I’m an art and furniture dealer who has a lot of hobbies. I took a cast iron bed here with a broken rail—they were able to fix it (cast iron is notoriously difficult to work with). I took a mid century sun burst sculpture here that required a brass weld. They fixed that. Then I took this bicycle that had a cracked rear drop out. I was expecting heat damage to the chrome and potentially the paint as well, but look at that repair! That’s friggin’ beautiful! Someone there was skilled with a welder and a grinder. Kudos! The prices are incredibly fair as well. Old school mom and pop type place. 10/10
I wanted a custom part for my truck, and went to them with an idea and some reference pictures. They were able to work with me and designed and built a fantastic end product that was exactly what I wanted. Great craftsmanship on it and I feel confident the piece will outlast my car. Very skilled and friendly people working there. Pictured: Their finished product in bare steel and the piece finally powder coated and mounted on my truck.
I reached out to this company after I was given a recommendation from another welder. Initially, Patrick was responsive to my emails. He explained that he could not help with the design which I accepted. After all, it was a simple design. The approximate cost was discussed and we made an appointment to meet. My husband took time off from work, and we traveled 45 minutes to meet with Patrick. We met, talked briefly and he went inside the shop and disappeared. Supposedly, he had received a phone call. We waited for approximately 25 minutes and we never saw Patrick again. We still wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt so we left a draft of the design with measurements. This was a week ago. we never heard from him again. Sorry Patrick, for whatever it is worth, this was very unprofessional.AddendumI had originally gave this company a one star because of the aforementioned information. Shortly after I posted the above review i was contacted by Patrick. He was apologetic and needless to say he completed the job earlier than estimated and exactly the way I wanted it.I loved it!
Ive had great experiences with C & J. Ive taken a couple of vehicle parts to them for modification. The pricing is upfront and fair. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. The work has always been done quickly and exactly as requested. I could not ask for more. I will continue to use them for future work of this kind.
Needed repairs to an aluminum trailer! Wow! Amazing People and amazing workmanship! Could not be happier! Price was less than expected! If you need welding or fabrication, stop looking and pick up the phone! These are the people to call!
Very capable and professional. They know what they are doing.
I had a custom ramp built for my truck and C&J did an amazing job. I am VERY happy with the job. Most people, myself included, wouldnt think much about something as simple as a ramp. Pretty simple, right? Well, not really. All about the design. The finished product was perfect, weight, handles, locks, springs, up/down action, etc. Perfect! O yeah, the job was finished on time at the quoted price.
Did an awesome job. Definitely recommend
Custom hitch work. Estimate was $60-$80 and done in 3 days. Actual price, $60 and finished same day. Fast efficient service and work was first class. Thanks. That was the 3rd small job of 6 or so. All work performed quickly, fairly priced and high quality... of they were willing to do it, returns calls, etc.Low rating is for owner/manager... whatever his role. General lack of self control and prone to fits/tantrums. Think “no soup for you”.
These are the best people you will ever meet, they know there job. They are the best.
I had a fantastic experience with C & J; they were able to do exactly what I wanted. I recently moved into the area, and during the move, a leg of a 100-year-old cast iron fireplace surround broke off. I was pretty devastated. I called a couple other places asking whether they could fix it, but I was faced with skepticism. As soon as I called C & J, the very helpful lady (I cant remember her name, unfortunately) at the front assured me they could do it and even checked with one of the welders to make sure she was giving me accurate information. I brought the surround to them the same day. They were able to weld the antique, very brittle cast iron back together. I got it back home, and after priming and refinishing, it looks as good as new. They did everything I asked of them and more. I highly recommend their services.
Great people and craftsmen! I needed a small modification to a hitch, I was afraid the job would be too small. Not the case here, the job was completed quickly and with a smile.
I had a problem with a security lighting system and they helped me no questions asked I offered to pay them back in a professional review and they said we do not want any fake reviews only honest reviews even though I only do honest reviews but from a professional stance 100% honesty kindness and service people are friendly a good American company
I had an AC motor mounting plate that had cracked and pieces had fallen out of it. I took it to C&J Welding to get a new one made. They suggested that they may be able to repair the plate. They had it only a few hours and had it back to me the same day and it worked out great. Service was fast and they saved me money in the long run.
I needed an aluminum gate frame and steel gate operator bracket fabricated, C&J provided a cheaper quote than the other fabricators in the area and finished the job within a week. The frame and bracket were exactly what i was looking for and I would highly recommend these guys for any welding/fabricating needs.
Always satisfied with there service.
Superb! Highly skilled, great prices Lori and Dan and Patrick are the best. Repaired pieces that we thought had to be discarded
Lori is awesome!
They were not able to fix my problem. Therefore they did not charge me their minimum fee even though they spent a long time trying to fix the problem.
Was very rude and came off as a rasist. I took my business elsewhere
