If your going to buy something in the store off the shelf they are good, but not when it comes to installing anything. We bought a front door and they ordered the wrong one and then when it finally came in they had to come out 2 times because it wasnt installed properly. To this day it still swings the opposite way we wanted it to. Had other bad experiences with installing other things so keep that in mind.

We live in Bay St. Louis and will make the drive over there when we need to make a high ticket item purchase. From the time you walk in the door you are greeted by an associate with a good morning. Didnt have to look for help they actually come up and ask if you need assistance. This Home Depot is our go to store. Its so nice to go some where that is organized.

I bought the wrong part, so I went to get a refund and buy the right part. The cashier at Returns was very courteous, and let me get the right part to ring it up at her register. The prices were the same, so she just exchanged parts and gave me my receipts. Wonderful!

The young black man in the garden dept saw my senior husband had a cane and we were looking for gravel...he immediately offered to give us help. He loaded up what we needed and asked if we needed help to load on to our vehicle.We were very impressed with him.

If you like doing things like spending a few thousand dollars on appliances and then having them bring you the wrong one and have no idea when theyll bring the right one then you should go here. If not, shop local and stay away because customer service no longer exists at Home Depot.

Bought s new front door. They let me store it there until i could find a truck to get it home in! I thought that was cool.

Initially I was just going to get prices on small project lumber and when I found a spot with markdowns, I was thrilled! I had a few pieces of different types of lumber that was damaged and included a 3ft. X2ft piece of damaged plywood. When I got home and checked my receipt I realized the cashier charged me for a entire sheet and I called them to learn they would fix it if I brought it back up there.

Pretty hard to steal a door from here. Not just any door but the double sliding door in the front by lumber.

Bonnie in the paint department needs a different job and a better attitude.

Was looking for a particular product, a store assistant, Nancy was very helpful. Through her knowledge and professionalism I was able to choose the right item to meet my needs.

Bad curbside pickup. Always an issue. Checked in and called and told them i was short on time and if it was ready i could pick it up now. The lady said it was go to contractor pickup. Well it wasnt ready. Wasted my time and had to come back because i was put in line behind all of the contractors. I could have just stayed at curbside and got my order. Called and checked back in. Said they would bring it out. 25 minutes later still waiting. Called back got put on hold. Would have been quicker just to go ahead and go inside and do it

I was in the store for about two hours shopping a gentleman named Daniel helped me in with a chain and then I think the guys name was Moody that help they were both so nice. Camille with my cashier quick efficient very friendly. The lady at the paint counter was so busy. Feast or famine but she was very polite was as fast as she could be with us 10 customers waiting.

One star only because 0 is not an option. The Slidell (I-10) Home Depot store does not enforce the mask mandate! I will definitely NOT be going into the store again, not even after covid is over. If they dont care about the safety of their customers (or their employees), then how can you expect good service in other areas? Closing my account immediately.

This location was very busy, but the employees were still friendly and incredibly helpful. I was greeted by a really nice cashier that offered me exemplary customer service.

Home Depot. What can you say. Its my go to for all things home. This store was clean, organized, employees literate and helpful. I recommend highly. Just wish it was closer to BSL.

I go to Walmart to pick up my medicine, than I shop for my home. They carry everything you need. The employee are nice and courteous. If you can not fine and item, they stop to help you to locate the Item you are looking for.

Ordered online, paid $80 for delivery, the delivery didnt show up for 2 weeks. Had to wait a week for them to cancel my order, then go to the store to get my money back.

Went in to by 25 gallons of paint and the associate didnt know how to mix paint.noone else available to do.i went to lowes.

Couldnt find anyone to help me. Finally did but not very helpful as person I needed was located at another store. Should say that on website.

Meme & Kathy were fantastic! Meme took her time explaining the various flooring options I can go with and which flooring was best for the renovations to my house. I am redoing my living room, kitchen & utility room and needed durable but I wanted a certain look. Kathy helped me with financing and now the Home Depot crew are going to install the floors for a great price! I’m so thrilled! Home Depot has a great staff!

