As a novice seamstress, Ive had a hard time going into JOANN stores in the past due to somewhat rude staff interactions so I was pleasantly surprised when I stopped in yesterday.I had a lot of excellent help from Kiley (I believe that was her name), who was personable and quick to help when I was looking lost.This store was also stocked a lot better than ones Ive visited in the past, and I ended up leaving with way more than I went in for and will definitely be back due to this positive experience!

Very few samples of yarn out to determine final bulk, rummage sale feel in spots with very little variety of products.

They have a ton of great ideas and what you need to get your projects going. I didnt find what i was looking for in fabric on this visit but I got there late and was short on time to browse. As always a helpful staff will help you find what you need

Great selection of seasonal fabrics which were on sale. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. There was only a very short wait for a cashier.

One individual was quite friendly and helpful I believe her name was Cece. She helped me and made sure I got what I needed to complete my task of mending a pair of khaki shorts. Also she didnt make me feel stupid for asking any questions or not knowing how to navigate a JOANN fabrics nor what I needed to complete my task.However I did feel quite uncomfortable when attempting to ask questions from the ladies at the cut counter. Mind you I took a number and waited to be helped. When it was my turn I was inquiring on what would be the best way to efficiently mend a pair of khaki shorts, where and what kind of fabric or patch would be best. I received a scoff and a crude look. I really felt like I was being an inconvenience and essentially how dare a man come in to JOANN fabrics ask questions and attempt to mend his own clothes. If it wasnt for the first person I spoke of whom actually helped me and I feel went out of her way to ensure I got what I needed, I probably would never return to a JOANN fabrics again.

This is a particularly big Joann store, which is nice. The cutting/quilting tables dont have clearly marked pricing, so thats frustrating. Also, the cutting mat wasnt clearly labeled as being on sale (20 percent off), so when I tried using my 50 percent off coupon, I couldnt. This location feels kind of dirty, too. Not my favorite place to shop.

This location is poorly lit and mess. Staff are nice.

I always enjoy my time at JoAnn Fabrics. They have a great selection of craft supplies and fabric.

If they have what your looking for its not a bad place. If you want help, good luck, your better off looking around on your own. Like most places these days the selection of items being offered is limited.

Joann Fabrics seems to be old fashioned in its handling of customers trying to check out. There were only two slow cashiers, even though there were five people in line. And those people are forced to look at a wall of candy and snacks (and listen to a child asking for candy) while held hostage to the antiquated checkout routine. I had one piece of fabric to buy, and the clerk took nearly three minutes to enter the info into the register. Need to make this process faster and less frustrating for the customers. Otherwise, the store has lots of interesting things to see.

I just spend to much money there. I go in for one thing to finish a project & come out with more projects. Lots of cool stuff

The store was actually super depressing. It was my first time shopping in this particular store. It was difficult to find things because the aisle markers are attached to the end of the isles, and you have to be right up to them to see them because they are blocked from view. The people who work there just did not seem like they were in good moods. I know that everyone has a bad day, but everyone having a bad day at the same time makes for a very unhappy shopping experience. I specifically downloaded the app to get discounts on what I had to buy today, and I ended up saving like a dollar. It was totally not worth any of the effort put into it. The shelves were barren in some places. I much prefer the store in Spokane Valley and will probably not shop the Francis Street store again.

Whats not to love? The employees are phenomenal! Im always surprised at how amazing they are on insanely busy days.The store is very orderly 99% of the time (Holidays being the 1%). The sales are clearly marked and they never forget to scan your rewards or remind you about any extra coupons.Im always happy after I leave. ☺️

Came in today to buy yarn and my husband accidentally knocked the cart into an island and there was a ceramic friends mug on the bottom rack that knocked on the ground and shattered the handle. Felt bad and brought it up and said it was an accident. Then the cashier proceed to charge us for this cup with a 25% damaged discount!!!! I didnt even want the cup. Ive never even watched the show friends. I was bringing it up cuz it got accidentally broke. If I knew I was gonna get charged I wouldve just acted like I didnt see the cup. Seriously ridiculous guys. Doesnt really make me want to shop there if thats seriously how you guys are gonna treat a customer. The cashier shouldve called for a manager. Very disappointed in your employees.

So happy this business is Open! Heard from a friend that Mask making kits at no charge to customers. Picked up a small bag, the floral Pink fabric will be for the masks. The dark solid navy blue is for the band around the patterned cushion material. Lots of free parking as always, the staff working were so pleasant!

Found everything on my list. Experience checking out with Emily was kind and courteous. The minus point is not able to use app for coupon; sightly disappointed as one item I purchased was over $34.00.Otherwise a good experience.

I went to the 29th location to make a return and that did not happen. I have made many returns just using the card I I made my purchase with. However, everyone should be aware that that is not going to be the case anymore, according to the store manager the policies have changed. If you come in to try to make a return using the card you purchased your item with, unless it is under $20 you will be unable to have it refunded it to your card or just give you cash. I was offered a $26 store credit. This wont work when I am already $90+ into a project that 95% of the money already came to Joanns. I just want my $26 I don’t know why that is so hard... I get policy changed but you should be up front when giving a costumer a receipt if that’s the case. If I had known I could return a cutter if I didn’t have my receipt I would have gone dumpster diving for it when I found out my husband thought it was trash and through out the stack of receipts. Honestly, this will deter me from shopping with the company as a whole...

