I ordered a 70 antenna with a 10 mast pole, the antenna was damaged by Palco Electronics chosen shipping company. I put in a referral to a friend of mine and he ordered one the following week, his was damaged as well. The shipping company that delivered my tower called me and refused to come down my road and was going to return the tower to the manufacturer, or I could meet them and pick it up. I chose to meet the driver and put the tower on my trailer. He was parked in the middle of a main road in a small community. I had to get turned around and back my truck and trailer up to him. Do to the already stopped traffic, I hurriedly got my delivery and left without inspecting it. A few weeks later, on the scheduled install date I unpacked the components. Thats when I noticed the aluminum webbing material had been torn of the tower poles. I called Palco Electronics to express my concerns and was pretty well told it was no concern of his and it was my problem. I understand, I signed for a package without thoroughly inspecting it first. Due to the delivery companys short coming, I was not able to. The rude nature and no willingness to even discuss the matter was a concern to me. So, I called my friend and asked if he had received his tower yet, He advised me he had. I told him of my situation and asked if he had inspected his tower, he said he had not. My friend called me the next day and said his tower was damaged as well. I hauled the top two sections of our towers to a machine shop for repairs, mine was $150 and his was $480. Enough said.
