I was asked if I needed help by 5 employees one right after another. I have social anxiety and if I need help I will ask. I know it’s their job but these places really need to realize that bombarding customers really make us want to leave. If my fiancé wasn’t with me I would have left without buying anything. If I tell the first employee that I am good then leave me be. Please.

I worked for this location for 2 years until recently. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!-The store director is a bully.Majority of the management team talks badly about customers while they’re shopping in the store, on the store provided walkie talkie/headsets. Even our most regular shoppers were gossiped about each time they entered the store.-Store environment is absolutely toxic.-Employees are treated badly and paid u livable wages/poor wages.

The sales associates at this location are woefully obtuse. My sister was followed by an associate and made a to feel so uncomfortable that she decided to stop shopping and wait by the register as I was returning an item. We tried to continue shopping after, but were made to feel so uncomfortable with an audience of sales associates following and huddling by us constantly. Thankfully we can buy our preferred products directly from the brands and no longer will support Sephora until they hire more socially intelligent workers. I guess ultimately I feel sorry for these women that feel so powerless in their lives that they try to intimidate their customers.

Got the worst make up in my life, asked for a natural makeup and finish with brown blush, purple shadow and purple lipstick. Worst contour ever. They never asked the dress color. I trusted the process and at the end the rush me to pay because another appointment was coming in. Call the manager to share the concern few minutes later and she claimed me “why you did not tell me in the store” just WOW, instead come back we can fix it. I will never comeback to this store. Worst service ever.

This store was shabby, poorly stocked, and there must have been 8 or more sales associates in a tiny store at 10 AM on a Tuesday. Sales team was friendly, but every few minutes I was asked if I needed help, it got old quickly. I wanted to use a GC I had, and cashier bluntly stated, they wont honor because there isnt a baroda, and had to be typed in to redeem? Hugely disappointed, because the GC was for ANY vendor at shops of Southlake. I think Ill shop another location next time.

Got a 30-min Feature Focus, my beauty advisor was Jessica Vallejo- she did an amazing job! I went in not really knowing what kind of makeup I wanted done, but she helped me to pick something that matched really well with my dress. So happy!

Rarely do I ever find myself in this Sephora due to the lack of good experiences here. Against my better judgment I was in the area visiting surrounding shops and I need some milk makeup primer and to my dismay, Sephora was my closest option at the time. I went in, had the usual cold experience from all employees and then I ran into one employee and her name is Nici and shes the only reason this review gained another star. She was kind and very welcoming to helping me. It was very refreshing especially in crazy times like these where getting out is a rarity. She was an even better find than the primer! I went in for makeup and felt like I was walking out having made a friend. 5 stars for the woman who took the time out of her day to help me find what I needed with some awesome suggestions along the way. Other than that, I feel the whole store needs a whole new team refresh. My advice is just to shop Sephora online instead of southlake, friends. Not many other locations are quite as bad as this one, but everyone has their nose so far in the air, its hard to find anybody down to earth. Hope this helps future shoppers.

Im a VIB customer and spend good money with this company but.... this is the worst SEPHORA location Ive ever visited..the whole atmosphere is uncomfortable as soon as you walk in ..I asked for assistance finding a product..they only pointed in the direction...as i walked towards the direction they pointed I noticed one of the ladies use her ear piece talking to the other workers. There after searching for the product two workers pop up on the other side of the shelf I assume looking to see what i was doing...but never asked me if i needed assistance...and to the manager or shift lead (Caucasian thick lady with dark root ombre blonde hair up in a bon) All Black People DO NOT STEAL & youre a beautiful lady but your attitude is trash which made you very ugly maam. Went in today and for the 15 minutes I was in the store no one greeted me or offered me help of any kind. I was trying on samples of foundation to find my color and was ignored. Stepped to the back of the store to call my mom and when I looked up from my phone the two women standing at the other side of the store were staring at me as if I were stealing. Never again.

I’m pretty sad to see so many bad experiences :( I was greeted at the door by Lilith (hope that is spelled correctly) who was the brightest part of my day! She helped me get another employee to navigate and shade match me in the store with my three kids. Everyone was quick to help even after I knocked over product with my daughters car seat. One employee looked less than please about it but can you blame them? The last thing I would want is a mom of three and her kids touching everything in the store. They were quick to fix it up and I apologized I almost never get out for myself anymore! Needless to say Lilith needs a raise! She instantly sets a vibrant happy mood walking in and I really appreciated how they got me in and out. And her eye look today was killer! Sorry everyone else had a bad time, maybe y’all just give off a bad vibe 🤷🏼‍♀️

Awful. No one allowed inside, after driving 44+ miles to come purchase a product. Once they consented to fetch a product and allow me to purchase, refused to accept CASH. All under the guise of covid protection. If I were concerned about my health I would stay home and protect myself. Will never purchase another product from Sephora.

