I went to Patriot faithfully from 2016-2020. Spent over $1000 less than a year ago for them to prepare my car for a move from Spokane to New Mexico. Had to go back twice because the first AC Compressor they put in was faulty. They said they replaced it with a working one and here I am less than a year later being forced to correct their mistakes again. Yesterday the AC compressor locked up, broke my serpentine belt and left my kids and I stranded on the highway. If Patriot would have done a honest job in the first place I wouldn’t be on my third AC compressor in less than a year. And I trusted y’all with my family’s safety. I’m extremely disappointed.

I went in to have my oil changed and muffler inspected as my muffler was making odd sounds. The mechanic, Dave, changed my cars oil, air filters, muffler, and inspected my tires for a fair price. When my muffler required a specialist, Dave referred me to Mach 1 Muffler. The total cost was extremely reasonable and I felt like I was respected and told the truth rather than sold to. Dave also displayed an extremely professional demeanor and extensive knowledge about auto mechanics. The length of time that the maintenance and inspection took was also reasonable.Overall, Patriot Automotive offered excellent customer service, an honest opinion, and a fair price, all without taking more than a lunch break. What more can you ask from a local mechanic shop? I plan to use Patriot Automotive for all my general vehicle maintenance needs.

I went in to have them look to see if my steering box could be replaced nothing else. Told me my truck belonged in a wrecking yard. Very unprofessional to me. Ik it needs lots of work. Its a project I just wanted to see what they would charge. But pretty much told me no an that if I gave him $40 one time vehicle could be provided an I could bring it in when it needed work. I didnt want that. I just had the transmission done a year ago but he said its leaking an its not. Ik my engine has an oil leak. I need a new engine which Im in process of getting. Just the fact he said what he said I will not recommend his shop. Was rude an I felt for the poor lady behind me. He was rude to her. I just dont think he is professional in telling people there vehicles belong in a wrecking yard. Very unimpressed

I initially was happy with the way I was treated and from what they said it sounded like they knew what they were talking about in terms of what was wrong with my vehicle. I was having several issues, one having to do with an oil leak at the oil pressure sender switch which was also causing the “low oil” light to come on randomly when the oil was not low. After the “repairs” everything seemed fine until I noticed my car was not running right recently and it sounded really bad, I decided to check the oil (even though the low oil light never came on!) because I was told it sounded like I was running on very low or no oil and to my surprise the oil was so low that it didn’t even register on the dip stick and my car could have some serious damage now because of it. I then filled the oil but my car still doesn’t seem to be running well and every time I pull out I can see a visible oil puddle where my car was parked. I hate to say it but it seems that they just disabled my “low oil” light and called it good since my light still will not come on since taking it into the shop and instead of fixing the oil leak it seems to be much worse. I’m really struggling right now and cannot afford more expensive repairs or to be without a vehicle...

Asked for a part I brought in to be installed. They said ok. They found the old part, used it instead and decided the job was good enough because they got the code to temporarily turn off. A few days later when the code(and service engine soon light) was on again, I called asking them to do the job right. They refused to do any further business with me and I have to get another mechanic to make the fix. This is the third time they have done this to me resulting in thousands in expenses that should never have happened. Do not trust them! Not even a hand shake. None of the time frames they have given me have been accurate either. Garbage business people. Dylan and Chris just want your money and have no respect if you have any problem with anything they do wrong.

You know I feel bad posting this so far out, but they always remind me how good service should be! They helped my mom finance car services after her bankruptcy when I was a teen. Then I moved back to Spokane as an adult and lost my kitten in the dash of my car (long story) but they got him out without any charge and even suffered a few scratches! We just took our van in and they are helping us finance new tires and mechanical problems with the car. They are such blessings!

Had my tires mount and balanced there and the next day my entire wheel fell off while driving down the road. Turns out I had put the wrong lug nuts on a few years prior. I knew I did it, but forgot about it. 100% my fault.I went back to Patriot thinking it was their fault and they were shocked and horrified and wanted to completely fix it, even pay for a tow to their shop. They were absolutely amazing about it. When they asked my about the miss-matched lug nuts it all came back to me. They didnt rub it in or make me feel stupid, they were super kind and even gave me a deal on a new set of correct lug nuts.This is the ONLY place I deal with for tires and alignment issues.ALSO: I read Handy Mans review down there and he is obviously lying. When I went in and told Patriot that my wheel fell off they didnt even hesitate for a split second about taking full responsibility for it. He didnt ask a SINGLE question trying to figure out fault. His only concern was fixing it at their cost.

I used my phone number to get a quote and now Im getting at least 4 telemarketing calls a day. Also way overpriced email said to bringy car in and I could get in right away. Called them and they couldnt get it in till maybe the next day.

Ive never had such honest service from a repair shop. They have free diagnosis which is great, and the only thing needed was to add fluids which they did.My bill: Less than $5.00!THANKS!!

