Pros: Large selection of wigs and hair. They carry stylist preferred brands. Reasonable prices on make up.Cons: limited selection of hair care products lines. The staff are reluctant to help you find products and use a lot of tape and sensors on everything.There are more honest shoppers than thrives. It should not take a box cutter and 40 minutes to open one tube of lip gloss.

Beware!!!! They do not honor their advertised hours!!! They do not care about how unprofessional it is to say you stay open until a certain time but instead leave early without any regard to if someone looked up hours and made a trip to their business during business hours. FYI they really close at 8:50 and have very plan to walk out the door and lock up before 9:00pm even hits.Every reasonable business owner including myself understands that the purpose of advertised hours is to serve your customers until the hours you say end. So if you close at 8:50pm you need to change your advertisements to say that!!! They stop helping customers and even lock up and leave BEFORE 9pm!

Big and a huge selection of products and wigs to choose from. In my opinion the wigs are Overpriced but I guess thats every beauty supply store and the convenience you get from buying them physically in store and getting them immediately.

Its not as good as it used to be. It used to be fun shopping there. They used to have more helpful people working there but when they changed owners or whatever happened, it went downhill. The prices are lower as compared to Lees Beauty Supply, but youre pretty much on your own trying to find things. The other thing is, (VERY IMPORTANT!!!) they wont let you brush a wig when you try it on to see if it fits your face. If you cant brush it, you cant really tell if its right and then you cant return it if you buy it and you dont like it. I stopped buying wigs there because of this.

I called and asked JUST TO BE SURE what time they were closing (even though online it says until 9pm). I CALLED and they said they were open until 8:50 pm. So I got in my car and drove 30 frickn minutes, from Novi, and it was closed. Pathetic, thought you guys wanted money? So frustrated, this is not how you run a shop. Never coming down this way again. Stick to your words and posted schedule. Absolutely unprofessional!!!!

I Just had a bad experience the worker in the wig department kept distracting & rushing me & she misplaced a wig & she told her manager a wig is missing by me keep in mind i Never left the store & i Did Not have a bag. The conclusion is, she found the wig she had misplaced it in the wrong place busy distracting me. The cashier apologize to me i Still feel 😢 sad over this. Their service is horrible Now. I will Never shop back here.

Very pleasant and helpful employees. Well supplied with so many different products. Such reasonable prices. My hair color is very hard to find. They are the only ones that carry and keep my color in every style/design very well stocked! Can take your time and browse without being followed like many beauty supply stores. My family friends and I have never had a problem when we shopped there. We will continue to patronize Hollywood Beauty!

A couple years ago this place used to get on my nerves, but now everyone is so nice and sweet. This place is always busy and its one of my favorite Beauty Supplies besides the Honey I Love Beauty Supply on Orchard Lake Road because theyre ALWAYS sweet and nice especially to teachers :-) but anyway, I got a beautiful pink wig yesterday at Hollywood and the lady helping me was just a doll.

Disappointed the nail glue was behind the counter and not much of a choice.

I went there 4 weeks ago to buy a wig $130.00 while wait on the sales lady to go back and get the color that I wanted I ask the manager if I could have one of the large boxes that he had emptied and was using for trash He replied No No ! I have to send a boxes back to the Corp Office I ask him again and he told me to stop asking him . A empty box People I left the store and I also left the $130.00 Wig !And I promise to share with friend and family not to Shop at Hollywood Beauty ever again !You can spend youre money but you cant get a empty Box I will spend my Money else where! And this was the Owner!

Manager of the store is Extremely Rude and not very business intelligent when it comes to how she should treat customers who support her store. I came in today to purchase a head scarf and I asked the manager if I could try it on to see how it fit - mind you most stores would allow you to try on a head scarf. It is not a sanitary item. However, the manager said I could not try on the head scarf. In addition Ive spent hundreds of dollars of money on hair extension purchases from her store. I need to see if a head scarf looks right on me and fits the way I want it to and she cant allow that?! Oh what a joke! The Manger is a joke. Dont support her store.**The Manager is Not customer service oriented. I hope she reads this and implements better Customer Service Practices at her store.

Nice Staff. I’ve been there about three times. It’s clean. Nice environment and they usually have whatever I need.

Some of the staff members may have language barriers, but they are always so courteous and quite helpful. They have up to date items and never hesitate to order a product thats not in stock or on shelf.

Only giving 2 stars because they have a wide selection of products; which is probably the reason people continue to patronize even the the staff can be rude. I dont write bad reviews I just never spend my money in that establishment again. However because this company is visited by so many I felt compelled to submit my review. Came in 15 min before closing and felt like i had a gun to my head. Half staff had on they coats but they all ganged up on me and this other lady tryg to shop with lethal count dwn. Okaayy .. Its 848 we close in ten min. Pitiful how they cant appreciate customers till they just stop cmg!!!

Poor customer service. I got off work and got to the store at 8:55 p.m and the lights were off and I wanted to buy some weaves for my hair appointment for the next day. But, the lights were off and they said their alarms was set to go off at 9:00 p.m. and I was not allow to purchase anything. I was told to get there by 8:30 p.m. I driven all the way from work to get to there store. I have spent a lot of money there from weave to a blow dryer.....I will be shopping at Lees Beauty Supply on Greenfield instead.
