The name “honest auto” is literally what the experience feels like. You walk in to a clean, friendly, cold temperature, waters in the fridge for you and overall professional business. They charge me honest and industry standard prices 10/10 times. They take care of minor things for me without cost from time to time. These guys are honest and when I drop my vehicle off here, I know I’m taken care of every single time. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and I can’t even recommend one guy to ask for because they’re all so damn nice! PS Thanks for taking good care of my Challenger!!! Look know further guys. This was my first time at Honest-1 Auto Care. I was very impressed. Their lobby was clean and spacious. They had snacks, a child play area and a business center with WiFi. They also have a courtesy vehicle that will take you home and pick you up if you dont want to wait. My service was performed in a quick manner and I was updated via text by the technical during the oil change. They also gave me a list of recommendations in list of priority with no pressure to do any of them. Definitely recommend.

Brought my car in for an oil change, tire rotation and transmission service. They told me it may take a few days to get my car back to me because of the transmission service, but that was a lie! They got it done in a few hours. So if you consider exceeding expectations a lie, maybe they’re not so honest! They also sent me a report (with photos) of every inch of my car they looked over for me and provided a list of recommend maintenance for things that I can expect to need in the future! It’s obvious they hold themselves to a very high standard and I would highly recommend to anyone!

From the second you walk in the door you get a sense of professionalism and integrity from these guys. Three gentlemen working the counter all very knowledgeable. Very clean and organized shop. Honest and upfront pricing. Really couldn’t ask for anything more from a auto shop. A+ all around

This company is absolutely AWESOME!!! We are from out of town and our van started making a whining sound. They told me to bring it in right away and while they checked it out they gave us a ride back to our hotel. They thoroughly checked our vehicle and found the problem!! Im a student here, so I dont necessarily have a place I go to for everything like I do back home. I was recommended this place by a friend, best recommendation Ive gotten. Brad kept me updated with everything that was going on with my car and always was honest with me. Normally places will try to upsell you on products, but they were straight to the point with what was needed to be fixed on my car. I was originally going to do the brakes my self but decided I wanted to give them the business. I found the place I will go to for everything for the rest of the time I will be down here.

I went in to get a quote to replace the calipers on my Mustang. They quoted $1000 for two. When I told the guy I found the parts for $75 a piece ($300 for all four) he proceeded to explain that they HAVE to get their markup.I went down the road to a REAL mechanic and got them ALL replaced for $500.I would avoid this place completely or at least always get a second opinion.They then proceeded to call me a month later asking if I still needed the work done. This business is a joke.Driver beware….

Chad and the entire staff did a fantastic job replacing my starter. They were able to analyze the problem and get it repaired right away. I would highly recommend this shop, and I do, to anyone looking for a top notch mechanic

I have been driving for 40 years now and I am very particular about how my car is maintained. These guys are the best shop that I have ever used and I have lived in 6 states. They are extremely professional and fully-discuss the details and costs up front. Mechanics are top-notch.

The dealership told me I needed to replace my entire engine (11K). I have a warranty, so I would only have to pay a portion, but it was still astronomical. I went to HONEST-1 & they told me what the problem was. They literally saved me 2k! After that was diagnosed, I had them to fix the brakes, align the wheels and change the oil. I ended up saving a day on my rental because they did it so quickly & all of those services for a very affordable rate. The communication via text and call as they performed the job was great.

Professional, courteous staff. Even though it was after hours it was comforting to be able to speak to someone regarding the issue with my car. After a Friday night tow, finding out the shop was open on Saturday and my car could probably be repaired before they closed was also a deciding factor in where I had my vehicle towed to. Recommendations from regular customers that had positive experiences with this establishment was also a deciding factor. Not your typical garage. I felt like I was walking into a new car showroom. They offered a courtesy shuttle service if I needed it to be able to get my car when it was done. I will use their services again when the need arises and I would recommend this garage to anyone needing mechanical Services.

I went here for the first time ever for an oil change. The man at the desk, Chad, was very professional and answered all my questions in depth. Jose the mechanic/technician noticed during the oil change that my air filter and cabin filter were disgusting. Chad relayed the message to me and not only did he tell me he also showed me the filters and explained the importance of those things being changed considering myself and my one year old would be breathing in nasty airflow. Over all it was the best experience Ive had with any mechanic or shop I have ever been too and the pricing was reasonable rather than outrageous. I highly recommend them and will be back for any future repairs I may need. Thank you so much!

