This is a really great mechanic shop. They will truthfully tell you what’s urgent, what’s optional and give you fair prices and quick turnarounds. We’ve been their customers for 5 years and they have been phenomenal.

Cobb Galleria is FANTASTIC! I broke down on i285 on my way down from Nashville. I was on the side on the interstate not knowing what to do. They got me the name of a wrecker service. Got me in and out quick. Great price and service. Turned what I thought was going to be a disaster of a day into a great experience.

Much appreciated.I went in because a mechanic at Auto Service Unlimited told me that the control arms and bushings on my car were completely dead and needed to be replaced immediately. (And told me that it was likely that my tires would fall off my car while I was on the highway.) This was suspicious to me because I wasnt having any issues with pulling or groggy driving. So I went and got a second opinion.The employees at Cobb Galleria were super efficient, it took them less than 15 min to give my car a full once over. They informed me that my control arms were FINE and my bushings were cracked and beat up but not enough to warrant essential replacement. They also informed me that my tires were getting a little low and I should probably replace them in the next few months. They didnt try to pressure me into a single service.Ive never experienced such a level of honesty at a mechanic, and I greatly appreciate it. Theyve definitely earned my loyalty.

I’m blown away by how honest and transparent they are! Took my car here after some other place tried to charge you 1200 for fixing an issue I knew my car didn’t have. As soon as I called them for a quote and told them my issue they said it didn’t sound like I had the major issue the other shop was saying. After examining my car they found out it was a very minor issue and I ended up paying less than 20 dollars to fix it. They were so honest and upfront, didn’t try to sell me services I didn’t need or anything like that. Needless to say they have all my business now!

Thought our family found our new Mechanic. NOT! At first the fees seemed reasonable with two repairs we now know were elevated and one repair done wrong. Last week we got a $2200 estimate for what another shop completed for $490. The employee Eddie, acted like we were best used car salesman friends and everything was needing attention. He wrote a quote that was double speak, with none of the work he quoted needed complete except i item. Dishonest and also included items unrelated to why we went in. Then to find out the unrelated items still have life in them. Do not use this shop as I asked the owners to call me, and nothing. Check prices and make sure they dont try charging you a 300% markup on parts, regardless if they are OEM, after market, etc. Very disapointed, and we have 2 kids with old vehicles!

It took me a long time to find an automotive repair place that I trusted. I was glad to find Cobb Galleria Automotive. They are friendly, professional and reasonably priced. They have changed my oil for years. Ive had my breaks done there and had a tune up. They NEVER TRY TO GET ME TO HAVE WORK DONE THAT I DONT NEED! That means the world to me. I love their service and will be back!

If you are tired of being upsold every fluid, pad, hose and filter under the sun from your local dealership every time you walk through the door you should see these guys. I keep my cars 10-15 years and plan to keep servicing them here! They don’t oversell and keep it simple.

I have been coming to this repair shop for a while for various services (oil changes, pre-purchase inspections, AC repair, etc) but when our Ford Fusion began randomly stalling while in drive, this shop decided to blindly recommend the most expensive repair right off the bat — fuel pump replacement. So I did a few minutes of googling and found that the issue is common for my car’s model and has a very simple fix. I told them to replace a fuel pressure sensor instead. Without question, they got to work. When I picked up the car, I asked if they replaced both sensors given the absurd amount they were charging. The guy at the front kept affirming that the car only had one fuel pressure sensor. Then, a technician comes out and confirms there are two. I asked them for the part number since they do not include this information on the invoice (on purpose) and called the dealership to check the price. It was $103 and these guys charged me $170 for it (see pictures).They also replaced the wrong part without even asking. The technician admitted multiple times that he did not do ANY research. He just blindly picked one of the fuel pressure sensors even while knowing there were two.Do not come here to get ripped off. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone.

Ive been using them for.. between 2 and 4 years. Not sure how long. The bottom line is that I trust these guys.

We made an appointment a week in advance do to the influx of buisness they have during this time. My boyfriend showed up for the appointment today to get the brake pads changed, a simple task, that they then proceeded to tell him he has to leave the car there until MINUMUM of Thursday. When we made the appointment we were told it would be serviced the day of the appointment in and out. This does not work for me as I work Wednesdays-Satyrday if I were aware of this i wold have made the appointment starting on Saturday so Id have my car in time for work tomorrow. They claimed it would take so long due to the amount of cars they already have meaning either they over booked themselves out of greed, are not working the pace they should be or they took walk ins over appointments which defeats the purpose of appointments, right? Anyways peoboys down the street took us in same day and already finished our service. I reccomend Pepboys over this place.

