If i could..i would live in this bookstore...so COZY..I love this book store. Im so glad i found. It is very big loaded with tons of books,magazines,kids books and learning toys. I enjoy the Starbucks makes it very cozy. Bathrooms are cleaning. Has a nice top floor view. Is near shopping and nice restaurants. I found one of my favorites books here..about TRAVELING and Driving.It is a two story book store so its loaded with nice books.

The food there is amazing. I love the retro style of the place. The fact that they dont make fast-food, takes you to a new experience which you can explore in the flavor of the food.

Wonderful place to bring the little ones, grab some coffee, peruse this nice and big bookstore. Liked visiting the children section, my kids enjoy reading there and picked up a few books. This is the biggest Barnes and Nobles I have yet visited in Texas so far and we loved it. As big as this store is and the face that its two floors, it is wheelchair accessible. From the parking lot to the inside, this store is accessible and accommodates everyone. Great customer service and atmosphere. They have the best selection of books and magazines as well as cookies. So you can enjoy coffee, cookies, books, magazines, relaxation, and reading.

Really poor selection compared to other Barnes and Noble’s - good luck if you don’t want a brand new release. The cashiers are very sweet but the “info desk” folks are universally rude and (without fail!) seem incredulous that you might actually ask them a question. Also, the escalator has been broken for months. I will take my business to a different bookstore.

Love Barnes & Noble!!! This location is huge and since the moment you enter the store you feel a great, peaceful, relaxing, entertaining, excited, philosophical environment!!! I could spend hours just looking around at titles and other interesting things!! You can also get a Starbucks coffee inside the store or a delicious snack/sandwich! For sure you can find what you are looking for at this location and also they have fair prices!!! Staff here is super friendly and super helpful!! You can also normally find parking around the store with no problem! This is a must visit location! Two stories of great content!!! (See pictures)

I don’t remember her name but I was helped today by a girl with long brown hair and glasses to find a copy of Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke by Eric LaRocca. She was so nice and helpful!!!!! She also helped me find the translation I wanted of The Master and Margarita. Wonderful staff, super helpful!

Great bookstore. B&N has other publishers beyond the mains, so there are often writers available outside of the NYT bestseller list. The Starbucks is also a welcome addition

I hadnt been in a book store, let alone Barnes & Noble, in such a long time! I had forgotten how great it was to browse through best selling books of all kinds. The store was impecable and full of people scattered throughout the store trying to socially distance.

I love books and bookstores. Glad to see Barnes and Noble still doing it. This mega building is awesome. Absolutely beautiful and good vibes to browse and find a book. Nice cafe for those that need a drink and a snack. I always find something interesting and walk out happy.

Nice and big. I didnt know books were still do popular! They do make wonderful gifts, and theres also a fabulous magazine selection. Recommended.

What you see is what you get. Great hours, great location, great service. Books are priced way above retail; but for public services and a cool place to study. I like it on the weekends.

Obsessed with books, and the smell of books. We frequent this two story Barnes & Nobles with the kids and I love that they are looking forward to our trips for when they get to buy more books for themselves. Great selection and organized set up. The staff of always helpful, even when my kids are acting a little crazy. Watch the kids upstairs because the kids section is at the top of the escalator which makes me nervous. Stop if you’re looking for a new book!

My first time visiting a Barnes & Noble...this is such a great place to find vinyl records & CDs for good price! i thought yall just sold books, but the music section is outstanding!! i found several different genres, so it was nice to see the variety here...also found some cute board games and Funko Pops! 10/10 will definitely visit again👌

The girl with the face paint was nice at Starbucks but the other one had an attitude. She looked annoyed taking our order, and the Barnes n Nobles stunk so bad upstairs, I couldnt stand to be there without gagging D:

A great place to spend some meaningful quality time. It comes with our favorite Starbucks cafe and their selection of coffee and food is phenomenal. I will post more pictures of their food collection soon. They have 6 couches upstairs that makes reading much more enjoyable and relaxing.Staff are caring, kind, responsiveI - and are actually willing to help you. I was greeted when entering the front door with a “ Hello, welcome to Barnes and Nobles “ in addition to a big smile. Very professional.The bathrooms are located upstairs and are very clean. There’s a play area for kids on the second floor. It’s a very family friendly location.This location is by far one of the best B&Ns I’ve ever been to.I highly recommend this place.

Two stories! I am an avid book nerd and I was in heaven. My poor spouse was so ready to go. I could literally spend my entire day and paycheck there.

Have not been in a barnes and noble in a while. We was able to find the book for my daughter with the help of an employee. This place was very clean and the ambiance was inviting. When we went to check out we was looking at the book marks and the cashier was eyeballing us like we was about to sell a bookmark lol bit thats fine, she just doing her job!

Good selection of new releases and classics. Well organized for the most part. A few books/series were in the wrong section. Employees were helpful and friendly. They have a good selection of fiction books as well as fiction from big franchises such as Star Wars, Halo, and Warhammer. Glad to shop here regularly.

