Very clean Acme, good location off 13, the staff was very professional and courteous, and the prices were decent and consistent with other Acme I have visited. Acme has always been my favorite supermarket and has been around for a long time. They have made the changes throughout the years to continue to be the best supermarket in the area.

I love the fresh Steaks in the meat section at this place! Super juicy and tender when I grill them up. Clean and easy to find the simple daily life things people need.

They have the best bakery of any grocery store I’ve ever been to! Totally saved me when I had to pick up a last minute cookie tray. It took me 5 mins to choose bc there were so many awesome options!

I give this place 4 out of 5 stars because it is expensive. For the same items I spent $250 for, I could spend at Wal-Mart and leave with that and much more. The Lancaster beef roasts are always tender enough to be eaten with a fork only! . I love the selections and the hot/cold selections at the deli counter are great

I ordered party trays and a cake 4 days before I needed it, the party trays werent done, the chicken was supposed to be grilled and it was fried, the cake was set to be done the day after I needed it, it wasnt ready either. My pickup time was 5 pm, I never walked out of there until 6:30 pm. Yes they competed me some of the trays but what they did fix it took them an hour and a half.

Its so easy to get in and out of here. They always have everything you need.

The store itself is awesome 5 stars. I rated it a 2 because I came in for emergency bathroom stop and the toilet paper was not worth making it in a factory. A store like acme can afford quality tp in their rest rooms. Especially with this Covid mess no one wants toilet paper to fall apart literally while in use then trying to open bathroom door with nasty hands. Glad you had soap and lots of it. May want to sanitize stall doors locks until that paper is stronger.

Nice.to see some gentlemen in seafood department that are helpful and go out of there wat to help customers. I had to leave so many times before because of the nasty attitude of people working back here

Very clean, well stocked store. Purchased at the Deli, quick service and meat cut as requested. Drive from Dover to Smyrna to buy the Liscios Italian Sub rolls and club rolls. Wished Safeway in Dover carried them.

I called the Bakery Department today to see if I could order a cake for my husbands VFW Post who will be marching in the Smyrna parade tomorrow. First I talked to a young man and he took all the information he needed. I asked if the cake could say Happy Fourth of . July. I then asked him what flavor of cake they had available? I kept holding until he came back to give me an answer but then the phone just started to ring again. I hung up thinking he had my phone number he would have the decency to call me back. Wishful thinking. I called Acme back and I pressed the number for meats and seafood department by accident. I asked this man if he could please transfer me to the bakery. Now, I would assume that would be part of their training and would have a sheet handy with all the numbers of Acmes Departments. He asked me to call back. I called back once again and this time I talked to a women. First the young man tells me I can get a pre-made cake and then she tells me they will have to make it. No problem. She asked me when I wanted to pick it up and I told her the time she said 12 noon was the earliest. I asked here if she would just wait so I could ask my husband who served his country for 20 years if the time would be OK and she hung up on me. I guess Delaware hates Veterans too. And these employees think they deserve $15.00 an hour for this kind of service.

They have the closet to N Y bagels really good for Delaware, a must Try.

Cashier are not trained on bagging. Put wet cold in with dry. Chemicals in with food. Can goods on top of soft food. Service desk personnel unfriendly to almost rude.

This is a decent store although a little more expensive than Food Lion in Smyrna, DE. Staff is great and store is well managed. Excellent for items on sale although the deli salads are sometimes old. Nice produce section and desserts.

I still go to this store for some of my groceries. I miss having Acme near me in Dover. I still dont understand why Dovers Acme was closed down.

I arrived to find out my cake was wrong. At first the bake said she didnt have time to make it. Then a young lady stepped in and said we are so sorry and we will make the right cake for you.thank you to the lady that stepped in. The baker on the other hand needs to learn customer service and learn not to throw the F Bomb around when the customer is standing there. Again thank you again for remaking our Anniversary cake

Acme has been my favorite store since I was quite young. Wherever I have lived, it seems to be my neighborhood store. On my most recent visit I found so many items on sale. The prices are reasonable, the produce is fresh, and the displays are inviting.

