Went with my daughter to get ideas for her wedding dress, she wasnt sure what she wanted. Sadly, I forgot the young ladys name, but she was INCREDIBLE. She helped take her through the different styles and advantages of each style. She let her try on a lot of dresses. She was so patient, and understanding. She was honest about both the fit (what would flatter) and prices. My daughter ended up buying 2 dresses, even though the wedding is over a year away. So excited! The dresses are GORGEOUS!

When I first walked in, I knew this was the place for me to find my gown. The Castle is clean, everyone was so helpful, provided great suggestions, made you feel relaxed, and there was no pressure. I highly recommend going to The Castle. I live out of town and was grateful for someone telling me about this place. You will not be disappointed! My friends and family were impressed too and were all treated so nicely.

Honestly the best, most caring service I’ve had in a while. From the minute we opened the front door we felt welcome there. It mattered to them if my daughter was happy and comfortable with her dress and they made every effort to make sure that she was. An unexpected boutique shopping experience! Just fantastic people! This was my third try at finding my wedding dress and I walked out of here with not only my dress ordered, but also my bridesmaids dress ordered. They gave us plenty of time, all of the staff was friendly and the one person who worked with us was completely focused on us. Although we went a little over budget, I dont feel bad about it, because the dresses that they had were beautiful and the fabric was top quality. The dresses do generally cost between $500 and $1500 (mine was $800), but there is a significant difference in quality (both dress and staff) compared to davids bridal or other bridal shops.

Wow can I just say amazing outstanding customer service. From the moment we opened the door until exiting their facility everyone was very nice and did everything they could to help. The employee that helped us today was named Shemeka and when I say she was beyond great. I told her my budget and what style I liked and she did her thing from there. She grabbed some great dresses for me to try on she was very open and honest about everything. Her personality was beyond amazing and with her help I was able to say yes to the dress today. Shemeka and her coworkers plus the store manager made sure we were well taken care of. I’m so glad we decided to go to The Castle because they had exactly what we needed. They were even nice to my niece whom is very friendly herself and loves giving hugs that made me feel even more welcomed in their facility. Haley Johnson Smith is the best wedding dress consultant ever! My daughter went to The Castle to look for a wedding gown. Since this was only her 2ND store, Haley pulled a few dresses in various styles. Once they determined what style looked best on my daughter, she pulled many, many dresses to try on. Haley, and the other staff, were so kind and helpful. They never pulled any dresses that were over our budget and showed us many that were lower. I appreciate how special they made my daughter feel and how they respected our price point. It was a wonderful day at The Castle!

WOW!!! I am so impressed with this bridal store. Before coming here I went to David’s bridal where I was very disappointed, nothing fit me or looked good on me. It all felt super cheap and itchy. BUT... when I got to the castle my whole day changed. LeAna was my consultant. She started off by asking me about my style and what I liked. Her and a few other girls went out and picked some dresses out for me. At first I wondered why I didn’t get to pick them out but you’ll see why soon. They came back with so many dresses that were exactly my style. The coolest part was they didn’t even ask me my size but every single dress they brought back fit me perfectly, it’s like they knew me better than I know my self. I was so shocked at how amazing and professional this place was. These dresses were absolutely stunning. They felt so comfortable and made me feel like a bride. They took their time with me and made me feel so special throughout the whole appointment. I was a little indecisive on a few dresses that I loved and they even let me retry dresses on 3-4 times. They are so patient and helpful. I have never been anywhere and had this great of service. I am still shocked at how amazing the castle truly is. I will always recommend anyone I know to go here. Also LeAna was the most sweetest, helpful, patient consultant! I loved getting to work with her today!!! Thank you for making this an experience I’ll never forget!

Robyn was phenomenal. I tried on a few dresses and was not feeling it. To be honest I had my heart set on another dress at a separate location. I explained the dress and Robyn found something even better, even explained how to change something about the dress I wanted covered. So pleased and can’t wait to pick it up!

We had a nice experience and our consultant was helpful with my daughter who isnt a fan of shopping. The only issues were: 1. When we asked about certain dresses, they showed us this long cramped wall and it was hard to look through since my daughter is 5 feet tall we were looking for a certain style (we know that it would have to be altered). 2. NO ONE asked us our budget! They just started pulling dresses so, I paid a bit more than we had budgeted for. Normally I wouldnt have budged on the price but senior prom and she can use it for other events since its a classic dress I conceded.

Phenomenal establishment with a phenomenal staff!! My wedding dress, shoes, jewelry and all my wedding attire for the girls were purchased here. Robyn and staff made my wedding planning so much easier and stress free by their constant help and suggestions. I went in with a specific and came out with something SO much better. If you aren’t purchasing your prom and bridal here you are really doing yourself a disservice!

