Great service, plenty of merchandise to look at and buy, fully staffed. Waiting in line I noticed they are beginner friendly, they take the time to explain a lot of tips and info. Go check them out.

The range and the staff was super nice. Took a lesson with Candy. She was very professional and helped me out (total beginner) gun safety and how to properly shoot. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking about trying something new out or just as a place to shoot.

FITS Indoor Range is amazing. All staff there are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. The training programs are excellent. They are always willing to answer any questions you might have, and I have a lot of questions. They maintain the highest safety standards and also have a great supply of everything you need it want. A huge plus, at least in my opinion, is that FITS is the only gun range in Louisiana that is 100% female owned, and the owners know their stuff!! FITS is my happy place! if you are novice or experienced, go to FITS now!

I attended the concealed carry class several months ago. It was an enjoyable informative class. Jennifer was very knowledgeable and made everyone feel at home. Great experience! I applied for my Mississippi permit and received it in two weeks. I highly recommend this indoor range.

Worst “gun shop” ever. Period!!!! My wife bought our son a post deployment/ birthday gift and made the mistake of transferring it to these clowns. She knew it was a gun he wanted and that’s it. So she did the transfer and it came in. Long story short, she was interrogated and was embarrassed because she didn’t know a few things about the gun. They made accusations in front of other customers.Defamation of character is filed.

Got a gun delivered there and turned out it needed to be transferred to another gun shop, lady working made me pay $40 for a transfer fee that she said she’d be hand delivering the next day. A week later and the gun has yet to be delivered. Worst gun shop I’ve ever dealt with

I went to the range with three of my family members on 11/9/20. Two of us signed up for the Concealed Cary class for a total of $250.00 that was to be held on 12/19/20.On 11/11/20 I had surgery on both wrists and am now unable to take the class. I called F.I.T.S. on 11/12/20 to let them know I needed to cancel the class and was told that I could not cancel and they would not refund my money even though I had a legitimate medical reason and the class was not being held for about a month. I asked to speak to the owner and was told that the owner was not involved in the operations of the business. so I asked for the manager and he rudely said I am one of the managers and the class in not refundable. I was told that I could reschedule only one time and if I missed that time I was out of luck.I was not told at the time that the class could not be cancelled nor was I furnished with any paperwork stating that.I would give a zero if I could as it is totally unfair to deny someone a refund due to a legitimate medical issue. I would never recommend this range to anyone based on the way I was treated.Customer service is surely lacking in this organization.

I used to shoot here on occasion and found it nice, but after looking just now to see that the range is charging 20 bucks a person to shoot for an hour Ive changed my mind. 60 bucks for my group of 3 to shoot handguns here or 18 bucks to do the same for 3 of us plus rifles for as long as I want at honey island? Thats an easy one.

I have been going to F.I.T.S for a long time and have enjoyed it. The people are very nice and knowledgeable on firearms. Good selection of long rifles and pistols...nice to be able to shoot before you buy, if that is what you are in search of? This all being said, the membership just provides discounts and does not cover your unlimited range fee (just so you know). The facility does have video cameras, but, there is not an active RM observing the shooters. So, it is your responsibility to be aware of what is happening around you (especially behind you)! Im not used to having people handling firearms behind me, and, never loading a weapon behind me. You will not do that at most ranges where there are RMs on duty. Other than that (which is an issue to me) it is a decent place to spend time; especially during bad weather.

Had a great experience being back today 5/1/20 after a long layoff due to hand surgery. An instructor gave me some helpful grip advice, the gunsmith helped me examine a concern about my rimfire revolvers firing pin, and the counter person made me feel welcome like I was old home folk! This is a wonderful business and group of people, and they deserve our full support! Thank you FITS!

Great, safe place for a beginner like me to learn to confidently handle handguns. I intend to go to one of the Women Only meetings on the last Wednesday of each month. All of the folks who work there are calm, steady, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Highly recommend them for their classes, their indoor shooting range, and their attention to customer needs and questions.

I ordered a gun and had it shipped there to do an FFL transfer. Everything went smooth and while I was there I bought some ammo at a good price. Haven’t used the range yet but I’m sure I will soon. Have another gun coming in for FFL transfer shortly. All in all I recommend them. Great staff!