Not only did they handle the warranty company, making it effortless for me, but they kept my vehicle for almost 3 weeks while I was in the hospital and recovering. I would call to check in and each time they would say, its not a problem, just pick it up when youre ready! I cant thank them enough for their kindness and understanding. I took my truck in because my drivers window stopped working and they had put the new motor in it just a few months prior. They replaced the motor but screwed up the entire door! Now nothing works and I think they messed up the electrical somehow. None of the window controls work. My driver side mirror wont adjust or defrost and my key fob no longer works. I will not take it back to them and will be finding another mechanic to fix what they broke.

U will pay for things that are not broken and u didnt have to fix it. Paid for breaks and that wasnt even the problem. Our problem was the emergency break was broken. Spent 1000.00 too much for things that didnt need fixing.

I work as a technician at a dealership locally - anyways sister in law got a flat tire and called me, she was close to Patriot Automotive and could not make it to my shop to have it repaired. I told her to stop at Patriot and ask for some help. Awhile later she calls me and lets me know the tire is unrepairable (no problem it happens). Next thing im on the phone with someone who works there telling me she needs to replace two tires because they are at legal limit (once again no problem). I asked him if he could just put on the spare because I can get tires at cost at the dealership I work at. At this point the employee at Patriot becomes agitated with her and I. We are willing to pay to have the spare installed so not sure why this is such an inconvenience.Sister in law asked for the tire size and the employee says its on the tire in a condescending way. We were nothing but patient and from the beginning they were completely rude. Wont be recommending anyone goes to Patriot even if in an emergency situation with something as simple as a flat tire.

I cant say enough good about these guys. My friends kitty got stuck in the dashboard of my Jeep and Dillon spent 45 minutes getting him out and they didnt charge us anything. A week later I needed work done on my Jeep so I took it in for the work. Chris had a hard time getting some bolts out and it took a lot longer than they planned but they charged me the original amount they told meI highly recommend this shop

Excellent. Said nothing was wrong with my Tie Rods and sway bar bushings vs what Les Schwab tires told me. They Tried upselling me suspension components so employees get a cut of it.

They replaced my EGR valve a year ago and it never quite worked right. I finally got around to having it looked at again and they said the part was faulty and replaced it free of charge as it was still under warranty. Excellent service!

My husband took my vehicle in there for a simple tune up.. The ONLY reason I am leaving a ONE star review is because there is no option for 0 star review. He took it in for a simple tune up.. then they started adding all this other stuff wrong with it to jack up the price. and AFTER they did that. he didnt even make it out of the driveway before the check engine light came on.. WHICH MIND YOU.. was not and has NEVER been on before that. THEN the dude test drove it to see.. and claims it is working fine.. I AM reporting this place to everyone I can. I will leave reviews anywhere and everywhere I can. If I have to stand out in front of this place with a sign reading.. THIEVES WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND JACK YOU STUFF UP TO GET EVEN MORE MONEY. I will do it daily. for as long as it takes to these people to either completely fix the problem.. or replace my stuffUPDATE.. all of the sudden it dawned on them that the spark plug was not in all the way. ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS? where do you get your workers??? Something as simple as a spark plug.. How about I call the news stations.. I want the money back for all the extra stuff they added on. They can keep what my original quote was. but Now I will do what ever it takes to get my money back from the underhanded dimnwitts

Well I have to say Ive not met a more honest group of mechanics anytime in recent memory. I am so pleased with the work that theyve done for me as well as the fairness of the charges I wouldnt take my car (or my wifes) anywhere else. They are the greatest. One TireRama wanted close to $650 or $700 to change out a water pump and Patroit did it for $375. I couldnt be happier. I was quiet dismayed to read the other review as he must not have been dealing with the same crew, is all I can think of.

Ive been comming here since Chris owned the shop.Mostly maintenance work and tires but when there were a few occasions where something was wrong, they fixed it. Never once did Chris or any of his mechanics ever try to sell me on stuff I didnt need. To be honest he has saved me from myself. My family has gotten bigger and our needs have changed and so has our vehicles . Patriot auto has been there for my family.The way I see it, Chris and his guys are the doctors for our vechicles. I take the maintenance very seriously, my wife and childs lives depends on it.I trust these men . If they said I needed something, its because I did. If I didnt need anything, they didnt sell it to me. If a mistake was made ( we are all human), they damned sure stood behind theyre work. Correction were made and apologies were given.That being said, car needed new springs . I was pushing 170,000 miles . One of the rear springs was a little squeaky, Chris had it squared away asap.Nothing but honor and respect for these guys!

I came in to get my timing belt and water pump replaced on my Subaru legacy. As many know, this is vital on a Subaru. Engines are destroyed if they break. Anyways, I dont have a lot of money(single father of 2, yada yada yada), and I was already getting help with the cost, when we found the tensioner was bad. 200 bucks. Chris at the counter helped me get the cost down just so he could replace it. He didnt have to that, but did. Amazing guy. I will be back again in the future. Thank you to Patriot automotive!!

Underhanded and uncaring.They took my car and gave me a quote, the next day i get a call saying its going to cost more than double their origional quote and i cant get my car back untill i either pay the origional quote (and get a useless vehicle with the same problem) or pay more than double for them to fix it (which i couldnt affoard at the time) so they left me with a broken vehicle, 600 dollars of debt and a big ol middle finger.Thanks Patriot, now i know what a sleazy buisness looks like.