Went for breakfast Saturday morning. Food and portions were fabulous. They were short handed and I felt bad. Our waitress was very polite and accommodating. Would definitely go again

The nicest Barnes and Noble in Dallas!I have been coming here for over half of my life now, and it is always the best! The store is clean, and the customer service is friendly!Us teens actually consider this a hang out spot!!You definitely seen a lot of South Lake students chilling here. Decent and quiet bookstore. Has almost everything you will need/want... staff are friendly... store is clean... snacks are always good and the view from the 2nd floor is gorgeous... however I reduced one star as the seating area is limited... so you have to be a vulture/eagle 🦅 on the topic of seating...

It was so nice to be in a real bookstore again. Ended up spending over an hour perusing books and loading up my basket. I live in a much smaller city without any large box bookstores so I was in heaven. My only suggestion would be a section for award winning American authors, both fiction and non.

This location specifically is/has/and always will be absolutely so beautiful! Its such a spacious store with two stories with escalators and an elevator! This store has always been so clean and tidy with such a kind staff! I will always recommend coming here for anything! Birthday gifts, shopping for fun, for school or work! They have it all!

Cant beat the childrens club discount on books. Associates so catering to my children. Location is very helpful for kids. Location cant be beat. Southlakes outdoor quaint shopping center to stroll around.

I love this place, because I love books, coffee, boardgames, and just spending time wandering around the aisles. The staff is super friendly, too. And if you want to walk around, have dinner, catch a movie or do some shopping, the Southlake location is ideal for that.

Books, you guys! Wonderful books that smell great and feel great and might be overpriced, but go and savor and get your fill.

Despite having a huge selection of books, they dont always have the first book in a series. Otherwise, I would give a higher review.

Barnes & Noble stores are so well organized. It is always clean and comfortable inside. I am not a Starbucks fan, but many people are, which adds to being comfortable and feeling like you can stay a little bit longer and submerge yourself in a world fantasy, or adventure, or anything else that intrigues you. The staff is always knowledgeable, ready to help, and friendly. This is a great way to spend an afternoon.

Love how the reorganization of the store has allowed for more variety in certain genres, and everything is easier to browse. Love all the recommendations.

In spite of the pandemic. This place is very enjoyable and try to accommodate the best they can to the needs of their customers. I was browsing there for 1 hour and found everything I was looking for. Located in a nice area you expect everything to be super clean and sanitized....and it smed like but the restrooms.

Easy pick up for my book. They saved the last copy for me overnight.

Clean, enough chairs/sitting area available if you want to take your time while you find what youre looking for.

This Barnes and Noble is 2 stories of book heaven! I guess you should really Bookmark it 😏. In all honesty its the cleanest and nicest book store in the area ans the savings are awesome!

Generally good but today I noticed several people gathering in the cafe taking all the chairs to themselves and chatting for extended periods of time without wearing their face coverings or face masks. Basically acting antisocially and helping the epidemic spread. When I complained to an employee that they should be reminded not to break social distancing like this, and that they should be wearing their masks, he seemed unalarmed and grudgingly said ok indicating that he would. They werent drinking coffee, just gathering around a table closely sitting by each other. I watched from afar and this employee I talked to did nothing. There were two groups gathering like this, and one had five people in it. What does it take for people to act reasonably? Thats why were are in such a mess. There is an epidemic and people are dying. B&N needs to do better and enforce the state mandate! Enough letting people cheat ! Its a health issue, nothing else.

I was at Barnes & Noble in Southlake this past weekend. While there, I was greeted by nice employees and found some great buys!

The customer service is ok, the store itself has a whole lot to offer. The men and womens bathroom need work, cleaning and functioning toilets.

Some of the staff is unfriendly and it feels like the selection has been lacking lately, but overall still a great bookstore. Something that is starting to go away which is all the more reason to go!

Very unique layout, 2 stories

Great book selection, but the space inside seems very impersonal, and geared more towards pop culture (movies, tv, and board games) than books and reading and the community surrounding those items. While most of the employees very brisk and not very knowledgeable about sci-fi, graphic novels, or fiction books, those in the children section were very helpful, sweet, and knew a lot about what children might connect with.

It was so warm and cozy in there. They have chairs on the top level that look out onto the streets.

This place is jam packed with nearly everything you could want from from a bookstore. They have music, board games, electronics, kids toys, various cartoon and video game paraphernalia and books of course. Lots of stuff on sale often and for pretty good prices. They have a coffee shop and a kids reading nook that adds more value to the place. Its positioned really well off the highway and its surrounded by some fancy places to eat and and drink. I go here way too much.

Friendly staff assistant that helped order the book I wanted, should have it by Friday.

Great customer service. Called in and requested 2 books my teenager that she needed for school. The gentleman had them waiting for me to be picked up:)