It looks like they have a well oiled (pun intended) operation. Professional is the word that comes to mind. I sat in the waiting room and could not help but observe how they treated their customers, whether on the phone or in person. They seem like honest good people to me. By the way, the waiting area is really nice. Not the stereotypical greasy and dirty and tiny waiting room you would get at a lot of auto shops.

Nice folks, decent pricing, but will install substandard parts. Had complete brake job done there. Lasted just over 1 month. Took car back, they replaced all on one side, total failure again within 6 months.

They basically replaced a hard to reach fuse in a place no one knew about until they did all this diagnostic work. I felt so bad after learning they did all that work only to discover it was a blown fuse that was not in the owners manual but was connected to my stereo/ac. I could not believe it. They also discovered that my battery was shot and not my alternator like I initially thought. They were upfront and honest, very understanding and accommodating and I couldnt be happier. They were even incredibly patient with my impatient behind when I would check on my car consistently. Over all if I could rate them higher I would. I am so incredibly happy with their services and even happier to have my suv back.

I have had a mix f experiences here over the years. But for the most part they have been positive. Decent little shop if you really just do not have the time yourself for small auto maintainence jobs.

These guys are amazing.. I would give 10 stars if i could.. We purchased a 2007 mustang. Had a strange water leak from a part i had no clue what it was. These guys went above and beyond . found a diagram fix my car .. The price was on point the customer service amazing.. Our new mechanics forever. Parts also came with a warranty cover all over the USA.. yup top shelf auto repair shop.. Offer us a curtsying shuddle ride. And all.

Honest and the crew were great. We left more informed and they provided options for us and explained the rationale behind them all. The amount of time they took to explain everything was perfect - and they didnt try to push any extra service on us. they even offered to have us come back in (since we were only visiting for a short time) if anything went wrong in the short amount of time we were there. Overall 10/10 would recommend

On the first day it was mainly an inspection as to what exactly was wrong with my ac system. I thought it was only the high pressure line but it turned out that my compressor has also gone bad which meant a full replacement. The greatest thing happened though, they got the part in and replaced it the next day which was super convenient due to me having to do lots of driving in the near future. The staff was super friendly and even joked around at some point which is a plus in my book. High recommendation

The name is right, they dont propose to fix something that doesnt need to be fix, they are honest people,.And mainly reliable and that gave me a piece of mind.

Put my car on the lift and jammed front struts when bringing it back down. Claimed that doesnt happen, took it down the street to another shop and they instantly said thats what happened. Cant recommend.

Evap Core replacement. This is my 2016 Ram. My evap core was toast. The Crew here at H1 got me in and in less than 3 days got me back on the road. Thank you H1.

When I was in a time crunch they were able to get me in the same day and fix my A/C within a couple hours. While they have a shuttle to take customers home I found the lobby cool and comfy. Theyre located close to many restaurants so I was also able to take a short walk to get food. When my car was diagnosed someone walked me through where the problem was and how it could have occured. The prices for repair and replacement were fair and reasonable as well. In the end I was given information on the warranty they offered, which was an unexpected bonus! Overall great experience, I will return if my Corvette has any other issues.

Staff is very polite and helpful both in person and over the phone. My oil change was done within the hour. The waiting area is neat and clean, theres even a section for the kids to play in. They have snacks, water and coffee while you wait. And the bathroom is exceptionally clean!

I had my brakes replaced here after finding some issues with my car. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There was an issue ordering the parts required which required a little bit of a delay but the staff were very helpful in communicating each step of the process to me so I was never left out of the loop. Will definitely be returning to this location in the future.

I really love honest one auto care there are very patient with you very respectful people that work in this facilities.Being the kind of person that I am, I am very picky about who I let work on my vehicle and I trust them guys 100% .Brad is it awesome person to Have a conversation with they explain it to you and I also like they send you an email updates on things that might need work in the future. Bathroom is always clean. Coffee, water and snacks while you wait or they have a vehicle to offer you a ride home and will pick you up when your vehicle is ready .An also the have a service call Snap finance, that you can use so you don’t have to pay large sums of money at one time. Made a great decision on choosing Honest-1 to service an inoperable door on my van. They were knowledgeable on the issue I was dealing with when I called and told me if I brought my van in by 8:am the next morning they would get the replacement cable I ordered installed as quick as they could but made no promises beyond that. I can not say enough good things about Honest 1 Auto care. Our AC went out an hour after we crossed the Florida state line and we were facing a possible week with no AC! JW was able to get us in right away with no problems to get repairs done. Chad was extremely helpful to make sure our repairs were covered under our warranty with CarMax and made the whole process smooth and easy. We appreciated Mark shuttling us to get some lunch while we waited and take us around town. The repairs were done right on time and my kids enjoyed the complementary snacks and drinks while we waited! JW even called back the next day to make sure we were doing good and all repairs were satisfactory. I have never worked with such a reliable, honest and efficient repair shop before and I wish you all had a location in TN!!!! Thank you for being so wonderful and saving ourselves from the sweltering Florida heat!!! Highly, highly recommended this place a million times!!!!

