From Start to finish Charles, from Miami Somers was on time and answered all(which was a lot) of my questions in detail. We had an old front door from 1962 that was difficult to replace because of the sizing and that my house was made of brick. Charles insured me that he could get the job done right and within a day. His crew arrived on time and got right to work. When the install was finished they cleaned up and went over everything with me. I cannot recommend Miami Somers enough.

We have had an amazing experience with MiamiSomers ... we have had a motorized storm shutter installed on our pool cabana to keep it air tight from water getting in ... we also purchased a screen door with a doggy door in it to allow our dogs the freedom of coming and going outside as they wish. The professionalism everyone showed from gathering our measurements, to ordering these products, to installing them to perfection has been incredible and made this investment a great experience! We are now order additional motorized storm shutters and wouldnt think about going anywhere else! These guys are fantastic!

This is a great company I have used them several times over the years. We have had 2 retractable awnings and 9 Bahama shutters installed. Charles and Co was one of the best contractors that i dealt with. very informative through the sales process and the installation of our awning was amazing. I see some negitive reviews for lead times during covid which is not fair. yes, my awning took a little longer then expected but was well worth the wait. what didnt take longer during covid? I would need to write a book! First, the fact that Miami Somers is a valued member of the Somers Point Business Association gave me the confidence to go with them. I walked into the store and Tony was extremely accommodating and showed me samples and discussed all options. He was professional and offered suggestions. This was the most smoothest process I have ever been through. The service was impeccable and well coordinated with the electrician. My awning was installed almost days after quote. Great company to work with ... great service

I ordered solor screens in the beginning of June with a $5,000.00 deposit. I was originally told that they would take 4-5 weeks to be manufactured and installed. Then 4-6 weeks. I was told twice, when I called to inquire, that they were in, only to be told that was a mistake and they werent in. They would be in on July 26th. Its now August 5th and no one has returned my calls. Absolutely awful customer service.

I would not recommend this business. Held $4700 for over 4 months with no activity. No effort was ever made to proceed with the job, just sat on the deposit. Had to request refund and back to square one. They were glad to let me go.

Where do I begin saying how bad customer service was how bad the salesman was how bad the owner was when I reached out six times after no response from the salesman the owner’s reply was I’m not going to do your job we have enough work and we do all of our work in June So we’re busy so we will take your money and just let you wonder when your start date will be there a very bad reputation and nobody wants to work for them is the problem do not give them any deposit do not sign up for any financing because they make money on that too and the owner is a recent owner he’s not the original owner he should not even be allowed to use the name
