Store is gross. Items always out of stock. Cookies in bakery are always hard (supposed to be soft). And the produce is always rotten and over priced. There has literally been molded and rotten produce both fruit and vegetables the last few times Ive been to this store. It doesnt matter what day of the week you go this store is always like this. Really sad considering the location. They need to do a deep clean and keep produce fresh

The Kroger corporate office needs to revamp this store. The store is dingy inside. The deli and vegetables look spoiled. The fresh fish dept. lights in the area are out most times with no one behind the counter. Most of the associates are rude. I do not understand why this store location does not have the same quality and service as the other Kroger stores in area. I will shop at some of the smaller health food stores and the dollar store for paper towels.

This is the second time that I have arrived at this store to make a deli purchase, only to be told it is, again, closed. Maybe a notice on the entrance door or at the counter would be courteous. To see someone behind the counter and not acknowledge you is not good customer service. Each time, I had to go to customer service to find out the deli was closed. I want to patronize my neighborhood store, but continue to be sent to another Krogers.

Unbelievably rude and useless customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I won’t bother coming to this Kroger’s ever again.

This was my first order pick up at this store, no problems until I got home to unpack my bags and found 3 out of the 4 bagged salads were marked down because they were expiring the next day and charged me full price. The 2 avocados that they selected were so soft that they were dented in and rotten. I called the store multiple times, spoke to no one as the line would just hang up on me. Im extremely disappointed. Other then going into the store to get my money back, which is very inconvenient and why I ordered them in the first place.

Nobody here can help you- response from the person behind the customer service counter.This is the worst Kroger I have ever been to. My first Kroger experience was after I moved to Atlanta back in 2011 and the stores were a delight. I moved to this neighborhood in 2017 and was expecting a similar experience. This store is a dump (aside from the Pharmacy which always provided me with excellent service- thats actually what the extra star is for).I often walk into the store and there are no carts available except for broken ones...how broken is determined after a few feet of walking with them. Then I need to go outside to find a cart and often times they are broken but I dont learn that until its on a smooth service inside the store. Even for the quick shopping trips shopping baskets are rarely available and I need to walk from register to register trying to find a basket.The store itself is gross, and with many empty shelves. It was like this pre-COVID and its still like this.Given the opportunity I will drive to a different Kroger 3 miles away or another 4 miles away, but should I really need to?Today I was actually shocked by the response received by the person behind the customer service counter. There was a refrigerator case in the back of the store that usually holds several meat-substitute products that was completely empty this morning like it is broken. I walked up to the customer service counter to ask where all of those products were moved to. The counter agent replied Nobody here can help you.Please Kroger Management---do something about this store!!

I don’t get why this Kroger has so many negative reviews. I get it. It is not as big as the one in Troy or the one on Stephenson highway. They are not the same. This has always been a solid location for me to pick up the basics. Granted, if I am looking for specialty items, I do not come here.I also need to point out I have never had a bad experience stopping in here over the last 20 years.I need to stop referring to this place as ghetto Kroger. I have had a great customer experience here.I don’t recall a time where I had terrible customer service here. But I can tell you more than one time at the other bigger stores. Anywho this Kroger is awesome.

This place has four stars. Really? For what? My husband went this morning to get a money order. No one is in the store. For it to be an empty store, the management sure was busy. He asked the so-called manager for help and her response was WHAT?! Who promoted her to manager? I do not care for this location and will be contacting corporate. Do better screening before hiring anyone, especially for a management position.

This is the absolute worst kroger in southeast Michigan. I shop in krogers throughout Oakland, Wayne and Macomb counties daily for my job, and this is the worst of them all. Staff is always angry and treat me like Im disturbing them when I ask a question. Consistently out of product, and in general not clean. Even see staff taking smoke breaks in front of the store. I want to shop at this location because its close to home, but I would rather drive the extra miles to a different store than waste my time at this one.