All the ladies are so helpful and tell you what’s on sale and the price before they cut your fabric. So nice! I’m an addict for sure

I came in actually looking for stretchy string for jewelry and was immediately directed to exactly what I needed. Despite being a fabric store they have a great selection of awesome beads, but they are definitely not cheap! Even the cheap ones aint cheap there! I did receive good customer service and was happy with my shopping experience

Its legendary, my first time. Only made it in a short distance and found what I needed. I need to have someone who knows every inch of the place take me in and really show me around. Looking forward to it! Want to get into some epic crafting.. And return to sewing after many years apart.

Great... except they didnt inforce wearing a mask as stated on front door.

Curb side pickup doesnt seem to work, and they ALWAYS seem to have a line 3+ people deep, and never enough cashiers to keep the line moving quickly.

I get a few items occasionally here but my wife buys quite a bit of sewing and crochet supplies and loves it. They are awesome for Covid-19 awareness and are currently carefully limiting capacity with a dedicated door/people counter. All employees wear masks. This is not only for their protection but mostly due their customers. Thank you Joann Fabrics for caring. I for one appreciate it.

I wish they had a greeter. When you walk in they simply say hello, what crafting can I Help with today?We spent forever trying to find what is we needed and awhile till we found someone who worked there to get help.

A super old store, but theyre selection is very good. I wish the front door was marked better. I thought I was entering a fire exit.

What can I say, this place is a DIYers delight. Best selection in town for Rit dye, (both liquid and powder) they had every color I was looking for in one spot. The weekly sales, daily coupons and price matching are an added bonus. Was able to get everything I needed for half the price I thought Id have to pay. The people that work here are very helpful and friendly. I called ahead to make sure they had it before I got there and they had it waiting for me at the front counter. Will definately be shopping here again...

As usual, I ended up buying more than I planned to because they had great sale and clearance items. I love their liquid hand soap. They didnt get 5 stars this time, as the checkout line got backed up with one and, finally, two cashiers. Not good for social distancing when lots of people still dont respect others by not wearing masks.

The cost of fabric and supplies has kind of snuffed all the fun out of sewing my own clothes. I went in to buy foam for my husbands project. Of course, I cant resist looking and dreaming about what I could make. The pattern I liked was $17 after 40% off! I figured it would be around $60 to make a shirt plus the value of my time... Its still a nice store with lots of nice stuff, but its not worth it.

Favorite craft store. The fabric selection is always wonderful. The additional crafts supplies are also great. Often there are really great sales on supplies and decor. Its always been clean and well staffed. Even when I dont need anything, just a fun store to walk through. Great for all ages and many interests.

They have so much fabric, I think its the biggest selection Ive seen in one store. Prices are too high but they do have sales and clearance sections. They also have sewing machines that you can come in and use, I think they also have classes. I was there for yarn and tiny googly eyes, I was surprised I was able to find small enough eyes and their yarn selection was three big aisles. I had a lot of fun, next time Ill make sure I have more time to really explore.

One lady on cutting table refused to cut fabric to my specs, another stepped in and cut fabric as requested. Kudos to the gray haired short clerk. Her customer service skills should be rewarded.

This place is unreal. They have EVERYTHING related to fabric or sewing. Oh yeah, they got all fabrics, rolling cutters, cutting boards, scissors. Even a vast selection of quality sewing machines. Overwhelming. Took me by surprise. Ask an employee if you have never been there. Fun place. 5 STARS!

They dont have great regular prices but they have good quality stuff and they have sales often that make the price a lot better.

Customer service was slow to respond to me. Maybe it was because I am a man shopping in a fabric store. They should be reminded that many great clothing designers are men and they shot for fabrics to. And we need service just as much as our female counterparts. Were not just their wasting time waiting for our wives or girlfriends to finish their shopping for their materials.

Store mgr Jessica was inconvenienced and talked down to a sales rep that was attempting to assist me. She stated she walks too many steps in a day to help assist a customer. Roxi did great! Jessica horrible.Going to the valley store from now on. Oh and I will be telling everyone I know about this experience too!

The cashier lady was very nice, she even help me save 40% off my purchases By telling me about the app on smartphones. She didnt have to do that but she did I though that was very very nice of her. She was nice to my 3yrs old twins.

Saying they are open to provide PPE protection materials but only saw one employee in the store with a face mask on. Was only in there to pick up my on line order of two face masks and had to go to check out to pick them up. Not ONE checker had a mask on. Whats that suggesting to people. I had my mask on.

This is a pretty good store. There is so much fabric! Some times the line for cutting is long but you can take a number and shop for other stuff while you wait. They have sewing machines from basic to seriously advanced. They drawing supplies like markers, paints, pencils, and paper. All sorts of paper craft stuff. Die cutting machines and accessories. Large selection of vinyl; permanent, semi permanent, and heat transfer. Lots of beading and jewelry stuff too.😎🤘

Lots of choices, didnt get to shop a lot but it seemed to be a normal joann fabrics. Some of the bin items were mixed up so hard to k how pricing. Other then that was good.

Helpful staff and lots of sales. We got help right away, and my 8 year old was able to ask the salesperson for what she needed and we found it quickly.

JoAnns is one of my favorite places for beading supplies, fabric, notions, quilting batting, paints and other arts and crafts supplies. They have awesome sales and coupons all the time. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful. Love it!

Okay, my wife said she would crochet me a nice warm scarf for my neck and wanted me to pick out the yarn, so I went into Jo-Anns. I looked at a lot of yarn, then fabric for a quilt and walked around the store. I was amazed at all the stuff in there. The ladies at the register were extremely nice. Oh, and my scarf looks Awesome!!!
