Every time I have visited this store it’s always packed and busy, but staff will still ask if you need help with anything. I recently bought jewelry in store, and even though they were super busy (due to having a great sale) time was made to accommodate each and every visitor; and she was working alone for awhile. She was super friendly, and made sure to let each customer know she had visibly seen then. Great job!

Shopping for some gold hoop ear rings and this delightful woman named Ellen serviced me. Ellen was knowledgeable of what I wanted and sensitive to my needs. She took the time to tell me about the sale and how I could same money. I left with what I needed and Im very satisfied with the service I received, Ellen is an asset to your establishment.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! JCPenney needs to HIRE more workers! Pick-up orders, Returns, and Checking-out are all done at the registers, and the lines are hella LONG! And... Forget about Curbside Pick-up, wont happen Captain! I picked up my order yesterday, 2 pairs of slippers, they got one size Wrong, I took the tag off, and figured I would rather my heel be at the edge of the slipper, than to tackle that line again, and thats a shame!

I was unable to find a dress shirt I needed. Their stock of dress shirts was very low and what theydid have were too small and too pricey. The people were nice, but inventory was lacking.

Visit was fine, store clean and no issues.

It was ok. Had a major sale on clothes. Bought a few things. But not in the store. Tried a few things on, got what I wanted and went to check out. Mile long line with 1 checkout. Nope. Put clothes back, went out to car and ordered online where I got the same prices. This is something a lot of stores are dealing with in this Covid environment unfortunately.

Ours near by are closed. This one was in Southhaven Ms about 100 miles from our home.

Very clean and well organized, fully stocked with multiple sizes in everything I looked at. Clean bathrooms and quick checkout even though there was a pretty good sized line. Only wish there had been more employees available throughout the store. Would definitely visit again.

I went to buy Lee brand jeans, of which they are no longer selling. So I chose Levi jeans, of which, I only found 2 pair in the whole store, surprised the sales person didnt say due to Covid we are running short. My size is very common, 34 by 34, found all odd sizes, which was very disappointing, not what I expected. I hope others have better luck, you will need it. Thanks

Good. Though, actually shopping for African garments, dresses, etc. Penneys once carried a variety of styles. I wish that was so, again.

My check-out clerk was very courteous and helpful to me. She assisted me in using my gift card while finalizing my purchase. She made my visit to JCPennys very enjoyable.

Well I originally went here to replace my husbands wedding band. But unfortunately they couldnt pull up ourpuchase (even though were still paying for it!!!!) So now Im going to have to go back to the ORIGINAL location I bought it from &pray that someone there can help me. Its IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANYONE ON THE PHONE, therefore I have to drive to 2 DIFFERENT locations! What a mess.....Im am completely aggravated and just not happy with the CUSTOMER service.

Love all of the discounts and additional savings at checkout! I recently purchased $70 worth of jewelry and accessories but ended up paying over $30! I didnt even need any coupons. I mostly only shop at the one in Southaven. I get my sons dress clothes and accessories and school uniforms here. The prices are reasonable and I love the available brands. I never spend too much for his clothing. Now, they dont have such a wonderful selection when it comes to shoes, though. It is lacking. I go elsewhere for his shoes and mine.

Great selection of clothing items. Especially in girl sizes! They always have great items in clearance! We spent 60 bucks and saved 376 dollars on the clearance dresses I bought for my daughters beauty pageant! She won the pageant in a 10 dollar clearance dress!

I really wouldnt give this place that 1 star, the one star is actually being generous. I purchased a coat in this store on black Friday and a 2 weeks later when I got ready to wear the coat, I realized there was a hole in the sleeve part. I took the coat back but I didnt have my receipt. I know every company have policies but I didnt want a refund, just another coat. The L.O.D was very rude. They didnt even ask if I was a reward member that day. They wouldve been able to pull my receipt from my phone number IF THE CASHIER WOULDVE ASKED. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE TO SPEND MY MONEY.

They have nice clothes, but the plus size need more options. A lot of the plus size clothing looks old fashioned. You cant find a nice dress in the plus size section. While the other section be over flowing with beautiful dresses. I wear a 20 and they stop at 18. You have to go on line just to find a nice dress. I do love the sales they run. I do think they can sale more trendy plus clothes. Not all plussize women want to dress older before time.

