Good stuff for arts and crafts. Wide selection of all kinds of supplies from papers to beads, cordage, paints, clay, caft tools, gifts and expert help almost every imaginable hobby, craft or skill. Generally great prices also and cupons all the time, on line or in flyer publications. Most of all THEY ARE OPEN INSIDE FOR ACTUAL SHOPPING!

First time for in person shopping today @ Joanns. Sure beats online ordering! Well stocked, great sales, safety protocols, shields at checkout and masked employees. Very enjoyable!

They charge me for my pick up curbside pick up before I even got there so it says my order was picked up tried to talk to the store about it and they were nothing but very rude this is the first time I’ve ever had this type of experience with this one particular store. And I buy a lot there never again guess Michaels is the new store.

JOANN is my go-to craft store for everything I need. Recently started crochet and am pleased with the variety of yarns that they offer. I do wish they stocked some higher end yarn brands as well, but I understand that space is limited and they try to cater to general shoppers, not specialty shoppers. TIP: Always use a coupon when shopping here. Items go on and off sale constantly (high/low pricing model). You can often get the best deals by waiting for the item you want to go off sale, then using their app for a 40% or 50% off coupon (these are only good for regular priced items). The Doorbuster prices are sometimes 60%-70% off the regular prices, so watch the app for those items also.

Its a fantastic store they are very helpful. I am glad I am a customer.

Im really disappointed. I found a clearance item that would have worked perfectly for my project. I waited in line for 25 minutes just to have the manager refuse to sell it to me because there was no price on it. Thats not my fault! Why is it on the floor with no price tag if your policy is to refuse to sell the items to the customer! She said that they probably dont even sell the product anymore. Which is exactly right, thats why its on clearance, DUH! I asked that she charge me whatever for it. I even suggested using the cost per yard system and all I got was a blank stare. Good luck to that store owner! I wouldnt want people managing my store who didnt know how to handle this sort of situation. Needless to say, Ill be going to Michaels for now on.

Very helpful and great staff

Used to be my favorite brick&mortar craft store. They are more organized than Michaels. They don’t try to dictate the reproductive organs of their employees like Hobby Lobby. Great selection. Great products. It’s a shame they can’t enforce local regulations in regards to masks. I’m normally a live and let live type but seriously? I can’t buy glitter without Karen and Becky all up in my space UNMASKED like some kinda bleach blonde plague rats. I’m sure my measly $100 isn’t a thing to fret over for Joann fabrics but I bet it will make a small online businesses day so that’s where I’ll take my money from now on.

I like that this store has a wide variety of items, including for crafts. This store has more variety than the one in Greenville. It would be worth it for me to make the trip. They also seem to be more well stocked than the other store, even amid the pandemic. I would definitely shop here again.

I really enjoy coming here and looking at Fabrics. This is where I got my niche for sewing. I started looking at fabrics one day in there and decided I wanted to start sewing & I got a sewing machine & my mom and I started sewing together, making dresses, shirts, nightgowns, bathrobes, napkins, etc. It was so exciting, but we don’t do it anymore. Jo Ann’s was so helpful with that time though. The last few times I’ve been in there though, they seem like they need some help hiring. I applied for summer help, but they wouldn’t hire me🤷🏻‍♀️

Jo Anns is having a huge sale. It made my shopping experience so much better. Overall tho, it was a good experience. Theres always a huge line & I get stuck waiting awhile but its all good

I live joanns. I dont get to shop gere often but its always quiet, smooth checkouts, and short lines. I wish they were a little less expensive than Michaels but they do have more frequent coupons sent my text and email.

I caught store associates saying some very disrespectful things about me behind my back. When they were caught they tried to apologize. Very unprofessional. Also, this store was lacking in supplies and I will be taking my business to the Micheals up the street.

Its a pleasant place to shop for fabrics and crafts. Lines and wait times tend to get long. Staff is usually helpful and friendly. Be aware though that very often the discount coupons are not useable on so very many things... The advertising at Joanns and Michael s and hobby lobby are ALL Very tricky.

Jonathon, working the fabric counter, IS fabulous, helpful, EAGER to be helpful and very knowledgeable. He was a delight to speak with and we had a few laughs. I spoke with the store manager about how great he is and she asked if hes paying customers to give him glowing reviews,lol. Apparently we were the 3rd ones that day to complement him to her. He shared with us he just received his Associates Degree in Fashion and will begin working on his Bachelors Degree soon. He is a real asset to your store!

Today there were several very nice crystal pins & decorative items. But not much choice in faux suede which was on sale. I know that they cant carry everything, but I can only rate on my needs.

I love this store, but it gets 3 stars because the price of clearance items were raised at the check-out and I was told one item could not be sold at all! Ridiculous. I left everything there with them. I dont like dishonesty.It is a good place to shop if you want to pay full price for sale items, I guess.