Horrible associates, they have rude attitudes and when you tell them they are wrong because the add doesnt say that ! They wanna act like they are 2 years old. Way too much attitude! Because a CASHIER didnt want to scan something for a customer! Do your job!! Very lazy!! They lost my business!!

The pick up is a joke. The last few times I have ordered groceries they are not ready for the time I need them. Today I needed a 7am slot (the first time available) and got a call 15 minutes before stating it won’t be ready. How do you start off behind. Don’t waste your time. Ridiculous

I went to send money through Western Union this past Tuesday and stood in line at 6:40 pm. The lady in front of me turned around and said “the worker said I was the last one for tonight.” The worker then looked up and said “I’m closed.” I said “Online said WU was open till 10 here.”She rudely replied “I know what online says but I’ve been here since 11AM and ain’t nobody else came.” I asked if she could make an exception for me as this money was going to family members overseas who are struggling to get food for them and their families. She responded “I already turned other people away and I don’t want them to get mad.”This is unacceptable. Very unprofessional, inconsiderate and apathetic. Will never be back.

At Kroger now (2:26pm). Only 1 cashier working. The line is to the back of the store. Wheres management????

Always a great shopping experience.

Great selection of food produce and usually pretty fresh. The clerks are friendly. I love shopping there for my veggies.

I went to the bakery and asked the woman if they had any cakes with buttercream frosting. She said satin icing is buttercream. I said are you sure. She said yes so I purchased the cake. Later on, I tasted the cake and it wasn’t buttercream. I was furious. I took the cake back and the manager was more than helpful. The lady who serviced me earlier asked what the problem was. He said satin icing is not buttercream. She had the nerve to have an attitude. I gave 5 stars because he tried to decorate my daughters cake and I really appreciated his effort. However her attitude sucked to horribly.

Extremely clean and well organized supermarket. The employees are super helpful and courteous. Theyre prices are fantastic as well as theyre quality of meats and produce. Wish they were closer to me. Its worth the drive.

Convenient and self serve is helpful. Almost always a good deal on my staple products fresh fruits and veggies and the Kroger brand is awesome and priced to sell (without price sticker like other stores). I saw miracle whip at a local convenience store the (the regular sized jar) for $8.99! Kroger Miracle whip at Kroger is no more than $4. Consistently!

Store smells like old nasty grease every time. Fruits and Vegetables are bruised low quality and likely out of stock. Kroger pickup is convenient and women who brings them out is always friendly. The rest of the staff including managers and service desk employees are some of the rudest customer service individuals I’ve ever met. Deli meat selection is so sub par. Do your self a favor and go anywhere else.

How about keeping stickers for sales and sale prices up to date and STOP, for the love of everything, selling Kroger brand seltzer waters that your returnable machines don’t accept, it’s infuriating.

This location is never stocked the shelves are always empty the manager went to the back to check to see if they had more water, I waited over 15 minutes he forgot that he had me waiting only to say that they were out!

This is one of the nicer big stores for everything you need. The customer service is excellent!

Guess what? Eggs at this kroger are a lot more expensive than the kroger a few miles north in Birmingham! I buy a dozen extra large eggs for $1.49, but here its $2.19! Changing store location on the app also shows the price difference for all their eggs! What the hell man!

After holding on the phone for over 20 minutes trying to speak with customer service to ask what their MAX cash back amount was, I finally hung up and tried other departments only to get the same response over and over again “I don’t know I can’t help you” even after I told them I would hold on while they finished helping customers or when I asked them if they could ask a cashier or someone in customer service because I wasn’t able to get through. The last lady I spoke with that ANSWERED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE phone said “I don’t work in customer service that’s a question for them I can’t help you”. I can’t believe it’s that hard to ask an associate a question. I can go somewhere else for just as great deals, fresher produce, & GOOD customer service.