I do NOT recommend. Like a lot of other chain car places they only care about making money, not helping a customer out. I called and made an appointment to get a quote to get my ac fixed and my oil changed. I told them what was wrong with my ac, because I’ve had it checked out and quoted elsewhere, and told them my previous quote. I just wanted to know how much it would be to have the parts I knew needed to be replaced replaced. One guy showed me a model of an ac and said it’s probably not all of the parts that need to be replaced bc it’s usually one or the other. So an hour after I had been waiting they come out to say ok the oil is changed, but we’ll get started on the ac now, then 20 more minutes come out to say oh we need to run a test to see what’s wrong exactly, that’ll be $139+ tax. So I did agree expecting it to be like the guy said, not both parts, meaning it would be significantly cheaper and the $139 would be worth the difference. Well then an hour later they come out to tell me it is exactly what I already knew and told them and quoted me $500 more than the quote I had already gotten. They charged me for a recharge of my ac when I told them one of the issues was that it was no longer holding a charge. Then they said oh maybe I can talk to my boss and If you choose to get it done by us we can bring the price down a little. I understand they’re only in it for the money but it’s nice to occasionally come across good people and this is not one of those instances nor is this the business you’ll find them at. Needless to say I will not be back, I will not recommend and hopefully this review can help someone else.

These guys saved my family vacation! I had just bought a used car and was in the Daytona area with my family when the AC compressor blew out with it 95 degrees outside. I took the car to Honest-1 Auto Care, where they were very professional and even called Carmax and had them cover the repair fully under warranty, so no cost to me. They had the compressor there within an hour at the end of the day and had it fixed fully early the next morning. I am grateful for the professionalism and customer service these guys provided. This was my first experience with them, and the last ship I went to told me my air conditioning would be $2000 to rebuild. These guys got me relaxing in ice cold AC, with an oil change, new transmission fluid, and a few other small tune ups for right around $400.Take it from me - you want honest, hard workers who won’t try to scam you ? The rare type of auto shop that gambles on doing the right thing and hoping customers take notice ? Well this is that shop.Next time you have car troubles, give it a shot. You’ll be glad you did.

Cant say enough good things about the honest, great service we recieved. Joe was so honest and knowledgeable. We had our transmission serviced in Pensacola so we would not have problems on our trip. Shortly after arriving in Daytona the transmission went out. We had the truck towed to Daytona Auto and Monday morning explained our situation to Joe that we thought a wrong part was put in in Pensacola. Joe fixed the transmission, returned incorrect parts to us to show the other place after we got back and even talked to them on the phone to explain things so we could be reimbursed for the work. Also, very reasonable price and fixed in only a few days!!!! Thank you so much!!

Everyone was very professional and extremely nice. The owner heard that I was going to rent a car, even though it was only supposed to be a one day job, and refused to let me do that. He gave me a car to borrow until mine was finished. Ive never had such great service at a reasonable price. They saved me probably $2000 or more. They also have a free shuttle service with the nicest driver to get you home safely. Hopefully I wont need them again but if I do I will definitely be taking my car back to Honest-1 Auto Care.

My daughter and I went there as an emergency, something was dragging under the car as we were out running errands. In dire need, traveling 12+ hours from home, I ran over a curb, damaged my SUV and needed an honest reliable mechanic. My Mellow Mushroom waitress said her grandma would go no where but Honest-1 Auto Care. She was sincere, so I went online to make an appointment. I requested the first available the next day. Assuming that was impossible, I was preparing to drive in the next morning when I saw an email from Honest-1 asking where I was. Checkin was simple, staff was polite and helpful. I sat down at their courtesy PC and waited expecting the worst. I was blown away by the speed, convenience and price. I’m with grandma: in Daytona Beach vicinity, alway and only choose Honest-1!!

I went to get my water pump replaced for my 2010 Chrysler 300 2.5l they say it would be 2500 for the water pump replacement after they diagnosed it I decided not to get it fixed with them and come to find out it was my thermostat housing I mean try at ur own risk they didn’t even try with my car at all but I do refer tech auto on segrave they will show you the what’s going on with your car and breaks down physically what the engines doing .

