I ordered a Used Stand Up Paddle board and received it today. The Sandy Point team shipped it quickly and packaged it better than any board I have ever seen shipped. It was exactly as described and I would recommend them in the future!

I had ordered 2 Wilderness systems tarpon 120s from a competitor back on March 15th and just got tired of the excuses and cancelled my order. I ordered them that Sam day from Sandy Point and they were delivered within a week. They were packaged very well in plastic then cardboard and another layer of heavy plastic. Im very happy with my purchaseThanks so much

Terrible way to run a business. Terrible owners. They think that they can bully other businesses out of locations. Think they can lie and say that they have complaints from vendors and complaints from police to bully someone. Learn to run a business better, or you wont last long in this county.

Buyer beware! This place is NOT where you want to Shop! Terrible shipping options, no responsibility for damaged products. Didn’t even get the correct product. Management is carless and offered NO, Zero solutions to fix my damaged order. Purchased a $950 item which looked undamaged on the outside of package but was damaged on the inside and is unusable! Progressive Sports likely shipped a broken product and then denied any responsibility by seller. TRASH Company that doesn’t stand by their products!

I found a discontinued Thule roof rack fit kit for my car on Sandy Points website. Its literally the only one I could find listed for sale anywhere in the United States. I put the order in, expecting it to be cancelled. It showed up lightning fast and is exactly what I needed! Im super happy, these guys are the best and I highly recommend them!

We purchased two Hobie kayaks recently. Some of the parts didn’t come in but Curtis was awesome at getting them mailed directly to us since we live 3 hours away. We love our kayaks and would recommend anyone in the market to buy from these guys.

We purchased 2 inflatable Hobie Kayaks from here and only used a handful of times.We were filling up with air and the seam broke on 1.We were very bummed and took to a repair specialist 1.5 hours away and they said it wasnt user error they should not separate like that and to call Hobie.Well long story short Curtis the owner of Sandy Point Progressive Sports didnt seem to care and went thru the proper motions with the answer being it was out of warranty and thats normal when you live in Florida??So dont spend 5 thousand dollars on Hobie Kayaks because they arentsupposed to last more than 2 years??FYI the Hobie kayaks seams separated before warrantyexpired we just didnt get it to them before 2 years.

I came in a couple days ago to buy some Vibram shoes. I called ahead to make sure they had them as the Vibram website showed Sandy Point as the only local business that sold them. I was very pleased with the selection they had and left a very happy customer. They have some other awesome stuff I would love to check out another day 😊

I had a great experience today at lunch he store. Ben helped me to pull old stripped FCS srcews off my board while Stephen, the sales guy gave me a great introduction to SUPs, fishes and longboards... Their selection is amazing. I’m definitely coming back.

The shop stands behind its products.I bought an Epic Gear store brand SUP leash from Sandy Point and it failed at one of the swivels after about 20 sessions. I took it into the shop and showed it to them and not only did they comp me a new leash but the manager (owner?) went in the back and found an older style leash that looks a lot more robust. I get the sense that design changes are in the works...

If its beach related you cant beat it. Kayaks, SUPs, windsurfers, kite boards, small sailboats, catamarans, as well as skate boards. Beach/surfing clothing- nice staff that know their stuff...

Everything is wildly expensive, certain clothing items i price matched at other stores and they are overcharging, also NO ONE wears a mask even with the mask mamdate in our county, go support a smaller surf shop not these greedy unintelligent dopes. Im going to report them for the lack of masks as well...

Buyer BEWARE! We thought we were getting a great deal on an inflatable SUP. It was our first purchase of a recreational water toy, and we were psyched! We told Kory it was our first one, and he helped us choose the inflatable. After a year and 2 months, 6 uses, and 2 repairs, its just blown another hole. Were done. When I called to find out what could be done, I was told how delicate inflatables are, you have to be careful about what temperature they are stored at, etc.. I understand that we are 2 months outside manufacturers warranty, but IMO a business should be up front about its products and support afterwards. As we stated we were new to these, a bit of education could have helped us choose a better product. This has been a waste of time and money, and Im very disappointed to be blown off about it. I feel we were taken advantage of as newbies. Lesson learned.Edit:to be fair, I was offered continued repairs, but after twice trying to inflate and twice getting blowouts after the original repair, this is an unreliable piece of equipment and useless. I never asked for a full refund, I asked what could be done. I would have taken a trade-in credit towards something we could actually use. Buying from an outfitter in the Keys this weekend, would rather have resolved this locally and kept the $$ here. Very disappointing.

