This Wal-Mart location is always out of the items Im looking for. Also, they consistently stop carrying soy-free food items shortly after I discover them and start relying on them.

Found some items here I could not find at any other Walmart stores in the area. Lots of variety here. Store was clean and well lit.

Scenic location between the Rio Grande River area, East of I-25 & this Socorro NM Walmart, and the mountains West of town.

The cart entry way had a lot of trash in the carts and on the floor. We were at the sports counter and employees said hi and kept on walking very quickly. We picked up a few items paid and left. I rarely go in and it will be sometime before I try again.

Lines too long, poor job training their scanners, more associates are needed at self- service due to too few people knowing how to use them. The list could go on and on. I really do not care to completely embarrass the company. However, Walmart is a store I will avoid if all possible.

Pharmacy is always out of necessary meds and shelves are not stocked. This predates COVID-19.

The price on the shelf does not match the price at the register on many things. Takes more time to find assistance with mixing or locked up items than it should. Your lucky if the person you do find can help you, but mostly they are going to call for someone else to help you.

Its was first time I visit this Walmart. I found it as a medium size but pretty packed with all the possible things one could need. It was clean and the pharmacist was good too.

Known as the Smithsonian of the southwest, this small mineral museum has AMAZING specimens. A must- see.

Not the best Walmart thats for sure. Its good for Socorro for the most part. We still have to go to Abq to find things. Although sometimes our Walmart has things that the others dont.

Surprisingly, they have a good selection of groceries, even for some of us that have food allergies, all departments have pretty good items. The people are friendly, which thats what you expect from a store

I like this Walmart because the employee named Dave is always friendly greeting with a smile and helpful. This Walmart thru the years has been kind of slacking on inventory, but Im glad the store is in our town. Before they came to town we either got scalped on prices or had to drive 80 miles to Abq to shop.

The person greeting us at the front of the store was rude after I asked if I could enter through the exit. I know now its not aloud but it wasnt a pleasant experience.

As a person just passing through, I was a little disappointed in the fact that items I wanted were behind a locked cabinet with no one around to help. I can assume that the store needed to do this for local reasons.

I mean, it’s a Walmart. It’s functional and serves as the main hub for groceries and stuff here in Socorro. Nothing too special about it.

The bathroom had paper torn and thrown on the floor everywhere. I had to notify the cashier.

Takes forever to get groceries you order. Mine took a week. And another thing I didnt like I thought senior day was for seniors. I went on senior day. Which I am a senior. Because I saw it one your website. If I would of known that, that wasnt true I would of never gone. Five teenagers in front of me. And seniors on walkers that were behind me that had to wait in the frigid cold waited longer outs. You need to take that out of your website because your senior day is NOT A SENIOR DAY!

This store is not managed well. Been to many Walmarts but this one has problems. The people are not as friendly as other stores. I feel that because they are the only big store in town that service is not as important as in larger cities. Staff standing around talking while shelfs are not stocked. Liquor takes for ever and dog food shelf is best but on top out of reach is plenty. Tried to find someone to help, but gave up and self checked out.

The two woman out front were unprofessional. The store was clean though and it had what I needed.

Fast and easy which we all know is my favorite. Convenience on the busy days to say the least

This place has all you need to do what ever your heart desires. Cooking tonight? They got you. Need new electronics? No problem. Nice friendly customer service too.

This Walmart is getting to where there is hardly anything on the shelf. I have to travel 30 to 45 miles to get a majority of things that they use to have, that Ive bought for the last 13 to 16 years there. Does Walmart home office just not want to keep the business or are they trying to close it. Most of the employees are very nice, helpful & welcoming.

A crazy place to be at right now.

The southwest corner of their lot is a nice quiet place to overnight. Closes at 10pm so no noise. Be sure to go in and request permission to stay. No lawn chairs.

Had to buy a new battery. Return the old one.

This is the what, third largest ECONOMY!!! in the world, who, btw cant even pay their employees enough to not be dependent upon welfare, let alone pay them enough to man a register, stock basic necessities, or anything useful, HOWEVER, they sure know how to follow you around the store and make you feel uncomfortable. NEWS FLASH, HAPPY CUSTOMERS DONT STEAL, so I guess we see why Walmarts only working employees are loss prevention...

The associate was a little rude when I asked where is the starter lighter fluid. I guess I wasnt specific enough. The other associate was just a bit off or just didnt want to help me. HONESTLY what I felt was she was judging me by the way she looked at me and my boys. And when I asked her if they have sizes 2 or 3 in boy shoes, cuz I was purchasing 2 pairs of shoes each for my boys and we were in the size 11,12& 13 sizes she quickly said No. I just looked at her and said Oh really ughh okay... I knew there was more on the other aisle so I told her well thanks for your help anyways. So then we started looking at slippers for my boys and she comes back and says maybe check the next aisle I told her kindly thanks thats what we were going to do and have a good day... Lol Walmart was a little wierd for me today. Maybe its the pandemic has us all a little wierd. But Im thankful and grateful we have this Walmart and May God bless and keep all the employees safe and healthy Amen

Only gave it a 4 cuz its under construction. 1 bathroom out of order, the other was being cleaned. Was looking for an item asked 4 employees they were all wrong, at least I got my steps in!! Store was very clean, and I like the space in-between isles.

It usually has what you need but never where you found it last. Products seem to shift places weekly if not every other day. Produce is hit or miss, staff is mostly friendly but not very knowldegable about whats in stock or where its located at. Its Wal-Mart, it is what it is and its usually ok.

Was pleasantly surprised to find a good selection of gluten free breads and pastas. Was the last thing I expected at a small town Walmart. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff here are absolutely the kindest Ive ever seen in a Walmart. One guy who works at the pharmacy, i think his name started with j, was incredibly kind and went out of his way to help me find my stuff as I am new to Socorro. Its as if he was trained at Chick Fil A. I dont know what they do to the employees here, but theyre doing it right.

Pharmacy people are rude. Went for a simple scrip. Kept telling me it wasnt there. Yes Dr. had called it in. Will never come here again. Thank goodness I live in Albuquerque where they are nice and try anf help.

Theyre good at enforcing local health laws. Small for a Supercenter. But, has a lot of stuff. Pushed out smaller chains which had better local selection.

In all honesty, if I could give it no stars, I would. This place is the most uncomfortable, unprofessional, place to shop in Socorro. Its nothing but pure racism from everyone there! It honestly feels like the darker skin complexion you are, the more of a threat you are. If I could take my business else where, I would. Most of the employees are lazy, unprofessional, and avoid trying to help the customers. The majority of them stand around and criticize you for your ethnicity, appearance, and gender. Yet, when we speak up or stand up for ourselves, were automatically retaliated against by management. Reporting employees to management is pointless, because nothing ever happens. Its favoritism at its finest!! Ive never felt more uncomfortable in a department store as I do with this one. 👎🏼👎🏼

Its a Walmart. What can you say? Pretty much the same as most Walmarts. What you see is what you get. If you shop there regularly, Ive noticed that a lot of the staff will start to remember you and say hi. Thats kinda nice. In all honesty, Ive shopped at this Walmart for a total of 5 years, and Ive never had a bad experience there. They even let me return something once that I didnt think they would. They have self-serve checkout, but theres always a person there to assist you if you need help (sometimes multiple people). Theres also regular checkout if youre not ready to hand your life over to the machines just yet.

A diner, slow paced that makes me sit and relax and enjoy their excellent cooking. They have every pie every day for dessert to save a place for dessert I plan to take it home with you! I love this place to eat. Ive taken my family when they come to visit and they love this place to eat.