I have purchased all of my appliances from Home Depot (HD) but this time the delivery service was horrible and I was extremely disappointed, not only could they not properly connect the dryer but also the deliveryman was “opinionated” about my purchase and the salespeople at HD. However, the person who called me to ask about the delivery was very nice, and she ordered the missing part for me then told me to contact the store when I received it so they could send someone out to connect the dryer to the water line, steam function. The appliance manager, Betty, at HD promised to send out a repairman when I received the part and refund me on the dryer vent that was not connected. The deliveryman took the vent with him after he connected the dryer’s old vent to the new dryer. In addition, yes, the deliveryman signed the paperwork by my notation that he did not connect the dryer due to a missing part and crossed out the vent all on the original copy, which shows on my carbon copy. I have called Betty back, as she requested, concerning the missing part when it came in and am still waiting for her to return my call. I am also still waiting on the refund for the dryer vent that Betty promised to refund on my credit card. Thankfully, I can dry my clothes, and thankfully, Lowes is right across the street from HD because HD just lost my business. Feb 1st update, still waiting Home Depot, not sure why you all wont return my calls???? I have never had a problem with you all before but this is really ridiculous!!!

Art in hardware helped me find a replacement ratchet under home depots lifetime warranty. I gotta say the process was effortless and the company honored their warranty I highly recommend any handtool from homedepot.

Want to give Mr. Art a shout out for being so helpful with my hot water heater hose. It busted while I was out of town and came home to a flooded garage. I came Into the store pretty upset and he was so incredibly patient with helping to find a plan B. He showed me how to safely cut a copper pipe, talked about the Shark Bite hose, and was so reassuring that it was a repair that I could handle. Thank you, Art!!

What i like about Home Depot is they have a few items Lowes doesnt have and vice versa, so if you are looking for something that may be very specific to your needs, chances are one or the other has it. Happy Shoppin

Absolutely horrible customer service. Potentially the worst Ive ever received. Purchased a car battery last year and it died. I brought it back for warranty and they had apparently stopped selling them altogether. They actually argued with me about whether or not they even used to sell batteries! Argued with hostility no less. They refused to honor the warranty and so I left and called corporate. Corporate claimed to not know they sold batteries either (I got every single recent employee?) the third employee I talked to finally remembered them selling batteries. But after giving my receipt # and an hour of discussion they finally agreed to refund me my money as they could not replace the battery since they no longer sold them. Well whatever if that was the best I could do. Corporate made a note on my account AND on the receipt, also called the store while I waited and gave the whole story to their customer service personnel. I couldnt make it back to the store until the next day and the corporate line and the employee at the store that corporate spoke to insisted this was no issue. When I went back to the store they could find no record of our conversation, nothing with the receipt, again argued me down (very, very rudely and with profanity this time I might add), and of course again refused any notion of a warranty replacement or refund. At this point I called corporate and couldnt find the person I talked to previously, and now they could find no record of our conversation either! At this point Im in disbelief over the utter lack of communication, notes, service, and even knowledge of the products they sell. Only one manager in the store even remembered them selling batteries at all! I ended up having to leave, again, empty handed. No replacement, no refund, hell not even an apology or acknowledgement! I went to Walmart and bought another battery, full price, but at least with the knowledge that if it failed within the warranty period I could obtain some sort of recompense this time. Absolutely bottom of any barrel level of customer service. Going forward, Id rather pay double at another store to avoid home Depot at all costs. I dont understand as Ive been a home Depot customer for years, and never had an issue. But since this was multiple visits, multiple days, involved more than 1 call to corporate, and STILL no hint of a remedy, apology, or acknowledgement I am forced to conclude this is no fluke but rather the inevitable consequence of massive corporate bureaucracy and extremely disassociated, disengaged, and uncaring employees. Good luck.

I would like to acknowledge Amanda Store Manager and Denise Customer Representative demonstrates excellent customer service skills they go beyond the call of duty. I had an unpleasant experience with employee in flooring I spoke Amanda address the matter and Denise assist me with looking for my tiles at several stores and online . Amanda and Denise is clearly and asset to Home Depot. :)