LOVE this store!! I purchased my wedding gown, bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dress from here and had the best experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful and made our whole experience so enjoyable. The store was very busy at the time we were there but you wouldnt have known it because our consultant was very patient and didnt rush us at all. We did have an appointment so I think that definitely was the way to go considering how busy they get. I have since been back to purchase dresses to use for formal events and have continued to be very pleased. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone and love that its a locally owned family business.

Absolutely loved it here.The ladies are incredibly professional, worked with me and made me feel at ease!After having a rough time at Davids bridal I almost lost hope in finding that perfect dress.I came in with my mom and we already had ideas of what we wanted but she gave me many more options and they where all so beautiful, I really did just feel like this day was my day.The dress is absolutely breathtaking!I got my veil for free because of an online promotion, how lucky is that?Also they do have a sort of a payment plan, you pay half of what the dress is worth when you order it and the rest when the dress is received.I absolutely love this place and I reccomend it to everyone.

The Castle Prom and Bridal is the place that I purchased all 3 prom dresses in high-school and it was surely the FIRST place I thought of when I began shopping for my wedding gown! The staff has always gone out of their way to make sure that I was going to look my best, in a sense, I even felt like family! Due to it being a local shop, they generally remember their customers or at least I notice they strive to make a more one-on-one and personal experience instead of me being just another customer. The vast selection is so helpful in making me feel certain that THIS IS the perfect dress for me (without being left feeling as if I need to shop around before purchasing). Along with going out of their way, I felt as if I was helped yet not pressured, which is a breath of fresh air compared to some other places Ive heard about. What a great place to shop! I went in this past weekend hoping to find the perfect dress and that is what I did! The employees were so helpful with making sure that Ill look perfect for my big day. The selection there is wonderful. I was very impressed. They were all so very helpful with everything that Ill need. I found my dress, shoes, veil, and bridesmaid dresses all under one roof! I cant believe that I have a daughter going to prom, but I do. So, off we went this weekend dress shopping. We visited several shops before we found the Castle. The selection and service was no where close anywhere else! The store was hopping with girls shopping, but they were very nice and helped us as quickly as possible. We traveled with friends, and everyone walked out with the perfect dress! The girls working were so helpful to each of us. They helped the girls get in and out of dresses, which was great because I sure didnt want to ruin those beautiful dresses! I will gladly tell all my friends to shop there. I gave two stars because I actually loved my dress and had a great experience. However, the part I didnt like was the size of my dress. Im normally a size 8/10 always have been. Well one of the ladies, I want to say the manager says she measured me at a size 14. I was really hesitant as I had never been a 14 in my life. I expressed my concerns, to the young lady and she assured me that the dress by the designer were cut really small. So I ordered the size 14, I got the dress back and the dress can fit me and another person in it. I have taken it to two places and they both cant believe I measured out to a 14. The thing Is I think the consultant knew I wasnt a 14 but thought the dress was cut extremely small. I think the dresses by the designer are true to size. Perhaps their is a lack of knowledge on the dresses/sizes. The expenses are unbelievable getting my dress to my original size.

Great Selection of dresses and assembly line to get you in and out of the dressing rooms and trying on your dress. But the staff overall very rude. I asked the lady for a dress that I found on the website and she was very rude when helping me find it. One of the dressing room girls tried to persuade me from what dress color I wanted. By saying “that color is not in style this year”. My mom and I were very upset with this experience.

BEST ONLINE PROM DRESS SHOP - I know, I called em all.My daughter had her heart set on a prom dress, but no one had it in stock. I called at least 20 online prom shops. Nope, nope, nope. I called Castle Prom & Bridal and they didnt have it either, but Robin went the extra mile for me. She called the manufacturer, which no one else did. The manufacturer didnt have it in stock and wouldnt have it until June, way too late for prom.My daughter and I went back to Castles website, found a dress that was similar, called to make sure that they had it in stock, and they didnt. But Robin went the extra mile again and called the manufacturer, who had one left. She secured the dress for my daughter and it arrived just a week later.BEAUTIFUL DRESS, OUTSTANDING SERVICE. This is the place to buy your prom dress online. REAL people answer the phone and are willing to help online customers. I would buy from them again and Ill recommend them to all of my daughters friends. VERY, VERY, VERY PLEASED.