They have a huge variety of fresh vegetables, and groceries from all over the world. Good place to buy vegetables and groceries

I was pleasantly surprised.The store was well stocked, clean and staff, including Security, were pleasant, especially during this Covis-19 period. PREVIOUS visits to this store, I was NOT impressed. Dirty parking lots and store.I had gone to other stores because of that.

Krogers has better variety then Meijers, only sale items,& rare 2 find items...normal staples found elsewhere

I patronize this location only when its not crowded early in the morning. I call it the ghetto store. There are other locations that look far better. The attitudes of the employees is great though. They are very helpful and courteous.

I did a order pick up order for 4p they called to say come at 5p instead .. ok fine. I get there and check in for her to call and say they need 2 more hours. Finally received my order, made it home and I have 6 items missing however the manager Cory was very helpful and apologetic. Worst curb side service ever

Newly renovated. Very nice. I really like shopping here. Great produce and meat Depts. Doesnt have the selection as a super store but it fits the needs of my family. The staff is friendly and make you feel welcome. Perfect fit for the community. Always busy.

I love shopping at Kroger and I especially love patronizing the store at 19855 W. 12 Mile Road, Southfield, MI. I visit the store enough to be familiar with all of the friendly staff. I like knowing the layout of the store. I know where to find every item I need and if I cannot, the hanging signs clearing point out where to find what Im looking for. I also like that I run into my friends there from the community. The store is always clean and the items are always well stocked. Theres plenty of spaces to park and the stores location is easy to get to.

Produce section is almost always depleted and they often don’t have basic items that I’m looking for.

This location is always poorly stocked. Whenever I go in there, the produce section is practically empty, berries have mold on them. The shelves are picked over. The seafood looks likes it’s been there for weeks and the selection is slim.

I just like this Kroger because it either smells like fried chicken or baked goods. One more star if they were cleanlier and were more uptight about their customers displacing all their products but thats the neighborhood I guess.

They always have what i need. Although Meijer is closer, they are not always as adequately stocked. Kroger provides more of a family oriented and festive market experience. Plus their produce is fresher.

Very clean store with very pleasant staff. The people on the floor restocking and what not ALWAYS greet you when they walk past or make eye contact with you.

Sad to say that this is one of the worst-managed Krogers that I have been to. There are usually no carts inside the store except for damaged ones, and no shopping baskets upon entering the store either. My first minute is usually spent hunting for a basket or an undamaged cart. A few weeks ago I was searching for a seasonal item I had bought last year in the same store and I was told the store wasnt carrying it this year. Then 2 weeks after the season there was an entire cart if this particular item in the closeout section. Empty shelves, poor parking, today my car was completely blocked in be shopping carts even though I had seen an employee collecting carts earlier you would think he would try to unblock my car.

Pharmacy usually always nice, friendly, & helpful. But today went in to fill several scripts and the while waiting in line the pharmacist suddenly just hollers at me. She didnt even greet or find out what I needed. This type of treatment is uncalled for and she should be reprimanded. If she continues to be the pharmacist, I will find another location or company altogether. I spend lots of $ here and dont deserve bad service!

This location is too bourgeois for me. Had to give it 3 stars because what I was looking for appeared after I was ready to give up looking for it. I understand that the stockers have to stock the store but they werent keeping up with the crowd. My cashier was very nice but all the other shoppers have sticks so far up their behinds they were all walking funny. I wont be back not even for an emergency.

Everyone is always nice & Helpful. They should put this Krogers on a Commercial. My customer service representative kept me from loosing my Keys this Morning Yberra I think her name was. Shes Wonderful. All the Cashiers are Wonderful!

Great store! Theres a sushi and dessert bar and plenty of foods of the world to choose from. Staff are friendly and the wait time isnt long either. If they notice the lines getting long they always open more lanes.

Sorry to say that evening manager is very rude. I wanted to buy rock salt but he refused to sell me while it was available because he didnt want to open the packaging and told me to call 800 corporate to complain about him and gave me his name as Elphanzo. Now I am going some other Store to buy rock salt very rude person why even he is at customer service desk?