Found today that they have 9mm ammo. Cost $30 for a box of 50. Outside of the price scamming you cant take it with you. No, you have to use it at their range at $20 an hour. I find the staff arrogant, condescending and rude. If I could rate less than 1star I certainly would. Wont go there, wont recommend it to anyone. Prices high, customer service low.Reply to your reply below: you think you are serving your customers and you may be telling yourself that, but the idea of only being able to buy 9mm to shoot on the range tells another story. Add to that the condescending tone of some of the employees makes the vist to your facility even less pleasant. Im not the first one to notice either complaint. Ive had the occasion to not recommend your range / store twice in the last three weeks to fellow associates that ask me about local ranges. After telling them of my experience they went to another. Ill continue to do so when asked.

This review is for Ladies Night. First, thank you for offering this to someone like me who can feel intimidated by a male dominated arena. I’m happy that there’s a night where I can connect with other ladies. Second, the class offered and taught by Candy was well worth the $35. We had classroom time to go over the basics of shooting (like grip, stance, and sights) and then we had some range time. I’ve learned a lot through the people at FITS, Curt, Christian, and Candy have all been so helpful!

I can read body language and facial expressions.Remind me to never shop in places like this unless Im in uniform. The fear and stereotypes are beginning to be played out. Everybody aint a thief that comes through those doors.

This is an indoor shooting range. You show up with nothing and they Supply everything. Everything that I bought and or rented wound up being $50. I am a gun owner and I have everything that I need to go shooting for minimal cost. If you want to show up empty-handed you can rent a firearm you can purchase targets you can purchase rounds and you can rent a lane. You can also purchase safety glasses and hearing protection. I rented a Smith & Wesson J frame 642 38 Special. I purchased a 50-round box of ammunition and I purchased safety glasses and targets. I was there for about 20 minutes and my experience cost me $50. I am not complaining just orating my experience. I prefer outdoor shooting ranges however if you prefer indoor shooting ranges I do suggest this range. This range has 8 lanes. Enjoy your shooting!

Great place for shooting pistols. The staff that I have encountered are nice, but the facility/range itself is terrific! Its not the biggest but it sure has a good working a/c. Their prices can be a tad higher than some other places, but my experience is always pretty solid when I go to Fits.

I had a 100 gift certificate for F.I.T.S and was eager to use it becuase of all of the great reviews i have heard. Unfortunately, they would not honor it. Terrible customer service. I will go to honey island swamp shooting range instead.

For the complainers, do your research before you choose any service like permits - know before you go!!! Let’s not blow off a place for lack of research. This range is clean, staff is knowledgeable on all areas of ownership, technique and firearms for your needs . Staff orders any items you may need. We used the range and made purchases. Cudos to Kurt who assisted us.

The guys are really helpful here. They have patience for those new to firearms so dont be shy, ask whatever you wonder about. Good prices and they know their products.

I would like to inform others that the $125.00 class is ONLY for the class. It was never relayed to me that I would be paying over $300.00 in total for my permit to carry. Therefore I recommend going somewhere else that would only charge you $250.00, for all of it.

Very helpful, wanted to order something i researched before i went to the store. they were more than helpful and suggested i waited a day to order because of a state tax holiday which is 32 bux in my pocket. yeah the range fee is a little high, but you gotta like shooting in the a/c. the staff seem well educated and i will rely on their experience when picking a holster.

Great team!!!! I have purchased several guns from them in the past and have not been dissapointed. This time was no different. I researched thoroughly for several weeks and after speaking with the staff was more confident in my choice. The range is pretty nice but the guy working the counter is absolutely horrible. There was only one other customer in there and the staff member completely ignored me for about 5 to 6 minutes while he was making small talk. There was no asking if I needed any help or Ill be with you shortly. It was just me staring at both of them talking. After the one other customer left, he finally asked me if I needed a lane.

My husband and I go shoot at Fits at least every other weekend. We get excellent service every time we sign in to the shooting range. The range is sometime very busy and could maybe use more bays but the building does not allow for this. The air filter/exchanger/circulation system is also excellent, clearing the air very quickly if too many shots are fired to close together. I have never had bad service at Fits and enjoy going there as often as possible. People with guns should shoot often to build muscle memory. I hightly recomend Fits to anyone.

I havent been in their shop in a number of years. I went in to make a purchase. The two clerks were waiting on other customers at the time so I waited patiently. Both employees finished with their customers at the same time. I stepped to the counter and both employees looked at me, then each other and both employees went into the back room. They never spoke to me or acknowledged me in any way. I walked out, guess they had enough business, they didnt need mine. Recently I talked to someone and was explaining what had happened to me there. He said thats the way they are there sometimes, theyve done it to me before. I will drive to Chalmette, New Orleans or Metairie before I ever step in that store again.