My experience at the Castle was fantastic. I would first describe my time at the Castle as FUN! Wedding planning can be stressful, but picking out my gown was a highlight in the whole process for me. Very bad first experience. Getting married and the employee I believe her name was Natalie or something similar to that was extreme rude. Im getting married next year and because I was not getting married tomorrow she assumed I was just looking when actually I am from out of town and was in town only a week and was purchasing early. Well she pulled styles since I never tried on dresses before I had no idea what I might like. The ones she pulled I didnt like and she was talking about me to the co workers and I over heard her. Called to complain and even the manager apologized then she said I still have time and dont have to do such a big purchase right now. It seemed they were trying to talk me OUT of buying more than talk me in??? The most bizarre experience ever. So I left and went to David bridal where I had a great experience and found my dress! And purchased it so The Castle you just lost a sale and any future business I will give you. && To add I am in town because all my family is here. I drove 7 hours from Virginia just for this experience! And the girl found out I was from Virginia from my mother yet she still did not treat this as a buying experience. She gave me NO information on purchasing the dress. She just gave me a card. I actually found a dress I wanted but the experience was terrible!!!! I can not believe it. I will not recommend this place but David bridal down the street from them is phenomenal! They actually told me it was SMART to buy early and get that part out the way. Beyond disappointed and talk about the worst experience as a first time bride. Unbelievable!

Personal, professional experience!After we selected prom dresses, Brooke stayed by my daughters side just outside the dressing room. She was knowledgeable and kind.The manager, Lauren, had a slammed store running like a well-oiled machine. We will definitely return to the Castle!

I would not recommend The Castle in Anderson to any bride expecting to be treated well. Needless to say, this wasnt a pleasant experience. I explained to the consultant the type of dress I was looking for. She pulled about 4 dresses for me to look at. I told her that I didnt care for the lace on them and she responded with Well there are two types of lace and these are the two so which do you like? followed with What else do you want because this is all there is. She was incredibly rude and unprofessional. When I was changing out of dresses she stood outside and did not inform me that there were no other options. When asking if there were any more, she replied I have nothing else unless you want to go pick them out for yourself. I have never been so disgusted in customer service. Save yourself the time and money and take your business elsewhere. Thankful that I was greeted with professional staff at Dimitra Designs where I found the perfect dress.

I’m completely mortified by my experience. I’ve been in multiple pageants and attended a few proms so I have plenty of experience with this type of dress shopping and I’ve never had such an awful experience. From the moment I walked in I felt like I was burdening the consultants. After selecting a few dresses (some that were even bigger than my size), my consultant wouldn’t even zip up my dress which confused me that they wouldn’t even try, especially since it was basically falling off of me. After that, I tried on a second dress that fit me everywhere except the hip area which has happened plenty of times since not every fitted dress fits everyone the same, and after taking the dress off she directed me to larger sizes that were too big for me and then proceeded to basically tell me that she couldn’t help me. Luckily, I was very happy with the service I received at Dimitra Designs right down the road and I had a wonderful consultant who didn’t expect me to be a size 2.

BEST FORMAL DRESS SHOP EVER!!! Ive literally been looking for a dress for my 8th grade formal dance forever and was finally able to find one here. The ladies were so nice and honest and treated me like I was the only customer in the store, even though there were several others there. I plan to go back next time I need a formal dress.

I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a glamorous but affordable wedding dress. Couldnt have done it without Ruths help and guidance, she was absolutely wonderful!

The staff are friendly but DO NOT go here unless youre 100% set on purchasing a dress prior to your appointment. Weve never felt so pressured in a retail setting to make a decision right away and were misinformed about the appearance of the dress that was purchased. Would not recommend for your bridal experience.

The staff here was so friendly and knowledgeable about their gowns. Once they know what our bride-to-be liked, they went and found exactly what she has in mind. I would definitely recommend them!

If I could give The Castle at 10 star review, I would! Dress shopping for me, is all about the experience and people make the experience! You won’t find more down to earth, kind hearted, customer focused, people to help you find the perfect prom or bridal dress than you will find here! Every time I go in, I receive excellent service and leave with a smile on my face! I have shopped at the castle since 9th grade! They are a staple of Spartanburg, SC and now a staple of Anderson, SC as well! So grateful my home town has such an outstanding place to shop for formal wear! I will ALWAYS be a fan, friend, and customer of The Castle!!!! Thank you for the many years of GREAT service and memories. I look forward to making many more memories in the future!!!

Everyone was extremely helpful and made this experience the best for the entire bridal party! Their dresses are beautiful (bride and bridesmaids), and I would recommend them to anyone!

