I took my car here to get a diagnostic & was told it would be between 80 to 300. I was charged the most expensive & didnt even get a FULL diagnostic...on their results if whats wrong w/ the car, it said a small leak but no time was taken to see where & why but wanted me to pay to get further diagnostics done on that & the air conditioner wasnt checked out either which doesnt work. I work part time while going to school & dont have a lot of money to dump into a car shop that charges the most to get money out of you...I wont ever take my car here again.

These guys are everything you want in a repair shop. Theyre honest, theyre quick, they offer the best service Ive ever had, and they explain things in a way almost anyone could understand. Ive never had any issues with their work and I know enough about cars to know that theyve never ripped me off on something I dont really need. Their prices are fair, probably not the lowest in the area, but Id be willing to pay a lot more for the peace of mind and quality of work I get from C&H. I dont want to sound like a used car commercial but there honestly isnt anything bad that I can say about them. Ive never been anywhere else that treats me as well or does as good of work, on my car.

C and H has always has done an excellent job of repairing the 5 Volvos I have had. We first started using their services in 1977. We couldnt ask for a more trusting, fair and informative company. They do a great job of taking care of my car.

C & H Auto Repair is very professional and provides great service for our Audi Q5. We had bought another used Q5 but had it serviced at another repair shop because we needed it for an unforseen trip. The oil needed changing and needed 65K maintinance. After the trip we noticed an oil leak and some other things that gave us a negative feeling about what was done. Took it back to Scott at C & H and had it gone over under their specs. They fixed the problem and we are glad to be back with them. Little disappointed that the oil was not changed…It was brought in for check engine light and oil leak.,.wasn’t given option for oil change…4500.00+ was a little higher than I thought it would be…No information on battery being checked or air pressure in tires,; fluids checked….coolant, windshield washer fluid, steering fluid ;brake fluid;; brake measurements…..Many of these items are safety issues…At my shop all the above would have been check.,,customer careDon’t think I’ll be back…

I know nothing about engines and expensive cars costs a little more, but when you buy a BMW, its like a fine watch and these guys (like Scott) are like fine jewelers and they are honest, timely and NICE. If I drove a Honda, I would take it to C&H. The best in Spokane.

This was my first time using C&H and they were very impressive. They worked with us when I was unable to get my vehicle up to Spokane for the appointment and got to it as soon as possible. Additionally, we received updates on what was being worked on with descriptions, costs, & photos. When we arrived to pay we were also shown the old parts they took out when the previous damage was being explained. They took their time which made the cost well worth paying. Customer service was also exceptional, I would definitely recommend C&H for your vehicle repairs.

Service mgr.told us they could solve our idiot light problem.Made appointment in(2 weeks) Arrived at 8;00am, Nice waiting room,with house dog to sit with. After one hour was told it would be just a few minutes more.15 minutes later asked my wife to show them the problem.which she did in the work area. One hour laterwas told they could not repair or fix problem.OK. They bring our car to entry, we go out and inspect boot(trunk area! where they mechanic worked on the problem. Broken access doors(2) interior not refitted properly. .Did I mention we were charged over $200. .We were recommended to go there by another shop. This is the 1st time we ever made this type of report. We have been in business ourselves for over 50 years.I feel bad to make a report of this nature.Respectivly,BiLL & Patricia Goldfoos.

Common problem come to find out on these older cars but diagnosed it quickly and was able to come up with fix for the car in a timely matter. Ive been bringing my Subaru Outback into C&H for 10 years now. Each time that I drop it off at their shop, I know that I will be receiving the highest quality service. My little ol Outback still runs like a champ after this many years because shes been so well taken care of. Recently I had to have my brakes redone. I can tell you, it was well worth the money!As I drove away from the shop and came to a stop, I said to myself:Wow! So this is what brakes are supposed to feel like!

