Only giving this one star because I have too. Wanted a desk they had in store and the “assistant manager” said they did not have anymore nor did they in the stores nearby. Had to order this desk and he told me it would arrive to me by Tuesday the next week. Desk never arrived and when I called customer service they told me it was damaged and a new one would be sent out the next Tuesday. The next Tuesday came along and still no desk. I called customer service AGAIN and they said they left the parcel on the dock and would try and have it delivered the next morning. And you guessed it, it never came. Called customer service AGAIN and they said they would have to refund and reorder. I told them to cancel the order. Jump to today. I went to the Office Depot on Verdae Blvd and they had the desk I had ordered IN STOCK. The same desk the “assistant manager” told me no stores had nearby. Not to mention the “ assistant manager” was arrogant.

I had a terrible experience with the customer service in their printing department here. Go anywhere else but here for your printing services. Staples and FedEx were both much better and had lower prices.

Very helpful and friendly.. from helping with a shipping label to answering questions about toner and this is two separate employees and they both were awesome

Needed a set of drawings printed so I could see enough detail to get a bid in. Placed the order online for same day/ next day pickup. Days went by. Couldnt get anything on the phone from corporate or the local store. Drove up to be told they would get it in a few days, that since it was over 5 pages they werent allowed to print it in store, had to go to their corporate printing location. She confirmed she could print it right there, right now, but refused to do so. Ive got a major bid to complete by morning that probably wont get a chance to bid now because the print center wont print the document.

Im giving them five stars because even though they couldnt help me with certain items there was a tornado that came through and there they told us it was up to us if we wanted to leave that they highly suggested we go to the back of the building to be safe they locked the doors and made sure everyone was safe and then they let us go when it was clear to end clear to leave big ups to The Office Depot Office Max team here in Spartanburg and Westgate you guys are amazing

I love this store. Everyone is so nice. They always help me with my projects. I use the printing services excessively. Ive been using them for years and never had a problem but once and they fixed it immediately. I reccomend them to everyone. Ive also used the computer services for my laptop. They are truly a one stop shop with a professional and friendly environment.

Office Depot in the Westgate Mall area has a good variety of items. There is a young, tech savvy gentleman who works in the print department who is the most professional person Ive ever known and helped me to design a beautiful program .

Last Thursday I ordered 25 copies and for the edges to be trimmed and for the pages to be cut into four sections (all options offered online) when I picked up my prints they were cut extremely poorly, half didn’t have straight edges and the other half cut off my logo. I called and they said they would reprint everything and cut again. I called a few hours later and they said I had to come back in in order for them to be reprinted but at this time I had no one to watch my son and I could not come in. I came in on Friday on my lunch break and discussed the issue with someone who said the problem would be fixed shortly. I called a few hours later and was told my copies were printed but not cut and to wait on a phone call that they were ready. I never received a call so I called on Saturday. I was told my copies were ready. I came into the store to find my copies were never printed and never cut but it was the same box of the wrongly cut original copies. At this point I was behind on mailing my copies out for my small business and I asked for them to be reprinted, cut and a refund. I was offered a 50% refund. When the copies were printed and cut again I went ahead and got another 25 to avoid being backed up on mailing again. When I picked up my now order of 50 copies and took them home to cut the edges off (because apparently they cannot cut it 4 ways and cut the trim even though I was told originally they could) after hours of trimming the edge myself I discovered that the cuts made by their team were actually not straight AGAIN. I have a small business from home and a son I watch full time, I cannot afford to lose money due to a company I cannot trust and I cannot keep going back to Office Depot every 3 hours to baby sit them to make sure things are printed and cut correctly. Working with this facility has been a nightmare and I wouldn’t recommend it. I’ve lost sales and will probably lose customers over this experience.

In three trips here Daniel was excellent help. More than willing to educate a tech impaired customer, on trip number one and three. Trip number 2 was a bust with 2 reps that were not in any way willing to help.... more interested in telling me what they couldnt do. Daniel took the time to take care of me . See Daniel . HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE !! made a SAME DAY online order of a custom stamp, placed the order the day before for the next day being that it was a little late, everything went thru from order and got order # order would say processing and my card was charged . the next day it was now 6pm and i never got anything to go pick up my stamp so i decided to call, online it states SAME DAY PICK UP ORDER so i dont see why would it take any longer than that day, was on the phone for about 15 minutes where no one had any answers, they ended up telling me that my stamp was being made out of site and that orders come in monday thru friday so maybe itll come then ??? this was odd because online it specifys that it was for THIS SPECIFIC STORE ONLY, honestly i think theyre not paying attention to the online orders and then when you call about it they pretend to have no idea .. ended up cancelling the order and will order from staples instead, theyve done lost me as a customer !!

Its the best store in Spartanburg.

Well this the quickest review ever. Called asking for a price from the print station. The associate said she doesnt know any of the prices and just to look them up online.Really? I highly doubt yall just do services without any listed prices available.

This store is an awful place to shop. I went there for a laptop. I was able to find one but could not find a price. There was no one around to help but after going to customer service, an associate came to help me. He told me the price and since all they had was the demo, I let him order a new one. When I got home and looked at what was ordered, I realized he ordered the wrong one. So I went back to the store to get the correct one ordered. The one they should have ordered was actually $200. more than I was quoted by the associate (bait and switch)? This was more than I could afford so I cancelled the order. It took forever to get the order canceled and my money back. I wasted 2 hours of my time with them (30 minute trip each way). Dont think I will do business with them anymore.