Do you ever go inside somewhere and just get this instant weird vibe? Thats how I felt here. I think the attitude that the employee took towards a customer who didnt have the right kind of mask, really ruined my experience. And then they have to give you the same 10 minute speech about mask protocol (i.e.,dont let it slip below your nose), no touch rules (Dont touch the products, blah, blah, blah), and 6 foot distancing. It definitely doesnt scream welcome to our store. And then, once inside, they watch you like a hawk and surround you like vultures just waiting for you to break the no touch rules. Its really obnoxious and uncomfortale. I am done with Sephora, both online and in store.

My wife went in today to make a purchase today and was harassed by the woman inside about proper wearing of her mask. She had her mouth covered when she passed by the 1st woman at the door but not her nose due to health reasons. She told the woman this inside but the woman kept asking her what her health issue was saying you cant wear it or you wont wear it? She continued to use intimidation, but my wife refused to tell the woman her health issue which is her right as the store woman is not even supposed to ask. I just wanted to make people aware of this stores violation of the governors orders about people with health issues or disabilities. NO SOUP FOR YOU! COME BACK NEVER!

Wouldn’t return items because it was 3 days passed 60 days. However, I’ve had to isolate myself twice in the past 2 months due to COVID. I don’t think it’s right that I’m being punished for a pandemic that is out of anyone’s control. I did like this store very much. I will never step foot Back into this Sephora EVER again, I run a business and do a better job then the lady that was running this Sephora today - first off my mask is a bit big so it kept slipping off and I can’t wear other ones because I’m allergic to certain materials - hints as to why my mom and I make our own mask ....... I also wasn’t aware that you couldn’t take your mask off for 2 seconds to take a sip of your drink, I felt completely uncomfortable in there and hardly anyone was polite about the mask wearing minus the gentleman checking me out! I am not ok with how I was treated - as we are all going through enough, everyone knows the rules and is aware of what they are suppose to do!! Horrible service, don’t even deserve a one star..

Super disappointed with my employee interaction today. I required the help of someone to test multiple colors for me (you get a 20 second briefing before coming in that lets you know only employees can test products for you). And my god, she was AWFUL. Its as simple as getting a swatch of what Im requesting, but she was just ignoring what i asked for and would swatch multiple other colors, taking her time before doing the one I wanted. She made a rude remark saying at least someone pays attention when I lightly reminded my bf not to touch the testers (this was his first time ever in a makeup store, which she knew, and he doesnt even know what a tester IS). Also, I asked her if she knew what color the girl in the campaign was wearing (they typically say on the board, but not this) and she made another remark saying idk I didnt help create this campaign. Well... Its okay that you dont know, but as a customer it shouldnt hurt to ask. Why be so rude?

Im leaving a review, first of all, because I cant believe theres a lot of bad ones.My friend and I went here, and every single associate there was nice, helpful, informational and patient. Even with lots of questions they continued to show and help us, never feeling like a bother in anyway. Not to mention we got the hydrating perks facial which was pretty awesome. We had multiple workers ask how it was and if we enjoyed our experience overall. Which we did. They helped us with multiple recommendations, as well as even helping us pick a place to eat when we left.Great customer service!

There is a reason that I have a brand loyalty to Sephora. I cant imagine ever going anywhere else for any skin care or make up needs. I went in last week because I was in serious need of guidance to DIY my wedding make up this weekend. Due to the mask regulations I thought this was going to be the hardest process in the world but Tierra was legitimately a miracle worker and matched my skin color perfect with over 20 products and without sampling anything! She went way above and beyond to help me and I couldnt have achieved the right look without her. I have Tierra and Sephora to thank for helping me make my wedding-day-look exactly what I imagined. Tateum even helped me find the perfect lip color, and for a girl that doesnt wear any lip color ever, thats not easy! Thank you guys for being so stinkin awesome!

Overall, very good experience! Had a 45 min makeover with Jessica, that ended up being 1 1/2 but hey Im not complaining! She took time to make sure I loved what makeup was being used and how I looked. I dont wear makeup so it was important that I loved the makeup. It took a few tries to find the right foundation (Im kept looking pretty pale and ghostly) but we found one that worked. Prices as sephora are pretty steep, but the experience I came for was very good. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I arrived 10 min early and was greeted immediately by 2 people and let me know it will be a few min. Everyone I encountered was super nice. PLUS she made me feel fabulous afterward!

