visit in there when Im downtown to see if theres anything new to see which there usually is.

My family goes in there all the time. We love rocks and crystals, and buy something at least once a month, we generally spendover an hour in the store, because there is so much to look at. All the staff is always so friendly and helpful, especially Alex, and they are tolerant of small children (which is saying a lot). The bead shop across the hall is great too, lots of natural stone and crystal beads, in singles and strands, plus lots of other jewelry making supplies. We get prompt help and advice every single time we go. Couldnt be happier.