I love these guys. Ive never had a mechanic NOT try to sell me stuff my car doesnt need, and these guys never do; they 100% top my credibility list. They are fast, super courteous, and they have the lowest synthetic oil change prices in town. I will never go anywhere else!

I have been to Cobb Galleria Automotive twice now and both were great experiences. Recently, I took my car in because I thought I needed a part replaced - instead of just taking my word for it, the mechanic inspected the part and recommended that I wait to replace it because I could still get some good use out of it. I appreciated that honesty! Needless to say, once the part needs replaced, I will be taking it to Cobb Galleria Automotive and entrusting it into their hands!

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. A few times I thought I was going to pay more and they told me it ended up being less because I did not need everything I thought I did.A couple of times ago I was doing work on my laptop in the waiting area using my lap as a desk. They brought over a small portable desk for me to use. That tells me that they really do think and care about their customers. I can’t see what they are doing in their bays, but I can see what they are doing in the lobby and I like it.Fair prices, great service, and reliable... it is hard to find that in a mechanic. My car was fixed before the projected date. They were super quick and even kept me updated on where they were with the process. I heard great things, called, was told they could see me at 1pm. I cancelled my appointment elsewhere, showed up, waited over an hour and was then told I was going to be seen AFTER they finished everyone else, whenever that may be. I left, obviously. --- I then ended up on that side of town 30 minutes before their posted closing time and called again, hoping to be seen and was told they were closed already. Idk... great family, poor service. I wish them continued success, but they will never lie to me or waste my time again. --- No worries, my brakes were completed by a lovely family that understood customer service the following morning. 😊

I was told to come & get air & they’d let me know the outcome, & over the phone recommended Smyrna tire . When I got there,Shawn helped me & was the sweetest, nicest guy, & joking with me. I went in for a relatively quick job. The service was painless and fairly priced. I would go in again.

My wifes Jeep Grand Cherokee had been having intermittent trouble starting for monthes. We had it towed we took it to multiple shops in the area only to be told over and over again that nothing was wrong, while we asked them to check the starter. Meanwhile we are racking up fees getting towed multiple times. Finally, we try these guys... these guys diagnosed and fixes it in a bout a day, during Christmas week (when every one is busy). Shocker... it was the starter. Not only that but they called us about a week or two later to make sure that the problems were actually fixed.

This place is great, I just brought my car here for the second time. This time for brakes and once again I felt like I was getting a fair deal. They treat you well, and were able to fit me in within a day of calling the office. I’ve been searching for a while and now I think I found my new mechanic. Works out well too because it’s within walking distance of my Apartment.

I dont do reviews very often but I really felt the need to share my experience with Cobb Galleria Automotive. I brought my 2014 Cadillac ATS in to have a sensor switch replaced. I met Whalen who came out and spoke to me, he brought a Tech out with him to take a look at my car and gave me a price. When whalen quoted me the price, he didnt realize how many hours and how much true labor it really took to fix my vehicle, It was wayyy more expensive then what he quoted, but like a true professional he honored the price. Im in customer service myself and I appreciate the way it was handled. I actually work as a Salesman at a dealership not to far from there location, I plan on sending as many customers as I can to these guys. There good people and they do good work. Thanks Whalen.

Knowledgeable crew here and i have found them to be honest which is a big plus for an automotive shop. They are able to handle most of what you would need done to your car at mostly reasonable prices. Cost me about $40 to get the oil changed out in my 2017 Sante Fe, this is a bit pricey to me fir an oil change, but they have done good work for me in the past, they have never tried to get one over on me, and they come off as good people. For those reasons I will pay a little more for routine maintainence and take comfort in that work being guaranteed.

After fixing an issue unrelated to what I took it in for, they charged me $450.00 for a blower fan which I found at Advanced Auto for $56.00. They then tried to charge me $1000.00 for A/C compressor. I picked it up my car and took it to another shop and they charged me $500.00 to replace the compressor. I would not recommend this facility.

I recently moved here from out of state, and had some serious car troubles about 4 months after my move. I looked for a mechanic/garage close to where I lived and came across Cobb Galleria Automotive. After reading some great reviews, I figured it was worth checking out. They were extremely helpful and nice - one of the employees even drove me across the street to Enterprise so I could pick up a rental car while mine was being worked on. To my surprise, the were able to order the parts and get my car repaired the same day! I was very impressed with their fast service - and they gave me a good and fair deal! So glad I checked this place out - will certainly be using it as my main garage!

