We originally chose this company due to the good reviews on Google, they came out same day to check our unit. We also had an issue with our furnace that we needed to fix and were awaiting a quote. They never got back to us about the quote. I understand if they didn’t want to do the work but I initially waited over a week before I contacted another company awaiting the quote. I think if you need a simple job, they would be great but unfortunately they didn’t communicate great with us.

This entire process was painless and professional. I truly thank God that we wet with your company. The installers respected our home and kept things clean. Were cold and it feels good! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am incredibly satisfied and impressed with Albers A/C. Everyone I personally dealt with was professional, informative, hard working, and thorough. From the initial phone call to the estimate process all the way through installation and cleanup. I, unfortunately, had to have a complete, and I mean a COMPLETE A/C replacement, after my old A/C couldn’t keep my house under 80 degrees during the daytime. Anything and everything that had anything to do with my old system was replaced. After initially getting an estimate from another company for a lesser system and not even replacing my duct work, Albers replaced everything with a higher quality product for essentially the same price. Albers went above and beyond, offering to band-aid my old system to get me through the weekend with some cool air until they could do the replacement work. After seeing was was pulled out my attic, it’s amazing they could even do that. I would recommend Albers to anyone who has any air conditioning issues.

Great response after Hurricane IDA to verify our system was not damaged after initially not starting when the power transferred from the generator.

The guys worked continuously for 1 1/2 days removing 34 year old gas heater and a/c, ducting, wiring and copper tubing. Daikin Fit has been operating for 5 hrs. I can hear a mouse skitter it is so quiet. Even temperature around the house. Outside compressor is quieter than a window fan. I dont think Ill be disappointed with the investment in the system. Highly recommend Albers.

I called Albers AC after frustration from repeated callback and response failures from a different company that had been servicing my ac unit for years. Im glad that I did. They were very attentive from the start. They fairly quickly sent a tech out to assess all of ac and heating issues that I already knew I had on my 25 year old unit. He identified all of the failing parts and gave me cost repair estimates before he left. After consideration, I scheduled an appointment for a cost assessment on a new central air unit. Within a couple days, someone was there to give a free assessment and cost estimate for a new install. He left me with a thoroughly written breakdown of all of my choices with the cost and pros and cons of each. After a week of estimates from other companies, I decided to go with Albers. They offer a very good Daikin system at a very fair competitive rate. They were extremely helpful in assisting with the financing, and was there to put my new 17 Seer system in two days later. The guys were on time and very professional. My wife was home alone and did not feel as if any of the guys were inappropriate in any way. They gave her great training on how the new WiFi thermostat works. They worked neatly and quickly and was done before the kids even got out of school. No mess left behind at all. When I came home from work, I could not tell that anyone had even been there. The new system sounds, feels, and looks great. Its much quieter than the old one and the air feels great. Albers really did a great job for me. Will be recommending them to anyone who asks. They even refunded my initial service call fee, which was pretty nice.

I have been a customer for 18 years and highly recommend Albers. They have professional personnel that come to house and are completely knowledgeable about everything. In 2002, I had hot and cold spots in different rooms of my house that was built in 1990. Clay Albers suggested sizing properly the duct work and replacing registers through the house. They performed several AC balancing of each register. After the work was performed the house is comfortable in every room. Also the duct work in the attic was designed, installed and supported excellently. I have since used them to replace my 4 ton unit and to perform maintenance every 6 month. Again highly recommend!

It was a Saturday and our AC system was not delivering cold air, called several AC companies and Albers Air Conditioning and Heating called back right away.I spoke with Brian Bankston the tech. on call and he arrived at our home in less than an hour.Great service, he diagnosed the problem quickly and was able to obtain parts for repairs. Brian had our AC system repaired and back on line with in 2-1/2 hrs from my original call. We requested Albers HVAC to provide an assessment/bid for the two zone HVAC system in our daughter & son-in-laws first home (12 years old) in Slidell. We were navigating this process from out of state and so watching the YouTube video of Clay Albers explaining how he founded this business 30 years ago, gave us a sense of the integrity of this family owned business. Spencer, his son, visited the house before closing and provided us with a thorough and honest proposal of what needed to be done. He gave the most comprehensive overview of the various manufacturers that Albers represents. Spencer recommended replacing the ductwork as the original ductwork installation was significantly flawed. He was honest and told us replacing the ductwork now, rather than five years down the road, would result in the best possible efficiency of the new Daiken HVAC systems. Spencer was, without question, the most knowledgable and detailed HVAC contractor! He personally inspected the attic units and ductwork as well as the outside units and then, called my husband and explained his assessment and recommendations. He followed up with an email, detailed proposals and evening phone calls to answer my husbands questions. The installation process and start up was seamless. Anthony, the foreman on site, and his assistants, Mason and Tyler, were focused and energetic. It was a huge project and it was completed in two days of constant activity and attention to every detail! Pride in workmanship! How refreshing! This is a gift that will keep on giving as the Daiken systems have a 12 year labor and parts warranty. Spencer Albers was sincere, energetic and a pleasure to work with from a distance and in person! We sincerely thank him and his amazing staff.