Very bad experiences, because of my Hispanic aspects from the moment I entered until I left they were behind me as if I was going to steal something I had my baby and a woman told me she cannot touch anything and I answered her and if she touches that they should take some classes I know how to treat people we are all the same no matter what skin colors

It was packed on a Sunday. A makeup artist was very helpful and informative - I wish Id gotten his name. The checkout lines were too long. And the checkout associates were not friendly (to me or the person after me). I usually enjoy my Sephora experiences - I probably wont be visiting the Southlake location again.

I would honestly have rather given a 5 star rating but I just couldnt due to the main part of my experience this last go round. I went in with specific acne related concerns while requesting someone that had both knowledge & experience regarding my issue at hand help me out (finding a good liquid foundation to provide better coverage for acne & redness).The first 2 reps I came upon mentioned 2 reps that could further assist me - both were busy helping other customers so I was directed towards a different rep that claimed she could help since she had walked up on our conversation.Fast forward... turns out the rep I had been stuck with tried applying makeup to my face in the red/acne scarring areas w/o even applying moisturizer or primer... nothing but the foundation which is a no-no. I questioned her a few times about why she isnt applying anything underneath so I can physically see better results if Im going to buy something different & she had no answers. To top it off when she stopped applying the foundation on the partial area of my face she stated it looked good & matched my skin tone - Wrong! I have pink undertones & she put yellow undertones on my skin. It looked blotchy & wasnt even blended.After I kept on pressing her with multiple questions & complaining about the wrong color she picked I thankfully gained a different rep to help. She was way more knowledgeable & guided me through what she was doing as well as put on layers (moisturizer, primer then foundation)... plus she blended it like you are supposed to. There was also the 2 other reps (that I was referred to at the beginning) that did finally get free & came over to give more advice since they struggle with acne.To sum this all up I did receive help from multiple reps but that one rep that seemed clueless on how to perform as a makeup artist & lacked knowledge she had claimed to have had was why I only gave 4 out of 5 stars rating.Please make sure you ask for someone that has experience or working knowledge of the subject matter you are coming into the store for otherwise you will get stuck with someone faking it until they make it where you wont see anything good become of buying what products they are trying to sell you on.

I love the Sephora in South Lake. When I get my make-up done, I go to them. The make-up artist are very professional and knowledgeable. They know what they are doing, the know how to highlight for facial features. I needed help deciding what face wash and moisturizer to buy and the sales associate person there helped me a lot. Went in to return Libre by YSL which I bought for my fiancee for xmas because it didnt well wear on her. I tend to shop quietly without assistance at first and was met by Elyse who gave me the space I needed. When I did have questions for her she was refreshingly candid and genuine..she hit a home run with Juliette has a gun..not a perfume..a spectacular fragrance that my lady loved. I took my 12 year old daughter to the Southlake Sephora for a makeup tutorial. We had a fantastic experience! Our beauty consultant, Natalie, was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. She walked my daughter through the entire make up process (a little daunting for some new to makeup) and explained everything in an easily understandable way. Terrible customer service, store manager is so rude. I had 2 different employees tell me about a coupon for their rewards program, both gave me false information. The store manager still wouldn’t give me the coupon because I did not have a barcode, even though her employee told me that they could do it w/o the barcode. However I have spent countless dollars at this store at the Southlake location for my makeup wants and needs. I’ve never met a more unprofessional manager in my entire retail experiences. Needless to say, I will never shop at this location ever again.

I have been visiting this Sephora for years, but I am writing this review because of one sales associate. Her name was Danielle and she was beyond helpful and did not rush me at all. I came in looking for a liquid foundation that I already own but was out of. They were out of my color but she offered to get me a sample of my current color and then also offered another brand that she thought I would like and got me a sample of that one. I also explained to her my frustrations of running out quickly and she offered suggestions and tips. She also showed me multiple offers going on that come with being a Rouge status that I didn’t even know of. I highly recommend visiting this location and getting her assistance! 😊

This has been the best experience I’ve ever had at a Sephora. For starters, I called the location and asked if they had a certain product in stock because sometimes the website isn’t current on inventory. The location did have it in stock and they even held it for me at the cash register! Whenever I got there, it was very easy. No line and I just walked up to the register, paid for my item, and done! Afterwards, my boyfriend wanted to smell colognes and the associate offered us free samples of any cologne we wanted! This has never happened to us before at any Sephora! The associate even gave us advice on which colognes smell similar to his favorite notes. Overall, it was the best experience and I’ll definitely be back!