I have used C & H Auto for many years, almost 20 I think. They are very honest and always keep me updated on repairs on my car. They always do a great job on repairs. I called to schedule an appointment to get a newly purchased used car looked over on 7/3/2020. They scheduled me for 7/10/2020. I have an extended warranty that covers most repairs that my car would need with a $200 deductible including the repairs found by C & H Auto Repair. “Employee x” left me a voicemail that he had spoken with the extended warranty claims and said, everything should be covered and there would be no testing time needing to be paid as long as they found something covered by my warranty in the suspension. I received an email on 7/10/2020 that they had spoken with my extended warranty company and were given authorization for $1678.52. The total for the repairs would be $2883.25 with the difference of $1204.73 being your (my) responsibility. I spoke with employee x about the fact that I have a $200 deductible that covers the repairs needed. I was told the shop needs to make sure they have a way to keep their lights on. They kept my car over the weekend because parts needed to be ordered. I was then told on 7/13/2020 that he spoke with my extended warranty again and found that the price of the repairs would be different depending on what I chose to get fixed. Apparently choosing to get just the driver door actuator fixed would cost $829.90 which would include my $200 deductible. If I chose to get both the driver door actuator and the sway bar link rods fixed my total would somehow be cheaper and cost $780.41. The rear coupler would cost an additional $290.42. If I did nothing I would still have to pay them $300.03 for their time plus whatever time it took them to reattach my door so that I could take it somewhere that would do the legal thing and honor my warranty. I chose to not walk away without getting at least something fixed and have to pay them for their time. I got the door actuator fixed as well as the sway bar link rods fixed. I spoke with the dealership where I purchased the vehicle as well as the extended warranty from and they assured me that the mechanic shop was being unfair and doing something illegal. I then asked to speak to the manager named Scott. I voiced my frustrations for the first time throughout this process. He used the same phrase employee x did about the business needing “a way to keep their lights on.” He then went on to explain to me that it is like medical insurance and you have to pay a copay. I said, “Yes like my $200 deductible.” I assured him I will never be back. Today 7/20/2020 I spoke with my extended warranty and the extended warranty company paid them $800 on 7/14/2020.

I have used C&H Foreign Auto Repair for over ten years and personally feel that they are the best auto repair service in Spokane. You may find other shops that will charge you less but no one I know of cares for your vehicle like they do. Their rates are competitive and the work is expertly completed as promised. They keep ongoing contact with you as to their diagnosis and the charge for the work so there are no surprises. Had a fantastic experience with C&H. Took my 535i in with a check engine light on following service done by a shop in Seattle. Communication from Scott was excellent and timely. He took the time to think about what the diagnostics reported as well as the options available. The fault indicated a catalytic converter failure which has a federally mandated warranty of 80K miles. Well under that, he asked if he could get that confirmed and fixed by BMW. I know he had way more time into my car than he charged me for. Happily recommend Scott and his shop.

First experience with the shop. I bought a used Mini Cooper from a local dealer, likely a lease return from Wisconsin. While the dealer tried mightily to learn the maintenance on my car, one they dont sell, it became overwhelming for them. This service turned out to be much more expensive than we anticipated but the task was one that was very important. It was discovered that the part that was replaced had been the wrong thermostat since the original build. We now have the correct part installed thanks to C&H so were anticipating improved performance in the cooling system going forward.

I took my Mini Cooper S to C&H Foreign Auto Repair because I had a coolant leak. From the first time I spoke to Scott I could tell that me and my Mini would be well taken care of. I was able to get my car in the day after I called. They gave me a ride back to my home and picked me up when my car was ready. They did a complete diagnostic and found that my Thermostat housing needed to be replaced. They also let me know other things that needed to be fixed in order of what needs to be repaired next. Scott was keeping me updated on what was going on either by phone call or email.Im extremely happy with my experience. My car was also washed and vacuumed before I got her back. The cost was very much in range for what needed to be done. I would recommend all people with foreign cars to go here. I left my car there for 2 months. I have a BMW 325xi. It needed many things. For $3,400 I could only afford the battery replacement and front brakes. The back brakes were done at another shop but for some reason they said they were not done right. I was not told about this. When I came to get the car, still in sticker shock and paying twice for brakes that I was told were done I drove off. I live over an hour north of town so had many errands to do. At 6ish at the gas pumps my gas door would not open. I tried everything, AAA, YouTube, gas station attendants, you name it...I decided to get a hotel. I had very little gas and it was 22 degrees out after a very bad wind storm. I had to go to 4 places before I got in a room. The next day I called and I wasnt feeling well. After they paid my hotel bill, minus meals and contact lens cleaner I just drove off.