As a 35yr. employee (retired) from United Technologies/Carrier I can recommend Albers A/C for your home air conditioning and heating needs.For the past 8 years or so they have serviced our existing system and about two (2) years ago installed a new high efficiency Carrier heating/cooling system.Both their service and installation crews are very polite, professional and well trained in their profession....Their prices are very competitive....but....with that being said their prices may not be the lowest you can find “on the street “. However years of experience in and out of my field of expertise have taught me that the “Low” price going in may by the time the job is complete and performing as it should be ends up being the “high” price. It is always dangerous when making a buying decision, especially on bigger ticket items to shop on “price only”.....I can wholeheartedly recommend Albers Air Conditioning for your heating and air conditioning needs.

Prior to calling him, I ended up spending 400 dollars for a defrost board, fan motor, and capacitor that I didnt need. My AC kept cutting off after it ran 20 minutes. The only problem was there was water in one of the fan blower lines and all Chris had to do was vacuum out the water. Oh well, chalk it up to, STUPID TAX, on my part. Ill know next time.

We had been using another HAC Co. for service for the last 8 years. The last time they noted my unit had a problem and they would return by calling a solution and the cost. They never called.A couple of neighbors nearby had used Albers. I called and they offered a promotional diagnostic check up for $84. and said that if I purchased any equipment the fee would be deducted.The next day Dillon from Albers showed up. A polite professional who knew his job. After surveying he recommended considering a replacement and without any pressure I asked him to give me an estimate. He said that Spencer Albers was on his way and he showed up shortly.The long and short of it was that we were totally impressed by his analysis and he offered 6 different choices of adequate equipment all reasonably priced and having a 10 yr guarantee on the units.The installation was well done by a crew of professionals; neat polite and fast.Spenser improved our quality of life tremendously and even found a problem in our attic with a vent for our water heater which he said hewould fix. The consultation was extremely cordial and Spencer is highly knowledgeable and obviously focused on customer satisfaction. We got three other estimates and Albers quote was very fair but it was the attention to detail that won us over. His install team--Chris, Justin and Morgan--were extremely hard-working, considerate and professional. They survived three steaming hot days in my attic and went the extra mile to make everything right with the new duct work and an amazing new system with humidistat. I had a question minutes before they were due to leave and up they went, back to the attic to check the details even though I told them not to worry about it! Just had my ac replaced by Albers AC and Heating. They also took out my old dirty duct work and did a very nice job hanging it out of the way. My husband and I decided to spend the extra money to get the Carrier high efficiency inverter. Which I love because it is so quite and saves us a lot of money on our electric bill. The girls in the office was really helpful and work around my schedule. The sales guy, Spencer, came out and gave us his quote. And gave us a few options to choose. He was really nice and knowledgeable. We also added the option of a UV light. It’s like putting a little sunshine in your house. The install crew did an excellent job and was really nice.

The after hours Answering service didn’t get the message to A Better, so that needs some work. After not hearing from A Better in the morning, I called their office and was taken care of immediately. They had not gotten the message from the answering service. A tech came out in several hours and confirmed the problem. The part had to be ordered and arrived the next morning. I was contacted by A Better to confirm the tech would be arriving in about 45 mins this morning to install the new blower motor. The tech was courteous, professional and quick. He also wore boot covers in the house which I appreciated very much. The tech was thorough and noticed I needed to clean the condenser coils and replace the air filters. He made some good suggestions on how to clean the condenser coils. After this experience I would recommend A Better and will use them again.

Update Jan21, 2021 - I had my semi-annual maintenance performed today. Chris was the technician and he has been here several times beginning when Albers installed the system when my home was built 4 years ago. With the current COVID situation and since I have an existing respiratory disease, we talked about the use of UV lighting to kill mold in the Heat/AC system. Chris was very knowledgeable about these devices and everything he said was in keeping with what I have read and heard about them. I decided to have one installed on the spot based on our conversation. I would recommend Chris and Albers to anyone. I like having my service done regularly with a quality company that knows my system and will be here when I need them regardless of the day or time.The technician, Chris, arrived within two hours of calling. He was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous and identified the problem quickly. He fixed my problem and had me back on line in no time. I had been meaning to look into a service contract since I bought my new retirement home, and I was so impressed with Albers that I purchased a contract on on the spot. Would highly recommend.

Just upgraded my Cooling and heating system to the Carrier Infinity System. I have to say Albers did an outstanding job at explaining every detail and the installation was as professional as possible. The crew paid attention to every detail as I observed the operation. The system is now working what a difference between the conventional systems and the Infinity System. I am giving Albers a 5 rating however I think they deserve even higher.

They replaced my mold covered ductwork too small for unit, changed the high & low pressure lines( wrong size installed) increased the size to allow my unit to work effectively, added drops and created an additional return air. Started taking out old ducts Tuesday afternoon by Friday afternoon system was up and running, everything cleaned up and all around professional job. I would highly recommend this company for any heating or A/C work!!

After years of HVAC issues I had Albers look at my two home systems. They are the first company to do a proper load calculation and recommended Daikin FIT variable systems 1 1/2 tons larger than my existing units. They worked with me to get available rebates and the best price. After installing the units and new ductwork, they did a performance test measuring airflow at each vent to be sure each room had the necessary volume. All in all, Albers is the most technically knowledgeable of any of the several AC companies that have addressed issues with my systems over the years.