Fantastic and well stocked two story kayak and paddle board shop offering sales and rentals. Pool available for testing. The only thing that would make this shop better would be if it was directly on the water (across a very busy US1 from the Intracoastal Waterway). I believe they HAVE secured access to a nearby launch though.

Mike and the crew at Sandy Point are awesome! My nephew is visiting from Savannah and brought his wakeboard gear down. I made the mistake of not checking his gear before we left the dock. Well to my suprise, he brought the tow rope, except the handle had been removed for pulling the tube the prior weekend. I spoke with Mike while on the water and was able to purchase a rope and handle over the phone, he then had it delivered to the dock where they provide kayak tours, thats customer service! Thank you for saving the day, Sandy Point crew!

Great staff who lives the life and knows their product. They have a vast amount of the best gear for anything you can do on the water, they also have all the parts for repairing your equipment. Shopped there for over a decade.

Excellent place. Their prices for kayak racks were within 10 dollars of Amazon. Sales person went above and beyond explaing different rack systems.Came outside and looked at my car. Discussed easiest way to do it. Didnt try to sell me most expensive system. Showed me his personal pick up and how he loads his. Store has everything you need. Check them out. Highly reccomend them. Will be doing future business with them.

I bought a Hobie cat here. Mike was great to work with, very professional and answered all my questions. The Hobie was clean, and strapped down properly when I arrived. When I went to register the trailer, I forgot the bill of sale at the dmv and he faxed it right over to them. Great service!

Went to the Daytona location 1/21/16. Spoke with Curtis about kayaks. Have been searching for about 4 months. He really was very patient with me as I had a ton of questions. I wanted to make sure I made the right decision..I left and came back later that afternoon and Curtis and another young man helped me and I bought a Tarpon 100. They rigged it out for me and I could not be more happy. It was a pleasure doing business with them and I would highly recommend.

In March 2018 I bought a package consisting of a Takoon Furia of 12M, bar, harness and board. I traveled exclusively to buy my kitesurfing gear. I contacted this store about 2 months earlier to make sure the kite I wanted was available. Well, I made the payment in cash in the store and, since I did not have time to test the equipment, I went back to Brazil and due to the lack of wind, I could only test the kite in July. To my surprise the kite did not stay inflated, withering in 1 hour or less. I thought it was the main valve but that happened at all times. I wrote 3 emails to Mike, who used to answer me by email during the purchase process and, guess what, no response. Since I did not want to spend more money to return or change the equipment, I decided to send it for a review. To my surprise the bladder already had a valve repair! They sold me a defective kite, like it was new! I just did not believe I was fooled by these guys. I have read all the reviews made by other consumers before deciding on this shop. If you are thinking of buying here, be sure to test your equipment before and preferably go with someone else to test. Since I am in another country, I will hardly make another trip just to exchange it. I got a huge financial loss due to these guys and they dont even have the dignity to answer to my emails.

Made a call today to get some information about rental equipment. Pretty rude overall, and I only had some general questions. Not sure theyre doing a great job to promote business or encourage people to get out and have fun. Kinda sad.

Our eco-tour was scheduled by phone with Chip for July 7. He claimed that it was made for June 29 or 30. It was not. He claims to have been at the meeting spot on June 29 or 30 but we didnt show. He did not attempt to call us or make any contact as to why we didnt show up. We did drive 45 minutes from Palm Coast to Port Orange on July 7 at 7:30 AM and waited for 45 minutes. He, however, did not show up. We called and he told us that we were wrong on the date.Very poor service, no follow through. What a disappointment. Make sure you have contact information and confirm meeting times the day prior to your scheduled activity.

Awesome surf shop. Best overall selection Ive seen yet. Wind surfing, sail surfing, kayaks, paddle boards, surfboards, boogie boards... you name it they got it.Service is top notch. They stayed open past closing time so I could pick up my paddleboard as I was running late coming down from Saint Augustine.After this experience, I plan on buying my next board from them, even though there are closer shops in Saint Augustine. Totally worth it.PS I picked up my first paddleboard last night and took it out surfing this morning. Wow that board is awesome.