Yes they are a tad pricey but when your caring for your picky foreign car C and H is simply the best around here. Theyve redone by fuel pump, under warranty, 3 times now and dont charge me a thing, even delivered my car back to me. They always vacuum the interior and throw away anything obviously trash. Their work is spectacular and the only place thats given me a full top to bottom diagnostic on my Volvo. Absolutely worth the money.

Took my Mitsubishi in for a much-needed oil change, tire rotation, and top-off. Service was excellent; they even gave me a ride home and then picked me up when my car was ready.To my delight, the car had been washed and vacuumed (for free). It looked brand new! All the services performed were explained in a print-out and the attendant answered all my questions. They recommended services to do next time in the print-out as well.Really impressed with the service. These guys did a great job. They werent pushy. Prices were reasonable. Im planning to go back and get most of their recommended services done later this year.

They have always provided a detailed written report of the work done along with the related cost. The mechanic would review the report with me when I picked my vehicle up. C & H has provided services on my vehicles ranging from oil/fluid changes to dropping a new engine in my Volvo (two years ago and it runs like a champ). C&H did a very thorough inspection and assessment of a used BMW I bought. I definitely should have had them check it out before my purchase. Scott was very candid about his opinion as to whether the car was worth fixing which I appreciated. My only concern was actually my failing- I should have asked ahead of time how much the assessment would cost me-$265. My recommendation would be to give customers an idea of this cost. My Lexus has over 300,000 miles and after the most recent repair and a new battery drives almost as well as it did when C&H first repaired it 200.000 miles ago.

We brought our Land Rover in for a ticking noise in the engine. We had it at another shop for almost three months. After that shop charged us thousands of dollars they proceeded to tell us that the tick was quieter and very normal. After Scott and his crew and C&H looked the land cruiser over they had the problem fixed right away. I can not say enough good things about my experience here. I have been to other mechanics that work on German cars and I have always been misled and over charged. Scott at C&H always kept me in the loop regarding my vehicle. Even calling me just to let me know that my car was still there in the morning and made it safely in to the garage when we had to do an overnight drop off. When we told them that we only had a $1000 budget, they worked with us to get the most important things taken care of. My car runs great and the staff are awesome! I have been taking my 13 year old X5 to C&H for the last 5 years. Scott and company have always done a great job a diagnosing, estimating and repairing. They quickly became our trusted mechanic shop for both the BWM and the Subaru while we had it.

Good knowledge and very kind! Took a bit longer to service than I would have liked and fairly pricey, But they got the job done correctly. Very quality work, and great costumer service! Brad is great to work with, and explained every detail of the fix, and reason for certain costs.

My husband and I just bought a used Volvo that has more issues then we first thought. C&H has been able to handle most of the issues right away. We still have one more glitch that needs fixed and we will be good to go. They were honest about repairs (I got a used Volvo in Idaho and the people before me overfilled the trans for God knows how long, so its not gonna be a perfect ride BUT it is so much better with their trans flush and other repairs!). I was budgeting fierce and they let me know the absolutes and the can waits. Then, when I went to pay, my outside financing fell through and I about had a full on panic attack. They helped me with other financing options so I could take my car home which then made at least four of my family members and friends plus me cry like babies with joy after the stress of not being able to afford repairs! I wouldnt go anywhere else! Im so glad my friend recommended them to me!
