We love the cooking classes at the Southlake Sur La Table! Chef Rich is an AMAZING teacher and so fun to be around. We couldn’t have asked for a better host to help us perfect this delicious meal. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something fun to do for a date night (and it’s BYOB). PS- tip your chefs, they work hard! 🥰

Beautiful tools, dishes, pans...so many gorgeous things for your kitchen! I love coming in here, especially during Christmas time, to look at all their products. It usually smells delicious due to the cooking classes going on in there too. 😍🤩

A pricey night out, but we had fun. Mike, our teacher, was really engaging and funny. We went with family and enjoyed that you can bring your own wine to enjoy during the class. Unsure if we’d do it again, but it was a nice night out.

So happy the store is back. The customer service was great. Brenda was exceptional!Her tips relating to a Staub pan convinced me to purchase, then she climb a ladder to fetch a new pan in a box - walked my purchase to my car in 93 degree heat and found my lost credit card on the floor!!!She was exceptional, thank you Brenda!

Had a great experience at this location due to a couple of helpful staff members here.I called to check the price on a promotion and Jordan picked up the phone. He was courteous and helpful, going as far as ringing up the item at checkout to make sure the price was right.Unfortunately, he did not have the item in stock. He said they had a shipment on the way and he would give me a call once it arrived.Two days later, I received a phone call from them to inform me that the item was now available. I knew the promotion had ended so I asked if they would still honor the price. I was hopeful, but I did not expect them to do so since the promotion was over prior to my purchase.To my surprise, they did honor the now-expired promotion. They even agreed to hold it for me for a couple of days until I could make it over to pick it up.My pickup was very smooth as well, and was done quickly by the helpful staff member who greeted me upon entering the store.Overall I really enjoyed my experience with this location and would not hesitate to return in the future. Jordan, who may have been the manager here, went above and beyond to ensure I received the item and the promotional price. We will definitely be back in the future for our kitchen needs!

Sur La Table was such an enjoyable experience. We were overwhelmed with so many cookware choices, but Selmas expertise, knowledge, recommendations, and fabulous personality made all of the difference. If you ever find yourself at the Southlake location, ask for Selma and she will guide you perfectly!

My girlfriend and I did the Date Night: A Taste of Tuscany cooking class. We enjoyed the class. In the class we made roasted broccolini with lemon and toasted garlic breadcrumbs, herb crusted pork tenderloin with white bean and wild mushroom ragout, and poached pears with prosecco zabaglione. The class was fun and we learned some new techniques on how to make this tasty dinner. The teaching chef was Mike and he did a great job demonstrating and answering questions. This was our 2nd time doing a cooking class at the Southlake location and 3rd time overall at Sur la Table. We would go again.

Big selection, helpful sales staff. Better quality at higher (but reasonable for that quality) prices. If you are looking for better than what you can find at the box stores, this is a great place.

Jordan was amazing and helped us find all the items we wanted. He was also friendly and not grouchy that we were calling with a lot of questions. He was super patient with us! Thanks Jordan and thanks Sur La Table for hiring awesome professional people!

Friedman staff and clean atmosphere. Yes pricey, but you are buying quality stuff. Just recently bought a Kramer knife. They let me handle it and try it. Great experience.

Went to a cooking class here for Valentine’s Day and had a good time but it was definitely overpriced for the experience and food you receive. Also, there were some couples that got the luck of the draw by not having to be in a team of 4 so they got to eat the whole steak they made whilst others did not. Can you say unfair?If you do take a class here, be sure to bring wine or whatever beverage you prefer with your dinner. There is only water and coffee at the facility.

Selma was the best.

Took a cooking class here with high hopes of learning some techniques from professional cooks. This did not happen. Basically paid a lot of money for an instructor to go through a reciepe plan, with very little professional knowledge in excutinng the recipe. I can follow instructions just fine but I wanted to learn the subtle cooking techniques from the cooking professionals.

Not the most pleasant of visits. Personnel is not that friendly, we walked it and were immediately met with a rude chorus of “Closed!” Even though the doors were open and there was no other indication otherwise that it was past operating hours. It would be nice it they behaved more respectively and provided some indication that they were closed. A normal establishment would either lock their doors at closing and/or post a sign.

Sur La Table is a great addition to the cooking supply stores in the area. It was great to see them come into the area, as they offer many great lines of products for the kitchen. This store can seem very cramped though and they often seem to have extra inventory sitting around the store so that you can not walk around all that well.The staff will answer your questions but you have to hunt them down sometimes, as they seem busy with others tasks.I have not taken a cooking class here yet, but I am looking forward to the experience.

I enjoyed the chef at the cooking class but I’m pretty pissed Off about the class itself. When I’m paying close to $100 for a class I shouldn’t be standing and watching other people cook for 70% of the class.My boyfriend and I had to share a cooking station with two other people so my experience consisted of lading custard into a dish and cracking eggs. I’ve had a class at the Fort Worth location and my partner and I actually had our own station where we got to actually cook. I feel ripped off and I will never take another class again.

Got my knives sharpened here before thanksgiving. I dropped them off Friday around 11am and was told 48HR turnaround. Which was fine since I had allocated the time. Got a call around 3pm that same day to day they were ready. Highly recommend!

Another bad experience with workers. No help and rude staff. This one takes the cake. Said she would be right back with more info but saw her helping others who came in after me. Went to Williams Sonoma.

Wouldnt honor their weekend promotion after I spent double the cost

Ive been taking cooking classes there for a while but these last few times havd been lackluster. They don’t start on time and they rush as a result. The store itself is limited in products and often what they have is overpriced.

My daughter and I participated in a hands-on cooking class with Chef John Croatti and Chef Diane Grant. We did the Global Flavors: Dumplings class. It was 2 hours and we made three different dishes. The chefs were very down-to-earth and welcoming and the food was delicious and fun to make.

We have participated in 3 cooking classes at this location and each one has been amazing. Love the chefs that teach there, and having a chance to look around and snag a discount is really nice.

Solid knife skills class with an extra session with Justin on knife sharpening. Class was only six people so everyone got individualized attention. Workshop kitchen was clean and spacious. Also recieved a coupon for use afterwards at the store.

Beautiful store with amazing high end selection. Perfect for looking around and then purchasing the same thing on Amazon for about 50% to 70% less. Laughably ridiculous prices.

I was blessed to have Chef John Croatti teaching Cast Iron Cooking...he is a Pros Pro...my wife Suzy & I have been cooking with our 50 year old cast iron pans...but I learned a thing or two from John on seasoning and cooking. He is an excellent teacher, well organized and friendly...I highly recommend the class... the chicken breasts turned out tasting awesome!!! Burt

Not one single person said hello. I was so excited to see this store come to southlake. I love the store in Oakbrook Mall in Illinois. May try again. Not too impressed.

My wife and I attended a cooking class last night and weve had food poisoning symptoms since earlier this morning.We think that the shrimp was bad.