Forget about the app and Curbside pickups at this location... they hardly have whats listed as in stock. The aisles dont match the app when you make a shopping list. The layout inside is cramped and inefficient.There are just too many excuses with the pickups and not enough solutions.

Terrible, the lines were long the lady at the desk told me that the check out people will help me and then I was told she had people before me. The help was not there the line was long and every check out should have been open. I will look for another store to do my shopping. Hopefully I will get the courtesy that I deserve and spend my money where people appreciate you for coming in.

I was so angry today. An employee called today and was rude. I waited over a week for a pickup order. They called and said it would be two days later than the week. I didn’t have a problem because it’s almost impossible to get an order. This lady called being rude, hung up on me, and tried to delete my order. I called back and stayed on hold. Another employee put me on hold and got the manager for me. The manager fixed the problem. Asia delivered the groceries to the car. She was such a sweetheart. I had to drive out of my way for this order and they made it worth it. Too bad this attitude was not extended to the employee who calls about the orders. Thank you to management and Asia.

One of the older Kroger stores. Pleasant enough but likely time for a make-over soon. The newer locations are nicer.

I liked shopping with Kroger but not this one. The Deli section is a chaos. Super low pace, people wondering there with no line. Nobody honors the order of whos coming the first. When I talked this with the manager, she said I should have shouted out I am the next to draw the associates attention when she clearly tried to dismiss me on purpose, walked away to help someone she likes better. I was stand in line right after the lady she helped.

This location is huge but I love it the staff is friendly and professional and always willing to assist. The items are always stocked and they always have exactly what I need.

Outdated, poor selections compared to other locations, the floors are dirty. The owner is more focused on opening a fuel station and the landscaping than the quality of the store. However the staff is really friendly. Dont waste your time or money here unless you dont have a choice.

The staff is really friendly the store isnt kept well at all. Even down to the recycle center being dirty with only one machine working. I really think this store needs a remodel. Both of the Krogers by my home are much nicer. This place is just foul. I dread going to this one.

The store was recently remodeled, which was a nice touch. Its almost always busy due to the area but the checkout lines are usually never long.

So today we had to try and file charges against KROGERS Store Manager Mike of the 12 mile and EVERGREEN location. He physically pushed my step son and nephew. The moment he used his chest it was an assault against minors. If they were white I’m sure Kroger would make a big deal or apologize. Because we are black and called the police Kroger’s STORE MANAGER MIKE banned us from the store! Now let’s be clear when I got there we spoke to police only there was no contact with the store manager what so ever! This is our neighborhood store in lathrup village. KROGER SHOULD FIRE THIS MANAGER instead they gave him POWER! How is Kroger a family friendly organization! I heard there may be a video I pray it’s true! We go to this location every day the whole store has been like family. Its too hard to find Ice Cream in this Krager. Also, this one time I was standing in the self checkout line and this guy had like two items so I waited behind him and was like OK, this is fine, but then he whipped out about nine individual yogurts out his pocket and I had to wait precisely 12 minutes for him to scan each one and pay.

Great location. Roxanne was friendly and handled the transaction well. This store is organized, well-lit, and has all the essentials you need.

Kroger always has an excellent selection. Its easy to find kosher items as well.

12/27/18,1056pm, when we were purchasing a medicine a worker came up and said that we had to show a proof of ID, i left my wife to go get the IDs, by the time i came back he had told her that it was ok she can have it with-out proof of ID, and i went up to talk to the management and he also DID NOT ask for our IDs. And now im wondering if they allow undergarments purchase cigarette or alcohol

It was great that you guys upgrading the store, but horrible that you got rid of the healthy living organic section. Your workers dont know where the items are and it is annoying and a waste of my time to to have to hunt all over the store looking for organic items. Please bring the organic section back like all the otherkrogers. .
