The first time I used the Verizon store they rooked me into closeted charges I was not aware of. I had someone with me so they heard the same spill. When I called them the manager. Said it was not his problem. Well I needed a phone quickly as mine d8ed. When I got home i realized the 12 year old that sold me a phone picked out my case and my screen saver before I realized what was going on. He told me that none of my pictures or contacts could be retrieved because I did nit use iCloud. I admit I truly have no confidence in my abilities. He knew I-am elderly and he took advantage of it and before I knew it I was home with a phone I had no idea how to use. I will ever use the Verizon store in my town again and I will tell everyone I kn9w to do the same.

In the middle of a pandemic, good luck finding a Verizon store that’s open. This is a authorized Verizon dealer and they can assist with your account, get you a new phone, transfer information. We had a very pleasant experience with a lot of questions answered and thorough explanations. Isaac was our helper.

I am very upset. I just drove 30 mins from Monticello to make sure I was at the store by 6:30 so I could purchase some phones. I looked on the website at the hours for sunday and it says 7:00pm. I was here in time and they were closed anyway because the hours are wrong. They actually close at 5:00pm!!!! Very upset. You need to change your hours on website.

I have been a Verizon customer for twelve years now. In that time, I have had four dropped calls. Two times I was in a tunnel. One other I was around high voltage power lines. That leaves one glitch in twelve years. Ya Ill stay with Verizon for my needs.

The sales staff and sales manager were all able to assist me in finding the perfect phone and accessories for my needs as well as setting me up with a great unlimited plan! If I could give this whole experience a minus 10, I would. The salesperson was less than up front with me about the three devices I bought and what the program would now cost me. I have had Verizon for decades and always bought a replacement phone over the telephone, never the store. My program was supposed to be cheaper with the change...tech support tells me no, it has gone up 20% The tablet took 3 tech support people to get functioning after 45 minutes on hold and three subsequent disconnects once I got home. The phone took more patience and time to get to do text and a more quality tech person 5 days later. My online negative review generated an email from customer service and a call from a district manager who was only too ready to tell me to return the items to the store (100+ miles round trip) and pay the restocking fee if I wasnt happy. I countered with having salespeople competent enough to send the equipment home working in the first place and be honest about what the equipment can and cannot do. She actually said the store people were too busy with customers to do tech support. How about doing the set-up correctly so I dont have to call tech support? She actually said I had 14 days to return the items and then tried to compute that with the date purchased when I lost it and said that I could add the numbers. Complete waste of my time. I politely said I was done dealing with this mess and I was going to hang up. Goodbye. At least my phone now texts.

This is the worst Verizon I have ever dealt with. I purposely try to do my business out of town. I now have my family doing the same we make all the changes and phone purchases when we go to Louisville. Unfortunately Sunday it wasnt an option to go to 2hrs away. We simply needed to add a line to our existing plan which wasnt a real problem the problem came when they refused to transfer the contacts from the non Verizon phone to the phone we added. It was going to be an additional $19.99 because we hadnt purchased anything that day. Note the phone the contracts needed to be transferred to had been bought there and actually still has 7 payments that they will still receive. Now I completely understand charging for random people to have contacts from non Verizon phones to non Verizon but to refuse to help a LONG standing customer is horrible service. I understand it is most likely the policy but that is where local management is responsible they get to choose if they are going to be the store people drive hours to do business with or drive hours away from and judging by the 2.8 stars they are averaging they arent getting the hint that they are sub par. Our monthly bill is over $400 its not like it would kill them to help us out we are definitely contributing. The sad part is we have 3 phones that will be replaced as soon as the new IPhone is released but guess who wont get a dime of that, the Somerset Verizon.

They didnt even have a demo unit charged on a brand new phone I wanted to look at. They then told me it was the same as a smaller version they did have charged. I was looking at the Google Pixel 2 XL. This phone is made by a different MFG than the smaller version. I am a consumer and dont work in this industry. You would think they would know the product they sold better. The lady who tried to help me was nice but you could tell she didnt really know much about the phones. She was asking a guy (I assume a manager) he could not look up and act halfway interested for looking at his own phone. Not very professional.