I drove an hour to basically be treated like dirt at this over crowded place they call an attentive dress for all occasions shop! First of all, I couldnt even be comfortable taking my time looking for a dress for the sales girls rushing me. Trying on the dresses was an even more challenge. I was told I couldnt try on another dress unless I came out of the dressing room to be zipped up. (even though I had my 21 year old daughter in there with me to carefully zip my dress for me) This was told to me by the owner by the way also. Needless to say, I quickly put my clothes back on and left. I wouldnt buy a dress from this place if it were the last dress shop. This owner needs to learn the meaning of respecting customers even if you are busy and its closing time! As the owner of FOUR businesses myself, I would NEVER disrespect my customers the way this person did. So before you go in this shop, if you decide its worth it....be prepared for the tasteless treatment you will get!!! TERRIBLE!

The selection was decent-- they had more than most bridal boutiques, but less than some other bridal shops in the area. I was able to make an appointment within an hour or so of when I wanted it in the afternoon by calling that morning. The customer service on the part of the consultant who helped me was less than ideal. Ive been to most of the bridal shops in Greenville and to one in Charlotte, and I believe the service I received at the Castle was perhaps the worst of any I have visited. The other consultants in the shop at the time seemed to be nicer and more helpful, but the girl who helped me was very apathetic and did not seem like she was in the mood to help me find a dress.

We have always purchased my prom dresses from The Castle, and during that time I would absolutely drool over the wedding gowns and couldnt wait until it was my time to be in one of them. Well, my time came this February 2016 and let me tell you...my expierenxe was no short of amazing. Each staff member was incredibly helpful and I said yes to the dress only after only trying on THREE gowns! (Thats crazy!) I highly recommend The Castle Prom and Bridal for all of your formal wear needs. There is a reason we have been return customers for 8+ years. You wont be disappointed!

The Castle Prom and Bridal in Spartanburg has been apart of my life since I was 15 and I am now 27. From Military Ballsto prom dresses, pageant dresses, and bridesmaid dresses. I always recommend The Castle to everyone. This family owned and operated business has always been amazing to my family. My sister in law even got her wedding gown at The Castle. The Peeler girls as I call them have always gone above and beyond to help me with whatever I needed. All of the employees are so nice when I walk in you feel like you are at home! I love this place and would highly recommend it for anyone who is getting married and wants the full bridal experience.

Worst experience! Ordered our dresses in March to make sure they arrive by june. They arrived earlier than expected and never received a phone call from the store. Bride called the week we were told that the dresses would arrive and was told they tried to get in touch with us a few weeks ago but didnt have the right number? Went to pick them up and they were not the color we order. Had to send them back and that took another few weeks. Called us a couple of days ago to tell us that are in. Picked them up..tried them on. And my dress was huge. I wear a 16 and the bust was made for someone who would have a triple g bra size. The excuse was that most size 16 woman have larger bust like that. Knowing they had took my measurements. So needless to say. The dress arrived a week before wedding and didnt fit. Had to get alterations which cost me a pretty penny. So I paid 180 for the dress and with alternations..I now have a 300 dollar..plain black dress. I would never recommend anyone to come here. It was ridiculous..a joke in fact. Stay away from this place!!

I LOVE the Castle. I was fitted & bought my dress there for my cousins wedding and they were very helpful and efficient. I then went and bought my wedding dress there and picked out all of my bridesmaids dresses for my girls to order. They were amazing! They were very helpful in finding my gown and helping me try everything on. They made it to be a very pleasant and painless experience and detailed everything I needed to know. They would also call me and update me on anything in relation to the dresses. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Greenville/Spartanburg area.

Some of the rudest people I have ever met. The manager was nice and polite. However, one of their staff members LAUGHED at me as I told her my problem. And as she laughed and said ..and I quote.. Ummm, and what do you want me to do about this as she continued to laugh. Some people really should learn customer service BEFORE working in Customer Service. If I could rate a ZERO I would.

My sister and I took my niece shopping for prom. I was really impressed with the selection and the service. It was really an experience compared to the other places we shopped in Greenville/Spartanburg area. Definitely go check it out.

Will not return!!! I visited the shop once with my cousin and once by myself. We were rushed and it seem to us that they could careless about doing business with minority’s so we took our money else where.

I was at The Catle this morning with my daughter looking at Prom dresses. We got there shortly after 10 am and there was already a wait for a dressing room. There is a great selection and the ladies that work there are so sweet and helpful. But, they need a larger store. It was too crowded. I felt like the experience for me and my daughter was not special because I could hardly tak to her (so many people you could barely stand without bumping into someone) and about 20 girls (strangers) were watching (making my daughter uncomfortable). We did find a gorgeus dress just lost a special moment.
