Horrible customer service. Was being rude on the phone and when I asked to speak to his boss he replied “I am the boss and you can go F yourself” 1 star is too high of a rating for this place wish I could leave a negative star review honestly.

Im pretty skeptical when it come to trusting someone. In todays times, it seems someone wants to beat you out of something and my thoughts were just the same when dealing with American Audio, but Don was really informative and knew his stuff. So I choose to take the chance. Chino did a good job on the install and it really sounds good. I had 4 Rockford fosgate speakers and a Rockford Fosgate amplifier installed and it sounds great. Don, the owner, was knowledgeable, courteous and very professional in all ways. I went on-line earlier today, found American Car Audios site, called and spoke with Don about my needs. I was so impressed with how I was treated on the phone, I drove the 40 miles north from my home and bought a wonderful Clarion car stereo...but not until Don had taken the time to show me 4 very good stereos and the pro-cons of each. I will definitely go back should the need arise and I would encourage anyone seeking quality car stereo equipment, stop in and speak with Don!

He threatened to shoot a customer for trying to return a part that didn’t work. This guy is the reason small business fails.

I was looking to get an in dash unit that was shipped from China installed into my 07 Honda. Most places denied me because the Chinese units arent very reliable and they dont want to deal with it. Don was absolutely awesome! He was very careful and made sure that I knew what the risks of the unit would be. He installed it at a great price and everything works perfectly! Hes a very friendly and sweet man & I absolutely recommend him.

I was able to get a high quality head unit installed same day. I got a good price and a professional installation from the owner after talking about options for costs. Very unique shop with lots of interesting equipment. Support your local businesses!

Worst. Experience. Ever. The new radio could be FREE with FREE installation and I still would NEVER go back. Never. Never Ever. This fellow is beyond rude. I left at one point in tears. He himself did the installation even though he led me to believe he had employees to do it. He lied. Probably because no one will work for him, he is that bad. If you read this and go to him, bless your heart. Also, be prepared to be let down. They need a negative star rating for this place.

Don and Bruce are amazing over there same great company for 32 years just different name I have been going there for all my car audio needs for 20 years from one of my first installs to today for 4 bass tubes they have everything you need from fuses,boxes,dynamat,to even car lighting and if you have a question or need help installing your system they can help or even do the install for you forget the more expensive shop down the road go here you will not be sorry!!!! Just the way this guy answered the phone I could tell he was a jerkoff. I tried to get quote for a quick labor job, he told me it would take 3 hours for $75/hour. I have done all this stuff myself before, what I asked him to do was a 45 minute job at the most. This guy is a scam artist, I hope most people don’t fall for his BS.

Got a quote for keyless entry install, told me to order extra module ($100.00) incase he needed it and if he didnt he would refund me my money. Picked up my truck, asked him if he used the module, he said no but he was keeping the extra money because the install took him longer than he quoted me!!WOW, what a way to do business, what would he had done if I wouldnt have paid him the extra money for that module!!🤬😡I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!

This place is horrible. The one and only worker is the most rude and dishonest person I have ever had do my car. It took him 7 hours to try and put in a double din radio. All he did was break my dash, ( dropped it in front of me as well ) and make the double din sound horrible. I paid $150 for him to break my car and mess up my radio. All around the worst place I have ever been. I just now had sound crafters check up what was wrong with my radio he put in. He used all the wrong parts, wrong wiring, harnesses. Everything. This guy is horrible.

Has some nice older stuff but no intention on selling anything. Both times I went in prepared to spend money and both times I decided to take my money elsewhere. A rude and condescending fellow. It doesnt take long to see why his shop is full of 20 year old stock.

$180 radio is very poor quality and rear speakers not hooked up! So sorry I went there. He only operates in cash or you pay 3% if you use debit or credit card. Get other quotes before you deal with him! Very rude and I would NEVER go back. Go somewhere else!

Just tried to call for a install quote, the guy seemed very bothered I even called. Very rude and nasty to me when I was only asking some questions. (I dont know alot about audio systems) He then hung up on me while I was in a middle of a sentence. Complete trash! Will not be going to them, thats for sure!

I worked for him for about 2 months he wanted me (on call) all the time then always had a reason of delaying my paychecks. So i quite worling for him and now he feels the need to act like a rude ass. I highly recommend installers to look past this shop when looking for a job

By far the rudest owner I have ever seen. Pushy salesmanship on over priced products he sells just to keep the lights on. Now on to the actual work. By far the slowest installation in the city. Be prepared to spend your entire day with no car for such simple needs