All I can say is watch your back in this store! They talk in circles, leaving you confused and they make promises they dont follow through with. I had a device I was trading in to upgrade and they took the phone (1 yr old S7) and led me to believe that it was paid in full. Anyway, the sales woman used my phone as a down payment of $97.00. I still owed a little over $200.00 on the phone and was under the understanding that the balance would be taken care of and I would get a new device payment. Well that is not what she did. She kept the S7 phone and MOVED the device pmt plan to a different phone on my plan that was PAID OFF! So, she essentially stole my phone and left the payments on my account (so I was supposed to pay for a phone I did not have because she took it as a trade-in). Totally underhanded and unethical. I spoke to corporate Verizon and they called the store and got it all straightened out, but they said the store should have NEVER kept my phone as it still had a balance owed on it. Just a warning....watch these people closely!

I went to the store ( though I had to go online to get the old style flip-phone my husband wanted) to have them help me transfer his contacts etc. Brian helped me do it and was a really nice gentleman about it. He didnt make me feel stupid at all (though I am about this stuff lol). I would recommend this store to anybody. I have dealt with them for years and will continue to do so!

First...I have been a Verizon customer for 20+ years. I have used the somerset store all of these years. We recently purchased a new phone. Less than 24 hours later it would not power on. We took the phone back for a replacement and after several hours of waiting for a response we were told they couldnt help us. We were told to go to the Apple Store in Lexington. After a not so nice discussion about their 15 day return policy and their lack of customer service we were told we were not welcome back in the store. So.....We took our defective phone to Lexington, they apologized to us for the phone problem and we were handed a new phone. They told us the somerset store should have replaced the phone. Thats what we thought!!!Something that should have been so simple caused a huge inconvenience and unnecessary expense.

My aunt got a Pixel 2 XL from this store and paid for the glass screen protector, a $35 item. Not cheap at all for a screen protector but they had to order it since they didnt have it in stock and told her to come back later when it came in and theyd put it on. When she came back to have it put on, they put a glass screen protector for the Pixel 2 on it. Clearly not the right item, not the right size, and they put it on and handed it back to her without anybody saying anything. So either somebody had no idea that a screen protector sitting entirely within the screen and not the same shape as the phone at all wasnt right, or they did realize it was wrong and figured even though its their mistake that its her problem to deal with. I honestly cant believe somebody did this.

This place is ridiculous. Every time I go to pay my bill I have to wait ATLEAST 30 minutes before someone asks me if they can help me. They will just be sitting there talking not doing nothing and still make you wait! Even on sundays it will take you 30-45 minutes just to pay a bill! And every time I get a phone bill it seems they are charging me extra! My bill is never the same, it always goes up! My very first bill was $180 a month then my second bill was $250, etc. it never stops climbing. Now my bill is $466 and Ive been a customer for 3 years. You would think they would give loyal customers a discount for being with them and not switching to AT&T. But nope. So GOODBYE VERIZON! Its not been nice knowing you! (Btw the 3 years Ive had Verizon my phone hasnt been able to call out or text when extended or 1X but my mother who has the exact same phone and has Verizon can, so they still havent fixed it 3 years later!)

Very disappointed!! I was up for an upgrade went to an IPhone from a Samsung andhated it went back two days later to switch back to a Samsung under their two week piece of mind offer. At that time the Note 7 had been recalled and was about to be reissued so I ordered one to trade the IPhone for when they became available and was assured that since I placed my order within the two week period my piece of mind promise would carry over. Well we all know the Note 7 was cancelled, I found out from the news not the store so I went back to see what other Samsung I would rather have and at that time I was told that they were not going to honor their word and their two week piece of mind option. I contacted customer service several times and have been told by them that it was a store error and that I had did everything I was supposed to do and an exchange should happen BUT this store refuses to do so. This has been a fight I have been having for over a month now I have been ignored and given many many excuses but they are still refusing to step up and honor their word.