OMG..... one checker and one lady accepting returns and both making calls for help from management. Stood in line TWENTY MINUTES and heard pages from all over the store from different departments asking for help..... THIS is why online sales are booming nationwide. I dont blame the clerks, they were doing their best but dang!

If there was any way to leave 0 stars that would be the case. I live three hours away so my only form of communication is calling. I’ve called 4 times. The first two times I’ve been hung up on after the phone ringing multiple times. The last two times I can’t even get an answer. This is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. Might I add when I did speak with someone the first two tries they were very rude and short. I will never use JCPennys again.

If I could give them negative stars I definitely would! This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced from this store. So let’s start at the beginning..I ordered a pair of shorts for same day pick up at the store (hours ahead of time before they would be considered from next day pick up). I kept checking my order status and it kept saying “processing”. So I finally just go up to the store to get the item. When serving at the store I immediately pick up my item off the rack and go to the check-out line. I explain to the sales lady my problem and she responds. I don’t know anything about that you need to go to customer service, she offered me no help or anything. So I went to customer service and explained the problem. They offered no assistance what so ever! I ask why my item was ready when it said it would be, they say the person working that night is LAZY AND DIDNT GET TO IT! What?! So after doing all of that I go to the front and purchase the path myself after they were already bought online.After calling the one 800 number they explain to me in the morning when my parents say that they are ready for pick up I could just call and cancel the order. I wake up the next morning they say they’re ready for pick up and then I called the store. The lady that answered the phone then tells me she can’t hear me she can’t hear me when after I called the one 800 number they were able to hear me fine she proceeds to hang up in my face. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I will never ever ever shop at JCPenney again.

Good buys but the selection of items has significantly changed in the last 3 to 5 years. Less hip, trendy and fashionable. I was completely surprised that there was barely anything in style. It was as if someones grandmother who has never heard of social media has suddenly become the buyer for the store and is in charge of product placement. Just a big NO! Nothing was in the latest styles, even the Juniors department was outdated and overly conservative. Sales were excellent as always and so were coupons. Customer service was on point, but my goodness, this was decidedly the store for senior citizens and for that reason I expect thirty demise within the next 4 to 5 years. I loved this store and so did my daughter for convenience and staying with the trends but tastefully so, but no more. This looks like The Golden Girls would shop here and only if they had no sense of style whatsoever. Fix this!!! What customer base are you even trying to appeal to? People dont stay the same age forever. I was appalled. Usually I have a $250 haul but this trip was more like a $50 shop and that was pretty forced.

JCPenney has more sales than Goodwill! Using their online app I once got a $3,000 bed for less than $900! I finally recently got my Blue Diamond cookware set because of their sales... I shop here all the time now and they give you rewards for just about nothing. $10 every time!

I went to pick up my online order. The customer service was great. I then picked up a few more items the young who checked me out with my pick up order gave me advice on clothes for my 11 yr old and I went to check. The young man Jesus was kind and also offered for me to apply for a JCPenny card, which I hesitated about but, winded up getting. Overall service great. The shorts the young said to keep are the ones my son loves and wants me to order more.

Waited 20 minutes for someone to help us in the Lingerie (Bras) section. The nice girl at the Jewelry Counter had to call for Help in Lingerie twice. Then, we find out they do not carry Maternity Bras in the store; only On-Line! How are you suppose to know if the bra fits if its only On-Line??? My entire experience today was very disappointing!!!

Only Rings............I waited a total of :24.I would much rather sm1 answer and apologize for not being able to search for the product at the time then offer to call me back.ZERO Customer Service!!Do not call !!

Great deals. I got a great suit in the big and tall area for under $200. The only one working there who offered assistance was the cashier. The people in the department seemed to avoid eye contact, as to avoid aswering questions.

I came here only because I didn’t find a Macy’s in the Olive branch Or Southaven area. They had some cool household items and other stuff. I ended up buying some towels on sale and have them away as gifts. I didn’t know JCPenny was still around, but I may go back if I ever need to purchase a quick gift.

Not impressed at all. Hard to navigate in here and walked out empty handed. Not sure what has happened to JCP. Maybe they just haven’t kept up and modernized or maybe my tastes have changed.