100% the worst experience I’ve ever had. My boyfriend and I went to print out a shipping label for our business. We attempted to use the self serve printer. It printed our label but jammed before we could get a receipt for our transaction. I let the lady at the service desk know this. I was not rude at all, I simply asked for a receipt. She was extremely rude from the beginning. She couldn’t get the receipt to print. Instead of letting me know this, she proceeded to wave her hands directly in my face and tell me to get my stuff and go away. I was thrown off and asked her why she was waving her hands in my face and talking to me like that bc I was not rude at all. She then tried to deny even doing it. She literally said she didn’t do that when we both witnessed it. When I asked for corporate number she was mumbling under her breath and the manager walked over and told me I needed to calm down or to leave. As if I had no reason to be upset. So I left before I could say the things I really wanted to say. Will never ever shop here again. They should really be looking into their employees and checking their customer service bc the entire interaction was uncalled for, and if I was her manager, she would have been fired on the spot.

My experience in Office Depot today was excellent. Its nice when you go into a store and 3 people ask to help you, say hello to and are just simply professionals. I couldnt have asked for better service.

They are unorganized but have a helpful staff and decent inventory. I went to buy a pen and had to take the empty pen box to the register for them to send someone to the back room to get the pen while everyone waited behind me. It took 6 minutes. Then the next guy in line also had a pen for them to find. Seems they could do things a bit more efficiently at this stage in their operation.

I like this OD. I usually see some faces that I have seen before, and theyre usually smiling, so that tells me the store is well run with not a lot of people turnover. So when I need help, they have the experience to offer smart and quick solutions.

Very good service. Buying a new printer and when we got into the section we were looking for we were quickly approached by an employee to see if he could be of service. We told him no as we were just looking at this point.After browsing a few moments a manager going down the main aisle way asked if he could get us some assistance. I explained that we had already been approached by a team member and thanked him.We finally made a decision on a printer and loaded it onto the cart when the original employee appeared again and asked if he could be of further service at which point he helped my wife to find the proper ink for the printer and helped to get a case of paper. Then he rang our purchase up and offered to help us to the car.Good service will win out all of the time.

If I could give no stars I would. I emailed about a potential job and after 2.5 hours I called to inquire about the job and the young lady said they had gotten it but never responded on pricing and if they could complete the job. She was very rude. Finally she said they could get to it after I stated I would speak to the rep that I set up my business account with. When I arrive to pick up my business materials it looked like someone had took scissors and cut each item different sizes. The job looked horrible. When I tried to speak to her regarding the job she said she did it that way because of something on our end. I told her I couldnt give that out to the community. I stated if it was something wrong she couldve emailed my business or called and we wouldve adjusted it. She said she figured we wanted the materials that way. If I wanted them done over I had to go back to my office and adjust. I asked her if there was a problem would she contact us? She said ok. She didnt care at all about professionalism. You shouldnt have people like that representing your store. I do tons of business there and this was unacceptable.

Terrible delivery service wasnt on time or the day the item was supposed to arrive. Went through to much to track item location and whereabouts and customer service couldnt help either very unorganized. Wont order from delivery again.

Kind of messy but this could be due to it being back to school time. I wandered around the store for a while and not one person asked if I needed help or seemed to even acknowledge I was there. I had to take the ink pen I was buying to the front to get a price check as no one even noticed I was there. I work in retail so I am harder on these stores than most customers because I know what I expect from my employees and this experience, while not bad, is not it.

I am very pleased when I visit Office Depot. The staff works diligently to help make you visit worthwhile.

This store does not know how to be friendly to families with young children!! We were only there for scans, which after this experience we are buying a scanner at another store so not to have to return. If Office Depot does not want you to touch their balloons either don’t have them out or signs sayin don’t touch. It is ridiculous that a 2 year old can’t look at a balloon these are strong enough ones to withstand little hands and boops. To be addressed by a staff member, standing there watching until after my son bopped it instead of saying anything before, rolling his eyes and saying please don’t do that is way out of line! Where is the customer service of making it a friendly atmosphere for everyone? Seriously they are like $2; worry less about the balloons and focus on the customers maybe you won’t lose customers by being jerks.

I looked for printing labels but failed to find what I needed. At checkout the young man asked an assistant to look and she brought me exactly what I needed. Great job Westgate office!

Office Depot is a one stop shopping place. And right now they are having a back to school sale. Boy did I go crazy.

On July 10, 2014 I was in this Office Depot. The manager said he couldnt price match even though thats their policy. I asked for corporates number so that I could get a better understanding of the policy. The manger came up front and was agitated that I asked for corporates number. He started talking loud and crazy accusing myself and my cousin of trying to get more than we should. I told him that all of the items were not mine, some were hers. The manager put his hand up in my cousins face and said shut up, no ones talking to you. This has nothing to do with you. I was in total shock. My cousin said lets go because we did not have to argue with an idiot. He then proceeded to stand in front of my cousin and block us in from leaving the store. I told him what he was doing was called kidnapping because he was preventing us from leaving. He thought that was very funny. NEVER have I went anywhere and have been treated this way. I will now do business with Office Max or Staples before I give Office Depot any more of my business.

The dude walked away from me when I told him that I was looking for an inexpensive printer.