I always love coming to my local Acme, especially the flower shop and Bakery. They have always met my needs and exceeded them. I always order my favorite strawberry short cake in layers with just lettering and today, Gina in the Bakery added some flowers💐 and made it extra special for my mom. Thank you! She always pays attention to detail.P.s. the only reason it is kind of smudged on the corners is because it was pouring rain and had to get to the car as fast as I could.

Yesterday we shopped at this Acme, and bought a lunch meat for my lunches, and when we got home I made my sandwich. I did not like it at all (it was not bad) today I took it back and my money was cheerfully refunded. I went over to the meat counter and bought other lunch meals. When I left the meat counter the same lady (Cindy) came up to me and asked if she could see my lunch meat, she promptly turned and said Ill be right back when she returned, she had written on the package labels, No Charge. I said you didnt have to do that. She saidIts Acmes Fresh food policy when I said that I needed to go out and get a cart, she said wait here, Ill get you one. I worked for a company for 30 years, where customer service was Paramount. THAT WAS CUSTOMER SERVICE.WAY TO GO CINDY! 5 🌟 SERVICE!!

We have been shopping here for several years now, and it has definitely gone downhill. The customer service has continued to be about average for a grocery store, but the food has continuously worsened almost on a weekly basis. I dont know if it is because of the location or that they have changed vendors, but every single time we have shopped there over the past year, the food has gone bad in less time each week. Im talking about spoiled milk, moldy bread, rotten fruit, expired meats, and even wasted vegetables. It doesnt matter what it is, it just goes bad almost within a day or two after bringing it home, and that is not good after spending $500 each trip. This has been an ongoing thing over the last year, and happens with quick trips as well as large stock-up trips. I would definitely recommend saving yourself some time, money, and frustration by going elsewhere for your groceries.

This Acme is one of the few remaining in the area. The one previously in Dover closed. This one is well stocked and the associates are very knowledgeable and helpful.

A bit expensive, but they have a good selection of fish and crab legs that other local supermarkets do not have.

I went through the self check out & thats exactly what happened THE girl stood OVER top of me the WHOLE time. It was ridiculous! You wouldve thought that I was the only customer that HAD! Once I completed my order then she went and spoke with another cashier. I dont know what her problem WAS I dont know her & I dont shop there regular!

I go there almost every week and they are very clean and nice, its also very easy to maneuver around aisles.

Very clean, didnt have everything I needed, usually shop at Foodlion due to prices being cheaper and selection,, but its 10 minutes away as were Acme is 4 minutes away and that night just didnt feel like driving, so stopped at Acme. Cashier was friendly and good customer service. Wish prices werent as high and carried more types of the frozen rolls. (Only had ONE brand of rolls) which werent the ones I needed, was looking for the frozen Pillsbury rolls, which were no where to be found.

I have always loved the Smyrna Acme, but today I found gluten free mission tortillas that Ive never seen before and lactaid sour cream! The fact that you carry items for those of us with food allergies is amazing! I was able to have chicken tortillas for dinner. something I havent had for a long time!

I have been using Acme less and less. Today took the cake. I hid to self check because there was no lines to take more than 10 items. They have cut their gluten free items and no longer had them grouped together.

This store has allot of items that you can get. Like one stop shopping. Also they have electric carts you can use if your having trouble walking. But the only thing is, they need to keep them charged up. And there are allot of out of order signs on allot of the carts. ??

I love the Acme I wish they wouldnt have close the one in Dover that was the greatest store all the people got to know you they knew you by name it was just like being in a little country store but it was a big Acme in the pharmacy was the greatest pharmacy around and a staff was the best I dont know why they shut that down. I really miss the pharmacy and the staff they had their it was like in your family. Theyll never be another Pharmacy and staff like that anywhere