Brad was very professional. Appointment was at 8 am for oil change,Filter and all over check. Car was taken back at exactly 8:02 am. All service performed and I was out of there at 8:45am. Also given a discount for 1st time visit. Thank you Brad and technician for getting me in and out right on schedule and doing a thorough job. Definitely have found my go to Car care center. Honest 1 in S.Daytona.

We live in Orlando and I brought a used car in for an inspection before buying it in Daytona. Jeff was easy to work with and took the time to review the report with me. The following day JW called and left a message checking to see how things were and if we were satisfied. The whole process went smooth.

Thank you Brad. You said what you do and you did what you said. The plastic undercover on my car was falling off. I called Brad to ask him how much it would cost to reattach it. Brad asked me to come in to the shop because it would be difficult to say over the phone. At the shop, to my great surprise, the shop crew took my car in and reattached the engine undercover. Since it was a minor task, he opted for not charging me for it. All the while, he was courteous. To other businesses, use this as an example to grow your business because from now on, I will come back to this store for all my car needs after this nice gesture.

Saturday morning I had my trunk latch fixed. I figured it would take about 1 hour or so, but it was completed in 20 minutes! Very pleased. I have read reviews saying that they were pricey. My thought is can you really put a price on your safety?

I have a VW Atlas and brought it to Honest 1 Auto shop by recommendation from Carmax to get my oil changed. The first time, everything was great and we were in and out in 45 mins. The next time, I expected the wait to to be about the same but ended up waiting over an hour and a half with my kids and no word from them as to why or when it would be done. The guys working tried to make up for it by giving us a discount, but when I got home I realized that they didn’t even fill my windshield wiper fluid. That was small enough and with the discount last time, I thought we’d go back one more time for an oil change - scheduled for today at 8 am..... and my husband is still there with my car 2.5 hours later. Very unprofessional to make people wait that long for an OIL CHANGE. We will not be coming back here and I suggest that you don’t either unless you don’t mind waiting forever and not even getting a complete job.

I had the business rebuild my differential & about 1 week later I heard a noise called them they told me to bring it back someone name John test drove it & said the noise was coming from inside the brake drum not the differential & kinda push me out the door as if they got my $1300.00 dollars & not interested in solving the problem cause they had to remove the entire rear brake system to replace the axle shafts so that left a bad taste in my mouth now the contact person I been dealing with was Brad he was very professional thru out the repairs but I feel like they had no intrest in finding out the problem now that they got my $1300.00 so now Im gonna have to pay another shop to get to the bottom of the problem & Im sure its something created by honest 1 so needless to say they wont get anymore of my money Honest 1 looked at my review & Brad professional reached out to me fully willing to resolve my issue he was courtesy about the issue and we agreed on settleing the issue Im a satisfied customer & I can appreciate honest 1 willing to make things right I returned to honest 1 to make things right with issues I had & I must say Im impressed I waited on my truck this time & took a good look at the facility the place is well organized very clean especially the bathroom WOW Brad handled the situation very professionally he was kind polite & a good attitude I will highly recommend honest 1 to all the people I know & people I dont know keep up the good work & I will be using u guys in the future!

After recently moving from New York City, as we know it’s known for the potholes, construction on every other street. Being referred from a friend, and making our way to this place was the best choice. Professionalism was on the money and their recommendations were just to be expected. Jeff was friendly and elaborate with the findings of my vehicle, he explained everything throughly. Also, can’t forget Bryton, who was very detailed with his inspection report and nothing was left open ended.I appreciate the service that was presented to me and I will definitely make this place my “go to” place for all auto needs going forward. 10 out of 10 I recommend.

Customer service was welcoming, warm, and professional. I was concerned about my car having issues with possible mold or rust because of previous carfax, and had them fully inspect it and it turned out to be safe and reliable. George was very cordially considerate in helping me meet my needs and provided assuring information about my car, also checking in on me while waiting and hour until the inspection was done. Theres a cute young guy with long brown hair that inspected my car and carefully inspected my car, came back with positive results that my car is in great shape and only needed the minor oil leak to be sealed.Honestly I trust these guys services more than any other mechanic that I went through.Vibes dont lie. I can go on and on about how thankful i am i was referred to Honest-1 Auto Care. From the moment i called to ask about my problem, i felt comfortable. Brad was so awesome, polite, very knowledgeable and compassionate over the phone. When i took my car in, he was heaven sent. He took his time even offering to replace worn out clamps that he saw fit to be replaced. That says a lot about his character, being that it was near closing time Brad really blessed me today. I couldnt think him enough. Their name speaks for itself!