It really sucks to write this. But as a young adult Im tried of being taking advantage of with these car places. Im also a mechanic at a high capacity bike shop. So I understand how hard it is to get your repairs and on-the-spots done. This morning I woke up 7:30am on my only (off day) this week to get my truck JUST diagnosed. I also called in two days ago for an appointment. I check-in my car by 8am this morning and waited to get my car just diagnose and waited all day til closing and my car didnt move a spot. As I received my keys Ive got brain and emotion-less customer service from Shane or Shawn.

The service writer charged me a $100 diagnostic fee without discussing the charge with me beforehand. He did not give me the professional courtesy of discussing charges with me like an automotive shop should.

Probably the worst customer service! Called after a week of having minor things done including a new batter due to battery dying not even another could charge it which led me to be stranded. I received zero understanding of the situation and zero help solving the issue.

I trust the people who work here 100%. We have been a loyal customers since 2009 when we moved to the area. You can schedule your oil change in advance! They are super fast!!!

Theres a grinding noise of my brake. I thought brake pads need to be replaced, then I drove my car to this shop. About 1.5 hours later, Sam gave me a call, and told me the shape of pads is ok, just some rocks sticking on pads, I dont need waste money on replacing them. Then I picked my car, and didnt spent any fee! Thats a great experience.

I was getting a second opinion from this place. I got on here to read some reviews and it seemed ok. My wife took her car there and she told them what the problem was. Next morning she gets a call they tell her the problem is that she need to replace blower on ac and problem wold be fixed. They charge us $400 to replace blower which only costs between $60-$80.After they replace the blower they then proceeded to tell her that what the problem actually was which was the original problem she told them to begin with. Horrible service lied to her over charged her and then wanted to charge more for the actual problem.

CGA saved my pocket and week... I went there for a second opinion on my transfer case being replaced and Sam Steed got me the right diagnosis. The first shop I went to wanted to replace the transfer case that would have ran me over a thousand bucks. Thanks to the great techs at CGA, that wasnt the problem. I just needed a new U joint. Sam tried 2 that were pre manufactured for my vehicle and neither one worked to his standards, so he had one made the same day bringing what would have cost me a lot down to 150$.. It is perfectly balanced and now rides smooth as glass. Thank you for your honesty and dedication in getting my Infinite like new again.

Absolute wonderful service. I took in my 2004 Buick Century with a severe oil leak, and had to drop it off after hours. The team at Cobb Galleria Automotive called me the next day to inform me that the problem was actually very minor, and fixed the problem promptly. No upsells were attempted, just straight-forward wonderful customer service in fixing the problem.

This shop lost a lot of credibility with me. I had my Honda towed to this shop after speaking with a tech named Jeremy. Jeremy was a friendly guy and I had confidence they would figure out why my car was stalling out. The day after the car was dropped off I called in to check the status. Sam another tech told me they would not work on my car because the carburetor was bad. This threw up a red flag for me because the carburetor was just rebuild in 2010 by a great Honda tech. I asked Sam how did they figure it was the carburetor and his reply was they dont work on cars with carburetors. I had my car towed from their shop the next day. If Cobb Galleria does not have the experience to work on or troubleshoot older model vehicles they should invest in that area. Sam was not even able to refer me to shop that could help me locate the failure. It turns out the issue was actually the distributor and the ignition coil. Nothing at all to do with the carburetor. This in my opinion is poor service. The tech that actually troubleshoot the failure couldnt have been more than 30, 33 years of age at the most. Yet these guys a Cobb Galleria wouldnt even try? The Honda is running great now with no stalling out. Transmission King at 2492 M.L.K. Jr Dr NW, Atlanta, GA 30311 had my car for 2 days and found the issue causing my Honda to stall out. All they had to do was try. I would have had no issue paying Cobb Galleria Automotive to at least troubleshoot and pin point the failure. Instead they choose to blow me off and leave me stranded with one of my cars down. They get a poor review because1 They didnt do enough testing or troubleshooting.2 Their diagnostics was incorrect. (even the other shop said the failure was not carburetor related)3 They could not refer me to a shop with the experience to handle my vehicle.4 When I went to pick up my car getting my key was somewhat of a hassle. (The lady didnt understand why I was picking up a car without paying, Umm lady because you guys didnt do any work on my car)Hopefully this feedback does not go unnoticed. Another shop got the business that you guys could have earned. Thankfully my car is now running smooth and even better than before with no stalling at all. I just drove all around 285 last night with no shut off or stalling. Thanks to Transmission King.
