First time shopping here. Very classic bodega with a superior variety of Caribbean and Hispanic foods. Bigger than your usual bodega, theres various cuts of meat; various types of fruit, vegetables, breads, and goodies. The price is comprible to your traditional and modern supermarket, but there are things here you just wont find at some stores (i.e. Mexican candies). The parking situation can be tricky if you park in the back of the store and you would have to pay to park out front by feeding the meters.

Love this mini market. Plenty of Brazilian products that I love. No need to travel to Newark anymore when I can get everything I need near by and for a great price.

Google Maps has this place listed as a Bravo Supermarket (which is what I was originally looking for) but I guess Tropical bought out the location? Either which way the experience was the same. The location was fully stocked, neat, clean and organized!

This supermarket has very good quality in their products and very lowest prices, also if you are Dominican you will be happy because you will find all Dominican food. I love it

Theres a meat market in the back. I was so shocked and happy. And the price was excellent, not cheap but also wont break you. I highly recommend. And they have produce.

This supermarket has the best butcher shop and the best prices.

I love this place because it is one of the only spanish small supermarkets in the area. They carry almost everything you need for traditional spanish food and some extra. The food is normally fresh, they carry a ton of produce which is always fresh. I wish they would start meat plans again because there are no meat markets in the area but overall the store is nice and well taken care of.

Be AWARE this place has cans that are expired. 2017 in unacceptable. I will be contacting FDA and BBB to inform the type of service they provide to the community. I called to speak with management and not one person would inform a solution. I even asked asked if there was an issue who do they call? They had no answer asked for phone number of upper management and not one person had an answer. Please be aware. I will not let this go down in my community. This wont be the last time they hear from me. This is just the beginning.

Found everything I needed

Their produce is usually very good and the prices decent. Most everything else is sky high, especially the usual American items unless they have a sale. They carry mainly Spanish types of food products. Everyone is very nice tho and accommodating. I asked if they could deliver to my house, its only 1.5 blocks away, and the young lady walked it over for me knowing I had been injured and couldnt walk. I was Impressed it was very kind of her.

I was able to find some of the groceries I needed. But I guess do to the emergency that is going on they didnt have all of the merchandise that they usually have.

Such a perfect Spanish supermarket to get all your hard to find Spanish groceries you cant get at ShopRite or Walmart. Their prices are really great and their produce is fresh. Even the meat is surprisingly fresh considering how small the supermarket is. I have been going here for years now and never had nothing but friendly staff help me which is important even in a supermarket!

Very loud music in the store and narrow passages, but only this store has WIC assortment in South River. Also they sell milk close to expire date. But staff are great!

When buying, be sure to check the expiration date of products always have expired products on the shelves.

The prices are from regular to expensive, the products are soon to expire, the aisles are very narrow, in the deli they close long before the rest of the supermarket; but it is the only place where I get Hispanic products and the staff is friendly with the exception of 1 or 2 people who do not know how to treat the client.