I have only within the last year and more the last four to five months, became a customer of Joanns fabrics. However since the corona virus and being anxious and in dire need of something to do I decided that i needed to take up something other than drawing and painting (burned out and too expensive) so I decided that I would this time actually figure out knitting and or crochet.I had always thought that joanns was pricey and limited in what it had. Turns out I was very very wrong in that assessment.. yes it caters more to the sewing types, the quilters, the guilds, the craft people.. yet as I said I was a drawer, a painter, even a sculptor.. so I had just bypassed this store. The corona virus gave me way too much idle time and I had to repurpose my purpose. So I went in not knowing if they would have a selection for my new found ventures..I was very happy to see this well put together store. With obvious pricing on products. Well kept and beautifully organized. To my great surprise not raised and turned upside down -like some places that I would regular. The staff is knowledgable and seem to walk their talk and know their stuff. Some are still learning and exploring where they fit in the artistic outlet. However everyone was warm friendly and helpful..I want to add that if you are going anywhere else but here for your instructional books, educational, or technique books you are making a huge mistake. You must check out this places book selection. They have books on sewing, embroidery, old world, toy making, pottery, jewelry, painting, drawing, sculpting, books that make journaling much less bland and trite, candle and soap making, watercolor, coloring books (the good ones), crochet and knitting.. Anything you can think of in the crafting and technique/skill building arena they likely have a book on it. They have an extensive and absolutely amazing selection of books. If you make clothing or other things like upholstery you must check this place out...I typically go to greenville, scs joanns so I must explain that I was delighted to see an even larger size (2.5 x the size of Greenvilles) store.. I went to spartanburgs joanns, but this too is very relevant to greenville as well.. Always a nice and clean, easy to maneuver and well put together store. There is always a coupon on their website you can use for a discount and they always have something going on to fetch yourself a solid deal on whatever your interests are..I hope this review makes you motivated to give this place a chance to win you over like it has me. I cant handle Michaels and hobby lobby hasnt been friendly going on forever... So here is the perfect store for your artistic adventures. Thank you for reading my review.Highly recommend! 10/10

They Carried many items in the store. Unfortunately I felt that most of them were overpriced true. Maybe I am just a tightwad but I cannot see paying $25 for one yard of a certain kind of material. They did have good sales on their buttons and Beads though.

I’m new to the planning community and I have become obsessed with planner related stuff. So I walk in and most of the time I’m greeted unless the employees are busy with other customers so I understand that, when they get the chance to walk around they do make sure that I’m finding what I need but most of the time I look online before hand to see what I would like and I go grab it in store or I just order online. I just recently used the pick up order in stores and it was quick and speedy as per other similar services at other stores. I have taken a look in other sections for future purposes and its a pretty clean and neat store besides a few sections that customers look through like clearance. When its time to pay I show the ladies my phone to scan and they’ll help you with using their coupons which is a major plus because I’m a Mom and I try to save when I can. Right now JoAnn is my favorite crafting store and I go there at least once or twice a week.

They have a good selection of pattern books for crochet and knitting. They are getting little slack on their yarn, though. Not as many colors or styles.

The service was good and the selection of stuff was easy to find. Some of the fabric was a little jumbled so it was a little bit difficult to find exactly what we needed but in the end we did. They have lots of craft stuff and in the end they had what we needed

Joann Fabrics is one of my go to places for my crafting needs. They have the best variety of fleece fabrics and yarns.

Its a well-organized store, clean and well-stocked. They usually have everything this crafter needs. Great selection of fabrics! The staff that works in the fabric department is friendly and helpful.They can be a little hit-or-miss in the customer service department at their point of sale. I sometimes get the worker who really doesnt want to be there, which is unfortunate.Overall, a great place to patron.

Employees are so eager to help and friendly. The store is clean, organized and shelves are stocked. I spend hours just looking around.

Good selection, friendly service but very slow especially if you need fabric cut. Also things get moved to the wrong place frequently and are then under the wrong price. Twice in the last month I have purchased something only to find it had been put in the wrong spot and cost 4 times as much!

Next to no staff. I was in a hurry, couldnt find the main thing i came in for and nobody to point me in the right direction. Only 1 cashier, with a customer who had a million coupons, 3 items, and an attitude about how to apply them. The lady behind me said shed rather go to Walmart, put her item down, and left. The cashier was nice, though when she finally asked the first customer if she could check me out while the mysteries of the coupons and the 2 wooden hearts were being unraveled. Next time, Michaels.

Frustrating. In order to use the coupon, I had to download your app. Then you want everything but my finger print. No Thank You!

Slowest. Cutting counter. EVER. Their fabric selection is not as varied as the Greenville store, and the organization of it is confusing. They dont have enough employees working at any time. One cashier, one cutting counter person, and there are 4 people in line at the cashier and 5 at the cutting counter. Im writing this on a Friday, which one would assume is a popular shopping day. They dont staff appropriately for volume. Next time I will just ask the Greenville store to order my fabric instead of coming to this one.
