Store is clean and they have a good selection of groceries. Especially the hot food. Definitely recommend this store.

The supermarket is always well stocked and clean. I always enjoy stopping by, within minutes Im out the store. Very friendly staff and cashiers, absolutely love visiting Nortgate/Gonzalez Market locations. ❤❤❤

Last minute I had to get 2 big containers of jicama and 2 big containers of cucumbers. The ladies at the counter were beyond sweet and helpful. Normally it takes a few hours to get orders ready but I was helped immediately. These ladies were magnificent.

I dont go to Northgate... I go to the meat bowl in the same shopping center. I recommend it. Everything is stir fried, I get the Shrimp fried rice and broccoli and beef.

My First time shopping here today and I must say I was impressed with the cleanliness as well as the very helpful clerks who were spot on . The staff were attentive to making sure the check out areas were wiped down as the whole pandemic protocol was followed. 👍🏿

For being Saturday the check out easy and fast. Very clean. I find Bell Northgate more crowded in meat and check out line.

They have almost everything you need, plus it’s fresh .. bought some chicken and cornishen/Gordonizes which I paid $60 for 12 pieces already prepared. So yes you will find bit high prices on this market. They are very clean and organized.

The owner or the main Manager I think his name is Danny (thats what the cashier said his name was) anyways, Danny was awesome and on point! As soon as i walked up to get a cart he came practically running to make sure the carts were sanitized for us customers, that to me speaks highly of him! Then after I was almost about to check out he saw I was looking for something, then offered to get it for me since it was my turn to check out! When I wasnt content with the brand of the chamoy I was looking for he proceeded to look for another brand!! He was truly amazing! Thank you!

I love to buy the chicharones here. They are always great. I buy the ones with carnita for tacos, and the thin ones to make chicharon en chile verde.

Went in for some quick things for a birthday. Its a good one stop shop. I placed the cake order for decoration, then went just a few steps to the hot food section and picked up their rotisserie chicken combo, platano frito and agua fresca. If you have never been here I highly recommend you go and try their yellow corn 🌽 tortillas made fresh daily. Super good with crema centro americana and green salsa 😋

Love this market, they have an extensive variety of food selections! Plenty of fruit and veggie variety! They are doing a very good job of following Covid protocol for their customers, including customer checkout lines, bread ordering, etc.

I try to avoid this place. It is as expensive as whole foods and the produce quality is pretty bad. I come to this place once in a while because is near my house, but other than that I wouldnt go at all. The customers are highly uneducated, they always try to cut in line and they are breathing on my ear when I am grabbing merchandise or when I am trying to pay..They also like to push my merchandise to the side while I am waiting to pay so they can put their groceries on top of the counter when theres no room for it. These uncomfortable situations happen every single time.It is a nightmare to come to this place. I wouldnt recommend it at all.

Busy store. The bakery is amazing. Fresh bread all day. I get all My cakes there. Yes there are lines in the afternoon.

They do disinfect the shopping carts which you will find at their entrance. All you have to do is grab your cart and start shopping no need to disinfect the cart yourself like other stores i have gone to.

I usually go to the one in South Gate and sometimes the one in LA Central abd Slauson. I like bith but my favorite is the one in South Gate. Great customer service and fresh meat and vegetables, fruits etc. I have no complain.

This is an excellent Supermarket to obtain groceries, fruits and vegetables, and hot food to go!

This Northgate is really cool I like it because the people that work there are pretty nice and seems right now we cant really go to any cashier that we want to because of the pandemic they make us make a line but it was actually pretty quick the food is always fresh the veggies and everything else they usually have a lot of product coming in every day the bread is fresh and the best part of it all is that I kind of live across the street from it so I could just walk 2 it whenever I want but overall theres always parking and when youre making line inside of the Northgate Market to get meat it also moves pretty quick so yes this one over here in South Gate I definitely recommend it

The deli department is bad never again would buy from there.i bough shrimp ceviche and it was not freshId rather shop a Northgate in Long Beach & Cherry

I like this location everything is organized. I like how theres a person helping out at the bread area that way no one touches te bread. I hope it stays like that for ever. Lines are short as well I get out real fast unlike before lines were long.

Long lines good customer service

Its OK but it looks like there going down in the quality of food especially the veggies but other than that for being a local market it will do the job

I like to visit this store to buy certain foods. However, I’m worried at this time because employees are not practicing social distancing especially during the rush hours. The employee that was in charge of moving people to the corresponding lines, was crowding the cashier to move the line quickly. This made me feel very unsafe since people around me couldn’t keep 6ft apart. The employee even moved my cart to the cashier when I was not ready and placed my items on the band as if rushing me. I was so uncomfortable with this.

You need to undestand everything cost one dollar more but. That quality is good

The store is pretty clean. The only thing I dont like at the moment is that some employees are not understanding the social distancing specially during rush hours. Yes they have the Marks to where people should stand. They crow the cashiers at time to move the lines quicker and thats the only thing I dislike. Some people dont cover there mouth while coughing, even while wearing mask.

Love this place.

Have loads of stuff. There wasnt a lot of people there and at this time staff workers are there to give you the sweet bread and other freshly made products in order to prevent the spread of the virus. Stay safe out here.

My cashier Alice gets 5 stars, she was kind, friendly and efficient. The store is always clean an organized, the prices are comparable with other markets. Their prepared food is expensive at 7.99 per pound, but there are plenty of options for those who cant cook and have a taste for comfort food

I love Northgate its my favorite market for meats and fresh fruit. The quality of the products are top tier there is no competition, other supermarkets sell cheap meats that smell awful and go bad within a day. The bakery has great fresh bread, the hot foods department sells authentic Mexican delicatessens and the aguas frescas are just amazing.