I dont know who could say they have bad CS. Ive been in here at least 5 times over the last 2 years, and every time I get greeted at the door and helped immediately. Ive been so impressed with the customer service, every time, that I wanted to come post a review. It doesnt matter whos working or what time it is, you get a consistently awesome experience, all around. As far as I can tell, the employees dont work on commission but they treat you like their livelihood depends on ensuring that you have a great experience and are taken care of.If every other business was like Sephora, we would be in good shape. I show them my girlfriends Sephora wish list and they take me around and gather up the products for me. Then they beautifully gift wrap them for me as I check out. Their return policy is the best Ive seen anywhere. All you need is the items in unused condition and they give you cash back...no receipt necessary. Its a slam dunk all the way around. If your significant other doesnt like the product, they can just return it for cash.

Manager Derrick is very unprofessional and poor in customer service. I have returned the item a month ago and never received my refund. THEY ARE VERY IGNORANT AND RUDE. I have contacted sephora customer service and they sent the complaint to the HQ but never received a call since then. I am concerned how they manage staff and customer service when I tried so many times to speak with district manger about this issue. I love to shop at Sephora but it makes me really uncomfortable to shop surrounded by staff who are very poor in customer service and rude.

I called first to make sure that my foundation color is in stock since many Sephora’s are out of stock for Fenty foundation. The representative who I spoke with on the phone was so sweet and found my shade and offered to hold it for me! I let her know I was wanting to be matched due to purchasing the previous one online and she welcomed me to visit and I did ( I drove 50 minutes to this location) and they helped me find a better shade! Was at the Sephora Southlake location recently needing help with a new skin care regime due to hormonal acne flare ups. Was greeted by sales associate, Diane, who said she could help. Diane asked me some questions about my skin and we then went to the computer to do an analysis of what might work best for me. We looked at a couple of different things. Diane suggested Sunday Riley and i bought 2 of their kits. After a week my skin was looking so much better that I returned to get the full size products. Thank you Diane for your great help! HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE. I work on retail in southlake ! there is no excuse for the way the workers act. Ive gone three times and in all Ive been treated poorly. I was wondering if I could get some help finding a different foundation for my skin type. I explained to the girl which one I used, and she conducted herself towards me as if i was a bother. Her answer was, stick to the one you have. That sephora has a variety of brands why not try and help me ! thats why she gets paid. Another time, this worker, a guy was in the middle of a conversation with a coworker, and all i asked is if I could get help looking for a mascara that I had forgotten the name of and he looked at me and treated me with disgust as if I was dumb... I am not the person to write reviews, but this store has truly being so rude. To whoever is management, and if you read this! Work on Good Costumer Service ! or hire people that are happy to work !

Rude staff. Awesome makeup store. They have everything you can be looking for. But horrible customer service. Please learn how to say sorry, thank you, how may I help you, did you find everything all right, and is there anything more we cam do. Please learn to stick with the customer till they have their questions resolved. Dont just walk away when the customer still apparently needs help. Please learn to be more invested and interested with the presence of customers around you instead of giving mean, suspecting glares. Please learn to have the sincere intentions for customers betterment. Do not neglect them. Do not give short, uncaring responses. Learn to give more details and explanation to customers question. Recommend them other supplementary products because there are so many products that we as customers do not know of. Please learn to treat your customers as customers, not just some nuisance. It is so little that we as customers are asking from you. Will it really hurt your ribs to utter some nice words? I never write reviews but I had to for this specific store in Southlake because I, as a customer, have never been so disrespected and neglected. I have been to MAC and other sephoras, and this Sephora in Southlake trumped the worst makeup store there can ever be. I only appreciated one staff who worked there. He was a black male and I commend his efforts. Others need to do some work.

I went into Southlake location this evening for daily sunscreen.... I came in for one brand & she said this brand might be better. No big deal, Ill try both & come back next week or so to purchase the one I like best. I didnt pay any attention while she was putting the samples together. I got home to find this as my sample, pic below. I couldve just bought the entire product & exchanged it if I didnt like it. Instead of this, possibly enough for 1 application along with having to get back to sephora in the next 2-3 days. I normally go to Highland Village or Galleria stores & they would NEVER let me walk out of the store with one pump of a product. If this was the first time this similar experience occurred I wouldnt say anything. The last time I could tell the guy helping me had a huge problem making me samples as soon as I asked. Next clue, was when I couldnt locate him again in the store. Southlake is by far the worst Sephora location Ive visited.
